Episode 16👿

We walked on foot, no horses just our food and jar of water and wine skin. We kept walking for several minutes, silence had it chain on us or maybe we had nothing to discuss. Our mission was either the boon of life or the curse of death.

For hours we kept moving on, then we arrived at the middle path, the deadly one which no one as ever passed.

“Why do you think this place is named dangerous” Kane asked in nervousness and anticipation.

“Well, we would find out when we get in there” Melvin replied

“Keep your eyes open for any slight observed change” I said to them and they answered with a nod.

We walked into the path which didn’t seem scary or dangerous, it was just a path like any other path, covered by leaves and one could smell the trees and the wind. The route was something one could be amazed by, the sound of the chirping birds was filled with melody and the route was cool and peaceful..

“This place is so awesome” One of the colleagues that went with us said

“Don’t be deceived by beauty” Melvin said.

“The trees have this kinda smell, it is a forest thing” Kane said looking at the other two that followed.

I knelt down and touched the soil to view the past and see any pending danger.

“All i see is darkness” I said

“You see another thing entirely” Melvin said

“What do you mean” I replied

“The day is bright and all you see is darkness” Melvin said

“Oh” i chuckled not wanting to tell him my powers

We kept moving following the straight path which seemed to be peaceful untill we observed a change in environment.

“This is creepy” Melvin said

“I smell blood” Kane replied

“It is getting dark” I said

“Everyone run!!” The other two shouted as took off with speed like they had seen a ghost

We ran after them like gazelles but Melvin was like a cheetah or did fear turn him to a cheetah.

After mins of running we stopped and looked at the other two. They had the look of death on their face and they were in panic.

One was of medium height like Kane but was dark skinned the other was a bit muscular like i and Melvin but was taller than us and also light skinned.

“What happened” Melvin asked like his hear would burst in any moment.

“The trees were watching” The light skinned one replied

“The trees had eyes and blood tears came out of them” The other said

“You both must have been hallucinating” i said imagining trees with eyes of blood

“Guys, i think you got to see this” Kane said

“What?” I said

“The trees” Kane said slowly

Out of no where a sharp branch shot out about piercing Kane through his chest, immediately with instinct i formed a force field which deflected the attack..

“Run!!” I shouted as i took off with them..

“We need to leave this forest, It isn’t safe” Melvin shouted as he ran

We moved so fast while sharp branches were fired at us from unknown shooters and we as the targets.

“Melvin use the flame power you have to burn down the trees” I shouted

He tried turning to use his sword flame shooter but a sharp branch caught his arm letting him put the sword back and keep running in pain, i looked to my side as i ran and saw that the other two had branches on their hands and legs they couldn’t run for long as they were bleeding.

“You guys go on, i will try to distract the trees and meet up with you” I said

“Josh!! Are you sure you can make? arghhh” Kane s¢ræmed has a branch struck his back before he could complete his sentence.

“Got to do this ” i said taking blaze off my back as i did a wood flip using a tree while i ut down sharp branches that were about hitting me with my sword.

I landed and did a front roll running back while the trees left their focus on my friends and focused on me..

“Zakomakomako yakima ice power” i shouted as my speed increased while i skid through the Wild trees so fast, i immediately switched to my flame power, while i skid on my ice spell, Blaze became red hot and flaming as it emitted powerful hot flames to burn down the trees.

On my right hand was my ice spell power while on my left was my fire sword burning down the trees..

“Time to turn back”I said as i looked back just to see the trees blocking the way while in flames.

I was surrounded by my own flames and using my ice spell to freeze the flames will still end up blocking my way again.

“Got to think fast or i become roasted by this trees” I said

I looked around and noticed the trees were coming closer to me in circles, a nice plan to burn me in the midst. I had the four eye beast fur underneath my disguise but they were vulnerable to fire but not to ice, metal and wood.

While i thought, i saw a tree which didn’t burn at all.

“Looks like my flame didn’t touch that tree” i said fixing blaze back to my sheath.

I skid off emitting ice steams while i moved toward the tree not to find cover but to defy gravity. I was about doing the unsure to ensure me surviving.

But how was i sure this venture won’t be my end or was it.

Episode 17👿

🔥Sub•title: Bridged💀

“All right i can do this” I said to my self while dodging the falling trees on fire.

I skillfully avoided a fallen burning tree performing a high side flip landing on my ice skid. I got to that tree which stood tall among the rest ready to defy gravity.

“Alright Josh here we go” i said to my self

I got a few meters to the tree immediately using my high momentum to levitate up on to the tree, as i grab a branch and swung my self to another branch, landing on it with my feet and then bouncing my self off the branch to another before i did a huge leap to the top of the tree.

“Wow, i can see kane and the rest from here” I said focusing my vision on them as they ran but kept their eyes behind.

Without hesitation i jumped off the tree, nose diving down into flames instantly i brought out blaze and s¢ræmed out my name..

“I am josh wielder of the 13th blade” I s¢ræmed, my eyes glowed pure blue as i took to the sky, soaring like an eagle. In minutes i landed with a heavy force on the ground right beside Melvin who almost fainted at my sight.

“Wow that was superb” Kane said

“And scary” Melvin said

“Come on guys we got no time to lose” I said as we continued our journey.

“So you can fly, how is that even possible” Kane asked in a funny tone while we continued our journey

“I don’t know” I replied with a smile

“We’ve come across a river” The other two shouted aloud

We ran to meet up with the other two who were far ahead of us.

“What river” Kane said

“See with your eyes not your mouth” Melvin said jokingly

“The river is up ahead” One of them said

We moved and saw the current which flowed with great force.

“We can’t swim to the other side” I said with a look at the river

“We know that, the river is fast and must be filled with low laying monsters” Kane said

“How do we get to the other side?” Melvin asked while he scratched his fore head and sat on the floor with his sword by his side.

“Easy” i said

“Of course you can fly” Kane said while he sat down with Melvin

“Silly you” i said laughing

“How do we get over the river then” Kane asked

“Watch” i said as i moved to the river and touched it freezing it up

“Now you can walk over it” i said

“Come on we have no time to waste” Kane said to Melvin as he ran over the ice sliding and falling.

“We need to get to that mountain as fast as possible” The light skinned one said and immediately a thunderclap was heard.

“The rain is filling up” Melvin said while we crossed the frozen river which i later unfroze.

“To continue our journey we need to pass this hill and that mountain for a clearer view” I said.

“What are we waiting for” Kane shouted while he warmed up

We started jogging over the hill, i repeat jogging so as not to lose majority of our energy to running, we passed over the hill successfully after treading on it path for 20 minutes before we came across something which didn’t seem human at all.

A screech was heard above as gigantic bird landed, facing us like statures but with eyes has red as burnt coal.

The bird which i assume as no bird had no beak but the face of a jaguar and feet of leopard, wings of an eagle but something happened.

The gigantic bird reduced to manly size and transformed into a man dressed in black and golden armour.

“In the name of pelegatus” Kane said as he brought out his weapon (A bow and his mouth😆)

“Humans what brings you to the forbidden path of awakened death” It said

“Who is gonna talk to this thing” I asked scrambling away.

“I will” Melvin said in a deep voice and upright position.

“Oh fussy thing, lord of the air and hills” Melvin said waving his hands like in a temple worsh¡p. The beast took four steps forward and looks like it got a frog in Melvin throat..

“I present to you my leader, the one that defeated 1000 men with his right hand, the one that struck thunder from his ass like it was poop, i present JOSH” Melvin said as he was about coming to get me..

“Oh wise one i present josh” I shouted displaying my muscles and performing a local dance that include shaking my shoulders w–st and head before carrying Kane on my head s¢ræming leader leader leader!!

“Sorry bro am not ready to die young” I whispered to Kane before walking away

“Neither am i” Melvin said as we both left josh far at fore front with the beast.

“You both think you got brain huh then watch” Kane said as he suddenly broke down to tears..

“My lord beast i am being framed, am just an ordinary farmer that is King josh and General Melvin at my back, the other two are mighty soldiers of valor” Kane shouted

“Oh chicken shit” Melvin and i said as we smack our head with our hand

“King josh, king of the mountains of kamaturu slayer of the indigo beast and killer of the red headed dragon” Kane said

“What the red headed dragon” The beast said in shock

“Yes haven’t you heard of the red headed dragon the one with the big moustache” Melvin said

“Silence” The beast shouted and the voice was thunder it self

“I know who you all are” The beast said

“Who” We asked

“Heroes of sagoe, now follow me” It said as it walked right in,side the mountain

“Should we go” Kane asked with a confused look

“Should we” I asked

“I asked a question yet you answer with another” Kane said shaking his head vigorously

“Let us just go before the rains come down on us” The other two said as they left us and walked forward.

“They are truly soldiers of valor” Kane said while we followed.

We walked right into the mountain walls and appeared in a glittering cave.

“Welcome, time for you all to go back into history and see what happened” The beast said as he waved his hands emitting lighting fogs.

Back in the days when beast and humans exist together….
