500 years ago.
“All hail the dark king conqueror of all who breathes” An army official shouted as the trumpets of war sounded.
The dark king moved slowly and his foot were on flames and each step makes the floor to burn dry..
At this time they prepared themselves against the people of zakodak, the beast humans. They were humans who transformed to great mighty beasts..
The dark king army had no chance against the people of zakodak but he had no fear for he had something up his sleeves.
The people of zakodak prepared themselves as they charged to battle but something was wrong, the air became foul, it was impure not by blood or tie but by something with great foul wickedness.
The banished great general of zakodak, banished for treating justice with evil, banished for his dark heart was consuming. The banished general appeared right behind the dark king, smiling mischeviously. He shook his head as he prepared for revenge, he took off to the sky puring flame on the people of zakodak but in mins he was thrown back to the ground by the people who still stood strong. The people had turn to mighty beast when suddenly the dark king touched the general forehead sending dark power into his veins so powerful that the dark king almost fell down from weakness, he felt after transferring lots of dark power to the general.
“Go” The dark king shouted in voice of thunder sending a wave of chill down his soldiers.
The general stood still, facing the people of zakodak. It was a one man against thousands of beast but the dark king didn’t feel disturbed but stood still with a smile watching the skies.
The general shook his head slowly as he was transforming to his beast, his s¢ræms were intense and his voice was like a roaring wind, he suddenly s¢ræmed again with his might blasting everyone around him but the dark king stood still like nothing had touched him despite the fact he was weak. The dust cleared away to reveal a gigantous beast, a red head dragon , one of the most dangerous in the whole universe, the dragon roared pushing out flames, wind out of it mouth. It flew to the sky and the skies became blackened, this was evil it self, the people of zakodak charged with there might against one beast but in a tail strike the beast controlled the sky wh¡pping all of the sky as they got struck by lightning which stunned them. From a great height they had all fall to the sky and landed with Hades but i was saved, i had landed in my house has i tried controlling my self but broke my left wing.
In minutes, thousands were burnt under the purple flame while i watched from my house. Without anyway to stop the battle i tried to move but only crawled.
“Burn the kingdom down” The soldiers shouted
On hearing this i crawled out of my home, using my last energy as i emitted a healing aura which healed my wing flying off just in time before the whole city got burnt by the purple flame of the beast.
“Oh my that really bad” Kane said
“Yes, the red headed dragon is the general of the dark king and you need to be careful not to meet him” The beast said
“Thanks, Do you happen to know any fastest cut to the Dark empire” Josh asked
“There are no shortcut to the empire i can only give you things for your protection” He said
“What?” Melvin asked
“Follow me” The beast said while we followed moving down into the mountain. We came across a dark cave but my sword glowed in the dark and i was surprised it did.
“You have a fancy sword over there” The beast/man said
“Yes i do” i replied
With a deep breath and few spells the cave came into light and brightness dwelled my head swelled on the sight of the fantastic fantasy on sight.
Weapons and portions varied and we were to choose what we wanted but never to dismay we took out what we needed, weapons in few, a change of clothing and portion in plenties like no other
“Thanks again” Melvin said
“We got to roll now” I said
“Be careful not all you see you should trust go with your heart not your mind” The beast said turning into a blinding light while we appeared outside the mountains.
“That was a bang” Kane and the other shouted.
“I know right” I replied with a smile as we took on in our journey.
Well we wore armor now but on top of it was still our traders disguised clothes. After a walking of a million steps we finally arrived not to the city but to a dazzling beauty we arrived at a meadow, a plain land with few trees and high grass.
“We camp here today” I said clearing the grass in a circular shape, in a singular strike.
Back in the REBEL VILLAGE*’*
“I know you want him for yourself but he his mine” Catherine said
“Got no time to argue with you at all you have Melvin why fight for Josh” Millan said
“Really” Catherine said laughing out loud
“I saw you both that night on bed” Millan said with a smirk
“You won’t dare” Catherine said as a spear emerged
“Yes i would” Catherine said as she took out her sword and shield
“”What are you both up too” Oshimov said from the blues
“Getting ready for training dad” Millan said with a smile while Catherine answered with a nod.
“Let me give you both an advice, Let him choose with his heart, only his choice matters” Oshimov said before coughing a little and leaving the scene.
“Ok dad” Millan said
“Am not discussing this with you any more” Catherine said
“Neither am i” Millan said as she walked away
Back in the Meadow, josh and the rest sat down on the cleared floor and a fire had been made already with the portion given to them which include making of good manufactured sweet food..
“You know after this journey and troubles of battle what do you want to do” Melvin asked
“Well all i will want to do is just go rest and have a good life” Kane said
“Marry a good wife too” The light skinned one whose name was later known to be Dominion said
“Have good kids too” Ranob said while drinking my wine.
Of course he and the rest were also drinking my wine while eating the sweet food created by the a little drop of portion..
“Well i wanna do the same thing as Kane” Ranob said
“Well i wanna travel the world” Josh said
“Everyone have what they want to do later or now and right now i wanna sleep” Kane said as he laid a blanket to lie down.
“Who will keep watch for the night” I asked
“Am too tired to watch out” They all said.
“Ok, i will make a force field for the night” I said
We lay down while i made my force field and went off to sleep when suddenly a soft step was heard silent but not for me…..

💥Subtitle: Silent paw🐾
The steps were silent but not for someone as sensitive as i am, i looked hoping to see something or someone but all i heard were steps and nothing more.
My colleagues were all deep in sleep due to the effect of wine and I myself was feeling the power of nature on my eyes or maybe I was just hallucinating i thought laying down to sleep.
Once again the sound came and behold I saw a foot, no it was a paw, a paw designed for beast use only with claws that were 6 inches long and sharp. It scrapped at my force field in anger and desperation. My force field was invisible but not that strong, with my eyes w¡dened I could feel the jaws of death even though it wasn’t holding me. The beast was looking like the word horror it self and it scrapped sounded like terror. It started giving my force field punches that sent a shock thought the field.
“Oh no” I need to make this shield to be really strong enough to withhold it power for the rest of the night. Then I looked around thinking of something since it was a little impossible for me to create a force to withstand the punch and even if it could what of if a pack of this beast starts punching it would be impossible for my shield to withstand the force throughout the night. I put in my hand right in to my back looking for a portion that could do my heart desire.
I remember picking up a portion specific for this purpose, I searched for some minutes and saw what I looked for without hesitation a drop of it was dropped at the center of the clearing I had made. The drop expanded and spread out then coming in contact with my previous force field before building up and vanishing.
“I guess it worked” I said with a smile since I saw no shock but heard pounds and scraps followed with a deep growl.
“Now to have a clear sleep” I said covering the portion and keeping somewhere safe, before moving to my jar of wine and drinking to satisfaction and sleeping off like a baby.
Location: Rebel village
“Are you they’ve all survived in the death path” One of the chief rebel asked
“One thing I would say the path is strenuous and am sure this team will make it to the dark empire and get important plans and strategies, we are lucky all we have to do is wait and give to them by training ourselves for the battle ahead” Oshimov said
“I see we shall wait but we need assurance they are alive” Another chief said
“Chief Oshimov!!” A soldier shouted
“What is it this time” Oshimov asked
“Rise of smoke from the forest” The soldier said
“That is your assurance a camp fire by them” Oshimov said as he left the gathering of the chiefs with his spear around his neck.
“Get the army ready we train till dusk” He said leaving
Location: Meadow.
We woke up and looked around packing our bags to continue our journey.
“Bring down the Force josh” Melvin said as he got ready to go
“A minor problem guys” I said
“Please don’t tell us you don’t know how” Ranob said
“Not that guys, i think we are been stalked”
“What the hell are you saying” Dominion asked as he yawned and stretched facing me
“Guys,guys, guys” Kane kept repeating
“What is it ?” Ranob asked
“I think you would like to take a look at that” Kane said pointing to a four legged beast.
“Same thing I was gonna talk about, that b east has been stalking us all through the night” I said listening to the beast growls.
“We need to find a way to skip him am not for menu this morning” Kane said
“Off course bro, you stink” Dominion said laughing which seemed to amaze the beast has it wagged it long tail.
“Dominion the creature seem to pick great interest in you or should I say your skin” Melvin said laughing.
“Guys look the creature also have some kids” I said
“Seriously you call 20 kids some” Kane said.
Out of the blues another beast emerged and walked majestically as it looked me into the eyes. We stared for like 5 mins before it removed it eyes.
“Don’t tell me you fell in love with that beast of a thing” Melvin said laughing
“No, he was searching my soul” I said touching my chest
“You can come out now” The beast said (Lions)
“It spoke, the beast speaks, the beast just told us to come out” Kane shouted as he gasp for breath.
“Yeah, well am indigestible so you guys can go” Melvin said
“Melvin, Ranob, Dominion, Kane and Josh, The heroes of sagoe step out we have no intention to attack you, we eat other animals not you” The lioness said with a smile
“Such a dangerous smile” Ranob said
“How did you even get our names” Kane asked
“We see your souls” The lion king said
“I trust them guys” I said
“Of course” Dominion said
“Don’t try dropping this force field” They all shouted
“We ain’t ready to be on the menu today” Kane said
“Too late I already dropped it” I said
“Grab your weapons” Melvin shouted as he took his sword.
“Prepare for battle” Kane shouted has he brought out two mini swords
“We ain’t going into bones today” Ranob shouted as he brought out a long spear with a golden blade.
“Keep shut” Dominion said
“How is it possible we are talking to lions” I asked
“It is in the portion you all drank yesternight” The lioness said
“True” I replied
“We are going to the dark city” Dominion said
“Yes we know that” The lion said and immediately we saw the pride of lions.
30 female lioness and 3 Males with 20 cubs.
“Wow what a pretty family” Melvin said
We stepped out of the barrier line with our bags strapped to our backs..
“The dark city is very dangerous and the path is still long and filled with obstacles” The lion said
“We are ready to pass them” I said
“You have our paws, we support you” The lions said as they roared.
“Thanks alot we appreciate” Melvin said as we all moved waving at the lions.
“Lets move on guys” I said.
We kept moving deep into the forest past the meadows land.
“We need to hurry am really tired of walking” Ranob said after walking for hours.
“We need to rest my legs feel like Sagoe noodles” Melvin said
“Guys i see a waterfall ahead” Dominion said
“We will rest there for a while” I said
“That is great” Melvin said as he sat down on a stone.
We all took a swim in the chilling water while we took our bath. Melvin shouted that he noticed some movement in the water so we all swam out of the water as quick as possible.
“It all safe” Ranob shouted as he laughed still swimming in the water
“Ger out of the water” we shouted as we climbed up and stood on a high platform where the water passed through before making a fall.
“You guys got there so quick” Ranob said with a smile
“Move out Ranob” Melvin shouted
“Too tired to move bro” He said
“Arghhh” Ranob shouted so loud
“What is it” Kane asked
“I can’t move guys” Ranob shouted as he struggled
From behind a creature emerged having 8 arms like an octopus but it head was like that of a buffalo it roared so loud that the water stopped flowing for a split second.
The creature started strangling Ranob slowly bringing him closer and up to it mouth for munching..
“You don’t dare eat him” Melvin shouted bringing out his sword
“He is a friend” Dominion shouted taking out two large axes
“He is family” Kane shouted taking out his two mini sword.
“He is among sagoe, he is one of us, mess with one then you have a storm coming your way” I said firing an arrow to the forehead of the beast but it didn’t even react but kept strangling Ranob, squeezing life outta him slowly..
“Enough intro guys, safe me” He shouted.
“Long live Heroes of sagoe” we s¢ræmed while Kane blew his horn he had, sounding through out the whole land.
I took blaze by right hand and Ranob weapon on my left, and Kane took his mini swords, Dominion brought out his axes and Melvin brought out his huge sword.
The beast looked up and saw us and roared in anger. Kane responded blowing the horn with his might..
“Die you beast!!” We all shouted as we jumped down from the highest point of waterfall going down for the beast with our weapons in hand.
The beast released Ranob who quickly summoned his spear from my hand and did a huge leap upwards getting ready for a power strike. The beast roared and got ready for battle.
“Charge!!” I s¢ræmed with blaze glowing while i was still falling with the others.
“We are the stars, We are the killers, mess with us you got a storm coming your way” We shouted together.
