Ryan came to check on Zeenat, they both sat in the living room Zeenat was sitting on the sofa with her hand wrapped around her body, resting her back on the pillow, she wasn’t even looking at Ryan but she stared at the TV instead.
Ryan sat next to her with his hand on her laps trying to talk to her “Zeenat am sorry, you are not even looking at me, it is not my fault” he said “but my own fault right?” she asked “of course not” he replied “ listen Ryan have had enough” she said “what do you mean, babe what do you mean by ‘you have had enough?” he asked softly “I have had enough of your excuses, I also deserve to be happy, Ryan I feel like I am the only one in this relationsh¡p, it’s always your work, we only see each other on random days, we don’t do things together, your birthday, my birthday, valentine’s day, even our anniversary. Ryan we don’t anything together, it’s always your work every time. This is June, I mean we are in the month of June, how do you want people to take it when I tell them that have only seen my boyfriend twice this year, today makes it the third time we are seeing each other this year Ryan but we are together in the same country” she said as tears dropped rapidly from her face. Ryan was about to hold her hand “don’t touch me, don’t even think of touching me, this is not how we started, why is your job always important and not me” she asked “of course not babe, you can’t say that, my job is not important than you” he said “really!, are you sure about that?” she asked angrily “yes of course babe you are important to me” he replied “fine, if truly am important to you, me or your job tonight?” she asked “ Zeenat are you for real? Logan and I are moving to the governor’s house tonight I only came to see you” he replied “so you are trying to say that you can’t stay with me tonight” she asked and more tears dropped “babe I can’t stay, please try and understand me” he pleaded “what about the ones I tried to understand, is that not enough, why do you think your job is everything, why don’t you also think about me and my feelings for you, you are really hurting me and I can’t take it anymore” she said bitterly “am sorry, I am really sorry, I promise to make it up to you” he said “make it up to me? When? when are you going to leave the governor’s house?” she asked “I don’t know yet, may be in a couple of months” he replied “ so you are trying to tell me that we are not going to see each other for another two months or more, which you are not even sure yet, maybe it’s going to be much more than that, is that what you are trying to tell me right now?” she asked softly.
Ryan could not answer her, he only stared at her “ I hate you…I hate you so much, I really really hate you I hate you so much she said as she cried bitterly.
She stood up from the sofa, running straight to her room as she shut the door behind her.
Ryan couldn’t move or do anything; he just sat where he was, feeling guilty….

Logan and I both moved to the governor’s house, we were given our own room, one for me one for Logan while the other guards will be sharing the room, two person’s each.
I sat on my bed, feeling so down and weak, I just don’t get myself, Zeenat was really bothering my mind and I really need to focus, I am here to protect a governor.
Logan walked into my room “the governor is in the living room, he wants to see us” he said to me while I stood up and followed him out of my room.
We arrived at the living room and there was the governor, welcoming us with his smile “please have a seat” he said to us.

I have done a lot of bad things and I know that there are some people out there trying to kill me, yeah I know about that, I know them and they also know me.
But I have to be good in public, I have to be good to people, of course my bad way is in the past now and that is why I took this position so that I can have full protection and that is why I want these boys as my guards.
I have heard a lot about them, they were well trained for protection and good shooters too and that is why I want them beside me; for ultimate protection.
“ you must be Ryan and you Logan right” I asked them “yes sir” They both replied “I know it feels somehow to work with me, but I don’t know why am believing in our experiences, I know there are lots of guards out there to do this job, but I want you guys to do it, I want you guys to be the one, just both of you, till my boys arrive, right now it’s just me and you guys” I said with a smile “permit me to ask you this sir, who are your boys?, I mean I expect them to be here to protect you” this guy called Ryan suddenly asked.
Now I get it, I was told he’s very smart and I think he is trying to do that right now, how am I going to tell him that the boys am talking about are my gangs and followers during my bad days, you think you are smart. “Actually, my boys are not in the country yet, they went for more training, I thought their training will end before I took this position, but it seems its taking more time, so I have to keep you boys beside me until they come” I replied him with a smile even though that was a lie,My boys are trying to get me information on those who are after me,that’s just the truth “ok sir” he replied “If you need anything, please let me know” I said to them “ thank you so much sir” Logan replied “you are welcome” I said.

Logan and Ryan walked into Ryan’s room; Logan sat on the couch while Ryan lay down on his bed “Ryan what’s going on, I noticed that you are not yourself lately, it is about Zeenat?” Logan asked “yeah it’s about Zeenat” Ryan said sadly “what happened to her” Logan asked “am just feeling guilty, I don’t like the way I left her before coming here, it’s really giving me a hærd time. Logan I think after we get Jamal, I am going to quit this job, I want to resign” Ryan said sadly “you want to resign, are you kidding me? Do you know what you are talking about?, what are you going to do after you quit this job, Ryan you need to think about this very well before making any decision, I know you are having a hærd time, but quitting your work is you out of it” Logan said “but Zeenat’s happiness is more important, Logan I can’t believe I made her cry, see I was wondering if this is how she always cry anytime am not with her and it’s really piercing my heart, I couldnt help it when she was even saying everything, I couldn’t even utter any statement cause she was right. This really makes me feel guilty” Ryan explained bitterly “so what’s the essence of my job when my girlfriend is not happy, Logan we are talking about Zeenat here” Ryan added “I understand you, I understand what you are trying to say but there are better ways to create time for her, not by resigning from your job, I know you want her happiness and you want to create the time for the both of you, so you can just take a leave for a while, you can do that without hurting your own self please, don’t resign, so that you won’t regret it later, don’t let you happiness die because you want her to be happy and don’t also hurt her because you want to be happy. I won’t say more than that, so please think about it carefully, don’t just make any decision without thinking about it properly.

Zeenat at the grocery shop, getting herself fruits, she wanted to make some fruit juice and she also ran out of fruits at home.
She was busy checking some oranges when two guys walked up to her “excuse, what’s going on here?” she asked them “do you see that car, just walk quietly to it” one of the guys said “you must be crazy, are you insane, how can you t…….” she got shocked when the other guy suddenly raised up his top, showing her his gun “if you know what’s good for you, kindly walk straight to that car” the guy said. Without any more thought, she walked to the car while the guy with the gun opened the car for her,she entered quietly looking around if anyone notice her,but no one did, they entered the car with her and drove away.

I am trying to call Zeenat, but her number is not available. I wonder if she is still mad at me “of course she is still mad at me, if I can’t take a leave, I will have to quit, I gave it a deep thought, I want to be with her, I can’t even continue this job forever. I want to make her happy and I must do everything to make her happy.
I don’t know why Mr. Badmus looks so suspicious to me, and besides what does Jamal have to do with Badmus, something seems fishy, I want to know how Kevlin is doing.
They only reason why my mind is at rest is that Jamal is only a mafia boss. He doesn’t do anything more than drugs, he doesn’t kill; I checked his history he has never done that before.
He already promised not to hurt him and I really hope he does that, I just want a break from everything, am getting tired of everything,Most especially I really want to make Zeenat happy……

Ryan seems to be difficult, he is really taking advantage of me, he knows that I will never hurt innocent ones and I have never killed anyone before and that is why he is really not bothering about the boy here.
Even though I never hurt or killed anyone before, I think the time to do that is almost here “boss they brought in the girl, but she seems very hærd to control, and you know we don’t touch ladies or the innocent ones, we know what to do to her but we just can’t, she is really shouting right now” Ivan said to me “You don’t even knock on my door” I replied with a smile “oh! Am so sorry boss, she really distracted me” he said where is Axel, is he not attending to her?” I asked “ he is sleeping and we can’t disturb him” he replied me while I stood up “she is still shouting? why is she reminding me of someone right now” I said as the both of us walked out of my room “who is she reminding you of?” he asked “ my first love” I replied with a smile “you have a first love?! You never told me about her” he said “ you never asked” I replied him.
He opened the door to the room and there was Maverick and Earl standing and looking at her as she sat on the bed.
She raised up her head to look at me and that moment, the world seized for a moment; the last person am expecting “J…Ja…Jamal!” she exclaimed “Zeenat!” I said surprisingly……..
