CHAPTER TWO…🥺🥺

“How could you” Mira whispered and Jayden froze. It was as if he heard her soft whispers which he did.
slowly he turned his head and was shocked to see his girlfriend there with tears running down her cheeks.
Jayden quickly got off the lady while she smirked not bothering to hide her nakedness. Mira eyes w¡dened when she saw who the lady he was f**king was.

Layla Kendall…her biggest enemy right from high school.
Mira couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw that her boyfriend was f**king her worst enemy which He was aware of .

Right now she could feel nothing for him but complete hatred. Without a second look at his cheating face, she rushed out of the apartment.

Jayden was about to call after her when Layla held him back.

“where do you think your going” she asked holding his hand s-ductively.
“Let’s continue from where we stopped before she interrupted” Jayden yanked her hand off his.

He thoroughly hated himself right now. That was because he was still deeply in love with her. He has always been right from their high school.

***Back in high school***
Jayden Hart was the school’s number one hearthrob and Mira , the most beautiful girl in the entire school. Her sea blue eyes that glitters and and her perfectly shaped nose . Her sweet cherry plump l-ips and lovely face . She was every guys dream girl including Jayden . So in order to avoid her being taken by other guys in the school, he decided to make his move on her.

But just like other guys , he was turned down , hærd. This was the fist time that a girl had rejected him. Many girls even wished to be in his bed but here was a simple girl rejecting his friendsh¡p..

‘am the school number one sweetheart’ he said to himself still astonished at the fact he was rejected for the first time in his life.

Being so gloomy, he went ahead and became drunk . He tried to stagger to his dorm but was met by Layla . And that was when the affair started . Way before he was in a relationsh¡p with Mira.

After helping him that night, she s-duced him and till this day she still had him wrapped on her finger.

Layla was consider the second most beautiful girl in the school. This made her jealous. Yes she was attractive and s-ductive, Mira’s beauty still surpassed hers. And she had a deep crush on Jayden and when she found out that he wanted to make his move on her, her blood boiled.

‘Why can’t he look my way’ she asked her self continually and when that night came that he was drunk , she saw it as an opportunity to get him.

Even after sleeping with her, he was still deeply interested in Mira.
Out of anger, she threatened to release their s–x tape to everyone in the school if he dared ditch her.
Confused and angry , he succumbed to her will . She gave him conditions to follow if he wanted to date Mira.

Condition no 1: he must always come at her beck and call no matter where he is.

Condition no 2: he must continue to satisfy her s–xually and not touch Mira at all.

Condition no 3: he must never be found by anyone being affectionate with Mira in public.

This conditions were valid for 3yrs..

These three conditions made his head boil with angry..How can she ask such things. . But he had to deal with it.

These usually caused fights between him and mira and it weaken their relationsh¡p.
Even after the conditions were over, Jayden found it hærd to touch Mira so he kept going back to Layla till today without feeling any Sense of guilt until that moment when guilts and regrets for his actions came flooding back

“This is all your fault” he yelled at her . Layla was suddenly taken aback with the shouting. This is because he has never raised his voice at her.
“What did I do” she asked feigning her voice as though she wanted to cry. This always worked on Jayden cause the tears of a girl was his biggest weakness but well, today it seems like the magic had disappeared.

“Get out Layla” he said with a very deep voice sounding extremely serious.
Layla was once again surprised because her act didn’t work on him this time.

“But —” attempting to hold and car–s him when he grabbed her hand harshly and in a stiff grip. ” ouch —- let go, your hurting me” she cried out but Jayden was far from being merciful. It was as if the scales that blinded him from seeing the truth had been removed. He could see clearly and he could finally realized how at fault he had been all these years . He glared hærd at her not releasing his grip at all.

“Never show your filthy face to me again” he growled at her and yanked her off the bed throwing her on the floor naked . “make sure your gone before am back” he got off the bed and headed for the bathroom. Just before he got to the door, he paused and look at the woman on his floor looking frightened and confused.
” one more thing, everything that ever happened between ‘us is over’ ” he emphasized clearly ..Then he entered the bathroom.

He was so full of guilt and sadness that he couldn’t even go after her. he suddenly felt weak in the knees that he couldn’t stand properly any more. He turned on the shower and lean on the wall allowing the cool water to soothe him of his pains.

“what have I done”…

As soon as she got out of the building of his apartment, she wiped away her tears to avoid questions from people.

Walking slowly, she headed for her own apartment. Events of her relationsh¡p with jayden flooded in her mind.

‘so this is why he never touched me. Cause he had some one to satisfy him already’.. It all made sense to her now. Each time she tried to sleep with him he would refuse her telling her she was a v×rgiπ and that he didn’t f–k v×rgiπs cause he didn’t know how to. Mira thought he was just being caring cause she knew how painful disv×rgiπing was but who knew that was not the case.

Hatred brewed in her heart against him. she hated him to the extent that she felt like murdering him but she couldn’t do that. All she could do was to cry her heart out.

As soon as she got to the door, she could see it was locked.

“mum ain’t back yet?”..this was quite surprising.but she brushed it off her heavy mind and began searching for the key.

“Mira”,she turned to see the caller.
“Aunty Midge” she went towards her. She was her next door neighbor.

“Mira my dear. Your mother asked me to give you the keys. She’s having a night shift today Hun” she smiled and gave her the bunch of keys.

“Thanks aunty” she gave her a dry smile . Her eyes looked empty.

“Mira , are you okay” she asked concern and she nodded and went off to open the door.
Aunty Midge knew she was lying but decided to drop the matter and leave.

As soon as Mira unlock the door and entered, she broked down in tears…

…🤧 CHAPTER THREE 😰😿…

As soon as Mira unlocked the door and entered, she broke down in tears. No matter how hærd she tried to stop the tears from flowing, she just couldn’t. She had been disappointed twice in day. First she lost her third job and next she found out that her boyfriend was a cheater.. He wasn’t just cheating on her , he cheated on her with her greatest enemy.
‘How could he’ she whispered and tears continued to flow from her eyes.

She knew she shouldn’t have accepted to be his girlfriend back then. Kira warned her that he was a playboy but yet she didn’t listen . That was because she had already grown a soft s₱0t for him.
Ever since he asked her out and she turned him down like other guys, he began following her up and down trying to win her love.

One day he cornered her at the back of the class and with his face so close to hers, he said “one day, I’ll make you mine” he promised.

Mira could remember vividly how wild her feelings, emotions and thought went with those words . She felt hot and her heart raced fast . she couldn’t stop thinking about him.
During the lunch break , she just kept on smiling without even touching her lunch. she was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn’t even realize that she was smiling stupidly.

“Hello down to earth Mira” Kira her best friend said waving her hand to get her attention but Mira didn’t even bulge.

“Mira , your mom’s here” immediately Mira snapped out of the thought.
“Huh—where?” she asked immediately scanning her eyes around the entire cafeteria looking anxious.

Kira just stared at her without saying a word and ignored her question.
“what the hell were you thinking about” she furrowed her eyes as she examined Mira.

“Gosh you scared me ” she replied placing a hand on her chest to calm down.

“Don’t change the topic Mira ”

“I wasn’t planning to” she replied and shrugged.

Her friend sighed…
“what is wrong with you?. You have been acting strange ever since you came out of drama class” she asked as she took a full spoon of her salad..
Yep…she was a vegetarian .

“nothing is wrong with me Kira. Don’t I look normal to you?” she threw a question at her.

“No you don’t. You have been smiling ever since you saw the food and you haven’t even eaten up to three spoons yet. It’s as if your thinking about your crush” Kira said nonchalantly before Mira choked on the water she was drinking at the mention of the word ‘crush’.

Mira let’s out a nervous laugh before saying, “am perfectly okay. Just recalling some good old times” she added a smile.

Although Kira didn’t buy her explanation yet, she just let go of the topic knowing that Mira would eventually tell her.

This also repeated itself when she was with her mother. Remembering what happened then , Mira smiled weakly.

It was on a Saturday morning. No school. She was doing her own share of the house chores when Jayden sent her a text.

“Missing u so much ,🌹💖
XOXO …J”..

Mira felt butterflies in her tummy as she read it. She didn’t even know what to reply but there was a huge smile on her face and she blushed as she re-read the message over and over again.

Unknown to her, her mother who was about to ask her about something saw her smiling and blushing while looking at her phone.

“Did your boyfriend text you” she said out of nowhere and Mira jerked from her thoughts and phone and look at her mother wide eye.

“Muuuum” she gr–ned “I never told you I had a boyfriend ok” she pouted and her mother laughed and then pinch her cheeks.

“you don’t have to tell me. it’s obvious with the beautiful smile of yours plastered on your face” she replied. Mira just look at her mother as though she was confused.
“Fine then. Can I see the text?!” she asked and Mira eyes opened even w¡der in horror of her mom wanting to look at her phone. She couldn’t imagine what would have if she saw it therefore she immediately hid her phone behind her away from her mother view. Although her mom had no intention in intervening in her daughter’s privacy, it was quite amusing seeing the look on her face which just confirmed her suspicious.

She laughed softly, “seems like my little girl is growing up” she smiled and turned away to finish the work forgetting what she wanted to tell Mira.

Remembering all those times simply hurt Mira the more. She felt like a fool for acting like that those times for someone who may have been, at that time, f–king whores.
Again , a fresh new batch of tears flowed from her eyes. She couldn’t even stop herself.

“I should have listen to Kira” she said to herself still crying.

Yes—— she should have . Kira warned her against Jayden ever since Mira eventually told her about him.
“He’s a player Mira. He’s not committed” she told her but Mira just wouldn’t listen.

“I know but he has promised me to be committed this time ——–:” she couldn’t finish her statement when Kira interrupted.

“And you believe him?” she asked in disbelief.

“Yes I believe” Mira retorted immediately.

“Mira , can’t you see that he’s deceiving you”.

“He is not deceiving. I believe with my entire heart and I trust him. Yes he’s a player but he’ll change. After all your a player also” Mira answered angrily before she could stop herself. However the words were already out.
Kira looked at her obviously hurt by her words and tears welled up in her eyes.

“Am so sorry Kira. I didn’t mean —–” attempting to touch Kira and apologize but Kira stepped back to avoid her touch.

“Don’t touch me” she said sternly.

Guilt suddenly over rode Mira. She wished she could take back those words.

“Kira, I ——-” before she could complete her statement, Kira walked out.

“My friendsh¡p nearly felled apart because of you Jayden and this is how you repay me” she cried h-rder than ever. No amount of tears could heal the huge hole in her heart.

So this is what heart break felt like. She felt as though she was stabbed over and over again in the heart.

She needed comfort

She needed someone to support and tell her everything is going to be okay.

She needed someone to cuddle her.
She needed to be love once more

Since her mom was still at work, she immediately dialed Kira number.

“Hello Mira , how was ——” Kira soon began talking after she answered the call.

“I need you” she whispered softly and then ended the call and went back in her tears …

She walked into the police station. Her heels kept on making the ‘click’ sound as she walked.
.All heads both the police and the criminals turned to look at ur woman who majestically walked in.

“Officer, my daughter has been missing since this morning” the woman replied in tears.

“Ma’am, am sorry but we cannot declare her missing until after 24hrs” the Man behind the desk replied casually without any emotions” the officer replied casually without any emotions.

“how can you say that?! what if she’s hurt or in danger?! you police are just useless” she said angrily and walked away.

Soon the attractive woman reached at the officer desk. The man just stared at her and without a word she took a sit on the chair that the other woman just left from.

“officer ” she said and look at him in the eyes ” I want to file a complaint”
