Chapter 7

FREDRICK

It was a gloomy afternoon when I was showing my skills in a torture cell.

“So are you going totell me or not?” I asked to the man tied on chair in front of me.

Blood was oozing from the man’s head about which I cared the leadt.

“I am asking this last time…” I stopped in my sentence when I heard the man’s phone ringing which was in Ronald hand.

I signalled Alex who gaged the man’s mouth.

I received the call and put the phone on speaker.

📞”We have reached our destination boss! When are you joining us? There are alot of people in this mall.” Voice appeared other side.

The man started shouting but that gag was muffling his sound again and again.

📞”Boss are you there?” A voice again beamed.

There was a dead silence in the room which was again and again breaking down by the muffling sound of the man.

I couldn’t listen to the one on the phone because of this disturbance.

Rage started filling in me

I took my gun and shot the man right on his forehead.

📞”Boss? Who are You? Where is my Boss? Boss, are you okay?? Who are You?” Panic could be heard from the other side.

📞”I am your daddy.” With that I threw the phone in the hot wax near me.

No one dared to speak a word.

“Alex make our Alpha team ready. We are going on a search operation.”

Alex nodded and left.

FREYA

I put my depression pills in my bag and headed in,side the mall.

Shopping was my hobby.

I can’t live without shopping for even a week and besides it used to cheer my mind up.

FREDRICK

Three cars left the porch of warehouse simultaneously.

“But where are going? We don’t even know their next target?” Ronald said jumping in the car.

“I know where they are going to attack!!” I said filling the magazine of my gun.

” How? There are numerous malls in London. how we are going to find the specific one?” Alex said driving.

” Did you hear the music in background??” I asked raising brow.

“Yeah! But..”

“Their is only one mall in this area which have such background music. It is surely a different one!” Isaid and Ronald and alex curled their l-ips in an ‘oh’.

Rest of the ride went silently.

“Woah!! Such a nice colour and design!”I squealed looking at a shirt in front of me.

“Surely ma’am it will look beautiful on You!!” The shopkeeper smiled at me.

“Can it try this?” I asked her.

“Sure ma’am! Go straight and then turn right. There is trial room.” She directed me.

Thanking him I made my way towards the trial room.

“What is this tickling sound??” I said looking here and there after wearing the shirt.

Suddenly I started feel uncomfortable in the shirt.

“What is this tickling s-nsation at my back?” I started patting my back but that s-nsation was increasing with ever passing second instead of decreasing.

I turned my back towards mirror and looked in mirror turning my neck.

I gasped looking at the sight in front of me.

There was a clock type something attached to the back of my shirt.

“Clock?Who will..”My words died on my l-ips when I saw the timer on the small ok type thing and many wires attached to it.

With every passing second a tickle sound was producing.

I couldn’t comprehend what it must be until I heard voices outside the trial room.

“Boss we have searched everywhere but we couldn’t find anything.”

“Are you sure?” A stern voice beamed.

“Boss! A b0mb is in this trial room. Look the tracer is getting red.”

I heard someone yelling from outside.

“B0mb…” A whisper left my mouth.

Chapter 8

“B0mb” A light whisper left my mouth.

“Is there anyone in,side there? “A voice came from outside.

“Hmmm…yes..me” I managed to stutter out of fear.

“Sir there is some girl in,side”

I nodded and Ronald started banging on the door.

On the third bang, the door was lying on the floor.

My eyes w¡dened looking at the frame in front of my eyes.

In a mere second I recognized her.

” What are you doing here?” I asked sternly.

“What people do in trial room?” She replied venomously.

“Sir, the bomb is attached to her shirt!”

My attention drifted towards the panicked voice of Alex

“What?” She scre-med in fear.

“Ma’am it’s just a matter of seconds. Stay still. Please! Only two minutes is left for the b0mb to explode!!”

“Noo” She shouted in fear.

Alex went to her back and started cutting the piece of her shirt from where the bomb was attached.

Cool breeze touched her back.

All the males in the shop started ogling at her.

These men can’t change ever.

Even being this close to death they are busy gawking at her.

I sighed and exchanged looks with Ronald who too noticed the same thing.

“Please rush out of here. It can explode anytime. Out everyone!” Ronald said after taking signal from me to empty the mall.

“Sir she is moving alot. In this way I won’t be able to detach the bomb from her dress.”

I averted my gaze towards Ivy at alex voice.

I went towards her and made her stood straight by holding her arms.

Sparks flew when I touched her.

“Please……I..I don’t want to die!” She held my shirt tightly as soon I approached her and burst into tears.

“If you don’t want to die then stay still” I said sternly and she nodded but she was shaking badly with fear looking at the death standing near her at the distance of merely 2 minutes.

“I don’t want to die. Please save me, Please! I will give you my savings. I won’t swear anymore. I will even apologize to Simeon again but please save me. I wont misbehave with anyone again. I won’t create panic in any restaurant again. I won’t scold my maids ever again. I will even apologize to you too but please save me, I want to live. I don’t want to die” She was speaking and hiccuping in her trance fisting my shirt.

Chapter 9

FREDRICK

I looked at her in amusement.

She raised her head and seeing a small smile on my face and started crying heavily.

“I know you are being happy seeing me in this state. You want to take your revenge because I mistreated you? But please take it in any other way I…don’t..want ..to…die” she started shaking while crying now.

“Its ok!! Keep quite and close your eyes and think about your favourite things and people.” I sighed and put her head on my chest stroking her hair.

This somehow calmed her.

“Shh. It’s ok” I said patting her head.

“Sir there are too many wires. There is a risk of exploding of bomb on cutting any wrong wire.”Alex said in one breath.

She looked at me in horror.

Our eyes met and I saw an ocean of horror flowing in her eyes.

“Aren’t you afraid of dying? Why don’t you leave me?” She whispered looking into my eyes.

“Cut the red wire” I whispered.

“Are you sure sir..”

“Just cut the wire dammit.” I roared in anger making her flinch in fear.

“Let’s die together”
I whispered putting my head closer to her’s.

I myself didn’t know why I said that and what I said.

Both we are standing there with our eyes closed and racing hearts.

God knows how many moments passed with us standing like that.

“Done!!!!” Alex shouted and we both got out of our trance.

I pulled back and Alex stood up with bomb in his hands and went out.

“Go change. Your shirt is ripped from the back.” Isaid averting my gaze.

She nodded and took her shirt but then again stood there still.

“What are waiting for now?” I raised brow at her.

Instead of saying anything she pointed towards the door of the dressing room which was now lying on the floor.

My mouthed ‘oh’ and walked towards the door area.

“Change fast I am standing here. No one will come in” Isaid standing with my back facing her on the doorway.

IVY

I sighed and took my shirt to change.

I quickly slipped into my previous shirt.

I was about to call him but halted when I remembered that I don’t know his name.

I cleared my throat to get his attention when he didn’t return I thought to pat his shoulder.

I was about to touch his shoulder when he turned back and my palm striked with his cheek.

It was more of a soft pat on his cheek.

“Ahm….actually I was….”

“I heard you!” He said cutting me of and headed outside.

We both came out of shop when my eyes landed on someone.

“Nathan!” I shouted taking nathan attention.

“Baby” He yelled and ran towards me.

I hugged him tightly when he reached me.

” You don’t even know how much I was worried when I saw the news on the tv.” He said k-ssing my head.
