“Any information about Jasmine, ” Steve asked.

“Yes sir” Chris the leader of the guards replied.

“So, where’s she?”Steve asked looking around.

“Sir is not like we’ve seen her, but all we know is that they are in Moscow. We found out on the street camera in the railway station.

They left with Moscow trained”Chris said.

Steve hit the table angrily with his hand. He stood up and kicked the table furiously.

“Sir your hand is bleeding, “Chris said when he sees Steve’s hand bleeding.

“If you don’t leave here right now, and find her wherever she’s. I will strangle you right these minutes” Steve thundered.

They all dashed out of the house. Steve str-de angrily to the darkroom.

He moved closer to Clark who was tied on a chair. Steve grip his neck.

“You, I will kill you slowly. Where’s your cousin?”Steve asked in a husky voice.

“Why are you asking me? What’s your problem? Hmm! And why are you so bonded on finding her? You don’t love her. We both know that.

So you better don’t kill yourself. I am sure if you do. They will only bring her to you in your grave” Mr. Clark said.

“Huh, so you still have a mouth to talk. You can still talk with full confidence. I think I will have to deal with you severely “Steve said, and go to get a hot iron.

Someone could see how heated it was due to the reddish color.

“I want to go and meet my dad. Leave me alone” Dan cried.

“Common baby boy, stop crying and eat this biscuit. See I bought you many.

Dad is coming. He went to buy something” The kidnapper lied trying to pet him.

“No, you are lying. I don’t want to eat anything. Take me to my dad. I don’t like you.”Dan cried.

“Okay, I will take you to your dad, just stop crying. I promised to take you there if you eat something” The kidnapper said.

But Dan didn’t stop crying.

“You cry alot little child. Shut up or I will patch your mouth with this tape. Did I look like a nanny to you?

Why are you giving me a hærd time? That’s why I hate kidnapping rich stubborn sons like you.

You guys can cry for heaven. If you yell again.I will throw you into the river”The kidnapper threatened.

“No, I want my dad. Take me to him”Dan cried more.

“What type of child are you. if I were you dad I will have sold you out. Don’t think your cry can save you. This is a des**ted factory. Is far from where people would see you “The kidnapper said.

“Am I kidnapped?”Dan asked, and stop crying.

“How do you know. It seems so. I think you have been kidnapped. But how do you know that you’ve been kidnapped?”The kidnapper asked.

“That’s because you said abandoned factory. I have watched movies where people are kidnapped and taken to a remote area. Is that what you did to me. Huh?”Dan asked.

“I don’t know. I just kidnapped you. Just stopped crying, you will be fine. I promised “The kidnapper said rubbing his head.

“I have been kidnapped. Nooooo”Dan start to cry again and this time, it was so loud.

“What’s your problem?”The kidnapper shouted and blocked his ear with both hand.

His phone beeped. He quickly brings it out from his pocket. Is a message.

“Thank goodness! Is time to take this c*ck head back to where I picked him” The kidnapper said and heaves a sigh of relief. Dan stop crying on hearing this.

An hour later

Khalid POV

We’ve been waiting for the past one hour.

“Mr. Walter, are you sure that the message is valid. This one hour already” The police asked.

“Am not quite sure. But let’s wait for some time “I replied.

Just that minute I got a message.

“Go and get your son, beside the school”I readout.

” I got a message.He’s beside the school “I dashed out of the school compound.

I couldn’t find him. “Mr. Khalid where’s he. I think these people are taking us for a joke” The police said. I look shattered.

“He’s in that bag. Just look at your front very well” Another message came to my phone.

I saw a big traveling bag. I ran towards it and opened it.

“Dan” I muttered and took him out of the bag. I hugged him tightly.

“Dad” He managed to call and pass out on my shoulder.

“Dan, Dan. Water”I shouted, and placed his head on my lap.

“Take” Clara handled a bottle of water to me.

I sprinkle the water on his face, but he didn’t budge.

“Hospital” I took him to the car, and hurried to the hospital.

At the hospital

The doctor is already treating Dan. I just pray he gets better.

The little boy passed through alot. How I wish he is my son. But destiny chooses to be different.

I think this is the best time to know what happened with the test I did the other time.

I need to tell the doctor secretly to carry out a DNA test.

Thank Goodness, it is not the same hospital.

The doctor came out just that minute. We all hurried to him.

“Doctor, how is he?”I inquired.

“He still needs alot of rest. I think you need to be very careful about him. He’s not that strong”The doctor advised.

“Thanks, doctor. We will try our Best” Evan said even before I could say anything.

The doctor leaves. I followed him to his office.

I told him about the DNA. And he agrees to help me with the test.

Jasmine POV

“Jas, calm down. Am sure they will be here soon. Why don’t you sit down? You just keep going to and forth since morning” Dason said.

“How can I sit. His son is missing. Our first day here, and all this is already happening.

I can’t bear this. It’s disheartening ” I said without sitting.

“Your brother is right. You should try to calm down, nothing will happen to them. Just relaxed” One of his workers said.

“Okay then. Can you please call him again, if we will be able to get through him this time” I said to the lady.

I will have to call him myself. That’s if I had a phone.

“Okay,” She dialed the number.

“I pray it rings this time, I just need to know if things are okay, “I said and prayed silently.

“It’s ringing” She announced and a smile elapsed on my face.

Back to the hospital

Khalid POV

After I left the doctor’s office. Maria one of my worker’s calls came in. I picked it up just to realize it was Jasmine on the line.

“How’s everything over there?”That was the first thing she asked.

“Not pleasant, but don’t worry. Everything will be fine. You just relax and enjoy. We will be home soon” I replied.

“How am I supposed to chill, when the owner of the house isn’t home,” She said.

I was able to know from her voice that she was incredibly worried.

I try to calm her down but it was difficult. We talked for minutes while I keep telling her to calm down.

My eyes meet with that of Evan and Emma.

They glare evilly at me. Clara who was standing in a corner since we arrived at the hospital looked worried.

“You don’t have to worry. Clara will be there soon” I said and signal Clara to come.

The doctor came out after 20minute and went to his office.

I know the test is ready.

“Bye, for now, I will call you back,” I said to Jasmine and end the call.

I str-de to the doctor’s office.

“The report is ready,” The doctor said and handle it over to me.

I took it from him and opened it.
