LOVE ME TOMORROW”
+Episode EIGHT+
ifeanyi couldn’t believe it when his mother broke the news to him that evening.
“Mama are you sure? I don’t believe this.. My own Kamsi, Uto’m can never leave me for another Man!”Ifeanyi exclaimed
“ogbarasam(is it my business?)”Vero hissed and went out to the market.
Ifeanyi was disturbed. He paced around the compound in confusion. He couldn’t believe it, he didn’t even want to believe it. After all their sufferings together?
After all the promises?
Their business together?
All their plans?
He was going mad with thoughts. He quickly dashed out of the compound and ran straight to Kamsi’s house.
As he approached there, he met Kamsi and Felix with their backs against Felix’s car, gisting and laughing.
He couldn’t believe his eyes. He moved closer and they were so engrossed in the conversation that they didn’t even notice his presence.
“Kamsi!!”He scre-med
They both turned to look at him.
“Kamsi so it’s true? It’s true that you are getting married to this guy? That’s why you abandoned me? Because of this America guy you know nothing about? You left me after all the promises and plans we had? Ha! Kamsi.. This is not you at all..”
“Hey young man! Can you leave this compound in peace? For the fact that you beat me up the other time and I left you doesn’t mean I can’t deal with you thoroughly this time around..”Felix said
Kamsi buried her head on the ground without saying anything.
“Please I wasn’t talking to you.. Stay away from this matter”Ifeanyi said and looked at Kamsi
“I’m talking to you Kamsi.. Why did you do this to me? Why? Where did I get it wrong??”
“Young Man leave.. Leave here!”Felix shouted
Nkiru came out “What Is happening here?” turning to Ifeanyi, she said “Bia Nwoke m..what are you doing here? What? Will you leave here??”She shouted
“Let God be our judge if I deserve any of these things you’re doing to me”Felix said and left.
He needed to clear his head. To talk to someone because he was being suicidal.. He remembered the description Lydia had told him about her house. He traced the house and with the help of people around, he was able to locate her house.
Knock Knock
Lydia came out and saw him. She was so surprised.
“What a surprise.. Come in, come in”She said noticing his face. Looked like he has been crying or something..
She ushered him into her tiny room and he sat on the mat as there was no bed or chair there.
“What’s the matter? You don’t look fine at all?”
He didn’t reply. He just palmed his face.
“is it still about Kamsi? Look, you really have to put yourself together.. I promise you that you will smile at the end”
“Smile? I don’t think I will ever smile without Kamsi.. She’s my happiness..My joy.. My life.. What can I do without her?”Ifeanyi broke into tears..
Lydia had to start calming him down. Promising him that everything will be fine.
“I want you to bury your mind in your business and see that you make progress. Prove to her that you too can make it. The revenge for disappointment is hærd work. Work hærd for your family.. For yourself.. For your future..”She kept on advising him.
Before Ifeanyi left, Lydia made him promise her that he would stop thinking and focus more on his business.

Ifeanyi buried his wh0le time into his business. He focused more on developing himself. in fact, he stopped the “Evening only” system and made the business open from 10am-8pm.
Lydia came from time to time to help out because she couldn’t stay fully as her exams has started already.
As time went on, Ifeanyi employed two girls to help him..
And to God’s glory, his business kicked up very well.

“This clothe doesn’t fit..it wouldn’t match the colour of the day”Kamsi complained to her friend
“So what do you suggest?”Her friend asked
“Uhm.. Let’s go for Onion purple and wine.. Instead of the pink.. Felix prefers white to pink..”Kamsi said
“But purple and pink would be nice o”
“No jare.. What do you know about fashion and colours? Mgbeke like you”Kamsi teased and they laughed.
++++++++++++++++
Ifeanyi and his Mother were clearing the bushes around their houses when a big car drove into the compound.
They looked up watching the car when it came to a halt and the occup-nts came down. A man and a woman dressed nicely and expensively.
“Ify!!!!”The lady ran and embraced Ifeanyi who was perplexed. He didn’t know the Lady.
“Who are you?”He asked releasing himself from her grip.
Vero watched in amazement
“Come on! did I change that much?”She removed her back glasses.
Lo and behold it was Ifeoma!!
“Holy Moses!! Ifeoma nwa m!!”Vero scre-med and embraced Ifeoma
“Ejima m!! Is that really you? Chineke! You look so different and more beautiful!”Ifeanyi scre-med
“But who’s that man over there?”Vero asked
“Ahahn mama.. That is Jona.. Jonathan! My Fiance!!”
“Good morning mama! Ify..Ndewo!”Jonathan greeted as he came forward.
Vero opened her mouth in shock.
“Close your mouth before fly enters o!”Ifeanyi said and the others laughed
“Unu bata.. Come in.. My in-law.. Come”Vero said
Ifeoma and Jonathan exchanged puzzled glances..
++++++++++
After they had settled down, Ifeoma narrated how she went away with Jonathan who was a building contractor then but dealt on small contract. He enrolled her into a tailoring institute and paid through his nose to get her to study part-time at a private tutor.
God smiled on them when Jonathan’s friend was awarded a contract and he invited Jonathan to help him out. From there, they were paid and did the Job. The friend of the man liked the Job and gave them his own Company to build as a contract and so on..
Ifeanyi and Vero were amazed at how God changed the story of this poor man within 6 months.
As they were praising and thanking God, a knock came on the door.
Ifeanyi went to open it and saw Lydia..
“ah.. Welcome.. Come in”He said
“No No.. Please, I want to tell you something that has been bothering me for quite some time now. I just need to open up to you..”Lydia said
