The door opened and Six hefty men walked into the room with a gun pointing at Raymond.

Brahms smirked. “I don’t wish to kill you, it’s nice meeting you by the way” he said turning to leave.

Zeke also stood and followed him.

Raymond remain in his place, there was so many red lights on his chest and every other parts. fighting with them at the moment would be a death wish.

His hand fist clinched tightly, he was craving for blood.

Mrs Brown was at the kitchen preparing dinner for herself when a call came in.

“Hello” she answered.

“Mrs Brown, it’s Ray” Hearing the shaky voice coming from him, Mrs Brown frowned.

“Did something happen?” She asked dropping the spoon in her hand.

“An asshole just triggered it.. I can’t control it, Mrs Brown” he said.

“Hey listen Ray, you need to take deep breath alright.. Where are you?” She asked.

“Just outside” Raymond replied. He was sitting on a small fence alone.

“Do you have your sedative with you?”

“No.. I was.. it’s complicated” He ruffled his hair cutting the phone call. His eyes were cold. His phone rang in his hand and then he switched it off.

He got down from the place and began to walk in the dark street trying his best to avoid people.

“Raymond” someone suddenly called.

“Dahlia?” He frowned. What’s she doing here.

“I came to visit someone that lives around here” she walked closer to hold him but he shifted back.

“Are you alright?” She asked.

“I need a beer” he replied.

Maltida was busy working on her laptop when her assistant Yulia came in.

“Miss.. working hours is over” she bow slightly to her. Maltida didn’t even bother to look up.

“Leave” she said.

“One more thing miss.. Mr Lucas reject the proposal”

Hearing this, Maltida stopped what she was doing and looked up to her.

“He did?” She asked and Yulia nodded.

Maltida scoffed. “How dare he.. find out everything he does” she ordered.

“Are you perhaps asking me to stalk him?” Yulia asked.

“I feel like you don’t need this job anymore” Maltida rolled her eyes.

“I’m sorry ma’am I’ll do as you say” Yulia said and left immediately.

Maltida gaze turned cold as soon as she left.

“Many men wants me but yet I still choose to like you and you dare reject me?” She scoffed. “I’ll find out that reason and do what is needed”

~HOSPITAL~

Jake walked into hospital in haste, grabbing one of the nurse’s arm he asked. “Where’s the doctor?”

“Over there” the nurse pointing to one direction and he ran towards there immediately.

“Doc! How’s she?” He asked quickly still trying to catch his breath.

“The bills need to be paid soon, your mom situation might get worse Mr Jake..”

“I’m trying, I swear.. just give me sometime. I will get the money before the week ends just please make sure my mom is safe” Jake cut in.

“Hmm.. that’s our job Mr Jake” the doctor replied.

“Can I see her?” Jake asked.

“Sure”

One of the nurse lead Jake to a ward. A woman was laying there with an oxygen mask covering her nose. A machine was beeping beside her and her face look paled.

“Mom” Jake muttered going towards her, he held her hand and caressed it gently. She have a kidney disease. The money he found was not enough to find a donor for her.

“I’ll make sure you get well mom. I promise” He muttered kissing the back of her palm.

“Here” Dahlia said handing a bottle of beer over to Raymond. He jerked it away from her and began to drink immediately.

“What happened?” Dahlia asked.

“Mind your business” he said coldly returning the bottle to his lips again.

Dahlia kept quiet and watch him drink the beer to the last drop.

“Got another one?” His bloodshot eyes his went to her.

“In the fridge” Dahlia replied and he went towards the fridge immediately. Taking another bottle, he turned to leave but she stood before him. Her hand on his bulge.

“I miss you” she whispered gripping him hard down there. She bit her lower lips when she noticed his eyes change. Lust filled them.

“You shouldn’t have seduce me when I’m like this” His lips curved up dangerously.

Before she could understand his word, Raymond grabbed her neck harshly and take her mouth into his. It was no kiss. It was as if he was pouring his anger on her delicate lips.

Dahlia eyes widened at his actions. His grip on her neck hurts, it was as if he was knocking out every air from her lungs.

She whimpered but that gave him a chance to slide his tongue into her mouth. Biting her lips and sucking it harshly, he let go of her after he noticed the way she was trying so hard to breath.

He pushed her away and she landed on her butt. A loud gasps escaped her lips while she hold her neck.

“What the f**k Ray!” She snapped while breathing hard.

“What? You can’t handle it? Why are you so riled up huh? Stay the f**k away from me or might really ruin that thing beneath you” Raymond said walking towards the door with the bottle.

“Ray!!” Dahlia stood immediately and followed him. “Ray!!” She screamed louder but the guy kept on walking.

“Ray.. I love you!!”

This made Raymond stopped his track and turned to her. He raised his brow not sure of what he just heard.

“I love you alright? I do love you so much Ray, I fell in love with you right from the start. I broke up with my ex just to be with but you aren’t seeing it.. can we be a thing.. for real?” She asked.

“A thing? You mean like a date?” He asked as if mocking her but she nodded her head. A throaty chuckle left his lips as he walked towards her. He held her lips and smiled.

Thinking he was about to kiss her, Dahlia thought her request was granted not until he heard him spoke.

“Are you insane?” He scoffed. “A date? Do you actually think I would date someone, that’s literally the last thing I would do” his hand left her Chin then drew his lips towards her ear. “It’s nice f*cking you Dahlia, never show your face to me ever again”

Dahlia bit her lips trying to hold her tears. Anger overwhelmed her and she hit him on the chest. Raymond grabbed her arm twist it behind her while holding her neck. He made sure not to twist her arm too much.

“Touch me again and then I’ll break the promise of not hiting girls” his warned dangerously before pushing her away. He left without looking at her.

“Ahhhh!!!!” Dahlia screamed feeling humiliated.

The class just ended, Elsa faced Charlie.

“What’s with the smile today.. did you win a lottery?” She asked.

“No.. Leonard asked me if we can have lunch together” she smiled brightly.

“Finally Charlie.. should I call you both couples now?” She asked.

“We’re still working on that. He is such a nice guy really.. I like him a lot”

“Confess then”

“Argh.. the male are the one to confess first” Charlie rolled her eyes.

“It doesn’t matter, female do confess first sometimes”

“And most of them get rejected”

They were interupted by a hiss from someone behind. It was Dahlia, her lower lips was slightly hurt. She stood and left the class.

“What’s with her?” Charlie.

“Who knows” Elsa replied.

~RESTURANT~

Elsa glanced at her phone for the eleventh time since the lunch started. She was sitting beside Lucas.

“Is everything alright?” Lucas asked noticing her disturbed expression.

“Not really, I’m just worried about my sister” she replied.

“You have a sister? And you never told me about it” he said.

“Sorry, it didn’t cross my mind”

“Is she okay?”

“I don’t know, my Uncle said her phone got spoilt. I haven’t heard from her since yesterday and I’m getting worried.. I don’t like this feeling Lucas” she said.

“You should report to the police since you feel this way” he suggested.

“Yeah, I should” she nodded.

“So how’s your preparation for the audition?” He asked.

“All good” she replied.

Lucas smile disappeared seeing five people entering the restaurant. Raymond, Jake, Brielle, Natasha and her boyfriend; Lake. Elsa also spot them and sighed.

Brielle hand was on his shoulder rubbing her body against him as they order their lunch.

“Elsa!” Natasha smiled brightly but it only turned into a smug when she saw Lucas.

Raymond also looked at her hearing her name. His dark gaze moved from her to Lucas.

Natasha ran towards them and sat beside her.

“What are you doing here?” Elsa asked.

“We eat lunch here sometime” she replied looking at Lucas “Professor make sure you treat my friend good okay?” Natasha said playfully.

“Natasha” Elsa eyes widened while Lucas only smiled.

“I’ll try my best” Lucas replied and Elsa looked at him. someone cleared his throat sitting across him. His gaze wasn’t friendly as he stared at the two of them.

Brielle also sat beside him, she was wearing a bitchy cloth as usual.

“Hey pretty” Jake smiled lovely sitting beside Brielle. He bow his head a little at Lucas.

Lake sat beside Natasha. The seat huge and was like a circle.

Elsa smiled at everyone on the seat but it only disappeared when it settled on Raymond. His gaze was damn cold.

‘Why is he staring at me like that?’ She asked herself inwardly.

“I wonder why Elsa is here with Mr Professor” Jake grin.

“Yeah! I wonder!” Came a cold voice from Raymond. Elsa rolled her eyes and looked at Jake.

“Lucas actually did something for me so I decided to pay him back with a lunch” Elsa explained briefly obviously not pleased with Raymond tone.

“You mean on bed?” Raymond asked rudely.

“Excuse me?”

“You’re excused”

“You don’t have to be rude Ray” Lucas interfere.

“I wasn’t referring to you Prof” he said.

“Geez Ray” Natasha sighed.

“Sorry if I cross my line but I never expected you to have so many taste Elsa, You act like a saint” Raymond said.

“Ray.. that’s enough” Jake said and he finally kept quiet. He placed his arm around Brielle shoulder with a smug on his face.

Elsa was breathing in anger as she scoffed.

“We can leave if you’re uncomfortable” Elsa whispered to Lucas. Unknown to her Raymond heard it.

“No it’s fine” Lucas smiled.

Their order came in and they all grabbed theirs. Elsa was eating slowly, she lost her appetite already.

Jake was making everyone laugh at his joke, Lake too. Lucas also joined but only two people were not in the mood as they kept glancing at each every seconds.

She won’t lie. The kiss from that night was still lingering in her mind. It was as if it happened some minutes ago. No one had ever kissed her that way.

“It’s nice being with you guys.. really, I have to go now. I have a class to lecture” he said standing on his feet.

“It’s nice being with you Prof” Lake said

“So Elsa” Raymond suddenly called causing Elsa to stop breathing. What’s with this guy really? She raised her gaze to him.

“You’re not thinking about that night, are you?” He asked causing everyone to get curious.

‘Does he have to do this?’ Elsa thought.

“What night are you talking about?” Natasha asked.

“The bonfire, yunno she followed me to the backyard and somehow got hurt, I treat her wound and then..”

“What is your problem Ray?” Elsa cut in. Does he have to do this? She doesn’t want anyone to know what happened, especially Lucas. “What do you want?”

“I just wanna talk” Raymond replied.

“There’s nothing for you and I to talk about” Elsa said.

“Should I spit it out then?” He asked having a smirk on his face.

Others only stared at them. Lucas blinked having a slight idea on what might have happened that night.

“I’ll be leaving” he repeated breaking the silence.

“I’ll accompany you” Elsa said.

“Oh no.. thanks Elsa. Just get prepared for the class tomorrow” Lucas smiled before leaving the restaurant.

Elsa closed her eyes in annoyance.

“Well, don’t tell me you two..” Brielle words stuck back in her throat when Raymond looked at her.

Elsa slammed her hand on the table and stood to leave. Raymond followed her.

By the time she got out, Lucas left already. She sighed again, she knows Lucas have a feeling for her but she wasn’t sure of hers yet.

“Elsa” she heard the voice she didn’t which to hear and began to walk away.

“Elsa” Raymond’s took a long strode grabbing her arm. She jerk her arm away and turned to face him.

“What do you want from me!” She yelled.

“I told you already” he replied.

“What do you wanna talk about?”

“I don’t know.. I just wanna talk to you” he shrugged.

“You’re insane.. you really are” she shook her head.

“Is it because I ruined your date. I never thought you’d sleep with a professor. Lucas is not the kind of guy you should hang out with..

He didn’t finish his word when a slap land on his face. She raised her hand to slap him again but he held it. He shot a deadly glare at her but she didn’t flinch. All she felt was anger towards this guy.

“Never do that” he warned.

“I will and I’ll always do, cus you’re the most horrible person I’ve ever met in my life, I just wish you could just disappear forever Ray. What kind of guy loves ruining ones moods just for pleasure? What do you want from me? Why can’t just let me be?!” Elsa yelled, she was frustrated. How could he say such a thing?

“I.. I.. am..” He couldn’t find his words, seeing her hurt face triggered something in him. Maybe he went to far.

She jerk her arm away from him and glared while gritting her teeth.

“I hate you!!!” she spat leaving while he only watch from his spot with many feelings driving into him.
