“Have a seat” Lucas said to Sophia as she stared around her.
Judging by the interior of the club, you can tell that it’s very expensive and the people dancing downstairs screamed money too.
A thought came to mind and a smile appeared on her face.
“Is some thing funny?” Lucas who notice the smile asked.
“It’s just that am wondering how a guy like the boss met Tiffany and fell for her” she replied.
“Care to elaborate on the ‘a guy like the boss’ part?” Lucas asked.
“It’s just that being here, in this fancy place, it makes me wonder why he didn’t pick a girl from his social circle but chose Tiffany” she explained.
“That’s what we call love, people tend to act for love and that’s what Frederick did. He saw her and pictured her as his wife and succeeded in making her his, he simply followed his heart so there’s no social class in this” Lucas told her.
The waiter arrived with their drinks, Sophia was about to drink hers when Lucas spoke.
“If am to follow my heart then you will be in my suite, right in my bed and in my arms”
She turned to stare at him thinking it to be a joke but on seeing the smouldering passion in his eyes, she looked away wondering why she was finding it hard to breathe.
“That’s a expensive joke” she said lightly.
“And who told you that am joking, I meant what I said. I really find you attractive and irresistible ” he said truthfully.
“Why would you when you’ve got lots of girls and….”
“Those girls don’t make me feel what I feel when am with you. I think you are the girl have been waiting for ” he said taking hold of her hand but she pulled away.
“I…I…need to…use the rest room” She stuttered as she quickly got out of her seat.
“Cute” Lucas murmured as he watch her walk off.
“Take a deep breath and control yourself ” Sophia whispered as she held onto her cheek.
“He’s just teasing you and you should know better than to fall for a playboy” she said again.
She left the rest room chanting the playboy word in her head when a man walk up to her.
“Hey gorgeous ” he called and when Sophia ignored him, he pulled her by the arm and push her against the wall.
“What are you doing?” Sophia yelled at him.
“Playing hard to get when you kept giving me signs downstairs” the man said softly.
“Look, you are drunk and so I suggest you find a place to rest for a while and…”,
“Shut up! How dare you tell me am drunk, you need to be taught a lesson ” He said as he began pulling her to the male rest room.
“Let go of me!” Sophia kept screaming as she hit her purse on him but he didn’t budge.
Lucas arrived on time to pull the scum away from Sophia adding a punch on his face.
“Arrrghh….are you crazy”He cried out holding onto his face.
“That’s for touching my girl, you creep!” Lucas called which got Sophia starring at him.
Taking hold of her hand, he went back to collect their things and it wasn’t until they were in his car that he spoke to her.
“Are you okay? He didn’t touch you right?” He asked looking worried and that some how touch her heart.
“Am fine” she replied as she held onto his hand.
“Thank God I got there on time, if some one like that approach you again just run away” he advised which got her nodding.
A knock on the car wind screen got them looking outside.
Sophia saw five thugs holding sticks and rods and with them is the man Lucas had punch earlier.
“Let’s leave” Sophia said but Lucas took hold of her hand instead.
“People like them won’t stop even if we are to leave so the best thing we can do is to face them now. Under no circumstance must you come out of the car, I will be right back” he said ignoring Sophia protest.
She stayed in his car just like he ordered but when she saw the thugs attack him, she got out of the car quickly.
By now Lucas was fighting back, not wanting to complicate things, she decided to call the police .
After the call was made, she looked up only to see the five thugs on the floor, all groaning in pain.
“Get away from me!” The man who had brought the thug cried out as Lucas walk towards him.
Pulling him by the collar, Lucas gave him another punch which got him fainting.
Sophia suppress the laughter that threatened to spill when Lucas came towards her.
“Are you okay?” She asked worriedly.
“I told you not to leave the car” he reproach softly.
“How can I? When those thugs could have…. Arrrgh!” She let out a scream when she saw blood trickling down his fore head.
“I feel dizzy” he murmured as he fell into her arms.
“Wake up Lucas! Wake up!” Sophia cried as she held onto him wondering what to do next.

As soon as Kelvin stop his bike, Brianna got off of it, staggering a bit.
“Did you enjoy the ride?” Kelvin asked.
“Don’t you ever ask me to ride that with you again!” She yelled at him as she drew in a few deep breath.
“Is it that bad?” Kelvin asked.
“It is! Everything about you is bad, I don’t even know why I let you bully me into coming here” Brianna let out in anger.
“Stop grumbling and check out the view” Kelvin said as he pulled her towards the bridge guardrail.
Brianna couldn’t help but to admire the night sky.
“It’s enchanting” her face lit with happiness.
Pulling out her phone she began taking pictures which got Kelvin starring at her.

He kept starring until she spoke, jolting him back to the present moment.
“How on earth did you find this place?” She asked.
“From a friend. I got to know about it from a friend and each time Tiffany gets crazy, I run away from home and come here to get it’s peace and beauty” Kelvin replied breathing in the fresh air.
“You must be happy now that Tiffany is married to my brother, no more craziness from her side” Brianna said.
“Yes, am happy and I keep wondering when you will agree to marry me too” he said slowly.
“There’s no end to your jokes right?”
“Am not joking” he replied trying to look serious but Brianna could see through him.
“What exactly do you want from me and don’t you dare say that you want to date me cause it will be a lie” Brianna told him which got him smiling nervously.
“That’s exactly what I want and I know that you don’t feel the same way but give me a chance to show you that I mean what I say” he said.
“Go on a date with me, give me a chance to prove to you that am crazy about you” He added as he push back a strand of her hair.
“Kelvin you know we are …”
“Don’t refuse, for once don’t let your mind decide for you, let your heart decide”
“My heart and mind are both thinking the same which is no” Brianna said turning to leave but he pulled her back.
“Just go out with me on the date, common” he begged.
“Fine then. I will go with you for just one date” Brianna replied which got him saying a loud yes.
“You won’t regret it, I promise you” he said as he went to make a phone call.
“You sure will regret it cause I plan to make you hate me” Brianna muttered as she also pulled out her phone.
“Ways to make a guy hate a girl he goes out on a date with ” she muttered even as she search for her answers on the net.

NEXT DAY ~ RESORT
Tiffany stood at the beach watching other guest in the resort do their thing while waiting for Frederick to show up.
She saw a little girl of three running on the thick sand until she fell on her feet.
Tiffany quickly went to the girl to help her and she had a hard time in stopping the girl tears.
Unknown to her Frederick had arrive and instead of letting her know if his arrival, he chose to watch her while she pacify the little girl.
“A lollipop? A toy? What about ice cream? Stop crying ” Tiffany said to the crying kid.
“I want mommy” the girl cried out.
“I would have love to take you to mommy but I don’t know where your mom is” Tiffany muttered, her gaze moving around the area.
“Find me mommy, find me mommy” the little girl cried as she gave Tiffany a hug.
“Lily! Lily” A lady called as she ran towards them.
“Where on earth did you go to? Have been searching for you” the lady said as she gave her daughter a hug.
“Thank you, I only went to get her some thing to eat, I never knew that she will run off” the lady said as she thank Tiffany.
“It’s okay just keep watch on her, though the resort might be private it’s still dangerous for her to walk around alone” Tiffany said as she ruffled the child hair.
“When have you been standing there?” Tiffany asked on seeing Frederick.
“Ever since you tried to bribe the little girl with goodies” he replied as he pulled her into his arms.
“She fell while running and I tried to pacify her”
“You did an excellent job. Seeing you with the kid got me thinking about our future” he said as he kiss her on the forehead.
“What about our future?”
“Well it’s about….let me tell you about that when we get home. We’ve got a tour to finish ” he said instead.
The tour took the rest of the day and it was evening time that the couple return to their room.
“Am famish, let me cook some thing for us” Tiffany said as she made a move to the kitchen but Frederick pulled her back.
“Am hungry but not for food but for you” He said kissing her on the neck.
“Frederick, we’ve got to eat ” Tiffany said as he lifted her into his arms.
“Later, this is more important” he replied as he carried her to their bed room.
Setting her on her feet, he took her lips in his.
“Remember me telling you about our future?” He ask in between kisses.
“Ugh” Tiffany replied as she pulled his shirt open.
“I want us to have a child” he whispered into her ear and that got her standing still.
“I want a little Tiffany or a little Frederick, seeing you with that little girl earlier have woke up the parental urge in me so let’s make a baby ” he said winking at her.
He tried to kiss her again but Tiffany pulled away from him.
“What’s wrong?” He asked.
“I….I don’t think it’s the right time for us to have a child” she replied.
“But we are married and it’s only right that we give birth to children”
“I know that, I know it’s my duty to give you the children you want but am not ready for that ” she said cutting him off.
“So when do you intend to be ready?” Frederick asked.
“I don’t know, let’s just give it time, we just got married, let’s spend more time together before thinking of having kids” she replied which got him nodding In reply.
“Fine then, Let’s give our selves some time” Frederick said in agreement.
He was about to kiss her when she pulled out of his arms.
“I will go and make our dinner” she said as she quickly left the room.

NIGHT TIME
Frederick woke up only to find the space beside him empty.
Where’s Tiffany? He thought as he got out of bed going in search of her.
After having their dinner, she had hurried off to bed to sleep while he finished some pending business.
She was sleeping peacefully on the bed when he joined her and now she’s gone.
He walk out of their room only to see her sleeping soundly on the couch.
Letting out a sigh, he went to her and was about lifting her into his arms when she woke up.
“Why aren’t you sleeping in our room?”, Frederick asked.
“This place looks more comfy” she replied as she let out a yawn.
“I know when you lie and right now you are telling a lie, how about saying the truth” Frederick asked slowly.
“Since we’ve decided not to have kids, it’s best that we stay away from each other” she replied.
“What?”
“What I mean is that we shouldn’t get intimate until I get a birth control pill ” she blurted.
“Do we really have to do this?” Frederick asked and she gave a nod.
“I don’t trust you. Once I get into bed with you, we might end up making love and I don’t want that” she said honestly.
“After everything we’ve been through, you still don’t trust me?” Frederick asked and that got her looking at him.
“I didn’t mean that, what I meant is that we….”
“Forget it, good night” he said cutting her off.
She stood up wanting to explain what she meant to him but decided not to.
“It’s not that I don’t trust you, it’s myself that I don’t trust. One touch from you makes me want more and I don’t want that. Am sorry” she whispered starring at the closed door.
She woke up the next day due to the noise coming from outside and what she saw next got her eyes widening in shock.
“What’s going on?” She asked.
“Honey moon is over. Get your things ready, we are going home ”
