By the time Lily got downstairs,Ace was gone.
“Seriously Lily?” Madam Hope voice came from the back and she turned.
“You….were here?” Lily asked,itching her hair which made madam Hope burst into laughter.
“You’re becoming something else,come here” She said and Lily walked over to her with a pout.
“I wasn’t joking tho” She mumbled.
“Really?”
Lily nodded.
Madam Hope gave her a long stare and touched her face.
“You look quite pale” She muttered.
“Pale? Like,I’m going to be sick?” Lily asked.
“Not that,I will get you something to eat. Come on,you don’t have to scream after sir Ace because of that” Madam Hope said as she held Lily’s hand into the kitchen.
“I want alot of chicken with sauce this morning” Lily said.
“Okay” Madam Hope said and brought out a chicken from the preserver.
Lily walked to the fruit bowl and took a bunch of banana,she sat down and began eating, watching as madam Hope prepared breakfast.

PENTHOUSE**
“Welcome Boss!” The guards greeted in unity as Ace got down from his car,he made a quick nod before running inside,he went straight to Loretto’s office,he opened the door and closed it loudly.
Loretto looked up and rest on his seat properly.
“You’re here” he said.
Ace looked at the men behind Loretto and they immediately went out. Ace moved closer to him and brought out his phone.
“What does this mean?” He asked,showing Loretto the text from him.
Loretto smirked.
“What do you think it is?” He asked.
“I won’t be here if I understand the f**k you’re saying!!” Ace yelled.
“Don’t yell at me!!” Loretto yelled back and hit his fist on the table.
“How dare you fall in love with that girl after everything I told you?!! How dare you?” He yelled and stood up,standing before Ace.
“Who said I’m in love with her?” Ace asked and Loretto punched him right in the face,breaking his lips.
“Don’t you f**king lie to me” he said.
Ace wiped his bloody lips and faced Loretto back.
“Don’t touch her” He muttered.
“What?” Loretto gave him am angry look.
“I mean it father,don’t f**king touch her” Ace muttered and turned toward the door.
“You’re only getting her into danger,even if I decide to free her,others will come for her,but sorry I’m not going to spare her,get rid of her yourself or I do it for you” Loretto said.

GROCERY STALL**
“I’m so glad you brought me with you today” Lily smiled.
“You said you were bored” Madam Hope said and Lily nodded.
They continue picking the things needed into the trolley.
“Some cabbage please,I want chicken salad for dinner” Lily said,taking the huge cabbage.
“What’s with you and chicken today?” Madam Hope chuckled.
“I don’t know either,I just feel like eating it” Lily grinned.
“Let’s take one more,Sir Ace would love it” Madam Hope said,taking another one.
“Are we done??” Lily asked madam Hope who was beginning to push the trolley away.
“Yeah,we should go and pay”
“I need to use the restroom” Lily suddenly said.
“Fine,go on fast and meet me here,I will be waiting” Madam Hope said.
Lily turned toward the restroom after getting direction from one of the workers.
She entered the restroom,after she was done,she came out but all of a sudden,her nose was covered from behind.
“Hmm mm!!!!” She screamed into the handkerchief while struggling from the grip but she couldn’t,soon she fell unconscious and was carried away.

Back inside the store,madam Hope have been waiting for quite some minutes without seeing Lily.
“Where is she??” She wondered and asked the attendants where the restroom is.
“This way ma’am” Someone led her and madam Hope followed.
They got to the restroom and it was empty,the second one was empty too.
“No…..no” madam Hope immediately rushed outside,Roger was still waiting while leaning on the car.
“Is Lily here?” Madam Hope asked.
“She didn’t come outside,why?” Roger asked.
“Ahhhh!!!!!” Madam Hope screamed,her two hands on her head.
“What’s wrong?” Roger asked in confusion.
“I can’t find her,she’s not in the store” Madam Hope broke into tears and Roger’s eyes widened. Walter immediately came out of the car and rushed into the store with Roger to search for Lily.

Lily woke up immediately the water splashes all over her face,her eyes were blurry at first as she tried looking around the strange dark room, The only reflection in the room was coming from the only light bulb in there,she could see numbers of men looking so cold and dangerously,holding guns.
‘What am I doing here? Who are they??’ She thought and that was when she realized,she have been abducted!
She was tied on a seat,her two hands tied together,same with her legs too.
The men said nothing to her at all. Minutes later,the door opened and a masked guy came in,but strangely even with the mask he looks so familiar.
The masked guy walked straight to stand right before Lily and them removed his mask.
A loud gasp escaped Lily’s mouth the moment she saw the face behind the mask.
“L…..Leo…Leo??” She called but the look on Leo’s face was different from the one she’s used to,what is going on? He looks so scary.
“Is this a prank??” Lily asked.
Leo scoffed and dragged a seat closer,he sat opposite Lily and brought out a weed wrap and a lighter.
Lily couldn’t believe her eyes when he started smoking.
“You…..you…smoke??” She asked in total shock.
“I don’t think I have any reason to hide myself anymore,you wouldn’t choose me over him no mater how I try” Leo said.
“What are you talking about? What is the meaning of this,who Are you?? You’re not Leo….you’re not” Lily said,shaking her head.
“I’m glad you trust me so much,sorry to disappoint you but,this is the real me” Leo smirked.
“Real you??”
“A killer” Leo smirked and Lily gasped.
“I never wanted to do this….if only you never confessed that the bastard is your husband,then what about me? A push over?? I’ve being beside you for f**king five years!!!” He yelled and Lily flinched in fear.
“How dare you fall in love with a stranger you barely know?!!”
“We were best friends…..”
“F**k that friendship,and,you didn’t fall in love with just anyone but my enemy?? Someone I’ve been dying to kill??” Leo chuckled.
Lily shook her head.
“I don’t believe you….you’re not Leo. My Leo isn’t a killer” she said in tears.
“Your Leo??” Leo laughed and Lily swallowed.
“I didn’t bring you here for this,I have nothing to do with you,I want him,not you” Leo said and Lily immediately shook her head.
“Don’t do anything to him,don’t hurt him….”
“I hate it when you worry about him!!” Leo yelled and she kept quiet.
“You can only become mine after I kill him” He muttered
“I won’t be yours even after these!! So please stop!! Come back to your sense Let please!!” Lily cried.
Leo got up and grabbed her hair angrily
“Ahh!” Lily whined painfully.
“Don’t make me change my mind and kill you first” he muttered.
“You didn’t stay with me for five years to kill me,I trust you Leo,you can’t hurt me” Lily muttered,tears rolling down her eyes.
Leo let go of her and cracked up.
“The boldness” He muttered and sat down again,he took Lily’s phone and unlocked it.
“I see we are really best friends,I know your password” he smirked.
“What did you save his number with??” He asked.
“Don’t call him” Lily shook his head.
“Answer me!!” Leo yelled and shot his gun in the air,Lily’s heart started racing in fear. .
“Ice!” She screamed tearfully.

WHITE HOUSE**
Ace drove in roughly,Madam Hope,Roger,Walter and other guards immediately stood properly.
“What the f**k were you telling me on phone?” Ace asked.
Madam Hope immediately fell on her knees.
“It was my fault!” She broke into tears.
“Why did you come with without finding her?” Ace ignored madam Hope and faced Roger.
“What the f**k is your job exactly?!! Follow her every damn where she goes!!!” He yelled angrily.
“I’m sorry boss” Roger said in fear.
Ace was about talking again when his phone suddenly rang,he checked and it was Lily,he answered the call immediately
“Where are you…..”
“Long time no see” Leo interrupted him.
“You bastard” Ace muttered.
“You have just ten minutes to come here if you want to meet her alive” Leo said.
“No Ice!! Don’t come!” Lily screamed from the background.
“Shut up!” Leo yelled at her and Ace fold his fist.
“Don’t hurt her” he said.
“That will depend on your movement,come here alone without any weapon and I will think about approving your request..the location has been sent” Leo said and hung up.
“Stay back y’all” Ace said to the guards and immediately rushed into his car and drove off.
“Follow the boss….secretly” Roger ordered and the guards also entered the cars and left.
Madam Hope was still crying on the ground.
“Be fine.. Please” she muttered.

“He should be here anytime soon” Leo smirked,checking the time.
Lily was in tears on the seat she was on,she was still finding it hard to believe. Is this the reason why Ace always tell her to stay away from Leo??
“Ace please don’t come” she said inwardly,the tears in her eyes made her vision blurry.
Some seconds later,two boys came in.
“He’s here boss” They said and almost immediately Across was dragged into the room.
“Ice!!” Lily screamed,shaking the seat with all her power,more tears falling from her eyes.
The boys kicked Ace’s legs and he fell on his knees,he didn’t make any attempt to fight back.
“I’m here now,let her go” Ace said to Leo.
“No!” Lily cried out.
Leo chuckled and moved closer to Ace.
“Wouldn’t it be better if she watch her precious husband dying right in front of her??….”
“You f**king promised to let her go once I’m here” Ace said,glaring at Leo even though he was talking calmly.
“I hate the look on your face” Leo muttered and started hitting Ace’s face with heavy punch,the boys held Ace’s hands behind so he couldn’t fight back.
“No!!!! Please!!! Ace!!!” Lily started screaming,shaking the seat trying to free herself but all to no avail.
By the time Leo was done,Ace’s face was covered with blood. Blood coming from his nose and mouth also.
“Ace” Lily muttered,breathlessly as she watched the scene in front of her. She didn’t even notice she was also bleeding,her dress was already covered with blood
Leo smirked and pulled out his gun.
“You should have let go of her when I was still patient” He muttered,pointing the gun at Ace.
Without thinking,he shot at Ace twice and he dropped on the floor lifelessly.
“No!!!” Lily screamed out and also fell unconscious.
