I sat on my office sketching plans of hiw we would evacuate to the other side of tge country and massacre the people there

My dad was a General fighting for the country and all but then, he got murdered in cold blood in this lands and am gonna make them pay for his death

But i was suprised to find out he was married to Tessy… Tessy my childhood friend
The door opened and it was fergon, my soldier

I snapped my head at him

I turned to miles
He glanced at lucy before leaving

We left the tent on the way out a man stopped in front of us
I was startled at first but comported my self… He handed miles a bottle

I met a doctor there and a nurse

I quickly emptied the bottle in Angelo’s mouth
He remained still
“Let’s wait fir sometime “the doc said we agreed
After two hours, he woke up!!!!
I embraced him happily
“Angelo, you’re gonna retire today, no more war for you “I said
He chuckled

Angelo’s pov
Pregnant Tessy and I were asleep in the night when she suddenly began panicking and scre-ming
I woke up to see what was wrong
Shit! Her water had broken
“Calm down babe… “I said trying to calm her down
She grabbed my by my collar
“Calm down?! “She yelled “are you insane?!!! ”
I helped her up as we headed out if the room
She was panicking and crying at once
I had to carry her even though it was really difficult
I gently kept her at the back seat of the car
I was gonna go to the stirring wheel when she held me by my shirt
I stopped and looked at her
“Angelo, there’s no need… Am not gonna make it… Just shoot me… The pain’s too much… Please I beg you to shoot me… Pls ”

I felt like I would explode any minute… The baby… I could feel the tiny demon moving in my belly
I threw my head backwards cussing the day I was born
Angelo held my hand
“You can do this Tessy… He said
I shook my head
“Please forgive me Angelo… “I said crying
I was loosing hope
Angelo shut the door of the car and rushed to the drivers seat
The car began moving in a rough speed
I kept gro-ning
“Pls… End the pain Angelo”I cried ” stop the pain… ”
He ignored me and focused on driving
I slowly laid on the seat… Am going… I can see myself going.. Death is near
All I could do was hum the song ? my mom and dad would sing to me before I go to sleep…

We arrived at the hospital and she was rushed to the ER
“If she doesn’t wake up, am afraid we’ll have to perform an operation on her “the doctor said
I glanced at sleeping Tessy
“Okay… “I mouthed before they closed the door locking me out

A nurse came into the waiting room yawning oh, need I forget it was still early in the morning…
“Patient Tessy Hughes delivered… “She said then rubbed her eyes

I stepped into a room to see Tessy lying on the bed with Ashley beside her

My eyes darted to her arm… My baby!
I walked to her and she handed me the baby

So tiny and cute

Tessy began staring at the baby… She couldn’t take her eyes of him

Today is Gino’s final trial… Either he goes to jail or he gets shot by the firing squad
The head judge hit the jury, and he cleared his throat

I turned to look at Angelo who was just staring at Gino who stood at the accused bar
Gino had his eyes closed and hands at his back
“I hereby sentence Gino Daine to 15 years in prison with first two years of hærd labour “the judge said
Angelo rubbed his eyes and stood up walking out of the court
I quickly followed
“He should be dead Tessy “he said backing me

“Let’s forget him then… We have better things to think about… “He said and held my hand
He pulled me down the stairs
Jeremy kept giggling
We got to our car and entered
He began driving, changing routes

We stopped at a huge building, Ashley was by the door

Then Angelo took me up the elevator….
After a while, we arrived at the roof top
It was lit with hanging lights all over

I took them off
Then a music began
“You asked me if I had a sense of humor for dancing… Let’s dance… “He said
