Episode 12
NORMANI POV.
I didn’t say anything after my breakdown and just kept quite while he washed my body and hair clean.
He got out and dried himself then he lifted me out of the bath and dried me. He
dressed me in one of his shirt and boxers before laying me back on the bed. He went back into the dressing room before coming in out, wearing a black shirt and p-nts.
“I will get Zoey to bring breakfast for you and a advil, along with a birth control
pill.”
“I’m not hungry” I whispered, I didn’t really feel like having anything right now or
I might throw up. He sighed sitting at the other side of the bed.
“You need to eat, breakfast is essentially Mani.” He said again, trying to convince me to eat.
“I’m tired, I just want to sleep some more. I’m not hungry,” I said, dismissing his words.
“Fine, I will get Zoey to bring up something for you later,” he said, clearly frustrated.I closed my eyes when I saw him waIk out of the room. I was nearly falling asleep until felt something cold pressed against my cheek. I literally jumped due to the s-nsation as my eyes snap open.
“Does it hurt so bad.” Sin questioned with a sorrowful expression, placing a cloth of ice block against my cheek and he
gently car-ss my bruised and swollen face. I didn’t bother replying him as I felt
numb, right now I couldn’t feel anything
again, i was tired of crying and feeling pity for myself. I just want to sleep and never wake up again.
“I need to reduce the swelling and redness from your face. I hate seeing you like this, you just won’t understand,” he just
kept talking like he was talking to himseIf, because what ever he said made no sense. I kept my gaze cast down to the floor.
“There, much better.” He examined my face closely.
“Look at me love,” he almostbegged, I didn’t bother moving my eyesfrom the floor and didn’t bother acknowledging his presence. He let out a sigh, he opened his month by say something but stopped.
“I left a painkiller and the birth control pills, have them before you sleep.” He paused, waiting for me to reply but was welcomed with silent.
” I will leave you to rest, if you need anything ask Zoey,” he says after a few minutes, his voice low and dejected. He stood up from the bed, walking out of the room. I stretched my hands to table beside the bed, talking the glass of water along with the pills.
I let out a sigh as my eyes shot close, welcoming the darkness. I woke up at noon, a little bit better and refreshed. Sin was nowhere in sight and I was relieved. I got up from the bed and my body still hurt like hell, i was still sore between my legs but not like this morning.
I was still wearing Sin’s shirt and boxers, i got to the door and peaked out.There
was no one and I stepped outside.
I wander the hall of the mansion, I didn’t
really taken in how beautiful the mansion is, last time. It had many art work and the decor was amazing. Whoever decorated the mansion was a pro. I went down the grand staircase and waIked into the direction I assume would be the kitchen. My mouth water at the amazing aroma that filled the air. I was really hungry now that I was not weighed down by emotions, on entering the kitchen, my eyes landed on a plate of spaghetti meatballs and my knight in shining armor.
Zoey.
She was tiding up the kitchen counter, her face lit up when her eyes landed on
me.
“Hi mani” Zoey said eagerly.
“Hi”I smiled. despite the situation, I really missed her.
“You are finally awake” she beamed,” I was about to bring the food up to the room”
“Thanks”
“its nothing, that’s what l’m paid for. Sin
said you needed rest, so I wasn’t allowed to see you.” She said, pity clear on her
face.
“I’m fine” I said giving my best fake smile. I took a sit at the kitchen counter and dive into a plate of spaghetti meatball.
Even though Zoey was young, she was very skilled in the kitchen. She told me that the learnt from her mom right before she died. She didn’t know who her father was but after her mothers death, Sin took her in and cared for her. Her way of repaying him was to help with cookingand cleaning of his mansion. I continued eating silently, not wanting to disturb her while she tidy up the kitchen. I looked up just as Sin entered into the kitchen, his shirt had button opened showing his toned chest.
He muttered something to Zoey and she replied in Italian, which resulted to him nodding his head. I really need to learn the language. She served him a plate of spaghetti meatball, his eyes never bothered to reach my direction. He took the plate of food from Zoey and walked out of the kitchen.
I didn’t know what I was feeling, I didn’t
want him anywhere near me and at the
same time feel dejected when he doesnt give me attention. I was done eating,there were a few questions that I wanted to ask Zoey but I was not sure if she knew the answer. She has been living with
Sin for three years and I was curious about what he does. I knew for a fact that he was dangerous but I still don’t know anything about him or about his family.
“Do you know anything about Sin and his family?”
She took a sit at the chair beside me.
“Of course I do, do you have any questions?” I bit my l-ips.
“I want to know about them, you know about them. Sin hasn’t told me anything”
She sat straight in her chair.
“I’ll be happy to help, Sin comes from the Violante Family and they are one of the richest most influential family in italy, if not the world. Sin is the first son out of three children. They are also the most powerful mafia family.”
As those words came out of her mouth i
literally choked on my own saliva, I knew he had to be in something shady but
Mafia. That sent chill down my body. The Violante family originated in Italy. The family was found in 1974, they started in Italy and owned over 85% of it at that time. Then in 1979 they went on to own the wh0le state of New York. The family made most of their money through drug trafficking but they have vip clubs and restaurants and many other businesses.
They still sell drugs till this day and their family symbol is a skull with a V flame at the middle. Their current leader is Nikolai Violenta also known as Sin,age 26. He was born in Italy, September 8 1994. His mother’s name is Serena De-Luca. She came from a prestigious family in ltaly, she was twenty one when she gave birth to Sin. His father’s name was Alexander Violenta, he was twenty nine when Sin was born. Serena and Alexander were in an arranged marriage though Serena wanted nothing to do with the mafia family, she still loved Alexander. She gave birth to the twins, Arizona and Marcellus five years after Sin. At the age of six, sin was taught how to use a gun,he went to a private school for only the rich and famous while being taught about the mafia. Sin best friend and right hand man is Luca Ramirez. His first language was Italian but he learnt English fluently at the age of eleven. At the age of fifteen Sin took over the family business after his dad was killed, no one knows the full story of his father’s death except for Sin. He was the only one there
at that time, we don’t know what happened but Sin changed after that accident. He has been in charge of his family at a
young age, no one was allowed to call
him by his name except for Sin, unless they were ready to face the repercussions. The family has only one enemy which
is the rom-nov family, the two family have been rivals from the beginning.That is the story of the Violante family.” Zoey said picking up my plate and washed it out
“Wow… You’re like a human Wikipedia,” I stared at her in astonishment.
She laughed, “I did my research when I
first started working here.” After listening to Sin story, I felt bad for him. Having such a burden being placed on him at a young age, most be very exhausting. I know what its like to loosea loved one, I was curious about what really happened for him to change like Zoey said.
I stayed with Zoey for an hour as we talked about various things, before exploring the mansion and came across an enormous library. i spent the right of the day reading different novels, I had my diner at the library as i was too engrossed with the novel i was reading.

I gro-ned and rolled over shielding myself from the sun. I didn’t remember falling asleep last night. I looked around the room with a frown. How did I get here, the last thing I remembered was reading
at the library. I shrugged and grabbed a
pillow and throwing over my face, Sin
muscular scent lingered on the pillow. I
slowly peeled the pillow off my face and stared at the other side of the bed, to find it crumbled and warm.
The bathroom door opened, making me
rapidly sit up. Sin walks in and walked over the chair by the window. I watched
him closely.
“Get up, freshen up and get dressed. I have a business I need to attend and you
are coming with me. We will be gone for a week so pack the things you need.”
I frowned, “business… What kind of busi
ness and where are we going?” I asked
skeptical.
He turned slowly to look at me. “We are
going to Paris.”
My eyes lit up and i jumped out of the bed in excitement. Was I hearing him correctly, i have always wanted to visit paris
“You are being serious right now. I just can’t believe it. Paris.” I exclaimed.
I could see amusement twinkle in Sin’s
eyes just for a second. He walked towards me.
“You do know that, this is not a vacation. I need to handle somethings there and you will be by my side.”
“Come on Nikolai,” I whined out when I
saw his jaw clench. I knew the only to get to him, was to do what he wants and I plan on playing my cards right.
“I mean, it’s Paris. You can’t expect me not to be excited, I can’t just follow you around all day. I have always wanted to visit paris,” I gave him my best puppy eyes I couId muster and let out a little bit of tears, hoping he won’t turn me down.
He sighed defeated before cupping my
cheek, he used his hand to clean the tears off my face. I smiled inwardly, biting
down softly on my l-ips while staring at
his dark orbs.
“Fine, I will allow you freedom as long as you promise not to do anything stupid or piss me off. If you don’t follow my rules, you’re stuck with me for the week.”
I jumped in joy and doing a happy dance, nodding my head quickly, “yes.”
He smirked
“I will have my some of my men watch over you and keep you safe”.
“Thank you” I whispered looking at him.
He turned his back towards me.
“Freshen up and meet me downstairs.”
He walked out of the room, closing the
door behind him. I plan on gaining his trust during this trip, even if I have to do things his way for now to get my freedom, then i can finally escape this hellh0le. I rushed toward the bathroom to shower not wanting to keep Sin waiting.
