Instead of choosing, he regarded us incredulously, raised up his hands and let them fall to his sides with a sigh.
“I’m out” he said and walked out the front door, slamming the door.
I glared hærd at Maria and went after Fernando.
When I got out, everywhere was pitch black. I cringed internally but continued walking, searching for Fernando. “Fernando!” I scre-med, cupping my hands over my mouth.
I walked further and turned corners indecisively till I reached a pub.
“What do you do when you’re angry? Simple logic, you drink away your sorrows for a while”
I took a deep breath and pushed the pub door open. A slow music was playing from the speakers and the pub was crowded. I scanned the room in a rush and found Fernando sitting on a two seater couch, drinking his third bottle.
“Fernando!” I said softly when I got to him then as if on cue, the music changed to a loud one.
“Who are you?” He asked and continued drinking from the bottle. He had only paused to look at me.
Is he that wasted or he’s pretending not to know me?
I decided we couldn’t talk there so I booked us a room and took him there. I supported most of his weight on the journey to the room.
I practically threw him on the bed when we entered and stood over him just beside the bed.
“Can we talk?” I asked.
His eyes was half closed and two buttons of his chest were opened. I could feel my heart thudding fast in my chest.
“This is Ari’s ex, you can’t betray her.” I scolded myself and cleared my throat.
“Fernando!” I tried again.
His hands shot up and grabbed mine, pulling me to the bed right next to him before I could protest or think rationally, his breath clouded my senses and his eyes were still half closed.
“Why does it feel you’re begging me to make love to you?” He asked in a husky voice which sounded distant in my ears since I was looking at his face and his l-ips was dangerously near mine. All it takes is a slight movement and my l-ips will be on his.
Without warning, he crashed his l-ips on mine, pinning me down with his hands and weight not that he needed to anyway, my body was already weak and acting on it’s own.
He broke the k-ss and trailed k-sses on my neck. I relaxed under him shaking thoughts away from me. I’m going to surely regret this but why can’t I stop him?

I woke up with a killer headache. I took a look at my surroundings and saw it’s different from my room also why the heck am I unclad?!”
I jumped down from the bed and wore my clothes quickly. How did I end up here and what did I do?
I paused for a sec and tried remembering the events of the day before. I remember Maria and Tiana had a fight and asked me choose between them then I came to the pub and was on my third drink when a beautiful lady came to me. Yeah that’s it! I must have spent the night with that lady, where’s she? And besides, who’s she?”

I rushed home very early praying Maria doesn’t notice my absence else I’m busted.
I ran to my room, careful with the door and changed out of my clothes.
I took in deep breath to calm ny racing heart, funnily enough I was waiting for regret to set it but nothing came.
Lying on the bed, my eyes caught Ari’s diary I had left open the day before.
I reached out and brought it closer to me, opened the next page and continued reading.
