ADRIAN’S POV

I stood with my hands folded together as I watched with so much pleasure to see the thorn in my flesh humiliate herself publicly.
The media as usual had started broad casting the news. I told u nobody messes wity Adrian Vandemir and gets away with it, She walks away from the crowd with her head down, I smirk and walk back to my office.
My phone rings immediately I sit down.
“Hey dude how is…… ”

“Really Adrian has it come to that, what have you done to her” Romeo growls from the phone, you could tell he was really upset

“Nothing Roms, I only put the brat in her place, now she’s never going to mess with me again ”
I chuckle watching the live news on the screen, victory feels so good.

Celine’s Pov

I got home defeated and broken, last thing I want is mary to see me or the news.
Mary has been a very good person to me even after i made her lose her job, its rare to find someone who’s not your family treat you the way Mary does and to say she’s even black.
Saying a few words on the media is nothing besides one day they would forget it but I Celine won’t forget this day neither would i forgive Adrian. I walked in,side to meet Mary having a discussion with a guy.

“Hi” i greeted and closed the door.

“Hey celine meet my boyfriend Fred ” She says and i look at her surprisingly

“Hi??” I extend my hand to greet the fine black guy .

“He went to Africa ,SA to be specific get some work done ,but he’s back,I told him everything you’ve done for me ,I mean everything” she says emphasizing on the last word

“Hi celine its a pleasure meting you “he says and smiles at me weirdly,I pretended not to notice it.

“So where have you been” she asks

“Me?? Erm have been busy ,I just decided to find something doing” I stutter avoiding eye contact

“I believe you are lieing but you are not a kid so I’ll let it pass,just don’t get lost”
She jokes,I nod my head and run to my room.
Getting bored of just sitting around I decide to open a facebook account.
I know am ugly nobody would even want to be my friend,but an idea comes up. God am a crazy person

“Pretty thick white girls” I say as I type the words on my phone. A picture catches my eyes and I downloaded it immediately and use the picture as my profile picture,then use the name of my two favorite artiste as my user name. ARIANA DION .
I drop the phone on the bed and go in,side the bathroom. Under the shower my thoughts wonder off to Adrian Vandermir,Am sure that guy is not human, what if he’s a demon. God I hate that guy if I had a choice I would bury him alive.
I come out of the bathroom with a towel on my hair, I look at my phone and its notification

“A friend request” I say and click on the screen.

“Lucifer why would someone bear the name lucifer” I sigh and accept the friend request, looking at the profile picture made me confused. There was a guy in the the picture but u can’t see the person because of the black and white effect.

“Strange’ I say and reply the message he sent to me

“Hi” I texted back and start a conversation with lucifer

ANDRIAN’S POV
Its been a week since I humiliated celine. Although I did fulfil my promise,I opened a club for mary. Am a nice person. Today’s gonna be a fun day for me Deandro’s having his party tonight and I have a surprise for him. He’s gonna love it so much.

“Adrian what you are doing is crazy, Deandro would kill you if you do this ” Romeo advises. I look at him and chuckle

“Am only paying him back with his own medicine” I say and look at the notifications on my phone

“Oh Ariana Dion just replied my text ” I say and read her message out loud for Romeo to hear.

“Am sorry lucifer but I cant video call you am a very ugly person” I said and laugh out loud

“So its Ariana that’s taking your attention now” Romeo asks and I object immediately.

“Oh no no,I know she’s not the one on her profile, besides she’s not really interested in me.

“All we do is hi and Goodnight, All I want is a night with her and add her to the list. Nothing important about her, she’s just like other women. No woman can ever have my full attention” I say unconcerned.

“Why are you so cruel”

“Its a gift from God,don’t blame me I say and my phone rings out .
I look at the caller and throw the phone at Romeo.

“The witch” I whispered and run into the restroom to avoid talking to my mother.

“Andrian don’t do this” Romeo says as I step out of my car. I ignore him and take a quick view of the hall Deandro was using for his party
“Nice ” I say with much sacarcm. I walk in,side the hall and Deandro is the first person to greet me.

“I knew you would make it ” He says and extends his palm I ignore it and look around.

“I heard you were engaged,I don’t see your woman anywhere ??”
He chuckles and places his hands in his pocket
“That’s because I save the best for the last” he says and I smirk wickedly

“Well meet my woman” I say and stretch my hand to point at the door the smile on Deandro’s face turned sour immediately he sees “My woman” come in.
She puts her arms In mine and she k-sses my cheek. The look on Deandro face was priceless. Anger, jealousy and defeat

“Andrian that’s my fiancee” he growls angrily and stare daggers at me while his fiancee plays with my hair.

“I know she’s my woman now” I say and k-ss her forehead.

“Kylie what’s going on” Deandro asks.

“Sorry Deandro but am with Adrian now, He’s more handsome, richer and he lasts longer in bed” She says and I chuckle softly.

“You are going to pay for this Adrian, I won’t let you get away with this. Be ready to lose the woman you love the most” He threatens and I grin softly.

“I already lost the woman I ever loved to you, there’s nothing else you can do to hurt me” I say and look around again.

“Let’s enjoy the party now shall we” I say and drag his fiancee away.

Celine’s Pov
My head rests on my head and I try to force myself not to sleep.
My door opens and a guy walks in.

“Fred” I say and he sits on my bed next to me.

“Stand up” I say and look at him suspiciously.

“Am sorry Celine, I just came to ask if you knew where mary is”
I gro-n and look at him angrily.

“I remember she k-ssed you bye bye before she went out, I was in the kitchen ” I say and he smiles.

“Yes Celine I know but…” He sits down again.

“If you don’t stand up I’ll break your nose and you’ll bleed till Mary comes back from the club” I say angrily. I can’t deny the fact that I don’t know his motives his, he’s been eyeing me at every chance he gets whenever Mary’s not around.
He gets upset and slaps me, I stand up and he pushes me back.

“Let’s see what you are going to do now, I’ll teach you how to be a good girl” He says and loosens his belt with hastes.
The bastard slapped me so hærd that I was bleeding.
The sight of my blood made me mad.

“You d*ck” I say and jump on him. He tries pushing me down but I scre-m and knock his head countless times making him weaker.
I get down and push him on the floor, I grab his legs and begin to bend it the opposite way. Thank you Charlotte Flair for teaching me this.
He scre-ms and hits his hands on the floor pleading for me to release him.
After doing justice to his legs, I growl at him and watch him crawl out of my room in fear.

“No come back, please rape me” I say and use his belt to hit him on his butt.
He crawls out faster to his room, I really feel bad for breaking his legs. I’ll make it up to him, next time he comes to my room I’ll break his head.

I walk downstairs and help Mary cook breakfast.
Fred walks down limping.

“Baby are you okay” Mary asks and walks to help me.

“Oh it’s nothing, I just fell down the stairs” He says and Mary looks at me.

“And you couldn’t tell me” She asks me squinting her eyes to fake anger.

“Am sorry Mary, I was busy” I said and served breakfast.

“Let’s dig in” I say and help Fred to his seat.

“Adrian is coming over today” Mary says all of a sudden and I almost choke to death on my seat.

“Are you okay” Mary asks and passes me a glass of water.

“Why is Adrian coming” I asked.

“Well I want to thank him formally for opening a club for me”

“Mary does it matter” I asked and she nods.

“Of course it does, he’ll be here in the afternoon” She says.
I swallow and look at Fred, he looks away immediately.
Fred is scared of me, Adrian is not.
I’ll teach him to be scared of me.

Adrian’s Pov
I eat breakfast immediately and set to work but Sarah is quick to stop me.

“Can we talk” She asks. I can’t say no to her.

“Sure Sarah, what about??”

“Your mother came here yesterday, she wasn’t happy at all. Adrian when exactly are you going to bring a woman home, Mrs Vandermir and I are worried about you”

“Soon Sarah soon” Even Sarah knew I was lying.

“Love is a very beautiful thing son, I know what happened to you but that was the past. Don’t let your hatred for women destroy you completely” She advises and walks away.

“Stephanie” I call out my secretary, she walks in,side immediately.

“Any schedules for today” I ask and she nods.

“Yes sir, you have to be somewhere at 2pm”
I gro-n in annoyance and ask her to leave. I really don’t want to go there at least not see that thing’s face but Romeo just has a way of convincing me.

Celine’s Pov
I look at the feast Mary prepared just for Adrian, I know he’s not going to come.
I look at Fred as he goes all rom-ntic with Mary, should I tell her??
The door bell ring and I walk to my room but Mary yells my name and asks me to open the door.
I open it and see my worst enemy standing opposite me, I could hear lightening.
We stared at each other for a while and I clenched my fist ready to break everything breakable in his body.

“Are you going to let me in”

“I think you are fine standing outside” He chuckles and pushes me away.

Mary greets him but he ignores her, Fred didn’t really care.
I take a sit but “someone” uses their legs to remove the seat and I fall to the ground. I look up to see Adrian smiling.
I stand up and charge for me but Mary clears her throat reminding me to behave myself.
We start to have lunch after Mary showers him with praises for giving her a club. Only if she knew.

“So how are you and Celine related” He asks all of a sudden. Why is he interested.

“Oh she’s my friend’s junior sister. Stays in Brooklyn”

“Brooklyn… Interesting” He says and stares at me.

“Does her sister also have the same madness”
Mary chuckles while I grab my fork angrily.

“Oh no no, Ju….”

“Can we stop talking about me” I interrupt her and glare at Adrian.

“Idiot” He mutters under his breath but I hear him. I throw my fork at him and it leaves a mark on his nose. Not satisfied I jump on the table and punch his mouth.
Mary yells at me to stop but I don’t, I pour the wine on his shirt and punch his eyes. He gro-ns in pain and anger

“Celine Celine” Mary yells and I look up to her.

“What are you thinking about” She asks. I look at my fork and look at Adrian sitting opposite to me smirking as usual.

“Nothing” I replied and stand up to walk to my room.
I walk past Adrian and give him the coldest glare I ever could. The bastard puts outs his legs but he grabs me from falling down holding my wa-ist.

“Aww you just saved Celine” Mary says.
This bastard is the same person who brings out his legs.

“You know am not so bad” Adrian says and winks at me.
I stand up and push him away. I walk to my room and sit on the bed fuming.

“Aaaaaaaaaaaargghhhhhh” I yell out my frustration and throw the pillows around.

“You did well Celine, you didn’t do anything crazy” Mary commends me.

“It’s nothing” I say and look away.
She hands me a paper and asks me to read it.

“NYC GOT’S TALENT??” I said and she nodded.

“Celine have heard you sing, I used to think you were totally useless no offense”

“None taken” I say.

“But your voice, when you sang ALL BY MYSELF by Celine Dion, I was amazed. Your voice is superb”

“I can’t go to competitions Mary”

“Why”

“The first time I had a singing competition in Brooklyn, I was 14 then. I was disqualified for locking one of the judges in,side the toilet, the last was beating up a man when he was performing, I was 18 then but I really wasn’t the one at fault. The judge was bribed and he was gonna judge unfairly while the guy had drugged 30% of the contestants. I was banned from any competition in Brooklyn” I say and Mary hugs me.

“This is NYC Celine, show them what you’ve got, I believe in you” She says and withdraws from hugging me

Adrian’s Pov
Romeo keeps on staring at me, I could tell he was confused.

“Why are you staring at me, is everything okay”

“You should ask yourself that, you’ve been smiling since I got here. Are you okay, how was your afternoon with Mary”

“Oh it was okay and guess what”

“What??”

“I just found out something, I don’t know but I feel good seeing Celine frustrated. Her anger triggers me to make her more angry”

“Adrian don’t start what you can’t finish” Romeo says and looks at me while I keep on smiling.

Celine’s Pov
How Mary convinced me into coming here is something I can never understand, she gets me.
I wish she was Julia, I walk to where the contestants are standing and look at the judges from the screen.
Adele and one other guy sat down. The third seat was empty.

“I heard they changed the judges” One of the contestants says.

“To who” Another asks.

“I don’t know” She replies.
I look down and take a breath, Soon I begin to hear noises.
Female noises to be specific, I look up at the screen to find out why they were making a lot of noise.
I see my nightmare sit on the judges table obviously enjoying the attention the ladies were giving him.
