Madelyn sat down besides Freddie avoiding eyes contact with everyone of them
Freddie saw how she was feeling and held her hand under the table
Where no one can see them , It okay! He whispered into her ear
Which surprised Madelyn , psycho boss what happened to him ?
Why is he behaving nice all of a sudden? Madelyn thought
As they were about to start the meeting Teddy entered with his secretary
Which got Madelyn scared , she tried to stand up but Freddie was not helping the situation
Teddy eyes and Madelyn came in contact with each other
Teddy smirked when he saw her , she takes her eyes away immediately
The meeting soon start while Madelyn excuse her self
She ask for where the toilet was and she was directed there
Teddy also stand up and follow her, when she got to the toilet and she was about to close the door
Teddy use his leg to block it , what are you doing here? Madelyn asked moving back

Till her back hit the mirror, he used his hand to cage her

Freddie stand up when he did not see Madelyn
He has been feeling uneasy even though he did not know what the feeling is all about
He asked one of the worker there if they have seen her around
The worker directed him to toilet, when he got there he waited outside for her but the noise he was hearing make him opened the door
His eyes widen with what he saw , he pulled Teddy away and started punching his face
He beat him badly till he was satisfied, he left him and went to Madelyn that was already weak
Mad “Freddie shouted tapping her cheeks
My drug ” Madelyn muttered
Freddie picked her up carrying her in a bridal style
He carried her out, all eyes were on them
Mr Leonard came across him and asked him about the meeting
But Freddie asked him to cancel it, he opened the car and dropped Madelyn inside
He checked her bag for her drug but he did not see anything there
He drove out heading straight to his house
He drove into his compound roughly and opened the door
All his men moved closer to him, get me a doctor right now “Freddie said and carried Madelyn inside
Nicole stare at his father when she saw Madelyn in his arm

Not now Nic ” Freddie said and walked passed her
She also follow him , he dropped her in his bed not taking her to guest room
Nicole was about to enter but Freddie blocked her way

I’m not, let me go ! Nicole said and tried to entered again but Freddie was not allowing her
One of his men came in with the doctor
He left the way for them to passed and closed the door leaving Nicole outside
The doctor gave her treatment and gave him the prescription list
Freddie walked in out which gives Nicole opportunity to entered
She moved closer to the bed and stared at Madelyn
She is beautiful” Nicole muttered and sat at the tip of the bed
She started patting Madelyn hair like an adult
Freddie entered and saw Nicole inside his room , she slept on Madelyn tummy which surprised Freddie
Is this Nicole? Freddie said moving closer to her
She didn’t shout or do any thing silly for the first time
She even sleep on her , No there is something wrong

Nicole wake up by the sound of the foot steps she was hearing

Daisy was trying Madelyn number but she was not picking up which got him scared
Freddie came out from the bathroom and take her phone from her bag to check the person that was calling her not stops
Bestie* he read what is on the screen out
When Freddie see that she did not stop calling her he decided to pick up the call
Where did you dropped your phone before? Daisy asked
Did you know how much worried I am right now , why are you not home yet ,it late “Daisy said not giving Freddie any chance to talk
This is not Madelyn” Freddie said
Then who are you? Daisy asked
I’m her boss and she is not coming home because we have much work to do in the office “Freddie said
Why can’t she picked her call ? Daisy asked
Freddie kept quiet for a while thinking of what to say
She is not here , she went to bring a file for me ” Freddie said
Oh okay! When she get back tell her to call me “Daisy said and end the call
Freddie return her phone back and put on his night wear
He slept on the chair leaving Nicole and Madelyn alone in the bed

Madelyn woke up and saw Nicole by her side
Where am I? Madelyn thought and stare at Nicole who was still sleeping
Why am I here ? Who is the owner of this child? Madelyn thought checking out the room
She was , she is cute “Madelyn said smiling at Sleeping Nicole
How did I get here ? She thought trying to remember what happened to her
I remember going to the toilet and Teddy” She said with her eyes widen

No ! Freddie “Madelyn said and got down from the bed
She walked down stairs and saw Freddie in the dining making tea

How are you feeling now? He asked
I’m okay ! Did you brought me to your house? Madelyn asked
Yeah! Sorry for what happened yesterday
I should not have taken you there at first place” Freddie said

She collect it from him , why did he bring me to his house? Did he want his wife to beat me ? Madelyn thought taking the tea

Freddie was just staring at them like a stranger
When Nicole got to her room , she opened her closet and brought out a shot gown which is exactly Madelyn size

Madelyn collected the clothe from her checking it out

My mum “I kept it for her but since she is not coming back you can have it aunt ” Nicole said

Go and bath ” I will wait for you downstairs “Nicole said and walked out
Madelyn also walked out and head to Freddie room
When Nicole got downstairs, she met her father seating in the seating room
Nicole*Come here ” Freddie said
Nicole moved closer to her dad , I’m here dad “She said seating besides him
What are you planning,? Freddie asked
Nothing dad ! Nicole said raising her hand innocently
You will be late for school, go and meet your driver to take you to school “Freddie said standing up
My books are in your room ” Nicole said
Go and get it “Freddie said
No ! I can’t, help me to get it ” Nicole said
You know I can’t go to my room for now ” Freddie said
She is not using your bathroom dad , she is using mine “Nicole said
Okay! I thought she is inside my room ” Wait here
I will get it for you “Freddie said and walked upstairs
He entered his room and saw Madelyn coming out from the bathroom with towel on her chest
What are you looking for? Madelyn said getting annoyed by the way he was staring at her
Holy shit ! Freddie muttered and ran out
Psycho boss “Madelyn said and put on her clothes
Nicole*Freddie shouted from upstairs
Nicole started laughing running around the seating room
You this brat ” Freddie said chasing her

I’m not going to school alone, am going to school with you and aunt ” Nicole said still laughing
