OBSESSED
Season 2, Episode 13
Gibson carried her in his arms and fled the building with Chris behind, trying to watch their back. They managed to trek out of the building wondering how all the armed men who were supposed to be all around the building were no more seen in the premises, it was surprising but they knew without a doubt that it was all the strange lady’s doing.
Already out of the building, they went into the woods still having the hærdest heartbeat in their entire life. Coupled with their experience for the past 18 hours and the running they ran all the way from in,side their locked up room till now, seeing them trekking and running at the same time, Chris decided to take a few minutes to gain back his strength, breathing heavily when he suddenly remembered!
“where’s the blueprint?” he asked Gibson who was already inches away from him
“I don’t know. It’s supposed to be with Jade right?” Gibson said as he brought her down, laying her flat on the short grass
“oh well I guess we left it behind” Chris said after checking her all over and finding nothing.
“I guess I should go back then!” Chris said, putting both hands on the wa-ist, exhausted.
Tho going back wouldn’t be a long trek anyways
“no! let me go instead. You know Jade would want to wake and see her love right?” Gibson teased as he took steps away from them
“no Gib! I’ll go. I trust you enough to leave her in your care. Just wait for me here and don’t move. Try finding someway to wake her up”
Chris said and ran back towards the building.
As he left, Gibson felt a cold breeze indicating the presence of a river nearby. He carried her on his shoulders and walked down with his instinct Have you read Toriperi stories today?.
She had a lot of weight yunno and even if he was a trained detective, he certainly felt pains all over from carrying her all the way down, till Chris offered to take her from him just meters from where he had left them.
As he got to the river, he felt at ease as his instinct wasn’t bad after all. He dropped her down and made his hands into a bowl-like form and ins**ted it into the river.
He withdrew from it and drank. Several time, he repeated this process drinking to his satisfaction till he remembered there was a human being in need for a revival.
Gibson knelt down with his left leg and stretched out his right leg and placed her head on top of his th-gh. He t—-t forward his hands into the water and withdrew from it, a relatively small amount of water and brought it close to her l-ips. He tried parting her l-ips with the edge of his palm pouring into it a small amount of water which sank in. he then released all but got disappointed when they didn’t go in but some poured away indicating her unconsciousness.
“oh my!” it dawned on him that his initial thought of jade being too weak to walk was wrong. She was unconscious!
He immediately dropped her on the ground and went forward, feeling the water’s pressure and coldness. He finally got a s₱0t where the water was cold and collected from it and returned to unconscious Jade. Poured the little water that was remaining from the dripping ones on her and waited for response. Went back again and collected water, poured it on her but still o response. He began to panic, Chris trusted him with her and he can’t just tell him that she got unconscious all of a sudden.
He looked around but found nothing to draw a larger amount of water to revive jade.
He was scared. Long term faint can definitely lead to death or Chronic coma. He went over and did the hand-chest resuscitation, pushing her chest with his both hands crossed on top of the other. But nothing happened!
He looked around and saw a broad leaf, took it and went over again to the river and fetched a larger amount of water, came back and poured it over her face but nothing happened! He decided to do the mouth-mouth resuscitation. He placed his l-ips on hers, parting them a little, he pumped air into her, got away from her, took in more air, and pumped it into her again. He felt a move and got away from her body. Jade coughed so hærd, pouring out the remaining water in her mouth.
Jade looked at the image on top of her but it was blurry
“oh Jade! I thought I had lost you! I thought we lost you!” Gibson said softly, gasping as he couldn’t believe his eyes. Jade was awake and alive in front of him. With tears already forming in his eyes, Gibson bent over to her and hugged Jade who was looking weakly at him.
As Gibson bent over to her to get a hug, Jade tilted her head and locked her l-ips in his. Jade k-ssed him as if she’s never k-ssed before, warm and passionately, she let out every k-ss.
“I love you Chris thank you for saving m…” Jade said as she unlocked from the k-ss
“Jade!” Chris shouted as he walked down towards them. He couldn’t believe what he just saw! Gibson and Jade have been deceiving him this wh0le time!
Episode 14
Chris ran all the way back towards to building, he had to find the missing blueprint, else their stay in the woods was sure.
As he ran all the way back, his mind never left the thought Of leaving Jade with Gibson, he was just trying to act brave and mature but deep down in his heart, he didn’t know if Gibson was an impostor or not. He didn’t stop running, although it was just meters away, he quickened his pace and ran non stop, he was having a doubtful mind and it gave him more reason to quickly return back so as not to give him any chance of running away with Jade.
Chris got to the path after crossing the road which led straight Into the building and saw the paper lying on the ground. It must have fell from Jade’s grip her assumed and took it, returning to where he had left Gibson and Jade.
On getting there, he was shocked you the bone to find Gibson and Jade nowhere! He turned round 360° but found no trace of a soul. His heart skipped a beat as he rushed forward and ran back to the s₱0t.
This time, he was already feeling very nervous. His mind was deceiving him perhaps, so he went easy wards but came back again. He fell on his knees and started crying! He knew he had f—-d up! He truster too much! He gave up Jade just like that, without a fight nor struggle, she was gone! He got up and checked the blueprint. There was a small circle of river indicated in it so he decuded to walk in its direction in order to refreshen himself and think of what to do.
As he walked farther, closer and closer he saw their figure! He felt his mind was playing another prank on him but he wanted to be sure.
Chris walked closer and to a clearer view of them. They were locked in a warm pattionate k-ss, a k-ss meant for him, Gibson took Jade away from the agreed s₱0t and wanted to make love to Jade. She was looking warmly at him, with Gibson on top of her k-ssing his own Jade!
He fumed with anger all the more. He felt betrayed. Jade played him, she coalized with him all these while. It broke his heart
“Jade!” He shouted moving forward and closer. He saw Gibson turned towards him and immediately moved away from.Jade
On hearing a very familiar voice call her from another angle, Jade turned from Gibson and looked at Chris for a while before looking back to Gibson
“Oh Jade please don’t tell me it’s true. What I just saw was a joke right? You didn’t really k-ss him did you?” Gibson said as he kept down close to Jade
“Oh Chris! Is that you? I can’t see, everything is blurred and white she said looking sideways at him. She blinked several times trying to clear her vision and it worked.
Jade gasped as she saw the image in front of her. She had k-ssed Gibson instead!
“What do you mean Jade? I just caught you k-ssing Gibson passionately for that matter and all you say to defend yourself is such a dirty lie? Why? Why the f–k do you have to jilt me this way?” Chris’s tears has already started flowing. It was really painful, he couldn’t fantom any reason in the world why he was fighting for the woman who just turned her back on him. And the worse part was she denying everything for a guy she met just less than two weeks ago
“Chris please i beg you, calm down it’s not what you think, Jade lost consciousness and I…” Gibson tried to explain
“Bullshit! F—–g bullshit!!” Chris yelled standing up away from Jade and walked up to Gibson
” so Jade lost consciousness and the only way to bring her back was to engage in a warm pattionate k-ss with her right?” Chris yanked and swung his fist toward Gibson, hitting him hærd on his jaw.
Gibson gro-ned in pain but withdrew, dragging back towards the water
“you have to calm down and hear me out Chris. I really did not do anything I swear… I just..”
Gibson didn’t know what to say to be believed, words were beginning to vanish, they began to evacute his brain one after the other
“Yeah, there you go thinking of a lie to give. I should have never trusted you! I knew you were up to no good but… But why? Why Jade when you know I love her?!!”
He yelled again, moving closer to Gibson but Gibson withrew his steps simultaneously getting to the river’s edge
Chris stopped in his track, took a deep breath and went back to Jade
“You know what? You can have her! You both can have each other! I don’t bloody care cus you betrayed me! both of you!!” He shouted once more, sniffed in his nose and cleaned his tears.
He walked away into the woods leaving crying Jade who managed to stand up. She walked up to him but he pushed her away which made her fall back to the ground
“No Chris. Don’t do this to me…” She cried even more seeing him walk away “I love you!” She yelled bursting into fresh tears as She thought he really had gone.
On hearing the last statement, Chris stopped in his track and looked at her
“I love you very much Chris please don’t go. It’s not what you think” she stood up again and tried taking steps toward him but she staggered, and fell back on the ground, she was seeibg blurry and had turning vision.
“Jade!” Chris called out and ran back to her. Carried her on his shoulders and walked away leaving Gibson behind….

Chris dropped her down, breathing heavily
“Don’t you dare touch her!” He yelled at Gibson who attempted to carry Jade.
“Can you walk now?” Chris asked Jade who seemed too weak to talk. She nodded positively and Chris supported her to stand, held her wa-ist with his left hand and placed her right hand over his shoulders and started walking again.
They walked on and on, looking at the blueprint every now and then to be sure they were on the right route and they were.
Chris got filled with hope as he heard noises meters away so he quickened their pace “we’re almost there” he assured Jade as he adverted adverted the leaves blocking the road their view to see the main road right in front of them!
This side of the road wasn’t like the one they were coming from which had no soul nor a vehicle pass.
It was filled with life as honking and vibes could be felt everywhere. Chris looked happily at Jade who smiled failure before passing out again!
“Jade!!” Chris shouted as he bundled her up and ran across the road, stopping any vehicle that passes.
