FINALE
💥 Elsie’s POV 💥
We hid behind a rock as we looked at the Shadow cave
There were many guards at the entrance, it’s as if the Ice Queen stationed a battalion of warriors over here
They must be more than 50
“They are too many, we won’t be able to defeat them if we barge in” Kali said
“I’ll lead them away” Korax said bringing out his bow
“What are you doing?” I asked
“Just watch” he said
He quietly moved to another rock closer to the cave
Then he took and arrow and shot one of the guards
The rest of the guards looked in his direction
He shot another guard, then another and then he stood up and started running towards the woods
Almost half of the guards ran after him
“Will he be alright?” I asked
“Am sure he’ll be fine” Erik said
“Let’s go then” I said
We stood up and walked towards the entrance of the cave
We brought out our swords and we began to fight the rest of the guards
It was a long fight but we killed them all and luckily no one got hurt
We ran inside the cave and their were many cells filled with people
Some were warriors and some were just commoners
They were surprised to see us but we kept walking till we found the cell the Queen was in
I quickly broke the lock with my sword and she looked up
“Elsie?” She said standing
“My Queen” I greeted with a bow
“Oh my God, it is you” she said as she hugged me “I thought you died”
“What happened to your eye?” She asked
“I got injured by wolf” I said
“Am so sorry Elsie, am sorry I sent you on such a dangerous mission” she said
“Are these the people you went with?” She asked pointing to Erik and Kali
“Yes, they are my friends though 3 died in the Island” I said
“Am really sorry Elsie” she said and she looked at Erik and Kali “am sorry for your loss” she said to them
“Did you get the sword?” She asked and I brought out the sword
“Amazing, you guys did it” she said with a smile on her face
“I had lost all hope Elsie, I thought this was the end but thanks to you guys, we’ll be able to end the Ice Queen once and for all” she said
“Erik is that you?” I heard someone say and we all turned to look
💥 Erik’s POV 💥
I turned to look at who it was
Kendrick?!
I almost couldn’t hold my laughter as I saw him, he looked so disorganized and worn out and his hair was a mess
“It is you” he said as he saw my face “open the door for me Erik and get me out of here”
“Who’s he?” Elsie asked
“My brother, Kendrick” I replied
“Oh you mean your half brother, the one that never misses an opportunity to taunt you” Elsie said walking towards Kendrick
“Who are you?” Kendrick asked
“Erik’s friend and if you want to leave that cell, get on your knees and apologise for all the wrongs you’ve ever done to him” Elsie said and I chuckled
This is going to be fun
“What! That’s impossible I can’t do that” Kendrick said
“Okay then” Elsie said and turned to Kali and I “let’s open the other cells and get the people out, it seems this Kendrick wants to rot here”
“No don’t leave me here!!” Kendrick yelled and Elsie turned to him
“Am sure you know what to do” Elsie said
Kendrick paused a bit and finally went on his knees

“Am….am sorry for everything Erik, I apologise” he said and I burst into laughter
He must really want to get out of the cell desperately
We suddenly heard footsteps and we turned to see Korax coming
“What about the guards?” Kali asked
“Dead” he said
“All of them?” Elsie asked surprised
“Yes, I couldn’t let anyone escape or they might report to the Ice Queen” Korax said
“You are right, great job” I said
“Have you found your Queen?” He asked
“Yes, there she is” Elsie said pointing at Queen Helga
“Who is he?” Queen Helga asked
“He’s one of the warriors Ice Queen sent after us, but he changed and he has really helped us alot” Elsie said
“Thanks for helping them” the Queen said and Korax bowed a little
“Now that you’ve rescued your Queen, what are you going to do next?” Korax asked
“We attack the Palace and kill the Ice Queen” Elsie answered
“No Elsie” the Queen said
“What do you mean my Queen?” Elsie asked
“You can’t just attack the palace, the Ice Queen has thousands of warriors there and no matter how powerful you are, you will be killed” the Queen said
“Then what do we do?, How do we get in to the Palace?” Elsie asked
“We could use Korax” Kali said
“How?” The Queen asked
“The Ice Queen doesn’t know he’s no longer on her side, we could use that to our advantage” Kali said
“Yes, what if you pretend that you captured us Korax and you’ll take us to see the Ice Queen, then we are alone with her, we can kill her” Erik said
“It’s still dangerous, it’s a big risk” the Queen said
“We can do it” Elsie said
“If that’s what we’re going to do then that means your Queen can’t come with us” Korax said
“That won’t be a problem” the Queen said “since that’s the only way you guys can get to the Palace then no problem, but promise me, promise me you’ll kill the Ice Queen”
“I’ll make sure to drive the sword into the Ice Queen’s heart” Elsie said with a bow
“I know you all are focused on killing the Ice Queen but can you open the door for me now” Kendrick said
I went close the door and broke the lock with my sword
Kendrick came out and held my hand
“We need to talk privately Erik” he said as he pulled me forward and we walked out of the cave
“What’s it?” I asked
“I want you to take my place” he said
“Take your place in where?” I asked
“As the crowned prince” he said
“What?!!!”
“Being the crown prince means I’ll have to continue going to battles whenever there’s a war and I can’t do that, my life is precious to me Erik and I don’t want to die, so please when you get home, I’ll forfeit my position as the crown prince to you” he said and I scoffed
“No”
“What do you mean no?” He asked
“I don’t want to be the crown prince and am never going back to that palace, after everything ends, I just want to live somewhere quiet and lead a peaceful life and I can’t sacrifice that for you so continue being the crown prince even though you could die at anytime in a battle, that’s your punishment for all the things you’ve done to me, extend my greetings the King and Queen” I said and walked out of him
💥 Elsie’s POV 💥
Erik came back and we left the cave for the place
I tried convincing Kali to stay behind since she’s pregnant but she refused
She wanted to see it to the end
We took chains from the cave and chained ourselves so that the deception would be believable
Korax walked at the front while we followed from behind
“Erik” I called and he looked at me “I told the Queen am going to quit after we’ve killed the Ice Queen”
“Why?” He asked
“I just…. I just don’t want to fight anymore, am tired of it” I said and he nodded
“If that’s what you want then okay” he said
💥 Ice Queen’s POV 💥
Castor suddenly ran into my chamber
“What’s wrong?” I asked
“Korax is here, he captured the warriors the Helga sent to Island of Langerhan and he’s here” Castor said
“Why are you wasting time, send him in” I said and Castor rushed out
Moments later, he was back with Korax and there were three warriors chained with him
“Korax”
“My Queen” he bowed “I managed to capture Helga’s warriors” he said
“Am so happy you didn’t failed me, where’s the others?” I asked
“They dead” he replied
“What!, How? Nyla is dead?” I asked surprised
“Yes” he said
“Who did it? Who killed them?” I asked and he kept silent
“Who killed them Korax!!” I yelled
“Me” he said
“What?” I asked surprised but he didn’t answer me
He suddenly turned and broke the chains of Helga’s warriors with the sword he was holding
“What are you doing Korax?” Castor asked probably surprised like I was
“I killed them, well I didn’t kill Xanthos Nyla did, but I killed the rest of them, including Nyla and guess what my Queen, I enjoyed it” Korax said
“You traitor, you betrayed me, kill him Castor” I commanded and Castor brought out his sword to attack him
One of Helga’s warriors joined Korax and they were fighting Castor together
Then the remaining two ladies began to walk towards me
“Are you both stupid? In case you don’t know, I can’t be killed” I said with a smile
“Really?” One of the warrior asked as she drew out her sword
It can’t be
“Is that….the mystical sword?” I asked
“You recognized it” the other warrior said
And for the first time, I felt fear…
💥 Elsie’s POV 💥
The Ice Queen brought out her sword and Kali and I started fighting her while Korax and Erik fought the other warrior
She is strong, we couldn’t even give her a single cut
She then slashed Kali on her arm and she fell on the ground
“Kali!!!” I yelled and the Ice Queen laughed
“There’s no use in having the mystical sword when you don’t have the skills” she said
I looked at her and then kicked the sword out of her hands and slashed her on the face with my sword giving her a cut before she could anticipate my move
“How dare you!!” She yelled as she came close to me and held my cheek and I started to freeze
“Do you think I won’t be able to fight without my sword?” She asked asked as she tired her grip and I felt an almost unbearable pain, it’s like my blood isn’t flowing anymore
“Wr…..wrong…….wrong move” I managed to say as I drove the sword into her chest with all the strength I could muster
Her hand fell from my cheeks and she looked at me
“You….you…” She couldn’t complete her words as she coughed out blood and fell on floor
She’s dead!
Finally
I slumped down to the floor as tears flowed out freely from my eyes
I granted your request Gia, your deaths wasn’t in vain Kiara and Leo
The Ice Queen is dead now
Erik came to my side and I looked at him with tears in my eyes
“The Ice Queen’s General is dead” he said
“We did it” I said as I hugged at him and he patted my back
“We lost a lot people but it wasn’t in vain” I said
We disengaged from the hug and I saw Kali struggling to stand up and I went to meet her
“Are you okay?” I asked
“Yes, the cut isn’t that deep” she said and I hugged her
“She’s dead now, the Ice Queen is dead, we won” I said
****** Years Later ******
“Erik!” I called as I walked out of the house to sit Erik
“What’s it?” He asked
“You shouldn’t leave your pregnant wife alone in the house, what if I suddenly go into labour” I said
“Come on Elsie, it’s not even up to 7 months” he said
“I want chicken” I said
“Again! You just finished eating one this morning” he said
“I want chicken Erik!!”
“Fine, I’ll get it” he said as he stood up
I smiled as I watch him walk away
Life has been good, am married to Erik now and we are living a peaceful life in Rogia Kingdom
No swords, no arrows, no fights, just a quiet and peaceful environment and I like it
Queen Helga rules Midland now and she’s doing a great job at it
Kali gave birth to a girl, so we have a little Gia now
Queen Helga offered Korax to be her warrior but he turned her down, he said he doesn’t like staying in one place so Korax travels around now though he visits us sometimes
The mystical sword is with the Queen Helga and it’s save with her
And I will be bringing a little one into the world soon
I still miss Kiara Leo and Gia sometime, I wish they could see how peaceful the world is now, there deaths weren’t in vain…
