EPISODE 22
KEN’S POV
We arrived school through a cab, as it already late to disturb the driver, since he could have taken us and Nuella to school at same time.
Why we were in the cab I had narrated all that transpired yesterday night between Gina and I to Stan and I could feel he was really very sad and shocked, a tinge of disappointment could be found in his voice as he condemned her actions.
it seems like this guy has something for that girl as he was more on the peace making part.
We strolled into school as we rushed towards our class to meet up with lecture.
immediately we arrived class the bell for change of classes rang and we couldn’t help but breath a sigh of relief, as it was sure that the jamb question that would have hit us both would have been mind tumbling.
Immediately we stepped in the students started cheering.
I and Stanley were drawn aback as we stood confused.
GINA’S POV
I could feel the shock and confusion in her voice when she said that.
“You know what? can we talk this out in school?”
She said as she put an end to the call and I was sure she was really sad and hurt, just that she didn’t know how to confront me, especially when she knew I was doing it for her benefits.
I prepared for school and went.
In class Ken and Stan were yet to be in class, it seems both of them won’t be coming to school today, probably yesterday’s party took the greater part of them.
The first lecture was already over when I saw Ken and Stanley walk in and the class turned a bit noisy when they walked in and I knew it was all due to the new guys performance yesterday night.
I could see they both looked drawn aback when they saw the class reaction.
Just then Rosemary walked off to meet the both of them, as she approached Stan and hugged him tightly and pecked him on the l-ips to the shock of the Stanley as he stood transfixed at the drama playing out, that was our class for you.
The ght was already turning a celebrity in class.
They started clapping at the actions of Rosemary, as they Hailed them both.
“Hi guys she said, while still holding his hands.
“Meet my boyfriend.”
She said and that increased the scre-ms and clapping, as random talks like.
“Bad guy, you never stay up to a week you Don capture one of our class top beauty.”
“Yes that’s great, it’s nice that you shoot your shot.”
And other talks.
I could feel a little bit of jealousy when I heard all this, and the reason for being jealous is what I don’t even understand sef.
The new guy still stood confused, as he was just smiling numbly, while Ken who was at his back was just smiling and laughing at the wh0le stuff.
I had crossed eye contact with Ken once but he just coldly looked away, as if I was nothing of importance and I really felt a bit saddened.
Christabel was yet to be in school and I don’t know what really the problem is, but I was sure she must come to school.
😍 STAN’S POV 😍
I was really shocked at the turnout of events when we approached the class and worst more Rosemary’s action that was like announcing to the class that we are dating.
A girl I haven’t even spoken to on a normal basis of not for the little intro, what really is the meaning of this?
And to be frank, what I feel for her is too slight to be termed love.
I like her vibe and how real she is, she is fun to be with, as she is just the type who says things as she pleases and may the consequences be damned. She is simply real.
But that’s all, how would I even explain all this?

😍 KEN’S POV 😍

I went to my seat after the wh0le class noise and sat down in anticipation for the next class.

just then, Christabel walked in and I just drew away my face and bent to pick up my books in preparation for the next class.

It’s just best I start being on my own in this class to avoid stories that touches the heart, before the next one would be acclaimed a rape case. I still have a long way to go in life, than starting now to answer unnecessary names and questions.

I was already set when the Government teacher walked in and started the lecture for the day, as everyone was more on the listening side, when I heard the teacher say.

“Christabel and Gina please the class is going on you can continue whatever you guys after the class, please.”

He said and the wh0le class attention was drawn to them as they both just packed up as if they weren’t saying anything or in any discussion.

“What must they be discussing and arguing? probably what happened yesterday?”
.
I couldn’t help but think, as I felt my heart skip up a bit. Well, clear conscience is a goal, I thought to myself and faced the class.

😍 STAN’S POV 😍

I was just in class digesting all that Ken told me, as I couldn’t help but feel a bit saddened.
.
“Nawaaa to this girl ooo! Being faster than ones shadow can be very toxic.”
I couldn’t help but say.

I really like her, but all this stories in one girl just in a day of knowing her, but I remembered the song, WOMAN by Rude Boy and I smiled, well no one is perfect and even I myself have my flaws too, so compromising and building that perfect woman I need can be done by me, that can boldly stay by my side, it all entails on me.

Well I like her and I don’t care whatever she has with Ken, that’s their personal fracas that can be settled at any moment.

But as for now it’s too early to start any advances let me be aged in the class first, as for Rosemary, I don’t even know what that one’s problem really is.

I was still lost in thought when I heard the teacher tell Gina and Christabel to stop making noise and I turned my attention to them.

😍 CHRISTABEL’S POV 😍

I was really mad at Gina after she narrated all that occurred yesterday.
.
yes, a probability of such things happening was really very high, but accusing someone wrongly, especially without any proof was really appalling.
.
I could remember him trying to stop me from drinking and I was the one who kept on pushing him off, as I kept on drinking without restraint.
.
I made up my mind to approach him and also apologize to him about what happened yesterday’s night on my friends behalf, though it had really wasn’t what I was supposed to do, but it concerns me to an extent, because I’m really the reason for all this.

Well after this class I would approach him.

😍 GINA’S POV 😍

There are certain things that really can be that if it was possible, you would go back to redo some speech you made.
.
I really regretted saying those words and to make it more painful was even my bestie robbing it all over my face and getting angry at me, as that was what she rarely does, even at the highest rate of annoyance from me.

in fact I’m even the one who normally forms angry bird for her.

I felt my face burning in embarrassment when the teacher cautioned us and as wh0le classes attention was on the both of us.

The class was already over and I went over to Ken’s desk to stay with him as I really needed someone to discuss with.

We were laughing over a few stuffs when I saw Christabel walk over to us, with her usual all smiles.

“Hi cuties!”

She greeted us both and I smiled broadly, but Ken behaved as if she never existed as he opened his locker and brought out a text book and started flipping over it.

“Hi Ken.”

She greeted, but Ken behaved as if he never heard her and she called him again and that was when he turned to her as he asked .

“What do you want?”
.
She was dumb founded as she was lost on what to say, and their drama had already drawn the attention of most of the class.

“Why acting this way?”

She couldn’t help but ask.
.
“See Ehhhhhh!! please I don’t need any problem, please just stay away from me, just simply avoid me, to avoid you and your friend cooking up another story, probably that I raped you when you were high on weed. Biko hapu m aka (Please leave me alone) just de your dey make i de mine.”

He said as he continued flipping through his books while overlooking her and the wh0le class was thrown into confusion on what really was the problem, as whispering sounds filled everywhere.

I looked up and saw her in tears as tears flowed freely from her eyes, and she turned immediately and ran out of the class.

I turned to Ken and after looking at him for a while, I got up and left his desk for mine.

I even thought he was mature enough.
