Rolling down her bed, when the invincible cane was through with her. She s¢ræmed loudly that everyone was awaken that night. Benita was taken to the hospital for treatment the next Morning.

After Victor and Amina has taken their WAEC results, the next year they picked Jamb forms and sat for the exam.

A week after the exam, Amina was in the sittingroom, since is weekend her aunt kids didn’t go to school. Her aunt has left the house to attend a wedding ceremony, “aunty Amina, good morning” they greeted cheerfully.

“Ona wan eat?” Amina asked both of them, they nodded. Amina has asked both of them to go to their room and tackle their assignments, she stood up to get food for both of them, her phone beeped.

She bent and picked it, “wow, 320!” Amina exclaimed, the both kids watch in bewilderment as they watch her jumped up and shouted happily. “Aunty Amina, why are you shouting?” The younger one asked her. “I have 320 in Jamb” Amina told them and disappeared into the kitchen.

The two kids look at each other in confusion, Amina placed their food in the dinning table and dialed Victor’s number.

“Over used husband, you don see your result?” She asked through the receiver.

“I get 210 oh, I thank God” Victor replied.

“Block head with water melon brain, I get 320” she told him and grinned.

“I hear you, if no be say the computer s-ck your n-pples. You for get 320?” Victor replied and laughed.

“Ashawo, if no be say all your wisdom dey in,side girls skirt, you for pass 210” she replied him curtly.

They went on and on till MTN halt the call, Amina is yet to temper with the money she took from Edna’s husband. She has kept it in her bank account.

August that year, Amina and Victor went to the university compound. They dropped at Mile 3 and take a shuttle in,side the school, they kept on gisting in the carb.

Amina was the first to go in and wrote her Post UTME, she came out smiling happily. She has seen her score, and Victor went in and came out grinning.

“Wetin you get?” She asked him, he only eyed her.

“You wan gossip again?” He replied her with a question, a boy walked up to Amina and Victor.

“Hi, you are here for the post UTME?” He asked her directly.

“Who be this one?” She replied him with question, she held Victor’s wrist and dragged him along.

“Why you even put linguistic and communication studies?” She asked him, while both of them where walking to the carb park in,side the school.

“I know say you must ask, you must ask oh, Amina must ask” he sang in response and she giggled.

They entered the carb and left the university campus.

Amina went home for Christmas in other to prepare for school, Victor also did.

His twin Victoria and him, with Amina were going to the stream together. The street has w-t footpath, as they walk on the footpath.
They were talking with each other as. David was coming from the stream.

He carried a bucket of water on his head, Amina and Victoria looked at him. Wondering when the village lack borehole that you can’t fetch water from, “Dave, what’s up na?” Victor asked his friend.

David started smiling to himself repeating “what’s up” without stopping, Victor frown in hurt. He remembered Emily, “them don chop this one brain” Amina said and laughed.

Victor glared at her, she kept quiet immediately. “Dave, why you dey fetch water from stream na?” Victoria asked him. “I dey mad, I dey mad!” Dave shouted and cried as tears rolled down from his eyes, Victoria hid behind Amina.

Victor shook his head, David carried the bucket of water and left. He didn’t stop shouting “I dey mad! I dey mad!!” As he walked away, Victor was sadden by his friend situation.

“Na that Karashika house help do am this thing” he said angrily, he clench his fist. He isn’t scared of her, he’ll confront her to restore his friend he sworn in his heart.

“You get luck Victor, your own. You for dey naked dey shout like David” Amina said, three of them laughed at the joke.

“Even tho. I mad, I go still wear boxer” he boasted, Amina pursued him since he is some feet away from her. He escaped her and ran to the stream.

The girls clad themselves with what will enable them swim, Victor simply sat at the corner thinking of David’s situation and best solutions to tackle it. He decided that he will surely pay a visit to Emily before he travels back to the city.

The night was dark, but it never stopped raining and thunder stroke incessantly as lightening flashes in the rumbling sky.

At an old shrine, that has been forgotten many years ago. The place is already bushy, as it is widely known the old priest lost his life while making an incantation to the great spirit of the shrine. Since then everyone avoided the shrine as plaque.

A skeleton hand made a hole on the ground, another of it hand dug another hole from the ground. Several parts of the skeleton made holes as it completely stood on the ground.

The skeleton look around the shrine, almost everything in the shrine is dug in the ground. “Ogumale!” The skeleton said with a raised voice, the thunderbolt became aggressive as it kept on calling on a spirit.

A man appeared naked, his heads very long to the extent it stopped at his w–st. His face as beautiful as a woman face, he could be mistaken to be a woman.

“Gooooo! Goo! Ogumale, and claim your wife” the skeleton shouted with a voice as strong as of a priest that has lived.

The naked man faced East and disappeared.
