Madison smirked and walked closer to Jackson.
She wrapped her arms around his neck.

“If that’s the case, I like it. I won’t mention that snitch name in your presence”

Jackson sipped from his wine, staring at Madison.
“Good. If you would excuse me, I need to have fun” he said and left.

Madison bit her lower l-ips.
“I like the new Jackson”

Cindy shook her head.
“I need to figure out what happened” she murmured and left there.

Jasper walked towards Kylie and sat beside her. He saw her bleeding palm and stared at her w-t face that was soaked with tears.

“Kylie? You don’t have to cry over this. Trust me, you mother is fine. We are also doing you a good thing by keeping you here” he explained.

“I need to be alone Jasper” she said softly.

“Fine. If you need me, you know where to find me” he said and left from there.

Kylie cried into her palm again. She wished she could get hold of her mother.
For some reason, she regretted leaving home.

Sarah heard some loud bang on the door.
She thought it was Kylie. She quickly ran downstairs and opened the door.

“Hello!” Bob said, smiling at her.

Sarah frowned.
“Who are you?” She asked.

“You don’t need to know who I am. You should be worried about what I am” he said and growled as his fang slowly grew longer.

Sarah started panting hærd. She knew he was a vampire.
She slammed the door on his face and quickly ran upstairs.
She searched for the potion Sasha gave to her.

Bob kicked the door hærd and it flew open.
He entered into the room with the others.

“Two of you, get her. Three of you, search for the demigod. She should be in her room, calling her boyfriend” Bob sad jokingly.

Chris and the other boy ran upstairs towards Sarah’s room.

They flung the door open and started searching for Sarah.
Chris saw the photo on her table and saw Kylie.

“Oh no, Kylie’s the demigod” he murmured.

As they opened the bathroom door, Sarah splashed the potion on their faces.

“Ahhh!” They gr0×ned in pain and went out of the room.
They ran down the stairs and missed their step, making them roll down the stairs.

They fell on the floor and melted, right in front of Bob.

Bob frowned and stared at Sarah as she held the empty bottle in her hand.
She didn’t know where Kylie hid her own potion.

As she entered into Kylie’s room, the three vampires caught her and took her to Bob.

Bob held her hair and drew his face closer to her.
“What have you done witch?” He asked and threw her away, making her fall to the floor.

Sarah bursted into tears.

“Where is she?” He asked.

“She’s nowhere to be found”one of them replied.

“Where is your daughter? Or should I say, the demigod?” Bob yelled at Sarah.

“I don’t know. Just let me go” she said.

“Are you powerless? Can’t you fight back or you are just useless?” Bob asked.

Sarah tried to stand up. She stretched her hands forward and pushed them with strong force.
But it was just a faint force.

She isn’t that powerful anymore since she locked Kylie power in the necklace.

Bob bursted into laughter.
“Tie her!” He ordered.
“I’ll make sure to teach you a lesson and make you pay for making me lose my favorite vampire” he said.

They took her and tied her to a chair.
“No! No! Don’t do this. I’ve done nothing to harm you!” She yelled.

Bob brushed his finger on her sweaty face and cleaned it on her dress.
“I’ve never met you until today. I’ve always heard of you. Robby wouldn’t let me have peace, always calling your name. Even in his sleep. Besides, where is Robby?” He asked.

“I don’t know!” She said struggling to free herself.

“Where is your daughter? Wait, you don’t know also!” He said.

Sarah raised her head and glared at Bob.
“You are evil. My poor child hasn’t done anything to hurt you, so why do you seek her?” She asked.

“Sorry baby. It’s our tradition to always kill the demigod because she’s unwanted” he grinned his teeth.

“She’s unwanted to you! Not to me” Sarah said in reply.

“I hate talking to you” he said and brought out his knife.

“What are you doing?” She asked.

“Sending a message to your precious daughter” he said.

“No no no!!!!!!!”

Kylie opened her eyes and saw some of the witches staring at her. She didn’t believe that she slept there and on an empty stomach.

She quickly stood up and walked towards a young boy.
“Hey”

“My mother told me not to talk to strangers” the boy said.

“Fine, I know I’m a stranger so I’ll leave. Open the door for me” she said smiling at him.

The boy walked towards the door and joined his palm together.
He chanted some words and separated his palm with force.

Immediately, the door separated.

Kylie clapped her hands in happiness.
“Thanks” she said and quickly left the hangout.

Jasper walked out of his room and sighted Kylie going out.
“Oh no!” He said and ran downstairs.

He stopped and stared at the young boy that helped Kylie.
“Why did you help her?”

“She said she’s a stranger and wants to leave” she said.

Jasper shook his head and also went out if the hangout.

He didn’t know where Kylie has gone.
The day was bright already.

“Home… She would have gone home” he said and left, running towards the city.

Kylie was tired. She doesn’t know the miles she has covered.

She got to the city and started walking slowly.
It was a very cold morning even with the sun.

She sighted her house from distance and saw ambulance and firefighters outside her compound.

She slowly walked towards them and panted slowly.
“What happened?” She murmured.

As she wanted to run in,side, the cops stopped her.
“You can’t go in ma’am”

“This is my house. Where is my mom?!” She yelled as hot tears rolled down her eyes.

The cops left her and let her in.
She ran into the smoky house. Everything has been brought down by fire.

She saw her mother and Sasha lying on the floor.
Their bodies were burnt by fire.

She walked towards them and knelt before them.
“No, no!”

A nurse walked towards her.
“Are you Kylie?” She asked.

Kylie couldn’t answer. Her mind was filled with anger and sorrow already.
She wished she could turn back the hands of time.

She knew it was the vampires that did this to her mom and Sasha.

“Are you Kylie?” The nurse asked again.

Kylie nodded, still staring at the burnt bodies.

“You have a message” she said and turned the body over.

She saw the message written on her mother’s back.

We Will Find You Kylie….

She saw it and bursted into another round of tears.

That was when Jasper ran into the house.
He saw everything and walked towards Kylie.

“It’s okay Kylie” he said with his hands on her back.

Kylie just continued crying. She made it louder.

They took the bodies and left.

Kylie went out of the house with Jasper.
The cops asked her to sign some papers.

“You need to find somewhere to stay for the meantime. The government will take care of your house in two months”

Kylie nodded. She never thought something like this would happen to her.

She knew that if she were to be at home last night, they would have killed her also. But if her mother picked up the call, she wouldn’t have died.

Jasper helped her to sit on an empty chair.
“Just stay here. I’ll get you something to take. You’ll be weak if you keep on crying” he said and left.

Kylie turned and stared at the house again.

“Everything is gone. What do I do? How did it happened?!” She asked herself.

Bob sat alone on the throne tightening his fist. He was very angry that he didn’t find the demigod.
Dylan walked to him where he sat and bowed a little bit.

“Why are you angry my lord?” He asked.

“Isn’t it obvious?” He asked.

Dylan nodded.

Bob sighed and walked towards Dylan.
“I lost the demigod” he said.

Dylan gasped.
“How?”

“I got to the witch’s house and didn’t find her daughter. Seem like she… Travelled or something. I got angry and killed her and some other woman that came into the house. I didn’t forget to burn their bodies” he said.

Dylan sighed.
“Are you sure you did the right thing?” He asked.

Bob turned and glared at Dylan.
“Are you questioning me?”

Dylan smiled and took some steps closer to Bob.
“Seem like the game is still on. Anyone who finds the demigod will sit on that throne” he reminded him.

Bob turned and glared at the empty seat.
“I know how long you’ve been thirsty for that throne. I’ll make sure you sit on it”

“I don’t want to sit on it. I’ll make sure my son sit on it, trust me” he said and left.

Bob scoffed and went back to sit on the chair.
He leaned his staff on the wall and stared into the thin air, wondering how to find the demigod.
