Kylie gave a silent chuckle. Everyone behind just watched in silent and fear within. Kylie could hear their heartbeat.

She could even hear their thoughts. Some wanted her to just go with the werewolves so there won’t be any fight.

Some just wish what was happening was nothing but a dream.

“I belong to no one” she said.

Diego stared at her.
“You have the same characteristics with us. Sharp smell, distant hearing and super strength. You are just like us”

“The vampires also have the same characteristics. I do not belong to you. So, please leave!” She said.

“I’m saying it calmly now. I don’t want to cause any war. No one actually believe that we exist because we wanted a perfect time to strike” Diego said, grinning his teeth.

“I don’t care. You won’t touch any of this people because I won’t let you do that”

Diego smiled.
“Take the human!”

One of them quickly walked towards the table were Lilly hid.
He dragged her to Diego.

Lilly cried.
“No! Help! Kylie!”

Cindy and Madison couldn’t do anything. They just watched as they pulled Lilly from there.

Kylie wanted to help her but Diego pointed his sharp claws at her neck.

“I won’t hesitate to kill her. I see she’s precious to you” he said.

Everyone gasped. They never wished for him to kill her.

Elina stared at Kylie.
“What are you going to do?”

“He won’t kill her. I know that” she replied, glaring at him.

“Diego! Let her go!” She said.

“No!” He gr–ned.
“You have to join my pack and be one of us. You can be the head, I don’t mind. If you agree with me, I’ll let your little friend go” he said, showing his red eyes. He was showing that he was the Alpha.

Kylie became angry.
She shot her bloody red eyes wide open.
Diego saw it and became frightened but he still didn’t let go of Lilly.

“Let her go!” She said angrily, moving closer to him.

“What in the world are you? Look at the eyes, it’s so different from mine” Diego murmured.

He quickly pushed Lilly to Blake as Kylie used her powers to choke him.

Diego was floating in the air. He couldn’t breath.

When the others saw what was happening to their Alpha, they ran into the woods with Lilly.

Kylie angrily threw Diego away, he hit the tree again and fell on the floor.

Kylie ran into the woods, after Lilly.
She won’t let them harm her.

Everyone was surprised that the Alpha was no match for Kylie.

“Even if there’s a war, Kylie can save us” Madison said.

“I wish I’m a demigod” Cindy said and gave a wry laugh.

“I just hope she finds Lilly” she said.

The others were scared to continue the party.
They thought the wolves would be back.

Elina walked towards Diego.
“Are you alright?” She asked.

“Let go of me!” He gr–ned and stand up, feeling pain all over his body.

“I’ll be back to take the demigod! Watch out” he said and turned into a wolf and ran into the woods.

Elina and Robby stared at each other.
“I hope Kylie is safe!”

Kylie continued running after them. She could hear Lilly shouting her name as she ran.
She was scared, tired and sleepy.

When they were few meters away from her, she stopped and placed her hand on the floor making a fire.

The fire surrounded the wolves and Lilly.
They weren’t friendly with fire.

“Bring her to me” she said.

Blake shook his head.
“Why should I? Why are you even part of their lives? You should be with us, we’ll treat you well as one of us”

“I don’t want to. Now, bring her over!” She grinned her teeth.

Blake grabbed Lilly closer to himself and did something to her which Kylie could not see.

Lilly s¢ræmed and fell on the floor.

The others turned into wolves and ran out of the fire. They didn’t want to get killed by Kylie.

Kylie clapped her hands, making the fire go off.

She ran to Lilly where she laid on the floor.
“Are you okay?” She asked.

Lilly sat up and raised her shirt.

Kylie could see the bite which Blake made above her w–st.
“Oh no…” She murmured.

Kylie went back to the hangout after some time.
They saw her and ran to her.

“Did you find her?”

“Any trace of Lilly?”

“Yes. She is fine” she replied.

They all sighed.
“I guess the party is over” Robby said.

“I’m sorry for the party being ruined” Elina apologized.

“It’s okay” Robby smiled and walked towards Kylie.

“I’m proud of you sweetheart” he said and k-sed her forehead.

“Thanks dad” she said and watched as her father left.

Cindy and Madison walked towards her.
“Where is Lilly?”

“I took her home” Kylie replied with a low voice.

“Why are you sad? She’s alright” Madison asked.

“She was bitten by a wolf, does that mean anything?” she said.

Cindy covered her mouth in surprise.
“Bitten? Oh no, she’s going to become one of them” she said.

Kylie sighed.
“You must be tired. I’ll see you both on Monday”she said.

Madison smiled and turned to leave but Cindy couldn’t get that news of Lilly being bitten off her head.

She turned also and slowly walked away.

“What are you thinking about?”

“Lilly. I don’t want her to be a wolf, she would become an enemy” Cindy cried out.

“Let’s just see what happens” Madison replied.

The witches cleared the chairs and went into the hangout.
They were all tired and sleepy.

Kylie had her bath and laid on the bed. She suddenly thought of Jasper. She remembered how she left him at the party and they never spoke again.

“Is he mad at me?” She asked herself and suddenly sat up.

“I should check on him” she said and walked towards his chamber.

“Jasper?” She called out.

There was no reply, but she could hear some rush in the room.
She peeped and saw him under his bed sheet, breathing hærd.

She turned and left to her own room.

During breakfast, Jasper didn’t even stare at Kylie. He ate a little from his chicken and went to his room.

“What happened to Jasper?” Elina asked.

“I have no idea, I need to find out” Kylie said and stood up.
She walked up to his room and barged in,side.

“Why are you avoiding me?” She asked and folded her arms.

Jasper stole glances from her.
“I’m not avoiding anyone” he replied.

“Yes, you are. You heard my voice last night and what you could do is to rush to your bed and pretend to sleep. Seriously Jasper?”

“I just want to be left alone. Okay?!” He almost yelled at her.

Kylie smirked.
“Is it because of the wolves existence? You are scared” she said with her teary eyes. She never expected Jasper to yell at her.

Jasper ignored her questions and continued staring at the walls.

“Fine. I’ll let you be” Kylie said and turned to leave.

She felt someone holding her back.
“Please don’t go!”

She saw Jasper, holding her.
“Why? You said you wanted to be left alone”

“I’m sorry. I’m just worried about you” he said.

Kylie held his hand.
“I’m fine Jasper. I can take care of myself” she said.

“What if you weren’t a demigod? How would you protect yourself? I just stood there last night watching like an idiot. I couldn’t assist you in any way”

Kylie smiled and k-sed him.
Jasper placed his hands on her w–st and went deeper with the k-s.

“I’m fine Jasper. You with me is enough. You don’t need to help me with anything” she said.

Jasper smiled.

Suddenly, someone entered the room and they quickly separated from each other.

“The human from yesterday is here to see you”

“Lilly? Why is she here?” She asked herself and went away.
Jasper also followed her behind.

They got outside the hangout and saw Lilly waiting impatiently.

“Lilly?” Kylie called out and ran to her.

“Kylie. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I feel weird and I…”

“Calm down girl. How’s your wound?” She asked.

“That’s it. How’s my wound? Check it out yourself!” Lilly raised her shirt and showed Kylie her clean w–stline. There was no scar or anything.

She was surprised.
“Wow, it’s all gone. That mean, you are a werewolf now”

“Were you bitten?” Jasper asked and Lilly nodded.

“I can smell things and.. wait, who ate chicken?”

Jasper raised his hands.
“I did!”

“I can smell it and I can even hear your heartbeat and I don’t know, it all feels good and bad at the same time” she said.

“I know. You love your new powers and you are scared that the wolves would be after you. Yes, you are right. They would, they want you to be part of their pack just as they want me”

Jasper sighed.
“The wolves need you two. There has to be a reason”

“What could it be?” Lilly asked.

“What if they want to get Lilly on their side so they would be able to get me!”

“Exactly. They would use a bait to catch a prey. Lilly is the bait while, you Kylie, you are the prey”
