Kylie walked to her room. She saw Jasper laying on the bed, waiting for her.
She walked to her table mirror and started applying her lotion.
“Allison told me about the seniors”
“I see” Kylie replied.
“Sean also saved her from them” he added and Kylie nodded.
“Yeah, so?” She said, glaring hard at him.
He sat up and returned the glare to her.
“I’m worried okay, I’m worried. I know you’ve been searching for him all this years and finally you’ve found him. Don’t forget that he has been with Charlie for nineteen years. Are you going to go back with him?”
“I understand what you mean hunnie, I’m not going back to Charlie. I was never with him. If Sean wants to get back with me, he has to choose between I and his father” she said and continued with her lotion.
Jasper sighed and laid back on the bed. For some reason, he didn’t like that Sean was found. He would have a step son.

“Bye Mom!” Allison yelled as she alight from her mother’s car. She walked into the school, straight to her locker.
She saw as those senior who abducted her yesterday watched her from distance. They were badly injured. Some wore bandage. She slowly placed her bag in the locker and took her books.
“I wish I didn’t assist you guys, now look at my body! F*ck!!” One of the senior complained.
“I wonder what type of creature Sean is. How did he even…argh!”
“Here he comes!”
They saw as Sean walked towards them. They quickly turned their face away from him.
Sean saw them and wore mockery smile on his face.
He just walked pass them.

Sean waited outside the hangout waiting for Hazel.
He sat on a log, staring at his phone repeatedly.
“Am I late?”
He turned and saw Hazel, looking beautiful as ever.
“No, I was early” he said.
She giggled.
“They are having a meeting inside. You should come in” she said.
“Do you think it’s right for me to be part?” He asked.
She just held his hand, staring at him.
“Let’s go!” She said and pulled him.
They got to the rock. Sean watched as Hazel did her magic. The rock opened and they walked into the hangout.
“Wow” he murmured.
They stood behind, even if they couldn’t see the speaker.
But Sean could recognize his mother’s voice.
“Is my mom here?”
“Yes, her husband is also here” she replied.

“…so, I’m sure he could attack anytime. There are hundred of them or even more. What if they attack at any f*cking time? What are we going to do? We are just going to submit ourselves because they are stronger than us. Luckily, I’ve found their weakness!”
They all started to murmur. They were happy that Kylie has found something about the Specie.
“Everyone should be silent please…”
They all kept quiet.
“Thank you. The couple of days that I’ve seen Charlie, the months I’ve been with him. He’s been away from the sun. That means, he’s weak under the sun that’s why he choose to remain in a cave just like the rest of the Species. If we have to attack him, we have to make sure that it’s a sunny day. So his weakness is sun”
“And women!!”
They all heard a voice from behind. They turned and found Sean. They couldn’t tell who he was except Kylie.
A smile crept on her face. She signalled him to come forward and he did. The crowd made way for him.
“Incase you all are confused, this is my son Sean. My long lost son” she said.
They all gasped. Some of them knew he was the Specie son.
“I know some of you are not happy that I’m here but I’m here to help. I’m not like my father, I’m different from him. If there’s anyone I’d want to be with, it’s you mom” he said.
Kylie smiled.
“Sean is now part of us and I trust him. If Charlie tries to act smart with us again, we won’t hesitate to go on with our plan. Got it!!”
“Got it!!” They yelled.
“This meeting is now over” she said and everyone started leaving the hangout.
Jasper walked to Sean and shook hands with him.
“Hey Sean”
“Hello to you too” he replied.
“It’s nice to finally meet you. I wanted to thank you for saving my daughter” he said.
Sean then realized that he was his mother’s husband.
“Oh, Allison’s your daughter?” He asked and Jasper nodded.
“Then I guess you’ll be my new step dad”
Jasper heard that and gave a soft chuckle.
“Step dad? Cool!” He said and looked away.
“I’m glad that you’ve met each other, finally!” Kylie said.
“Yeah, we have” Jasper replied and placed her hands over Kylie’s shoulder.
“We should go now. It’s almost midnight” he said.
“Bye Sean, see you soon” Kylie hugged Sean and left with Jasper.

Hazel walked to Sean and slipped her hands into his hand.
“Wanna see my chamber?” She asked.
“Uh, sure!” She said and they left to Hazel’s room.

“It’s really beautiful” he murmured.
“Oh, cut it out. It’s not really pretty” she said and sat on the bed.
Sean sat beside her also.
“What about your parents?” He asked.
“My mom’s out of the city and my dad’s dead” she said.
“Oh, I’m sorry” he said.
“It’s alright. It’s long forgotten” she murmured and stared at him.
They both stared at each other for some seconds, drawing their faces close to each other.
Their nose touched each other as they felt each other warm breathe.
Hazel quickly snapped out of the thought of kissing him and stood up.
“I’m sorry”
Sean sucked his lips and also sprung up.
“No, I’m sorry” he said.
“It’s late. I think you should go now. Your father must be looking everywhere for you” she said.
“Yeah, I should probably leave” he said and turned to leave the chamber.
“Uh, you must be free tomorrow. You can visit me in the morning” she said and he nodded.
“It’s a date then”
“Yeah!” She whispered, clenching her palms together happily.
He smirked and left her room.

“I know you don’t like Sean!” Kylie said as Jasper drove out of the woods.
“Is it obvious?” He asked, staring at her.
“Yeah it is. If he finally gets to stay with us when all this is over, you will get to like him” she said.
“I hope so” he said.
Suddenly, the light spotted someone in the forest. He stood right in their way.
“Jasper!” Kylie yelled. He quickly hit the brakes. The car came to an abrupt end.
Kylie quickly came down from the car and walked to the front. They didn’t see any sign of anyone.
“What the…”
“Kylie, did you see anyone?” Jasper asked.
Kylie walked towards him and touched his head.
“You are injured. Let’s leave from here, no one is here” she said and wanted to enter the car.
They saw Charlie sitting on the car.
“Well, well, well! Look who we have here!” He said and jumped down.
Kylie frowned. She wanted to walk towards him to attack him but couldn’t. It was like some power was stopping her.
“I..I can’t move!” She said.
“That’s because I’m controlling you baby” he said with mockery smile on his face. He walked towards her, touching her face.
“Get you hands off me you b**tard!” She yelled.
“I told you to stay out my way. I warned you right? But you didn’t listen. You’ve forgotten that I can control you anytime I want”
“Let us go Charlie, I promise that we would stay out of your way!” Jasper said, pleading. He didn’t like Charlie at all. He was really scared of him and his weird powers.
Charlie laughed. His dark powers could be seen around him.
How Kylie wished that it was during the day all this even happened, she would have beaten him up till he die.
“Let go of me!!” She yelled again.
Charlie snapped his finger and Kylie fell on the floor.
She was breathing hard, glaring hard at Charlie.

It almost worked on him but he was stronger.
She managed to raise him up and throw him to a tree.
“Come on, let’s go!” She yelled and rushed to the car.
“Argh!” Jasper groaned. Jasper was too slow to reach the car.
Charlie grabbed him by the neck, holding him high.
“In twenty seconds, your sweet husband will die!” He said.
Kylie started shivering. She didn’t want to loose Jasper the second time. Even if he dies and later comes back in another form. What will happen to his job, children.
“Please Charlie, let him go. It’s me you need and not him” she said.
Charlie laughed again and tightened his fist.
“Five seconds more!”
“Just let him go, I’ll do whatever you want!” She said as Jasper’s groaning became unbearable to hear.
“Why don’t you pick on someone your own size!!!”

They all turned and saw Sean leaning on a tree. He had a stick in his mouth. He was chewing slowly.
Charlie threw Jasper away and he hit his back against a tree.
“Oh Jasper!” Kylie quickly ran to him. She helped him place his head on her laps.
“I’m so sorry” she said as got tear ran down her cheek.
Jasper wore a mocking smile.
“It’s okay, I’m fine” he whispered.
“What are you doing here Sean? Aren’t you supposed to be at home?” Charlie asked.
Sean threw the stick away and spat out.
“What do you mean by that? Am I your slave?” He asked.
“Go home!” He yelled.
Sean couldn’t believe that his father was saying that.
“Stay away from my mother!” Sean growled.
Kylie watched as his eyes turned to a pure black color. He was already turning into his monster form, just like his father.
“Sean, no! Don’t do anything stupid!” Kylie said softly.
Sean calmed down and stared at his mother.

Charlie clapped his hands.
“Wow! Wow! Wow! So beautiful. What a reunion! This is just the beginning Kylie. If you don’t do as I say, your family’s life is at the tips of my finger. At a snap of a finger, they are all gone! Farewell!” He said and ran away speedily.
Sean walked towards Kylie.
“Don’t listen to him, he won’t do anything. I promise to protect you mom”
“You can protect us by staying away” Jasper said angrily and walked towards his car. He stopped halfway and turned to face Sean.
“Thanks for saving my life” he said and staggered into the car.
Kylie touched Sean’s face.
“I won’t stay away from you Sean. But for now, we should stay away just because of my family, our family. Allison’s party is next weekend, be there!” She said and left.
Sean watched as she entered into the car and drove off. He didn’t divert his gaze till the car disappeared into thin air.

They got home after some minutes.
“How are you feeling?”
“I’ll be fine” Jasper answered and quickly alight from the car.
He walked straight into the house.
Kylie sighed heavily and followed him behind. She understood everything he was feeling. She could read his mind. Even if he doesn’t her or talk to her. She could tell what he wants.
Kylie paid the nanny as she left. She locked the door behind and went to Josh’s room.
He was fast asleep.
She covered him well and closed the window.
After which she went to Allison’s room.
Allison was still awake.
“Hey baby!”
“You are late mom” Allison said. She was writing a list as she sat on her bed.
“I’m sorry” Kylie just said not to expand any more problem.
“It’s fine. How was your dinner?”
“Complicated… What are you making?” She asked.
Allison gave it to her mother to check it out.
“Oh I see. An invitation!”
“Yes. I don’t want some bad ass b!tch in my party” she said.
“No swearing Allison. I’ll say, it’s a good idea”
“Thanks mom!”
“You should sleep now. You have to go for some shopping tomorrow”
She nodded and slept on her bed, covering herself with her duvet. She closed her eyes, trying to sleep. Immediately Kylie left the room, Allison sprung up and locked her door from behind.
She grabbed her phone and texted someone.
“All clear, you can come in now!”
After some minutes, Gabriel appeared in her room through the window.
A smile crept on Allison’s face.
“You are late dummy!” She whispered and walked towards him, placing her hands on his shoulders.
“I’m sorry baby” he replied and started kissing her with his hands under her night robe.
“Why are we doing this now? We could do this after your birthday” Gabriel said.
She shook her head.
“I don’t want to be an eighteen year old virgin. So please f*ck me!”
“Your wish is my command” Gabriel said and continued kissing her. He tore his shirt and took off his pants.
Allison pulled away from him and pushed him on the bed.
She started taking off her night gown slowly as she was left with her panties.
“You like what you see?” She asked.
Gabriel stared at her from head to toe.
“Oh yeah, I love what I see” he said.
Allison jumped on him and started kissing him.

Gabriel followed Sean to the woods the next morning.
“You f*ck my step sister?!”
“Shhh, keep it low!” Gabriel whispered.
“What? Who’s gonna listen to our conversation? Birds, trees? Why didn’t you tell me you liked her?”
“I couldn’t tell you because it was sudden. It started when we rescued her that day. We spent some time in the car alone while waiting for you then the chemistry started” he said.

Sean shook his head in disbelief and kept on walking.
“A**hole!”
“She’s really cool”
Sean quickly grabbed his neck and pinned him on a tree.
“What the f*ck?! What are you doing?”
“It’s just a warning. If you ever hurt my sister, I’ll kill you just like this”
“What?”
“Got it??” He yelled.
“Fine. I won’t!” Gabriel yelled. He started coughing after he let go of him.
“Let’s go dude”
Gabriel can’t believe he still called him dude after trying to call him in the name of warning.
“Where are we going?”
“To visit the witch” she said.
“What witch?”
“My.. she’s my..”
“Girlfriend? You’ve fallen in love with a witch?”
“What makes you think so? I didn’t say she’s my girlfriend. She’s just my friend” Sean said with confusion on his voice.
“Seem like I’ll go with what I said” Gabriel whispered.

“Good morning mom, hey Dad!” Allison said as she ran downstairs to the dinning table.
She brushed her fingers into Josh hair and ruffled it.
“Hey dude!”
“Hey sis!”
They did their siblings handshake and waited for their breakfast.
“Josh, are you ready to show your sister what surprise you got for her?” Kylie asked as she served breakfast.
“Not yet. I’ll give her on her birthday” Josh said and started eating.
“Tell me, what is it?” She asked.
“No Allison, you’ll see it on your birthday” he said.
“Urgh! I can’t wait. You know I hate surprises. I can’t just wait for it” she said and slammed the table.
“You’ll have to be patient on this one” Kylie said and sat to have her our breakfast. She repeatedly stared at Jasper. He was still no ready to talk to her. She ate silently, so did Allison and Josh.

“Why are we in front of this huge rock?” Gabriel murmured and touched it.
“We are here to dig out gold” Sean replied.
“What? I didn’t bring my digger. We will be so rich!”
“Shut up moron. This is the witches cave” he said.
“I never knew you’ll bring a friend”
They turned and saw sexy Hazel walking towards them.
They both opened their mouth in shock. Sean has seen her under the sunlight before. It was like he was staring at her shadow at night.
“Hey Hazel!” Sean greeted, snapping out of his thoughts.
Gabriel’s eyes was still fixed on her.
“H..hii” Gabriel stammered.
“Hello stranger” Hazel stylishly waved.
“Shall we?” She said and walked towards the rocky door.
She did her magic and the rock slowly divided.
Gabriel shot his mouth wide opened again.
“How did that happen? It’s so… awesome!” He muttered.
Hazel secretly rolled her eyes and they strolled in.

“Welcome to the spell room. Please don’t touch anything” she said.
They looked round, seeing so many potions and spell book.
It was just like a mixture of library and witch den.
“What’s this?” Gabriel asked, referring to a green potion as he touched it.
“No, don’t touch…”
Before she could complete her sentence, Gabriel fell on the floor.
“It’s a sleeping potion” she said and turned away from his body that was lying on the floor.
“When would he wake?”
“Next one hour!” She said and arranged some books in the library.
Sean smirked and walked towards Hazel. He leaned on the the table.
“What are you doing?” He asked.
“I was asked to arrange these books. It’s been three days now and I’m not done” she said.
“What are these books?” He asked.
“They are just old books about history and spells” she said and continued bringing out the books.
She dusted them and arranged them back.
As she took out an old book, some paper fell out.
He bent and picked them up.
“What’s this?”
Hazel turned and checked out the paper.
“Let me see” she said and opened it.
She saw some writings on it. It was in a strange language.
“What language is this?” She asked herself and walked to the chair. They sat down and stared at it.
“I don’t understand what it is” she said. The more she tried to translate, the more confused she gets.
“Let me see”
Hazel gave it to him. He stared at it for some seconds.
“History is the past that makes the.. present what it is today”
Hazel’s eyes glowed.
“Wow, you can translate it”
“That’s strange. I haven’t seen something like this before but I understand it”
“Then it’s because you have a special ability” she said with a beautiful smile on her face.
