Tesa’s POV
Tesa”
I rolled up the curtains and looked through it.
Roonie!
“Ronnie” I exclaimed.
“Why are you here? What are you doing here?”
By my window instead of coming in through the entrance door.
By the way, why did he come here after making me look and feel like a fool earlier.
“Help me up Please, Pull me” He said, kinda struggling to climb.
I got an hold of his two hands and pulled him in.
Still surprised to see him here.
He and Sister doesn’t even believe me.
“So why did you come here…?” I was about to question him or send him away b’cos I’m a little bit upset with him…
“Shhh” He shushed placing his middle finger on my l-ips.
“She might hear you, she might hear us..she might know I’m here.. Shh” He said.
Oh Goodness, He believes me..
“Help me up” He mouthed and I quickily rolled and hung the curtains well. so that he would be able to climb through the window conveniently.
“I’m sorry for passing through the Windows instead of the knocking on the entrance door like a normal person would do” He said.
“Ok Okk” I sighed heavily.
“Do you know it’s not safe here and it’s very late ” I said.
“I’m sorry for not believing you earlier. Where’s it? ” He asked as if he’s ready to destroy it ~ Sheherazade.
“She’s everywhere. Christ, I’m so scared of the rest of my dolls” I whimpered placing a palm on my chest.
Even after heaving several times, I was still breathing too fast, so I managed to relax my worried nerves so as to speak with Ronnie.
“She just left my room now” I said..
“Yet she is everywhere, she knows when her name is mentioned, so let’s avoid mentioning her name” I told him.
“Sheherazade, the evil Egyptian thing is In your new doll? ” He asked like he wanted to be really sure.
“Yes. I’ll show you when it’s aroynd. Ok, so now that you came here, what are we gonna do? It ain’t easy to destroy it… It’s a spirit, Evil spirit remember? ” I told him.
“Yes, I knew before Coming here that I wasn’t coming to fight an human. Since you said Sheherazade is in your new doll, makes it more easier” He said.
“How?? ” I stared at him confusedly.
“Oops, I didn’t tell Granny and Rennie that I would spend this long” He said glancing at his time.
“How?? ” I asked again.
“Damn it. You are not even a lover of Intercontinental News. So you might know much about Sheherazade”He replied.
“I’m not. But at least I’ve heard what Sheherazade has done to the Egyptians, to the eight priest” I told him.
“Not only that was told on the news. Immediately she destroyed the eight priest and their family…”
“And their family?? ” My eyes w¡dened.
“Yes, immediately she killed them, she disappeared from Egypt. An EgyptIan Shaman found out a way Sheherazade can be destroyed but since she’s no longer in Egypt, they are no longer bothered about destroying her” Ronnie briefly explained.
“You watched and heard the news, then what should we do? How can we destroy Sheherazade by ourselves?” I asked him.
“Fire! ”
“Fire? ” I repeated.
“Yes, Fire. The shamans found out the only excorsm that can destroy Sheherazade forever is Fire. Isn’t that easy? We’ll just set up Fire in the fire place and forcefully drag her into it” Ronnie said boastfully.
“Ronnie! If you think it’s as easy as this. Don’t you think she should have been destroyed long long ago by the Egyptians? ” I snapped at him.
“Like I said, It was immediately after Sheherazade vanished from Egypt, A solution was found. So let’s make use of it” He said.
“Ok Ok But Ronnie, we need to tell someone older than us, let’s tell my parents, I’m very fearful.. I’ve been trying to tell them but I can’t. It’s complicated but since you are aware of her too, then one of us can tell them. If I’m still unable to, You’ll try to. Ronnie, what we just suggested to do is very dangerous. Just the two of us can’t conquer Shehe…” He interrupted me.
“We can. I’m so courageous. I’m not a coward” He said.
“I know Ronnie, Listen Sheherazade is an Evil Spirit” I emphasised almost breathlessly.
He held my both hands, when he notice that I couldn’t stop trembling in fear.
“Zeph. We can do this, We can. Do you believe? Hold onto me. Trust me”
Ronnie said gazing into my eyes.
He’s just so brave but how and why would he be so brave to this extent ~ Attacking an evil spirit.
Can we do this? Can he do it?
Well, The warm touch from his hand ~ on mine and staring into his lovely eyes kinda diverted me away from what’s most important right now.
“Hello Cuties!” We heard her voice around my room.
It was only her voice we heard first before her appearance.. She suddenly showed up, smiling as she walked forward ~ towards us.
“Looks like we have someone New here. Theresa did you bring me meal? ” She asked walking closer to us, examining Ronnie’s face.
“No, Don’t hurt him at all” I quickly said and pulled Ronnie to my back but he pulled me instead to his back and stayed in front of me …~ Confronting Sheherazade.
“You’ll forever Be Gone! ” Ronnie yelled at her as if he were a exorcist and she laughed mischievously and began to stand on the air.
“Go set up the fire while i stay here stepping on her weak point, then I’ll make sure I lead her to the fire place” Ronnie whispered into my ears. I nodded in affirmation yet making no move to leave the room.
I had this fearful thought that we were doing what we aren’t supposed to do.
“You know what Sheherazade!” Ronnie faced her and talked to her fiercely.
“Looks like you know much about me! ” Sheherazade responded.
“You are nothing but the dumbest and weakest spirit ever! The human Egyptians are so stronger than you that you had to leave Egypt. You’re so weak that You couldn’t even show to us your real self rather than hiding in,side the body of a doll. You’re A loser! Or is your human form Ugly and you wanted a pretty body to make a use of? ” Ronnie said and I held his hand and squeezed it lightly ~ A kind of gesture that meant; Why did he say all that. He really hit her in a s₱0t that she wasn’t smiling or laughing anymore …and her eyeball had already turn red.
Obviously, why she was still human, she hates abusive words.
“Right I’m looking for Pretty body, I’ll leave this body soon and get into the body of your pretty twin sister. How about that? ” I noticed she forced out a false smile.
“Never. you’ll be gone instantly! ” Ronnie shouted bravely.
“Tesa, I said Set up the fire place” He shouted at me and I ran to my widely opened door.. But Before I could get there, It’s got shut…even when I tried to turn the knob.. It won’t open.
Seems like, my room has also gotten darker, darker than normal night time.
“Die!! ” Sheherazade scre-med and my room suddenly became windy.
She stretched her hand towards Ronnie’s neck, physically her hand wasn’t reaching his neck but spiritually and invincibly it was.
She raised him up, above the floor and Ronnie began to struggle with his neck.
“Stop it! Sheherazade!” I scre-med and she faced me.. I saw in her eyes, Fire dancing around her eyeball.
She stretched her other hand towards me…I could feel the mighty hand strangling my neck while I struggle for freedom…before I knew it, my legs weren’t touching the ground too.
“Ple..ase..” I managed to say.
“Pleas..e” Ronnie emulated.
God! I got Ronnie into this… I caused all this myself.
“Stay aside! ” Sheherazade warned me and her voice sounded more like an old woman’s voice this time.
Without any physically touch or contact , she flung me away and my back hit the door and my butt sharply landed on the floor.
Ouch! I gro-ned
She continue to strangle Ronnie (spiritually) while innocent Ronnie fought for his life (physically).
“Please.. Stop” I managed to say ‘cos my throat hurts badly.
She moved him from the wall to the window, with his legs still not touching the ground.
I didn’t realize what she was trying to do till I saw him Out of the window.
I mean, he was no longer in my room but outta my room, I could see him through the window. She was still making him stand on the air.
What? What? Is she trying to throw him out? What if he dies or break his bone or…
“Pl…..ea….. seeee” Ronnie emphasised.
And she laughed mischievously and said; “Bye”
She released him.. ~ letting him fall to the ground.
“Ronnnnnnnnnnieeee” I scre-med..
And quickly ran out of my room to go meet him outside.
