Steven, after thinking for so long was beginning to feel bewildered, who wouldn’t feel that way after sitting and speculating from 6 pm to 11:55 pm,

He slowly laid on the couch and was about to sleep off, without even saying a single word of prayer, when a knock came on his door, and all the dizziness varnished, who could be knocking for me this late,

He sat down and fear gripped him, he felt shivering sænsati0ns all over his body,
His phone started to ring, picking it up, he checked and saw that his pastor was calling him,

Why could he possibly call me by this time he contemplated, before answering the call,
Hello sir, good evening, “he said immediately after he picked the call,

Open up to me, am the one knocking,” the pastor said and hangs the call,
My pastor at my door by this time? What’s really happening,” he used the phone light to find his way to the door,

He opened and truly, his pastor stood there, and his car parked by the side.

Welcome sir, what an unexpected visit” he confesses as the pastor steps in,

bolt back your door and come quickly for there’s no time, “the pastor and he bolted it immediately,

Give me your two hands,” the pastor said, and Steven joined hands with him,

Now say after,

Eternal Father, king of glory,” the pastor said, and Steven repeated,

Your word said, come let’s reason together, though your sin be dark as scarlet,” the pastor said and he repeated,

Therefore I’ve come before you this midnight with my stained and polluted heart,” the pastor said and he repeated,

I’ve sinned and fallen short of your glory,” the pastor said and, he repeated,

Please dear Lord,” the pastor said and he repeated,

Accept me back and wash me with the blood of the lamb that was slain on the cross of Calvary,”

The pastor said and he repeated,

I promise not to give in to the temptation of the evil ones again,” the pastor said and he repeated,

But to stand still on the mighty rock, which is your word,”

The pastor said and he repeated,

let your grace always go with me in Jesus’ mighty name I pray…..

The pastor ended the prayer by thanking God for the forgiveness he granted Steven, and they sat quietly,

Steven felt so much better after the prayer, on your electricity light, the pastor said,

And he stood up immediately, walked straight to the switch, and turned it on,

That was when he discovered that the pastor was wearing his nightwear,

Steven, “the pastor called,

Be in the spirit, for something is about to happen,” the pastor still held his word when another knock came on the door,

Go and get the door, let whoever that is there to come in, but be in spirit,” the pastor said,

Steven was afraid but followed the pastor’s word, so he walked to the door, pulled back the bolt, and twisted the door knob only to see Esther dressed in the s-xiest way,

He wanted to admire her but remembered the pastor’s word,” be in spirit,

So he closed his eyes of lust, Esther what are you doing here this late? “He asked confusedly,

Are you going to let me in or not,” she said and smiled sed-ctively,

Steven then shifted for her to enter before bolting the door,

When Esther got in, she drew back, looked around, and said, you’re not alone in this house?

And that was when Steven became scared because the pastor was nowhere to be found but Esther asked if he was not alone in the house,

Did, you see anyone? He asked and scanned the whole room but still, there was no Trace of the pastor,

No, but I see something, “who’s the owner of that book?” She asked and pointed at the pastor’s bible, kept on the table,

Esther you’re beginning to scare me again, “Steven said, not knowing what to answer her, for he considered that the pastor might have hidden for some reason,

Nevermind, she said and reactivated her sed-ctive smile,

So what did you say, you came to do,” Steven asked?

I went to a birthday party, and when I got back, I knocked and knocked on our door but no one opened, you know how dead my people can be while sleeping so I decided to come and pass the night here,” she elucidated innocently,
