A young woman also came out to welcome them,

When their eyes met they froze and stared at each other before the young woman moved closer,

Good evening ma’am, “Joy greeted,

How are you doing my daughter,” she asked and carried the baby from her,

I’m fine ma’am, what about you,” joy asked,

Who would ever be unfine in the house of a fine savior like him, “she replied and they all giggled, even though her English was incorrect but they knew what she meant,

You are just as beautiful as your mother, “she said to the new baby and joy blushed,

Please let’s go in,” Steve cut in,” Steve added,

Welcome to my house, “Steve said as they arrived in the parlor

Joy didn’t hear what he said, she was stunned by what she saw, are you sure am not in heaven?” Joy asked and they laughed uncontrollably,

That was just the same question I asked the first time I got here,” the young woman added and they laughed even the more,

Well, joy is not to be blamed cuz the house really looked a little like heaven, the design looked so classy,

I invited a pastor right now, he’s on the way coming here,

So let’s do whatever we want to do and wait for his arrival.

Hours later

The twins were sleeping peacefully in their new room, joy was just staring at them with mixed feelings, she was so worried about something but doesn’t know what’s that she was worried about,
Just feeling unsafe and incomplete,
She was still drawn in thoughts when a came on the door,

The door is not locked, “joy informed and the door opened almost immediately and the young woman entered,

How are you feeling? “she asked,

Better, ‘” joy replied,

The pastor is here, I don’t know if you can manage to the living room or I tell them to come here,

No, not to worry, I can manage, “joy answered and stood up,

As they got to the living room, the pastor on seeing them stood up and s¢ræmed Jesus,

He started praying immediately,

Even the bible said, light and darkness have nothing in common, so why will there be darkness in the matrimonial abode of light?
I command you evil spirit to vacate these bodies and return to your sander in Jesus’ name,

Immediately the pastor mentioned Jesus, Joy felt something leaving her body at great speed, all her body shook vigorously that she lost balance and was to crash her weak self on the floor but thank goodness Steve was able to catch her halfway,

She was not the only felt like that, the young woman also felt that way and wanted to crash on the floor too but the pastor also caught hold of her,

Thank you, Jesus, the pastor said,

It’s just for a while, let’s lay them on the couch,” the pastor replied.

Why are they not moving, “Steve asked in fear,

It’s just for a while, let’s lay them on the couch,” the pastor replied.

What really happened to them,” Steve asked after they’ve laid them on the couch,

They were put under a spell, the spell was to make them forget everything about themselves, their name, location, and so on, but thanks to the almighty the proved himself in this matter,

But who could have done this and why? “Steve asked as he imagined how he would treat whoever was responsible for that,

But the pastor said, “Steve, this is not the time for that, let’s just give glory to God for what he did today,

But whoever did it has a wicked mind and needs to be punished for the wicked act, “Steve protested,

Let’s leave everything in the hand of God, he’s the one that has the right to judge the affairs of humanity,

Ok pastor, “Steve replied and rested his elbow on one couch,

Few minutes later, joy yawned and sat up, she looked back and saw two people staring and smiling at her,

Memories began to flashback,
She recalled begging in the street, being pregnant and everything that happened in the past,

She looked at the young woman and this time, she recognized her,
Mom, she echoed happily,
And went quickly to where she was laid,

She opened her eyes when joy touched her on the forehead,

Joy, “she called in disbelief,

Yes, mom,

She got up in haste and they embraced each other happily,

Is this really you? How did you get here? “She fired joy with questions,

Mom, I should be the one asking you those questions,
How come you ended here, I remembered when Esomchi hospital was on fire, and you were there,
And Mr kunle (daddy tope) said you’ve been transferred to a hospital in Maryland, so how did you get here, “joy asked confusedly,

My daughter, it’s a long story, “Mrs. Mary said sadly,

Mom, this is not a Nollywood movie, don’t make it short cuz I’m not in a hurry and right now I’m so confused,

Hmm,” her mom sighed and started her narration,

When Esomchi hospital was on fire, I wasn’t aware of anything that happened,
All I can remember till now was finding myself in this house,

I think all the questions should be directed to him,” she pointed at Steve and continued, cuz I don’t have any details of what happened, he was even the one that told me about the fire,

Hmmm, you people should clear my mind before it bursts out,” joy said and fell on the couch like a wounded lion,

Steve then, cleared his throat and started his own narration,

Well, the man you see here is my very good friend and father in the Lord,

Immediately after he said that joy and her mother raised their head and Saw something confusing,

Wait, pastor Marcus is that you?, “Mrs. Mary asked unbelievably,

Pastor Marcus was the pastor that joy tried to call when her mother was still in the hospital,

Yeah, this is me, sister Mary,” the pastor replied and smiled widely,

I’m getting more confused, “joy divulged,

Well you don’t need to,” the pastor said, Joy, I was the one that carried your mother away from the hospital, it happened that after speaking with you on the phone that day, I entered my car and was driving to your place, but when I was near esomchi hospital, I noticed that little smoke was coming out of the roof,

Without much delay, I parked by the side and ran into the hospital, I notified the personnel and everybody ran for their lives, it took me time to locate where your mother was laid but I did, and when I was carrying her out, the fire was already becoming too much,
But glory to God I managed to come out safely only that the back of my clothes was burnt,

I rushed her to another hospital in Maryland, and I have a friend in Maryland who happens to be bro Steve,

So I kept her under the care of bro Steve because the distance from Maryland to our place is not bread and tea,

bro Steve was even the one that donated the blood, your mother lacked.
