Muchen stared at her the moment he stepped out of the bathroom, towel wrapped around his waist while he sat on the bed, Slight murmurs came out of her mouth, My gaze moved to her face, she looked troubled, hair scattered all over her face, hands clinging to the bed.
Moving closer to her, I had to touch her face multiple times before she woke up, a few drops of water on her cheek ” You were having a nightmare” I mumbled but the look in her eyes didn’t change, disgust, she was looking at me with disgust but that only lasted for few seconds before they went void

” No ” she sat up and looked at me ” I just keep getting confused with all these new memories coming to my head, I don’t understand it all ” her eyes filled with tears “Why will I allow myself to get banished because of you and you lied to me ” hearing those words confirm my suspicion, she truly is crystal

” Good ” Nodding my head, I move my hands to her lips and Rob them slowly “We should probably go to bed now, tomorrow will be a long day for us ”

I blinked thrice before staring finally at lord Muchen, he looked so sound asleep, so calm and not annoying, what happened last night hit me, I could feel my face get hot with each flashback of memory I got.

When his gaze met my eyes again, it was pure desire ” Jing ” he smiled, quite seductively ” Have I ever told you how hot you are?” I still couldn’t talk “Come, let me wash you off an……” He stopped talking when he realized how small the bathroom was and only two buckets filled with water “Don’t tell me there is no bathing tub, how am I supposed to use a bucket to bath you?” He looked at me confused and I couldn’t help but burst out laughing ” Jing ”

” Am the king” he growls and I nod
” Yes, and am your queen ” Furrowing my brows, he exhales.
” Am just saying that there is no way I can use this to take my bath, how am I supposed to sit in that small bucket?”

Walking out of the chamber fully dressed, I stare at Fang who is giving me a suspicious look “Milady, are you heading out? Alone?”
” Oh no, lord Muchen will be down in a minute ” I mumble and look at her ” Is something wrong?”
” Of course not milady ” she moved close ” I prepared breakfast”
” I thought there was nothing home”
” I step out for a while to get…..” I wave my hands, cutting her short, if Muchen hears of this, we won’t step out of the house, I want to show him around
” Don’t let the king hear of this, we will be back soon for breakfast ”
” Milady, you need food for your condition, you are currently low on blood, and your face is pale ”
” I know that fang, I will eat outside ” Footsteps made me shut her up, Muchen stepped down, his hair tied in a high ponytail, he wore western clothes, black trousers, and black long sleeves, he looked really good
” Shall we?” He held my hand, and didn’t wait for my permission before drawing me outside the house and into the busy streets ” This place looks unhealthy ” he growled “The specks of dust seem to be increasing ”
” We could use a carriage?” He looked at me after I said that
” It seems to me that you don’t want that ”
” No ”

” I wish to show you around ”
” Then let me fulfill your wish “Why is he being so sweet, I know he came yesterday saying he needs me back in his life, we talked about a lot of things but I never expected him to treat me so kindly, looking at him, I could help but to smile, is this what it means to have a loving husband?

” I adore you ” he smiled, he still wasn’t sure of his feelings, am glad he wasn’t lying anymore, before we could step further into the marketplace, that tailor was right in front of Muchen
My gaze travels to Muchen’s face and I frown at the look of recognition ” Alexander ” he growls and the tailor who happens to be Alexander just smiles but hatred evident in his eyes
” Who would have thought I would see you here ” he smiled “My dear cousin”
Muchen stares at him, the way his eyebrows elevate with each word he speaks ” I didn’t expect to see you here”
” I would say the same thing ”
” This is not the palace ” he grinned” Why are you here with no guards, aren’t you scared?”
” Scared?” I fake a laugh and then look at him “You call yourself my cousin, tell me why I will be scared of you?”
” It’s simple” I watch him move away from Jing and closer to my direction, the hatred is still evident in our eyes, it suddenly feels like the whole people in the marketplace has vanished, just me and him, not in a friendly gaze ” I have dreamed of bringing you to your knees for centuries”
Nodding my head I grin ” I would like to see you try ” my eyes lower to watch him clench his hands ” but then, am sure the feeling is mutual ”
” Enough!!!!!” Jing interjects and I step back a little ” I don’t know what this is about but enough with the stare, enough with those stupid grins and false laughter ”
” What do you speak about?” Alexander smiled while looking at Jing “We are being sincere with our feelings, I would love to see your husband dead and you naked on my bed”
After that statement, my anger level increased.
