The quest episode 3 – 4

THE QUEST (A Quest for Power)

Chapter 3

Dontizu and Dona were seeing moving along a Bush part.
Dona carried a little bag made of leaves in one of her shoulders. Dontizu suddenly halt prompting Dona to stop also.

Dontizu: Just remember all I have told you. When you do all what I have say, you will be safe.

Dona: Yes mother.

Dontizu: Don’t forget where you came out from is far different from theirs. In that bag you are holding, there is a crystal ball in there, where we will be communicating with each other.

Dona: Okay mother. I have to be on my way now (turn to leave when Dontizu grab hold of her hand. Dona stopped and look back at Dontizu) What is it again mother?

Dontizu: (A serious look on her face as she stare at Dona in her eyes) Don’t ever betray me, if you do, regardless that you are my daughter, I will kill you, and you know what I am capable of doing?

Dona: (Rolling her eyeballs) Yes mother, I do remember what you can do. Now if you don’t mind I think it’s time for me to go.

Dontizu: (looked on as Dona continued along the path alone. She said aloud) Always remember that the mortals has no truth in them, they are very dangerous and capable of telling lies. Do not ever in your wildest dream listen to any of them. (Dona kept walking neither acknowledging what Dontizu told her or nodding her head. Dontizu kept staring at Dona till she was out of sight.) Safe journey my child. (She whispered to herself as she went back to home, patiently waiting for Dona return). Before she gets to know the truth, I would by then have the Magical Stone with me.

THE QUEST (A Quest for Power)

Chapter 4

Princess Shaba was in her room with Tasha, who was seen arranging the room.

Tasha: (Arranging things, in the princess room only to look up and saw the Princess thinking, her face in a deep thought). My princess, the beautiful princess of Ampoka Kingdom. Why is the bright morning star of this great kingdom has that look on her face?.

Princess Shaba: (Breathing deep) My visions are not clear anymore like they use too. I sense evil coming to this kingdom, but at the same time, I can’t see what is coming. I think I am losing my powers.

Tasha: May the gods of Ampoka forbid it. My Princess you are not in anyway losing your powers. There has to be a reason for it. Remember you are the light guiding Ampoka kingdom. If the princess of this great kingdom loses her powers, then we all in Ampoka kingdom is Doom. You know that my Princess.

Princess Shaba: You don’t get it Tasha. This has never happened to me before, maybe I am now growing weak as the days passes by.

Tasha: Don’t be too hærd on yourself my princess. It will eventually show itself. Just focus on your self first.

Princess Shaba: You are right my friend, thank you Tasha.

Tasha: You are welcome my princess, you and I… (A knock from the door stops Tasha from proceeding with what she had wanted to say And rather said) come in (the door opened to reveal one of their palace guard who walked in and bow down before them. Tasha looking irritated) Yes Paa, what is it?

Paa: Eyes of the princess I greet you, my Princess I greet you. The king require of your presence my princess. He said I should let you know that it is an urgent matter which needed your attention immediately my princess.

Princess Shaba: Tell my father that I will join him soon. You may go now (Paa bowed his head again and left the room) We have to go (Tasha took hold of one of the Princess hand and lead them out of the room to the palace)

The king, his queen and three elders of Ampoka Kingdom were seen discussing the affairs of the kingdom.

King: My elders I greet you all, thank you for honoring my invitation to come quickly.

All Elders: Your highness may you live long.

King: The reason why I called you all here is for me to tell you that my daughter Shaba saw a vision last night.

1st Elder: A vision? What is the vision all about?

King: She said a great evil is coming towards this kingdom that we all have to be very careful now.

2nd Elder: Evil? Well let that evil come, we are going to defeat it as we have defeated others before.

Queen: That is what we are afraid of, the vision wasn’t clear this time.

3rd: What!!? How? That can’t be possible.

King: That is why I had invited you all here, so that we can tackle this matter togeth…….(Two men came into the throne room, where the meeting was been held. One was gravely injured).

1st Elder:(On sighting blood, he exclaimed) What is this? Omiku and Oki what happened? Why is Omiku bleeding? Who did this to him?

Oki: My king I greet you, my queen I greet you, my elders I also greet you (They all nodded their heads) I and my brother went to fetch water when an unknown whirl wind came and blow him away from the stream. I searched for him everywhere around the nearest river surrounding Ampoka and I found him bleeding like this near Ka river, the one down at the outskirts of Ampoka. Please your majesty don’t make my brother die.

King: May the gods forbid it (Turning to one of his guards) Paa go and call me the Princess and tell her to come that it is an urgent matter.

Paa: Yes your highness (he left their presence)

3rd Elder: It is okay Oki, sit down your brother will be fine again.

Queen: Sorry my son (Princess Shaba walked into the throne room, Tasha leading her to the king)

Princess Shaba: Father, you sent for me. Why is there blood here? Who has the blood that I can perceive, who is injured?

Queen: My daughter, Omiku was attacked by a whirl wind which had injured him.

Princess Shaba: A whirl wind? Hmm, I see. Tasha take me to him.

Tasha: Yes my princess (She grab hold of the Princess hands and lead her to where Omiku was, she placed the princess hand in Omiku head).

Princess Shaba: I heal you Omiku, son of this soil (The wound disappeared immediately and everyone in the room began to sing praises to their gods).

Omiku: I can’t feel my pains anymore, Oki I am healed (Turned to look at the Princess) My Princess, thank you so much. Thank you for saving my life in the hands of death. I shall forever be grateful (He kneels down before the Princess).

Princess Shaba: Stand up and do not kneel before me for I am just like you. Rather give praises to the gods of Ampoka not me.

Omiku: Okay my princess. My princess there has to be a way for me to repay you the kindness you have showered on by saving me from death.

Princess Shaba: The days are coming by when your help shall be needed Omiku son of Gobi, when that day arrives you will repay me back with your help. You can go. Father I take my leave now (Bowing her head) Tasha let’s go (Tasha took her by her hand and lead her out of the throne room to the Princess room).

King: Omiku and Oki you can go, may the gods of Ampoka be with you (They both prostrate before the king and his cabinet elders).

Oki: My king may your reign last forever.

Elders: Yaaaaaaaaaa

Omiku: Thank you your majesty (They both left the throne room, leaving the Palace premises).

1st Elder: Truly your daughter is the strength of the gods.

King: Yes she is. Let us just hope that whatever evil is coming towards here, my daughter will be able to counter it

All Elders: Yaaaaaaaaaaaaa

3rd Elder: And so shall it be

All Elders: Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Dona came out of the forest she was in before and walked towards Ampoka Kingdom. After walking for a while she saw a young man, Pon, coming towards her way, she stops to asked him the way to Ampoka Palace.

Dona: Excuse me young man. It seems I don’t even know my way in here , can you help me?

Pon: Who are you? (Looks from her head to her toe) you look as if you are not from this kingdom, your dressing looks like those from the ancient days. Again I ask, who are you?

Dona: My name is Dona. I am searching for Ampoka Palace. I came from a very far distance, please tell me the way from here to Ampoka Palace.

Pon: You mean you are going to Ampoka Palace? The palace of Magic?

Dona: (Smiling down at the young man) Yes the same palace.

Pon: Okay. Take the road by your left down there( he said pointing at a road one meter away from them), till you get to the end of the road then you take the road by your left again. Just be going straight and you will see the Palace you are searching for. May the gods of our land lead you there (he said finished and continued his walking).

Dona: Thank you (then turned and started going towards the direction) Why need a gods to lead me when I am one. (Her eyes flashed).
