“I think I’m going to do something stupid right now” Romeo muttered still staring at her l-ips
“Huh?” Pearl asked unable to hear him clearly
Romeo cleared his throat and moved away
“We planned to watch some movies tonight,right?” He asked and Pearl’s eyes brightened
“Right!! Does that mean you’re no longer mad at me??” She asked
“I was never mad at you” Romeo replied
“I will go get the snacks….” She turned toward the door
Romeo grabbed her hand and pulled her back
“Let’s go together,it’s late” He said and rub her hair
She dropped her teddy and they walked out of the room together.
“I spoke with dad earlier” Romeo said when they got to the kitchen
“Really? So,when is he coming back?” Pearl asked
“Next week” Romeo replied and Pearl sighed
“I hope he will stay up to a week before leaving again” She muttered,picking the snacks one after the other
“Are you sure you will eat all that?” Romeo asked
Pearl Checked the bowl
“Oh…I was lost in thought” She immediately dropped some.
They got drinks and went back upstairs.
“What type of movie do you like?” Romeo asked as they both sat down
“Seriously? You don’t know what I like?” Pearl frowned and Faced him
“You watch anything” Romeo muttered and Pearl scoffed
“Seriously? I watch anything?? You really don’t know or you’re pretending?” She asked
Romeo thought for a while
“Honestly I don’t know,I didn’t know you have a choice,you love watching everything…..”
“Gosh brother you’re hurting my feelings,how can you not know your sisters favorite genre of movie?? Do you even love me like you claim?” Pesel asked
“Hey,what are you saying? Just because I don’t know what movie you love doesn’t mean I don’t love you Candy….”
“Don’t call me Candy anymore,it’s annoying” She said in tears and made to stand up
Romeo grabbed her hand
“What?”
“I’m sorry,you can tell me today and I won’t forget again” Romeo muttered and wipe her tears
Pearl burst into laughter
“I got you!” She said,still laughing
“What do you mean??”
“It was a prank and I got you” She said
“You know how much I hate seeing your tears” Romeo smiled
HOURS LATER
Pearl shifted closely into Romeo’s body,they are both sleeping on the bed already. She was fast asleep and kept on hugging him in her sleep,she’s fund of hugging things when she’s sleeping
Romeo opened his eyes and they fell on Pearl’s face which was just a little bit away from his.
He placed a short k-iss on her l-ips and wrapped his arm around her waist before closing his eyes again.
******
NEXT DAY>NOON**
Romeo walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge,he bought out a bottle of strawberry juice,that’s his favorite. He opened it and placed it on his l-ips,he was about sipping from it when Pearl came in
“Hey brother” She waved at him from where she’s standing.
Romeo’s eyes went all over her body,she was wearing a simple short gown but was looking crazily hot in it
He looked away and gulped down the drink in his hand before dropping it
Pearl walked closer
“Cherie?” She called
“Where are you going dressed like that?” He asked
“Oh,remember it’s Saturday. I’m going to Senior Sapphire’s house,I won’t be going alone though. Bonnie will be here soon” Pearl smiled
“Okay,be careful” Romeo muttered and left the kitchen
“What’s wrong with him? Is he worried?? Of course I will be careful” She muttered
Just then,her phone buzzed
“Oh,Bonnie” Pearl ran out of the kitchen and rushed out
Bonnie was just about to come in
“Pearl!!” She s¢ræmed and ran to hug her
“What happened? Am I safe?” Pearl asked
“No you’re not,now let’s go. I can’t wait! Which car are we taking?” Bonnie asked
“Seriously?” Pearl chuckled
They both entered the car and the driver drove out of the compound

SAPPHIRE’S PLACE**
“I will call you to come pick us when we are done” Pearl said to the driver
“Okay” He replied and drove off again
“Wow,Senior Sapphire’s house is nice” Bonnie said and took a picture
“Hey! If anyone see you taking pictures,they might get the wrong idea,come on” Pearl scolded and brought out her phone
She dialed Sapphire’s number
“Hey bunny,are you here already?” Sapphire asked
“Yes,outside” Pearl replied with a smile before hanging up
Soon,Sapphire came out
“Senior!!” Bonnie s¢ræmed
“Oh,you brought your friend,Nice. I wanted to introduce you to my cousin” Sapphire said and hugged Pearl
“Can’t wait” Pearl grinned
“What’s your name?” Sapphire turned to Bonnie
“I thought you won’t notice me” Bonnie muttered
“Oh no,I’m sorry about that.” Sapphire chuckled
“I’m Bonnie,Pearl’s best friend. Are we here for a party?” Bonnie asked,leading the way
“Not there,come here” Sapphire directed
“Oh sorry” Bonnie said and Pearl laughed
“I knew you would disgrace me” She said and Bonnie scoffed
They all entered the living room
“Wow,amazing” Bonnie muttered,checking everywhere immediately
“Sapphire,is she here?!” Lyric called as she climbed down the stairs
She stopped when she saw Pearl
“Oh,I guess you’re Pearl” She said
“Yes I am” Pearl smiled
“Wow,you look really beautiful. Are you really a junior student?” Lyric asked and Pearl nodded
“I knew you would like her” Sapphire smiled
Lyric saw Bonnie who was still wandering around
“I guess it’s not her first time here” Lyric said
“It’s her first time,she’s my friend” Pearl said
“I heard my name,oh hi” Bonnie greeted Lyric
“How come junior girls are prettier than the seniors?” Lyric asked
“Awwwn” Bonnie touched her cheeks and they laughed
“Would you girls love some burger?” Sapphire asked
“Baby fire, I’ve been begging for that since last sunset but you refused” Lyric snapped
“It’s for Pearl and Bonnie” Sapphire winked at her and grabbed Pearl’s hand
“Don’t you dare reject anything here” She said and touched her hair
“I wouldn’t do that,I promise” Pearl crossed her heart
“Seriously?” Bonnie laughed
“Wow,I can see some of your paintings already senior Sapphire” Pearl said,pointing at the wall
“Oh that,that’s Billie Eilish,she’s my celebrity role model” Sapphire smiled
“Wow,you’re so good! I thought it was a picture,it’s a painting?” Bonnie asked
“Yeah” Sapphire smiled
“Do you have a painting room?” Pearl asked
“Of course I…..” Before she could finish,Pearl and Bonnie rushed out
“They don’t even know where the room is,why are they running?” Sapphire chuckled and grabbed the burgers and yogurt before walking out of the kitchen,she met Pearl and Bonnie about coming back
“I guess you can’t find the room” Sapphire said and they nodded
“Come with me” She said,leading the way
She opened a door
“Oh my God!!!” Bonnie and Pearl s¢ræmed and rushed in immediately
“Wow,senior I think you’re my role model now” Bonnie said,taking numbers of pictures
“Honestly,I’ve always thought I am acting immature for my age,but now I guess I’m really mature,seeing these two girls,I can totally see the difference” Lyric said and Sapphire laughed
“Wow,,look at that blue sea with the crescent moon!!!” Pearl shouted all of a sudden
“They are really adorable,now I wish I have a sister” Sapphire muttered and Lyric smack her head
“So what am I? A spoon?” She asked
“Oh sorry,I totally forgot” Sapphire said and Lyric scoffed
“Girls,how about doing something more fun than just checking out paintings?” Lyric asked
Pearl and Bonnie faced her immediately
“Like what?” They asked
“Let’s play some games” Lyric said
“Yes!!” Bonnie ran out
“I’m more mature than her,trust me” Pearl said and also ran out
“Can you keep inviting them over? They are fun to be with,honestly” Lyric laughed before going out

EVENING>CAYDEN’S MANSION**
“Are you seriously preparing all these for my friends?” Romeo asked as he watched his mom cooking
“Of course,it’s been long I ate with those stubborn kids” Mrs Cayden smiled
Romeo checked the time and sighed
“You’ve been checking the time,are you waiting for your sister?” Mrs Cayden asked
Romeo kept quiet
Mrs Cayden smiled and continue cooking
They suddenly heard the door bell
“I guess those dummies are here” Romeo muttered and went out of the kitchen
He walked to the entrance door and opened
“Boom!!” Princeton shouted and they all ran in almost making Romeo fall
“Whoa!!! The aroma is tempting” Donovan sniffed and started tracing the aroma out of the living room
“Hey” Princeton slap Romeo’s head
“Don’t start,I can kick you out” Romeo snarled
“No,I can kick you out of your own house dude,don’t be proud” Princeton said and also walked out of the living room with Ryan
Romeo followed and met them all in the dinning
“Wow,mom. You’re still the best cook in the world” Princeton said
“Really?” Mrs Cayden asked
“Of course!!” They all chorused
“This was exactly what we all said when Donovan’s mom invited us for dinner during the holiday” Ryan muttered and they all laughed
“I guess I shouldn’t be so happy with your compliment then” Mrs Cayden chuckled
“Hey Penelope” Donovan waved at her as she showed up
She smiled and greeted them before going into the kitchen
Ryan stood up and followed Penelope
“Is Pearl home?” He asked
“Oh,no she’s not” Penelope replied with a light smile
“Then,can you give this to her when she’s back?” Ryan handed the plastic bag to her
“Oh..okay” Penelope muttered
“Thanks” Ryan smiled and turned to leave only to find Mrs Cayden standing
She smiled at him and he returned it before going out
He joined the others on the dinning table
“Where were you,are you in love with Penelope or something?” Princeton asked
“So what?” Ryan scoffed
“Wow” Donovan clapped his hands
“Don’t clap you idiot,,I’m not in love with her” Ryan snapped
Mrs Cayden entered
“Mom,join us” Donovan immediately stood up and pulled out a seat for her
“Sure,thank you Donovan” Mrs Cayden smiled and sat down
“By the way,I’ve not seen Pearl. Where is she?” Princeton asked
“I guess she should be back soon” Romeo muttered
Ryan smiled
“Ryan,are you crushing on my girl?” Mrs Cayden asked and Ryan looked up in shock
All eyes fell on him
Mrs Cayden smiled
“I guess I’m right” She said
“She’s……cute” Ryan muttered with a smile
“We all know!!” Donovan and Princeton yelled
“Don’t worry Ryan,I will gladly permit you to date her when she’s old enough” Mrs Cayden said and Ryan’s eyes w¡dened
“Really??!!” Ryan shouted
Mrs Cayden nodded
“Of course” She smiled
“Wow,I should have spoke out first” Donovan muttered
“Shut up forever then ” Princeton whispers
Romeo only kept quiet as they all talked
‘I will gladly permit you to date her’ That word rang in his head continuously and he fold his fist
He dropped his cutlery and got up
“Where are you going?” Mrs Cayden asked
“I’m not really hungry” he muttered and left the dinning room
“Is he okay?” Princeton frowned

7PM**
“I’m home!!!!!” Pearl s¢ræmed as she rushed in but immediately stopped when she saw Donovan,Princeton and Ryan in the living room playing video game
“Wow” She muttered
Ryan turned and their eyes met
“Senior Ryan” Pearl smiled
“Hey” Ryan also smiled
“You’re finally back,should I tell you we ate something delicious?” Princeton asked
“Really?? What is it?” Pearl immediately ran to them
“Mom prepared everything herself” Donovan said
“Mom? Wow,that’s amazing. I’m sure she kept some for me” Pearl smiled
“I’m sorry but I ate the one she kept for you” Princeton said
“Huh?” Pearl looked at him with a sad look
Ryan slap Princeton’s head
“Are you trying to make her cry?” He snapped
“Hey! Your hand hurts!” Princeton yelled
“Don’t mind him Pearl,your food is safe” Ryan smiled
“Really? Thank you” Pearl smiled and ran upstairs
“Seriously,are you in love with that baby?” Princeton asked
“What do you mean by baby?” Ryan scoffed
“Of course she’s like a baby,did you see her almost about crying just because I lied that I ate her food?? It was cute,I should do it again sometime” Princeton grinned
Donovan and Ryan grabbed a pillow each and hit it on his face at once

After taking her bath,Pearl went to greet her mom. She came out and was on her way downstairs when she met Ryan.
“You’re here” She smiled innocently
Ryan walked closer to her
“I got you a gift” he said
“Wow,really? What is it?” Pearl asked
“Chocolates,I know you love them”
“You’re really the best” Pearl smiled
“I gave Penelope” Ryan said and Pearl nodded
“Thank you” She said
Ryan smiled and stroke her hair
At that moment,Romeo walked past them but he didn’t say a word
Pearl’s eyes followed him
‘Is he okay?’ She thought
“Let’s go” Ryan said and they also went downstairs together

BETSY’S PLACE>9PM**
The music was coming out loudly in Betsy’s room while she danced according to the beat,dancing is what she enjoy to do,she’s got the talent and everything. She’s a really good dancer.
Her body moves followed the h¡p hop dance beats
Suddenly the door burst open but she didn’t notice since her back was against the door
Her mom went straight to turn off the music and Betsy turned
Her eyes w¡dened
“I thought I told you to stop this f**king dance of yours!!” She yelled
“But mom,I told you I love dance so much,how can I quit??” Betsy asked
“I don’t care if you love it,I want you to quit. You have no choice than to do what I want baby girl,why don’t you just study hærd and become something more meaningful than this!! I want you to become a good Doctor Betsy,that is what I want for you”
“So…you mean…dancing is meaningless?? What I love so much is meaningless?” Betsy said in tears
“Yes it is,if you are not careful. You will be grounded and I will throw all these f**king things away,do you understand?!!”
“Why must I follow every thing you say!! I don’t want to become a Doctor,must I?? Can’t I at least do what I want??!!” A slap landed on her face and she held her cheek in shock
“How dare you question me!! You do what I want or nothing else!! What type of gracious child will ever choose dancing over other careers?!!” Her mom yelled
Betsy ran out of the room in tears

THE CAYDEN’S MANSION**
Romeo sat down all alone in the dinning room,he had a drink on the table in front of him.
After a while,he stood up and went into the kitchen.
He opened the fridge and took a bottle of water. He turned and saw Pearl walking in
“Brother” She called and walked closer to him
Romeo sighed and kept quiet
“Are you okay? You’ve not said a word to me since I got back home,are you sick?” She tried touching his head
Romeo hold her hand and dropped it back
“Do I look sick?? I guess I am really sick” He muttered
Pearl tried touching him again
“Can you just stop,don’t touch me” He snapped at her and she dropped her hand
“I’m just….I’m worried…”
“Stop worrying about me,you’re only making everything worse for me Pearl,don’t care about me,don’t…..just stay back” Romeo muttered
“What have I done this time?? Why would you tell me not to care about you?? I’m your sister,you’re my brother,why should I stay back from you when you’re looking this way?? You care about me,why can’t I return the same energy?? You’re hurting my feelings if you keep pushing me away,I hate it when you suddenly start ignoring me,I love it so much when we talk and play together so stop telling me not to care about you” Pearl broke into tears
Romeo sighed and was about saying something when his phone rang
He took his phone and answered the call
“Who is this?” He asked
He heard a sniff and then the person called his name
“Betsy??”
“Are you okay??”
“Where are you?”
“Okay…I will be there,don’t leave” Romeo hanged up
He was about leaving when Pearl immediately hugged him from the back,she wrapped her arms around him tightly
“Are you really…..choosing her over me?” She asked in tears,,burying her face in his back
“I need to….”
“No…don’t go. Don’t leave me” She cut in,hugging him more tightly
