Romeo carried Pearl in a bridal way and walked out of the class

Pearl wrapped her arms around his neck

“Where are you taking me to?” She asked

“You should take a rest at the infirmary if you are feeling sick” Romeo muttered

“I told you all I need is your hug,I’m getting better already” Pearl said,sticking more into his chest

Some student staring at them as Romeo walked with Pearl in his arms

They got into the infirmary and he dropped Pearl on the bed

“Should I call the nurse…..”

“I said I don’t need one” Pearl Snapped

“Fine then,you can rest. I’m leaving” Romeo muttered and made to leave

Pearl grabbed his hand and he turned back to her

“Do you need anything?” Romeo asked

“I love you brother” Pearl muttered

There was silence as they both stared at each other’s eyes

The moment was interrupted when Everest came in

“Pearl,are you okay?” He asked and Pearl let go of Romeo’s hand

“I saw your brother bringing you in so I followed” Everest said and hold Pearl’s hand

“I’m fine” Pearl said and took a glance at Romeo

Pearl suddenly yawned

“I told you to take a rest” Romeo said

“Right,I’m going to sleep now. You can leave” Pearl smiled and closed her eyes

Romeo tried to cover her up but Everest beat him to it,he immediately covered Pearl with the duvet before turning to Romeo

“Pearl and I are friends,I’m Everest” He smiled

Romeo responded with a single nod before walking out,Everest followed him

“Senior…..” he called but Romeo was already gone

“Why is he so cold?” Everest muttered

“Everest” Pierce and Milo ran to him

“What,why are you here?” Everest asked

“Is Pearl okay?” Milo asked

“She’s taking a nap” Everest replied

Pierce sighted Bonnie coming

“That sharp mouthed girl is coming” He said and Everest chuckled

“Guys,I heard Pearl is in here” Bonnie said and tried to go in but Everest pulled her back

“She’s taking a nap,you can’t go in” He said

“Oh” Bonnie muttered and turned to Pierce who was staring at her

“Why are you staring at me? You want me to pull out your eyeballs?” Bonnie snarled

Pierce scoffed

“You should be happy I’m staring at you,not like you’re pretty or something” Pierce said

“What?? Me?? I’m not pretty??” Bonnie laughed and turned to Milo

“Am I pretty or not” she asked

“Of course you’re beautiful,He’s got some ink in,side his brain to think you’re not pretty” Milo said and Bonnie flaunted her hair,slapping Pierce’s face as she walked away

“What the f**k!” Pierce yelled

Everest shook his head and walked away

They followed him

CAFETERIA**

“I think I will need to use the rest room” Constance said to Betsy but she was only lost staring at Romeo who was just coming into the cafeteria.

“Betsy!” Constance called out loudly and Betsy looked at her

“Are you sure you’re not thinking of how to kidnap Romeo? Stop staring at him that way” Constance let out a scoff and Betsy roll her eyes

“I’m going to the restroom” She said and got up

As soon as she left the table,Lyric bumped into her and stepped on her toes unconsciously

“Oh…I’m sorry” Lyric immediately said

“Are you blind?!!” Constance yelled and pushed Lyric off and her body landed on Donovan,the juice in her hand poured all over Donovan’s uniform and the students gasped

Constance’s eyes went wide immediately

“Oh no…Donovan” She rushed to Donovan and tried wiping the juice from him

Donovan grabbed her hand and throw it off before walking out of the cafeteria.

Constance faced Lyric angrily

“It’s all you fault,you should have just watched out!” She yelled

Lyric wanted to talk but she saw Sapphire shaking her head from where she was sitting.

Lyric ignored Constance and left the cafeteria.

Donovan entered the locker room and walked to his,he opened it and brought out an extra shirt. He took off the stained one and threw it into the wastebin. He was about putting on the new one when the door opened and Lyric came in

“Oh no,I’m sorry” She immediately turned back

Donovan scoffed

“Are you trying to say you’ve never seen any guy shirtless?” He asked

“Hurry up and stop saying rubbish” Lyric snapped

“I’m done” Donovan muttered and Lyric turned

Her eyes w¡dened when she saw Donovan still shirtless

“Are you crazy?!!!” She yelled and turned again only for her head to hit Princeton’s chest

“Ouch,why the f**k is your chest so hærd” Lyric gr-0aned

“Because I’ve got no b**bs” Princeton replied and Lyric roll her eyes

“Hey Donovan are you okay?” Princeton asked

Donovan already got dressed

“Yeah I’m fine,I thought this broken voice is here to apologize but she came to say more” Donovan said and Lyric frowned

“Don’t tell me you will keep on calling me broken voice” she said

“So what?” Donovan scoffed

“Hey,do you know this place is for boys alone?” Princeton asked and Lyric turned to him

“Hey dude calm down,I came here to see if this monkey is okay but I guess I should have just stayed my lane” Lyric said

“Mon what??” Donovan’s eyes went wide

“M..O..N..K..E..Y!!!” Lyric s¢ræmed to his face

“Seriously? Wait what do you think you look like?” Donovan asked

“What” Lyric asked

“An ugly witch” Donovan said and walked out

“Gosh I hate him” Lyric bite her l-ips and turned to see Princeton still waiting

“What are you waiting for? Are you looking for a name to call me too?” She asked

“I have nothing to say” Princeton said

Lyric’s eyes suddenly met with Donovan’s shirt in the bin

“Whoa,I can’t believe that monkey. He really throw the shirt away just because of the little stain?” Lyric scoffed and took it from the bin

“What are you going to do with it?” Princeton asked

“I’m going to wash it and give it back to him,since it’s my fault” Lyric muttered

Princeton nodded and they both went out together

INFIRMARY**

Pearl opened her eyes after the nap,she sighed and sat up. She ruffled her hair

“So it was you” A voice said from the other side and Pearl turned to see Campbell on the other bed

“Oh…Senior Campbell” She smiled

“Are you sick?” Campbell asked

“A bit,but I’m okay now. What about you?” Pearl asked

“I wanted to skip classes” Campbell said and Pearl nodded before getting down from the bed

“You’re leaving?” Campbell asked

“Yes Senior” Pearl said and immediately went out

She was on her way to the class when suddenly remembered that their next class is probably Chemistry

“Never,my brain is not ready for that” She immediately turned back toward the library

She got to the library and it seems empty,she started walking around,checking some books until she saw Cameron

‘Are these seniors obsessed with skipping classes?’ She thought

Cameron looked up and their eyes met

“Hey” He smiled at her

“Hi senior” Pearl muttered

“What are you doing here? I’m skipping the physics class” Cameron said

“I’m also skipping my chemistry class” Pearl replied

“I guess we have something in common then….have a seat” Cameron smiled

Pearl bite her l-ips and sat down beside him,leaving some space

“Are you sick? You look somehow…..”

Before Pearl could talk,he already placed his hand on her forehead

“Your temperature is normal” Cameron muttered

“I’m fine” Pearl said and he removed his hand

They suddenly heard some footsteps and they both looked up to see Romeo

Pearl and Romeo’s eyes met

He looked away and took the book he probably came for and then left the library

Cameron turned to Pearl and saw her biting her l-ips

“Are you okay?” He asked

Pearl nodded

“You think your brother is angry that you’re skipping class?” Cameron asked

Pearl shook her head and sighed

‘He doesn’t seem to care like he used to’ she thought

SENIORS CLASS**

“So,that will be the end for today” The physics teacher said and dropped his text

“Like I said,I will be choosing your study partners” He said and the class started to murmur as the list came on the smart board

Frankie and Sapphire

Romeo,Juliet and Betsy

Cassie, Ryan and Cameron

Princeton,Lyric and Donovan

Constance and Campbell

Betsy let out a smile when she saw her name beside Romeo but her smile faded when she saw Juliet was also there

“What the f**k? Campbell??!” Constance shouted

Frankie seems to be the happiest person in the whole world right now

“I can’t believe this,Two monkeys with me? How unfortunate” Lyric scoffed

“I should be the one Saying that,Princeton and I are smart,but I don’t know about you witch” Donovan roll his eyes and Lyric felt like chopping his head off

“Wait I’m just seeing this,who are the two people placed beside me? I’ve never heard their names in this class” Ryan spoke up and the students laughed out

Cassie scoffed

“I was hoping we would be partners” Sapphire said to Romeo

“You don’t expect him to put us together Sapphire” Romeo replied

“Why not?” She asked

“You need to at least be of help to your partner,I don’t think there’s anything I wanna teach you or something you know that I don’t know” Romeo said

“But you’re brilliant than me” Sapphire scoffed

“It’s the first time you’re admitting that” Romeo said and Sapphire bite her l-ips

Romeo stood up and walked out of the class.

BASKETBALL COURT**

As Romeo threw the ball into the net without stopping,his head was filled with different thoughts he wanted to get rid of so badly,but seems luck is not by his side.

He gr-0aned and threw the ball on the wall loudly

“Are you okay?” A voice asked behind him and he turned

“Hey” Juliet smiled and walked closer to him

“I’m fine” Romeo muttered and continue throwing the ball

“We are partners in the physics study group” Juliet said

“Yeah” Romeo said

Juliet bite her l-ips and moved closer again

“You look exhausted,are you okay?” She asked and touched his shoulder

Romeo turned to her

“I’m fine,stop asking” He said

“Okay…..I really wish I can learn how to throw the ball into the net too” Juliet muttered and Romeo sighed

“Will you teach me?” She asked

“Just throw into the net,that’s all” Romeo muttered

“Then,let me try it out if it’s as easy as you said” Juliet smiled and took another ball

She jumped and threw the ball

“Ouch!” She fell on the floor intentionally

“Are you okay?” Romeo moved closer to her

“I guess I am” she mumbled and squeezed her face like she’s in pain

“Can you stand up? You shouldn’t have jumped that way” Romeo said

Juliet stretched her hand to him

He grabbed her hand and pulled her up,she moved into him and hugged him

“Hey…..”

“I’m sorry” she immediately moved back

“I will be glad if you are not pretending,it’s not cute” Romeo roll his eyes

“No I’m not,it’s my first time trying. But I really want to learn….”

“Why will you even want to learn all of a sudden? Go meet the coach and stop disturbing my peace Juliet” Romeo gr-0aned

“Are you angry?” Juliet muttered in a broken voice

Romeo sighed and dropped the ball

“If you want to learn,meet one of the school coaches,not me” he said more gently this time and Juliet smiled

“Okay then” she said

“Brother” Pearl walked in and they both turned

She walked closer to them

“Pearl,it’s nice meeting you again. We met once,do you remember?” Juliet grinned and stretched her hand for a shake

Pearl glared at her hatefully and turned to Romeo,ignoring Juliet’s hand

“What is it?” Romeo asked

“I guess I should go,I will see you later Romeo” Juliet smiled and walked out

“What is it this time Pearl” Romeo asked,throwing the ball again

“Now it’s really this?” Pearl asked

“I don’t know what you are talking about” Romeo said

“You saw Senior Cameron and I together” Pearl said

“So what?” Romeo asked

“You’re not going to talk? You won’t scold me and tell me not to stay with him alone?? You won’t tell me to stay away from him??? You won’t?” Pearl asked

“I don’t have to do that” Romeo muttered

“Why all of a sudden! You really don’t care now if I talk to guys and they touch me?” Pearl asked

“If you don’t feel mad about it,then it’s fine” Romeo replied

“What??? Really?? What is wrong with you Cherie…..”

“Let’s create the boundaries Candy” Romeo cut in

“What boundary?” Pearl asked

“You and I….let’s maintain each other’s lane from now. You can do whatever you want” Romeo said

“Oh….I can do anything I want” Pearl repeated,tears forming in her eyes

“As long as you don’t get hurt…” Romeo muttered

“No,you shouldn’t care if I get hurt or not brother. It’s none of your business even if I get hurt….”

“Pearl….”

“If that’s what you want,then I don’t mind. See you after school” Pearl said and walked out

Romeo stared at her until she was out of sight

He threw the ball in his hand away and tears rolled down his eyes

“I’m cursed..,for real” he muttered as more tears rolled down
