HOSPITAL**

Mrs Cayden rushed out of the car and ran into the hospital,she met some nurses

“I was called that there’s an emergency,is it bad? Where’s Doctor Kelvin ?” She asked

“He left the hospital at that moment but he’s already attending to the patient” The nurse replied

“Oh..then where’s the patient?” Mrs Cayden asked

“Ward 3,third floor”,

“Okay” Mrs Cayden immediately walked away

She stopped in her office to grab something before proceeding upstairs,she was surprised to see Mrs Lush as she approached the ward.

Cameron and Evelyn are also there waiting,she walked closer immediately

“What’s going on? Who’s the patient?” She asked

“Pearl” Mrs Lush muttered and sniffed in her tears

“What??? Pearl? What happened to her?” Mrs Cayden rushed her questions

“She suddenly lost her consciousness and her temperature is so high” Mrs Lush replied

Evelyn was about to talk when the door opened and the Doctor came out

Mrs Lush immediately rushed to him

“Is she awake?” She asked

“No she’s not,but….who’s Romeo? She kept on mumbling his name even in her unconscious state” The Doctor said and they all exchanged glances aside Evelyn

“Romeo broke up with her” She finally said

“What?? You mean….she fall sick because of that?” Cameron asked immediately not believing his ears

“You might want to call Romeo for her quick recovery” Doctor Kelvin said and immediately Mrs Cayden brought out her phone

She dialed Romeo’s number and excused herself

Cameron was still finding it hard to believe

“You should have seen the way she was so f**king hot when I found her,can you please let those two be? Huh? It’s obvious Pearl is so in love with him…..”

“I don’t care okay? I just want my baby to wake up…..”

“Then let her date Romeo in peace,please” Evelyn said

“What? What happened to Pearl?” Romeo jumped from the bed immediately as he received his mom’s call

“Come to the hospital Romeo,please” Mrs Cayden said on the phone

“I will be there” Romeo hanged up

He quickly rushed to the closet and put on some clothes,he ran out of the room

He met the driver outside

“Where are you going sir?” The driver asked

“Mom….hospital” Romeo said breathlessly and entered the car,he wouldn’t dare decide to drive in that state,he wasn’t in his right mind at all.

In a minute,the driver was hitting the road already,soon they arrived at the hospital.

Romeo got down from the car and ran in,he rushed to the receptionist

“Romeo! Long time…..”

“Where’s mom please” He said,cutting her off

“Third floor,ward three”

Romeo ran off immediately and entered the elevator impatiently,as soon as the elevator stopped he rushed out again.

He stopped when he saw everyone,waiting

“What happened to Pearl? Where’s she?” Romeo immediately asked worriedly

“She’s inside,unconscious” Evelyn replied and his eyes went wide

“Unconscious? What the h*ll happened to her?!” He shouted at once and without waiting,he entered the ward.

His heart broke the moment his eyes fell on her right on the bed,he didn’t know when a tear dropped from his eyes.

He walked closer and touched her cheek gently

“I’m sorry” He whispers,trying to control his tears but they kept falling freely from his eyes.

He took her hand and kissed it,burying his face in it

“I’m here now,please open your eyes Candy…..I promise never to leave you again. I was crazy when I said I was letting you go,really crazy. I love you so much Pinky……”

“Romeo?” Pearl’s tiny voice came in a whisper and Romeo raised his head to take a look at her

“Pearl?” He called

Pearl let out a sad smile

“Pooh bear.,…you’re back” She muttered

Romeo nodded

“I never left,I was just crazy. I will never leave you,I promised you right?”

Pearl nodded in tears

“Please don’t leave me,I love you so much. I can’t live without you” She said

Romeo smiled and wiped her tears

“Don’t fall sick,you know how much I hate seeing you in pains” he said

“I won’t fall sick if you don’t leave me” Pearl pouted cutely

“Then I won’t leave you,never” Romeo said and pulled her into his warm hug

“I missed you” Pearl said,hugging him more tightly.

The door suddenly opened and everyone came in but they didn’t care to disengage,Pearl held him to herself even more tightly while burying her face in his chest.

“Baby doll” Evelyn called excitedly and immediately moved closer to them

Romeo disengaged from the hug and Evelyn hugged Pearl

“You scared me doll” Evelyn muttered

“I’m sorry big sis” Pearl said

Romeo and Cameron’s eyes met and Cameron looked away.

“Thank you Romeo,I was so worried about her. Thanks for coming” Mrs Lush said

Romeo replied with a short nod

Pearl broke the hug and her eyes went to Mrs Cayden

“Mom” she called

“I’m sorry baby,please forgive Me” Mrs Cayden said in tears as she hugged Pearl tightly

“I missed you so much mom” Pearl said,sniffing in her scent

“More than you do,I missed you a lot” Mrs Cayden said

The hug lasted for two minutes before they let go of each other

“Baby,are you okay?” Mrs Lush moved closer and Pearl nodded

“I’m sorry for making you worried” Pearl said and Mrs Lush wiped her tears

“Don’t ever fall sick again,it hurts” She said

“I’m sorry mom” Pearl mumbled

The doctor entered and was surprised to see Pearl awake

“Oh….I guess Romeo is here” he said and turned to Romeo

“You’re the one?” He asked and Romeo nodded

“Are you her boyfriend?” The doctor asked

“Yes I am” Romeo replied,not looking at anyone aside Pearl who immediately let out a smile

Evelyn also smiled

The doctor examined Pearl

“How’s she?” Mrs Lush asked

“She’s fine,but she needs to rest for at least twenty four hours to maintain her full balance”

“I don’t want to stay here” Pearl interrupted

“Of course,you can go home cutie. Can you skip school for a day?” The Doctor asked with a smile

“Yes she will,I will make sure she rests. Thank you so much Doctor” Mrs Lush said

Finally it was time to go home,Cameron moved to Pearl

“I will help you….”

“No” Pearl immediately said

“What do you mean by No? Can you walk all by yourself? You heard the doctor.. ”

“Don’t worry about me brother” Pearl smiled and immediately turned to Romeo

Romeo moved closer and carried her in a bridal style,he took her out of the ward

Cameron let out a scoff and Evelyn chuckled

“This is so cute to watch” She said and followed them

Mrs Lush turned to Mrs Cayden after Cameron also went out

“We need to talk” She said and Mrs Cayden nodded

THE LUSH’S MANSION**

Pearl wrapped her arms around Romeo’s neck as he took her out of the car,

“Are you going to stay with me tonight?” Pearl asked in a whisper as Romeo walked in with her

“Seriously?” Romeo chuckled and she nodded

“I can’t believe this” Cameron scoffed,staring at them

“Let them be Cameron,you wouldn’t want her to fall sick again. It’s obvious our handsome Romeo is her drug” Evelyn said beside him

“Drug indeed,how can that kid even fall sick…because of a guy? Huh? Who the h*ll does that,and to think the guy is Romeo,f**k” Cameron bite his lips and Evelyn chuckled

They both went in and met Romeo coming downstairs

Evelyn smiled and moved closer to her

“So….you’re Romeo” She said with a bright smile

“Yes I am” Romeo replied

“Nice meeting you,I don’t know if Pearl ever talked about me. I’m Evelyn” she said bringing forth her hand

“Nice meeting you too” Romeo took her hand and she smiled

“You’re really handsome,don’t worry….I’m in full support,don’t ever try to leave my baby doll again,I’m kinda crazy” She said and Romeo chuckled

Cameron scoffed and they both looked at him

“Where’s Pearl?” Evelyn asked

“Her room” Romeo replied

“Then why are you here? You should go to her before she starts running temperature again.” Evelyn turned Romeo toward the stairs

“Big sis!” Cameron snapped but Evelyn ignored him and made sure Romeo went upstairs before Facing Cameron

“What’s your problem?” She frowned

“Come on sis” Cameron roll his eyes

Romeo entered Pearl’s room and met her still on the bed

“Are you sleeping?” He asked

“I can’t sleep,can you stay beside me?” Pearl muttered

“Are you not mad at me?” Romeo asked

“Why? Because you broke up with me? I don’t mind,as long as we are back together again” Pearl said with a smile

“I’m talking about Juliet” Romeo said

“No I’m not,I know how desperate she is when it comes to you. But can you please stay away from her? I almost lost my breath when I saw you two together,I hate that she kissed your lips,it should be mine alone” Pearl said

Romeo smiled and moved closer to her

“The doctor said you need to rest” He muttered and kissed her head

“I’m hungry” Pearl said

“Did you skip your dinner?” Romeo said

Pearl nodded with a pout

“Let’s go downstairs,I’m gonna feed you” Romeo immediately carried her

“I love you Cherie” Pearl said

“I love you too” Romeo kissed her head

After few hours,it was time for Romeo to leave. Mrs Rush was home already,Pearl wouldn’t release Romeo,she kept hugging him tightly.

“Can’t you just sleep here?” She asked

“Why would he sleep here?!” Cameron snapped from the back

Pearl rolled her eyes

“Did you just roll your eyes at me because of him?” Cameron asked

Pearl ignored him and hugged Romeo more tightly

Mrs Lush appeared and Romeo gently disengaged from the hug

“I’m going to see you tomorrow,I promise” He said

“Really??” Pearl asked and Romeo nodded

Pearl smiled and moved closer to her mom

“Bye Romeo,you can come here anytime you want,okay?” She said and Romeo nodded

“Thank you ma’am” he said

“Bye Romeo” Evelyn waved at him as he finally went out of the house.

Mrs Lush turned to Pearl

“I heard you ate your meal already” She said and Pearl nodded

Mrs Lush smiled and hugged her

“I love you baby” She whispers

“I love you too mom” Pearl said

CAYDEN’S MANSION**

Romeo met his mom in the living room,she immediately looked up when he entered

“I’m back” He muttered,walking toward the stairs

“Romeo” Mrs Cayden called and Romeo turned back

“Are you still angry with me?” She asked

“No mom,I’m glad she’s fine” Romeo said

Mrs Cayden smiled

“I know how much you love and care about her,,I was just worried. I wanted you to be the best brother in the world…..I couldn’t believe she love you more than I imagined son” She said

Romeo kept quiet

“Her mom and I talked about it,you are allowed to date each other” Mrs Cayden said and Romeo couldn’t believe his ears

“Really?”

Mrs Cayden nodded

“But,you should know the limit. She’s just sixteen…..”

“Trust me mom,I promise I won’t cross the line” Romeo immediately said

“I’ve always trusted you” She smiled and pulled him into a hug

“Thank you mom” Romeo said happily

NEXT MORNING★RAINBOW HIGH**

Betsy hummed to the music through the air pud as she walked through the hallway,suddenly a guy stopped in front of her and she removed the puds

“I guess you don’t know me” The one in the middle said and Betsy glanced at him from his legs to his face

“What do you want?” She asked

“You” The guy grinned

Betsy scoffed

“I guess you’re going crazy” She hissed and made to leave

The guy blocked her way again

“Who the f**k are you?! Get the h*ll out of my way!!” Betsy yelled angrily

“I’ve always wanted to talk to you,so stop shouting”

“Stay away from me” Betsy snapped and passed

He guy spanked her butt and her eyes went wide immediately

She turned back

“How dare you!!” She yelled and raised her hand to slap him

The guy grabbed her hand and pulled her against the wall

“Seriously,you look so sexy” he said,staring at her lips

“Don’t try what you’re thinking….my boyfriend is going to kill you” Betsy said

“I heard you don’t have a boyfriend” he smirked and started leaning in

Betsy closed her eyes and kept on shaking her head hoping someone will save her

She suddenly heard a loud and painful groan and then a fall,she opened her eyes and was shocked to see the f**l on the floor groaning in pain. She looked up and again surprised to see Cameron

“Are you okay?” Cameron asked her and moved closer to her

“I’m….I’m fine” Betsy stuttered

“Seriously? Are you her boyfriend?” The guy stood up and wiped his bloody lips

Cameron dropped his bag

“I guess that’s not enough,how f**king dare you try to kiss her with that stinky mouth of yours!” He said angrily and almost moved closer to the guy but Betsy grabbed his hand

Cameron looked at her and she shook her head

“That’s enough,I’m fine” She said and handed his bag back to him

“Ignore him,let’s go” She said,dragging him away

She released his hand after a while and then stopped

She faced Cameron and his heart beats increased four times the normal beats

Everything about her drives him crazy,

“Thank you Cameron” Betsy said

“You’re…..welcome” he muttered nervously

“You would have gotten hurt if he fought back….”

“No,I would have just taught him more lessons” Cameron scoffed and Betsy chuckled

They started walking quietly,none of them talked to each other until they both got a text at a time

They checked it

“The presentation is postponed?” Betsy asked shockingly and Cameron scoffed

“Did that idiot spoke to the teacher?” He muttered

“Who?” Betsy asked

“No one,let’s go to class” he said and they both left

THE CAYDEN’S MANSION**

The moment Romeo opened the door,Pearl entered

“Why are you so late?! I missed my first class already!” Evelyn shouted and ran out of the house again

Romeo was still quiet when Pearl hugged him from the back

Romeo smiled and turned,he immediately lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist,hugging his neck

“Mom finally agrees,,we can date now.” She said happily

“Yeah,but we have to take things slow” Romeo muttered

“Until I’m eighteen?” Pearl asked

“Yes” Romeo replied

“So we won’t have s*x,but we can do other things….”

“Pearl!” Romeo called and they both laughed

“Stop being naughty” Romeo said

Pearl pouted and hugged him more tightly

“So,you skipped school because of me” She whispers

“You’re my heartbeat,I can’t let you stay home alone” Romeo said

“I’m your heartbeat?” Pearl asked,her cheeks turning red

“My sunshine” Romeo muttered

“Snowdrop” he continued

“Angel…”

Pearl pecked his lips

“Keep calling me your heartbeat,I love it” she said cutely

“Really??” Romeo chuckled

Pearl nodded

“Have you eaten?” Romeo asked

“No,I want you to feed me” She muttered

“Let’s go to the dinning” Romeo said,leaving the living room.

“Are we the only one home?” Pearl asked

“Yeah” Romeo replied and dropped her on the table

“Stay here,I will bring the…..”

Pearl cut him off with a sudden kiss

“I want just cookies and Milk” She said

“And what else?” Romeo asked

“Your lips” Pearl murmured

“No” Romeo shook his head

“You dare not” Pearl snapped and Romeo laughed

“Seriously? Are you threatening me? On what’s mine?” He asked

“Yours or mine? Your lips are mine” Pearl said

“I’m all yours,aside my lips,everything is yours” Romeo mumbled

“Everything else? Like what?” Pearl asked

“I thought I said you shouldn’t be naughty…..”

“You started it Cherie” Pearl groaned

“I can’t wait to be eighteen,everyone is making me hate being sixteen” she muttered sadly,staring at her nails

“But I love you this way,you’re too cute to resist” Romeo said and Pearl looked up

“Really?” She asked

“Yeah,even though you act childish some time…..”

“Here we go again” Pearl roll her eyes

“I’m sorry” Romeo chuckled

Pearl yawned and Romeo kissed her

“The Doctor said you have to rest,,now you should eat and sleep” Romeo said

“Will you cuddle me? Tightly” Pearl asked

“As long as it bring smiles on your face,I will do anything for you Pinky,,anything” Romeo muttered and Pearl smiled at him widely

“I love you Pooh bear” she said

“I love you more heartbeat” Romeo said and pulled her into a warm hug
