After the long hug,they finally separated.
“Have you been crying? Your eyes are swollen” Romeo mumbled,wiping her tears
“You couldn’t sleep right? Your eyes are ugly too” Pearl said and Romeo smiled
“I couldn’t sleep because you refused to answer my calls or text me back,I was worried” He said
“I’m sorry Ma Cherie” Pearl pouted
Cameron let out a loud scoff and Romeo looked at him while holding Pearl’s hand
“I’m going to take her out for few minutes” he said
“For what?? Why would you take her out?” Cameron asked
“You don’t have to know,just permit me to take her out” Romeo said
Cameron roll his eyes and looked at Pearl who was holding Romeo tightly as if he was going to run away
“Make sure you bring her back before it’s late or I’m going to kill you” He said and went upstairs
Romeo and Pearl looked at each other and Romeo arranged her hair
“Let’s go” he muttered and took her out of the house
“I don’t like how you need to ask for his permission,it’s annoying” Pearl scoffed
“I have to do that now,it’s annoying for me too” Romeo said and opened the car for her
She entered and he joined her in the car before driving off
“I guess you two are not in good terms” Pearl asked and Romeo shook his head
“Then I won’t like him,never” Pearl scoffed
“He’s your brother…”
“Brother I know nothing about” Pearl muttered
“Where are we going?” She asked
“A restaurant” Romeo replied
“How did you know I’m hungry? I haven’t eaten since last night” Pearl said
“I haven’t eaten too,and I know you wouldn’t either” Romeo said and Pearl smiled
“You know me more than I know myself Cherie” She said
Finally Romeo stopped the car in front of a restaurant
They both went in and ordered immediately
Soon,the waitress returned with plates of fried rice,chicken and salad with drinks
“I’m gonna eat to death” Pearl m0aπed as she took a bite from the chicken lap
Romeo only stared at her as she eat
She looked up and find him staring
“Aren’t you eating?” She asked
“You should cheer up” Romeo muttered
“Cheer up??” Pearl asked
“You shouldn’t hate your brother because of me,don’t be cold to your mom too” Romeo said
“The only family I know is you,mom and dad…..”
“Of course we are your family,but still it doesn’t change the fact that Cameron and his mom are your real family okay?. You should respect Cameron like you respect me,you don’t have to get mad at him,it’s not his fault that things turned out this way and we are separated. I’m sure he love and care about you alot so you should get to know him and give him a chance to be a brother to you” Romeo said
“Are you saying this because you want to get rid of me completely?” Pearl asked
Romeo held her hand
“I will never do that okay? I love you so much and will never leave you alone,I just want you to be a good girl and get along with your new family. Your mom have been waiting for you,she didn’t give up even when everyone believed you were gone,you should be good to her,please”
Pearl roll her eyes
“Aren’t you going to promise me you will be a good girl??” Romeo asked
“I can’t promise” Pearl muttered
“Then do it because of me,just take it like a gift for me. It will make me happy if you do that….”
Pearl bite her l¡ps and wiped the slow tears coming out of her eyes
“You don’t even know how much I missed everyone,it’s not even twenty four hours yet. I miss mom a lot,I miss her hug and k×sses,I miss dad’s voice…but I missed you the most. It’s annoying how I couldn’t leave my room last night even when I was scared to sleep alone,I couldn’t go to neither of them because I wasn’t used to them. I would have entered your room and sleep right beside you,you know everything about me,you know when I’m happy and sad,you know how to make me happy,you know the things I love….but my new brother doesn’t…..”
“Then tell him everything about yourself….”
“I can’t do that,I don’t want to get close to him” Pearl sniffed and Romeo sighed.
“He can never be you,so stop trying to convince me” she said and continue eating
“If you’re scared to sleep at night,you should go to your mom’s room not Cameron’s room,okay?” Romeo said and Pearl nodded
“Don’t hug him too tightly,don’t sit on his laps,don’t get too close…..geez what am I saying?” Romeo mumbled and rough his hair
“I wouldn’t do that,you don’t have to worry” Pearl smiled and Romeo nodded
“So are you going to promise me you will be good from now?” Romeo asked bringing out his pinky finger
“Then you have to promise me also” Pearl said
“What is it?”
“You will come to see me everyday,if not everyday…I don’t want to miss you. We won’t get to spend enough time together in school,,so promise me you will come over to the house to visit me often” Pearl said,also bringing out her pinky finger
Romeo sighed when he remembered Cameron,he can only visit her if their mom is home but seems like their mom is also a busy woman like his mom too
“Why aren’t you saying a word?” Pearl asked
“I promise to visit you even if it’s hærd,I will try” Romeo said and they crossed their fingers
“If you make me miss you too much,I will come over to the house…..”
“Don’t do that,it’s dangerous. I will visit you,I promise” Romeo said and she smiled
They continue eating and talking,after a while,Romeo took her home.

NEXT MORNING★LUSH’S MANSION**
Cameron was eating in the dinning room when Pearl came in,he looked up and their eyes met.
“Good morning…..” She couldn’t call him brother no matter how much she practiced
“Morning” Cameron smiled
She sat down
“Where’s your mom?” She asked and Cameron looked at her
“I mean…….mom” Pearl muttered
“She left for work already,she’s quite early today” Cameron said
“What type of work?” Pearl asked
“She’s the one managing dad’s company,she’s always busy but don’t worry you will have her around on weekends” Cameron said
“I’m used to that,my mom is always busy at the hospital and dad is never in the country” Pearl mumbled and Cameron nodded
“But…what about dad?” She asked
“Gone,twelve years ago. I’m sure mom will tell you about it soon” Cameron said and Pearl sighed
She looked at the toasts and tea on the table,she didn’t make any move
“You want something else? The maid can…..”
“Can I get a glass of milk?” Pearl cut in and looked up
“Milk?” Cameron asked and she nodded
“I don’t think we have that,the maid can get it for you later”
Pearl nodded and finally took the toast
Cameron sighed out
“Are you tired of me already?” Peael suddenly asked and he choked
“What? Why would I be tired?”
“You sighed out too loud as If I am disturbing your peace” Pearl said
“That was a happy sigh,I thought you were gonna skip breakfast because we have no milk” Cameron said
Pearl kept quiet and managed to finish one,she drank the tea
“Are you okay?” Cameron asked and she nodded
“Can we leave now?” He asked again and Pearl nodded
They both stood up and walked out of the house
Cameron entered the car first and Pearl bite her l¡ps,Romeo would have opened for her first before going in.
‘Just get used to it like Romeo said’ she thought inwardly and entered with Cameron
“You can tell me if you need anything,okay?” Cameron said
“I will think about it” she muttered and closed her eyes

RAINBOW HIGH SCHOOL**
The moment Cameron parked in the school lot,Pearl saw Romeo also driving in. A wide smile escape her l¡ps,she immediately carried her bag and stepped down from the car,Cameron also got down
👥 Wait don’t tell me the rumors are really true
👥 Romeo is not Pearl’s brother?
👥 Really so Cameron is Pearl’s brother??
👥 Am I the only one who think Pearl and Romeo are more perfect as siblings

The students began to murmur
‘How the h*ll did they find out?’ Pearl thought as she stared at Romeo who was also getting down from his car

Immediately Pearl entered the class,thousands of questions was thrown on her
She ignored them all and sat down
“Are you okay?” Bonmie and Everest asked at a time
“I’m fine” Pearl muttered and Bonnie sighed sadly
“It hurts right? I can’t believe Senior Cameron is your brother not my favorite Senior Romeo” Bonnie pouted
“But…how did everyone find out?” Pearl asked
“You don’t know? Your name got changed from Cayden to Lush this morning…..”
“What??” Pearl immediately brought out her laptop,her eyes fell when she saw it. Now it’s becoming a reality.
“Are you okay with them?” Everest asked
Pearl nodded
“I’m sure you miss your old family already especially senior Romeo” Bonnie muttered and hugged her
“Oh oh!!!!! The latest rumor is the sweetest!!!! So our lovely senior Romeo and someone I don’t wanna mention aren’t related at all” April spoke up and some students laughed
“So what? At least he’s still gonna treat Pearl well!” Bonnie snapped
“This only means that Pearl has two brothers now because I know senior Romeo wouldn’t let go of Pearl,never” Pierce said
“Who cares? It doesn’t change the fact that they are not siblings” Blossom scoffed
Pearl bite her l¡ps and rest her head on the desk

SENIORS BLOCK**
Romeo and Cameron entered together and they mistakenly bumped into each other,they both glared at each other
👥 Wow,I guess the old brother and the new brother are not planning to make up for their little sister
👥 This is insane,I pity Pearl
👥 Why Cameron of all people??
Cameron and Romeo went to their different seats and the students started questioning them
“Is it true you’re not Pearl’s brother?” Sapphire asked
“Why are you asking when you know already?” Romeo scoffed
“I’m sorry,but I’m just worried about you too. You’re okay right? What about Pearl?” Sapphire asked
“I’m fine,You can check on Pearl later,you two are friends right?” Romeo faced her
Sapphire smiled and nodded
“I will do that” She said
Romeo looked back and his three friends stared back at him,he sighed and faced front again

LUNCH★BACK OF THE SCHOOL**
“Seriously so you waited for us to hear it as rumors before you tell us? What type of friend are you?” Donovan asked, looking pissed
“I’m sorry,I wasn’t myself during the weekend,I should have told you guys” Romeo muttered
“So that kiddo isn’t your sister? For real?” Princeton asked
“She was adopted” Romeo muttered
“And she’s Cameron’s sister? Isn’t that crazy? You and Cameron are always on each other’s neck,what if he start acting like a d**k?” Princeton scoffed and Romeo sighed
“It must have been hærd to accept” Donovan muttered and pat Romeo’s shoulder
“You should take heart” Ryan muttered
“What about Pearl? Is she fine? I’m sure she would cry her eyes out when it happened” Donovan said and Romeo nodded
“I get to talk to her,she’s fine now” Romeo muttered
“I’m starving,let’s go eat” Princeton said

JUNIORS BLOCK**
The maths teacher entered the class with Everest holding some notes and they became silent,that was when Pearl remembered that she didn’t get to do her assignment or even submit it.
Everest distributed the students notes to them before sitting down
“Cayden….I mean Lush” the teacher called and Pearl bite her l¡ps
“Why didn’t I see your assignment?” She asked
“I’m sorry,I forgot about it” Pearl muttered
“Why would you forget?” The teacher asked
“Obviously because there’s no more senior Romeo to help her” April spoke up and everyone laughed
Pearl bite her bottom lip before running out of the class
She got to the pool side,it was empty as expected. She sat down,wiping her tears.
She knew she was going to miss Romeo more with things like this,it hurts to even think about it.
She brought out her phone and texted Romeo to meet her there if he’s not busy
Soon she heard footsteps behind her and she immediately turned expecting to see Romeo but it was Ryan
“Senior Ryan?” She called and he smiled at her before walking closer
“Hey cutie” He smiled
“What are you doing here?” Pearl asked
“Oh…here….” Ryan raised Romeo’s phone up
“He left his phone with me and I saw your message,that’s why I’m here” Ryan smiled
“Where is he?” Pearl asked
“He’s got something to do” Ryan replied and Pearl nodded
“Then,I will take my leave” She muttered and tried to leave but Ryan grabbed her hand and pulled her back
“I told you,you can also talk to me if you are not feeling good” Ryan said
“I know,but I would prefer talking to my brother this time”
“I heard he’s not your brother” Ryan said and Pearl looked at him but his eyes are only on her cute small and wet l¡ps,he couldn’t take his eyes off from that s××y little thing,he couldn’t resist the crazy urge anymore and like that he moved closer to her,she made to move back but Ryan grabbed her waist and pulled her close,she let out a gasp
“Senior…..” She couldn’t finish when Ryan’s l-ips slammed against her own
