Dianna’s POV
“Owen?!!”

“Hey Dianna” he smiled

“What…..how am I here? Am I…..am I dead?” I asked and he chuckled

“I don’t think you are yet” he said

“Then how am I here? And with you, you…..you are dead” I said and he nodded

“What are you doing before you ended up here?” Owen asked

“I was….. I was just having an ummm…. a discussion, I was just having a discussion with my baby girl….. I mean, our baby girl” I said and Owen nodded

“You were sad” he said

“What?! Definitely not” I said

“You were and your baby girl wanted to make you feel better so she brought your subconscious mind to meet me” Owen explained

“What? How is that even possible, even if it is, she’s just 7 months old and this would’ve definitely required a very complex spell that a seven month old can’t carry out” I said and Owen smiled

“It seems you are forgetting how special she is, she’s an innate one Dianna, she needs no spells to carry out whatever it is she wants to do, she only needs to think it and it happens” Owen said

“Oh so she really did bring me here cause I was really sad, she brought me here to make me feel better”

“I thought you sad you weren’t sad” Owen reminded

“What? Did….did I say otherwise?” I asked and Owen chuckled

“What happened to you? You do look very much worn out” Owen uttered

“I’m fine, I really am” I said

“Dianna” he called and I sighed, how I’ve so much missed hearing his voice

“Stuffs happened and ummm…. I am not really in the same page with all of my siblings right now, we are currently in this huge fight where we are trying to kill each other, things are just pretty messed up” I said

“And you blame yourself for everything?” he asked

“It is pretty much my fault actually, I…. I messed up and I really hurt Ivan” I said and Owen smiled

“I don’t think I’ve said anything funny” I said

“You just…. you’ve changed so much, the Dianna Hammington that I knew never admits she’s wrong but you just did that” Owen said

“You know Bella might have brought me here to you so you could comfort me but I think she pretty much made the wrong choice” I said

“Is that her name? Bella?” Owen asked

“What? Oh yeah, Bellatrix Hammington, that is her name” I said

“Bellatrix, latin for female warrior and the star on the left shoulder of the Orion Constellation, it’s an amazing name” Owen smiled and I nodded

“You should know Dianna, even though I grew up hating your family, those last few days I spent at your Mansion, though it wasn’t my best days since I was literally bleeding out, I admired you guys, I witnessed firsthand how you all fought for each other and it was really admirable, I understand that things are really rough for you all now but you will scale through this too Dianna Hammington, for I have never seen one as strong and brave as you are” Owen said and tears began to well up in my eyes

“Ahhh what is wrong with my eyes these days” I said as the tears rolled down my face and Owen smiled

“I’m…. I’m sorry you had to die like that, I’m sorry you didn’t get to see your baby girl’s face, I’m sorry you had to die before you even got the chance of being a father, I’m sorry you had to live such a tough life and I’m sorry I even made things harder for you, I’m sorry Owen, I am so sorry” I said as the tears began to role out uncontrollably and Owen smiled

Then I suddenly noticed everywhere was beginning to fade out and I was slowly being back

“What is happening?!”

“Bellatrix, she’s falling asleep so she can’t hold out the spell for much longer” Owen said

“Oh no” I was kind of disappointed, I didn’t want to leave Owen just yet

“I told you before right? Our baby girl, she’s the only one that can save you all” I heard Owen say but his voice sounded so distant and in a twinkle twinkle of an eye, I was back in my bedroom, bedside Bella’s crib, and my baby girl had really fallen asleep

“Thank you for taking me to meet your Dad sweetheart, you really did make me feel better” I said as I placed a light kiss on her forehead

It was nice seeing you Owen and I really missed you alot, I should have told you that, I really do miss you a lot

Ivan’s POV
I drove back to the house and I met Gia and Ethan in the living room
“Where’s Layla?” I asked

“Old woman’s sleeping already” Gia said and I nodded

“So you’ve let Dianna go?” Ethan asked

“Of course he has, this map is showing Dianna is back at Eva’s Mansion” Gia said and I collected the map from her

“What exactly is your plan Ivan? Because I do not understand a tad of what you are doing and I certainly I’m not going to allow you ruin my hard work” she said

“Your hard work?” I asked

“Well I broke into Eva’s Mansion and stole the immortal killing spell so if that spell is just sitting in the shelf and we aren’t making use of it, don’t you think my efforts got wasted then?” Gia asked

“I am tired Gia, we’ll talk tomorrow” I said and I made to leave but she held me back

“I need to hear your plan right now” She said and I looked at her

“You’ve gotten really brave Gia Hammington” I said and she let go of my hand
“Is there any reason you are so keen on hearing what my plan is?” I asked

“I just want to know what is going on, the plan is to kill Dianna but I don’t really see you working towards that” she said

“Your plan is just to kill Dianna, that is not my plan” I said and she looked at me surprised

“What is your plan then? Make peace with her?” Gia asked and I chuckled

“Oh I assure you Gia, we are past making peace, you want to just kill her, I want to scare her first, make her live in fear anticipating how and when I will come for her, then I am going to torture her by slowly killing everyone she cares about and whenever I feel like she’s suffered enough and I feel merciful, I’ll kill her off, is that good of a plan for you?” I asked and Gia kept quiet

“Anyway you should be ready, either Dianna brings her child out or her child remains in, we’ll be getting the baby’s blood tomorrow” I added and walked off to my room…..

Eric’s POV
I laid on my bed staring into the empty space, I really couldn’t get myself to sleep
Is Adrian Hunter really controlling Gia?
And if he is, what is he making her do?

“No!!!” I suddenly heard Eva scream and I ran out to meet her in the couch panting and sweating profusely

“Eva, what’s wrong? What…..” I was left speechless as she suddenly engulfed me in a hug
I was surprised but she was scared so I slowly patted her back

“It’s fine Eva, everything is fine now” I said and then she seemed to have come to a full realization of what is going on now and she immediately let me go

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to do that” she said

“What happened? You had a nightmare?” I asked

“I guess you can call it that, only difference is that it seemed more like a vision” she said

“A vision? What did you see?” I asked and she stared at me for a moment

“I…. I can’t really remember” she said

“What? How can you not remember?” I asked

“It happens Eric, sometimes we have visions but we can’t really point out what happened in the vision as it wasn’t clear enough” she said and I nodded

“Fine, you should get back to sleep then, rest” I said as I made to leave but I stopped

“But why are you sleeping here on the couch and not in your room?” I asked

“What? Nothing, I just find the couch more comfortable” she said but i wasn’t having her lie this time

“What is really going on Eva? Something is going on right?” I asked

“What do you care? Just go back to sleep” she said and I sat on the couch beside her

“Of course I care, I….I care about you” I said and she looked at me
“I’ve always cared about you Eva, you know that”

“Well I guess I did notice” she shrugged

“So? What’s really going on?” I asked

“Can you not ask me any questions and just stay by my side tonight?” she asked

“What?” I was caught off guard, Eva isn’t really the kind of person that is exactly open when it comes to her emotions

“Forget it” she said

“I was just…. I’ll stay here with you and ask no question” I said

“You don’t really have to do that” she said and I huffed
Why does she have to be so stubborn?
But then again she wouldn’t be Eva Jones without the stubbornness

“I’ll be staying here beside you so you can sleep whenever you want, I’ll be here for the rest of the night” I said

“Well, if you insist” she shrugged and I smiled

Dianna’s POV
It was morning and the sun had well risen
I had already bathed my baby girl and clothed her, then I went downstairs with her

“What the hell….” I stopped on my tracks I saw Eva and Eric asleep on the couch with Eric’s arms protectively wrapped around Eva

I smiled as I watched them
At least one of us deserve some happiness no matter how little but happiness aside, I need them awake right now

“Good morning lovebirds” I said and Eva was the first to open her eyes and she immediately sprang up waking up Eric too

“It is not what you think” Eva said quickly

“And what do I think?” I asked

“I don’t know what it is, but whatever it is you are thinking, you are wrong” Eva said

“Ummm…..are you going somewhere Dianna, why are you dressed up so early?” Eric asked

“The past few days have been rough for us all, especially with the coming of Ivan and after my encounter with him, I know he is very much determined, he has not come for my baby not because he can’t but because he wants to torture me first, he wants me to live in fear wondering when he will come for me but I will not do that, I will not stay here waiting in fear of when Ivan will come for me and my baby” I said

“So what are you going to do? Run away with your baby?” Eva asked

“If that’s what it takes for my baby to survive this turbulent period, yes I will” I said

“What?! But Dianna….”

“Don’t try to dissuade me Eric, I….I saw Owen and he told me, he told me Bella is the key, for our family to be together again, Bella is the key to that so my baby has to live no matter what, for us to be one big family again tomorrow, she has to live”

“Where do you plan on taking her to?” Eva asked

“Somewhere very far away from Arcane City” I said

“And you plan on going now?” Eric asked still looking flustered

“Of course not, I promised you that we’ll pay Adrian Hunter a visit today so get dressed and let’s go see that nutjob” I said

“Why would you want to see Adrian Hunter?” Eva asked

“We believe he’s somehow controlling Gia to fight against us” Eric said

“Controlling Gia?! Gia is against you because she hates you two, she is with Ivan and even if she’s been controlled, why the hell will you help someone that’s after your throat?” Eva asked

“She’s still our sister” I said and Eva scoffed

“This over dedication to family is gonna get you all in trouble soon, why consider her as a sister when she sees you as an enemy now? And worse, you want to go and confront the head of the humans for the sake of someone that doesn’t even appreciate you?” Eva asked

“I don’t care what Gia or Ivan believe, we’ve come together for more than a thousand years and this fight isn’t suddenly going to stop them from being our family” Eric said and Eva nodded

“Fine, suit yourselves, go, the city is already in ruins, there’s little you can do to make it worse” Eva stated and Eric went to his room to get dressed

“Don’t tell me you plan on taking Bella with you to Adrian’s house?” Eva asked

“Of course not, I’m leaving her here with you, make sure no harm comes to her till I am back” I said as I handed sleeping Bella to Eva and then I noticed her face

“Are you sure it’s safe for me to leave Bella with you? You look very strained” I pointed out

“Thanks for your concern Dianna but I am fine and you have nothing to worry about” Eva said

“I hope so” I uttered

Eric walked out of his room all dressed

“Shall we?” I asked

“Please try to not kill the head of the humans” Eva said

“I can’t make any promises Eva, see you later” Eric said as he walked out and Eva looked at me

“Do not let him kill Adrian Hunter” Eva said

“I’m afraid I can’t make any promises too” I said and walked out

Gia’s POV
…..”You disgust me Gia not because you are siding with Ivan but because you are supporting him only because whoever is controlling you ordered you to, you are a shame to the Hammington legacy because no Hammington will ever allow his or herself to be controlled by a damn fool!! You are a Hammington no longer Gia and I will find Dianna myself” I remembered Eric’s word as I sat in the living room

“What is wrong with you Gia, stop thinking about that!” I said to myself

And then his word rang in my head
…..”You are mine now, everything you do and say will be controlled by me, you’ve been weak all this while but I will make you powerful and together we’ll rule the whole but for that to happen, we have to get rid of your siblings, all of them……

“You look so lost, what are you thinking about?” Layla asked as she came to sit beside me

“Why do you care? And when did you start caring about me?” I asked and Layla nodded

“You are right, I don’t care about you, I’m just wondering, I can read everybody’s mind in this house, even Ethan who’s the Guardian of The Hell Gates but why the hell can’t I read your mind, did you deliberately do some spells to block me out of your mind because you don’t want me to know what you are thinking?” Layla asked

“I… I have no idea what you are talking about” I said quickly standing up
Then Ivan walked out of his room holding a map

“Dianna is on the move, she isn’t in the Mansion” he said

“So?”

“We need to get the baby’s blood for the spell” he said

“I thought the original plan was to wait till whenever Dianna brings the baby out” I asked

“Well original plan is taking too long to realize so we are going with plan B, where’s Ethan?” Ivan asked and Ethan walked out of his room

“Right here” he said

“Good, if you and Layla get close to the Mansion, can you disable all the spell protecting the house with your combined powers?” Ivan asked

“Umm…. I’m not sure but we could try” Ethan said

“It definitely won’t be easy cause I’m sure Eva would’ve definitely used very strong spells to keep us out” Layla said

“So all you guys are saying is that it’s possible, if so then get ready, you two will disable all the spells sorrounding the Mansion and Gia and I will take care of anything breathing that comes in our way, whichever way things go today, we are getting Dianna’s baby’s blood today”……
