Elina ran into the room after Robby. They saw Kylie sitting at the edge of the bed. She sighted them and stood up.

“Dad?” She called out and hugged Robby.

“Oh Kylie, I’m sorry. I’m sorry I couldn’t do anything to protect you”

“It’s not your fault dad. It’s not” she said and sniffed in. She turned and faced Elina and also wrapped her arms around her.

“Thanks Elina” she said.

“I’m glad you are back” she replied.

Kylie sat back on the bed after her food has arrived.

“Where is your baby?” Elina asked.

Kylie dropped the spoon she was holding and started blinking repeatedly as little tears dropped from her eyes.

“He took him” she replied with a low voice.

“Well, I think that’s good. He also left the forest. We are safe then” Elina said.

“No we aren’t. Do you know what he wants to use the child for?”

They shook their head.

“No one does. I have a feeling he has all of this planned for a long time. I just need my baby” Kylie started sobbing.

“Why don’t you eat your meal then we’ll talk about some things later”

Kylie grabbed her spoon and started eating.

They all sat round a table, listening to what Kylie has been going through all this time.

“All he wanted from me was just s*x. I remembered the night when he infected me with his venom which I technically still have..”

“Wait, you still have his venom” Robby asked, interrupting her.

“Yeah, I do. I have powers just like he has” she replied in a low tone.

“That’s cool then” Jasper added.

Kylie scoffed.
“Cool huh? It’s not cool. With this venom, I can’t control my anger. I kill anyone who makes me angry” she said.

They shot their eyes opened and leaned back on their chair.

“Let’s forget about the venom for now. I understand you want your child and not this venom but you have to move on with your life. The monster is no more”

Kylie sighed deeply.
“You are right Dad. I just have to move on and forget everything behind”

Kylie got to her house days later and saw how messy it was. She spent the whole Saturday cleaning her house.

She had no one to help her with it. She knew some of them were withdrawing from her but she liked it that way. She doesn’t want to harm any of them with her evil venom.

She had her usual breakfast and set out for school.
“What do I tell the principal?” She murmured as she walked to school.

As she got to the entrance, everyone were staring at her.

Cindy saw Kylie and close her mouth in shock.
“Kylie!” She ran to her and hugged her.

“Hi Cindy. Careful” she said to Cindy.
She was still feeling some pain after the delivery.

“You didn’t have to resume school” Cindy said.

“I have to. I’ve spent almost four months away from school” Kylie replied.

“Well, we have test today. Come on, let’s go” she said.

“I’m always prepared for test” she said and walked into the class.

She saw some new faces.

“Kylie!!!” Her classmate yelled.
They ran to her and wrapped their arms around her.

“Hey guys” she said, calmly.

“I missed you so much Kylie” Lilly said.

“I missed you too”

Suddenly, Madison catwalked into the classroom with her gaze on her phone, playing some pop music.

She raised her head and saw Kylie.
“Oh my my, Kylie!”

“Hey Madison” Kylie said and sat on her seat.

“Good morning class. Test starts in five minutes. All book, bags and phone should be out of the…. Oh, hey Kylie. Class!!” The history teacher said.

Kylie had really missed a lot. But she spent some time reading at home before resuming school.

“Welcome back to school Kylie. There are some new hot guys…”

“Cut it out Madison!” Cindy whispered to her.

Kylie just smiled and started preparing for the test.

Everyone in school really missed Kylie. She was quite popular.
Even during lunch, the students still greeted her.

“Woah, there’s been some change since I left” Kylie said.

“Oh yeah, new guys now rule the school and they are super annoying. They are the worst bully on earth. Last week, they stuffed my lunch with cockroach” Cindy said.

“But we couldn’t do anything because we didn’t want to expose our identities” Lilly added.

“Well that won’t happen while I’m here” Kylie said and they cheered.

Immediately, they stopped when they saw the guys walking into the canteen.

Cindy rolled her eyes and started eating her food.
“Here they are” she said.

Kylie turned and saw some young students walking into the canteen.
She giggled softly.

“Why are you laughing?” Lilly asked.

“They are so hot” Madison added and started daydreaming.

“You mean, you guys are scared of these youngsters” she said.

“We didn’t say we were scared. We just don’t want to be friends with bully” Lilly rolled her eyes.

“Whatever. I just don’t want them anywhere close to me. I can eat their brain if they do” Kylie said.

They all laughed loudly.

“What’s funny?!”

They heard someone asking behind Kylie. They were frightened except Kylie.

“Nothing is funny” Cindy quickly replied.

“Hi there” Madison said, waving her fingers.

“Who is this?” He asked, referring to Kylie.

“She’s Kylie. Our friend” Lilly said.

“Oh, I’ve heard so much about you Kylie. Nice to meet you” he said but Kylie didn’t turn to stare at him.
She wasn’t interested in making new friends. She can’t trust anyone, not even herself.

“I’m talking here!” He said angrily.

Kylie sensed that he was angry.
She turned and faced him.

“So?” She asked, standing in front of him.

Everyone watched, leaving their food.
They wondered what they would do to Kylie.

Kylie stared at the cute boy in front of her. He was really handsome but that wasn’t what was in her mind.
He was accompanied by two other guys behind.
It’s noticeable that they were his friends.

“Well, Max is just trying to be friendly” he said.

“I don’t want to be friendly to Max” Kylie said and they all laughed.

He shot them a hard glare and they quickly stopped. They didn’t want to become an enemy of Max.

“Don’t make me hurt you girlie!” Max growled.

Kylie just started at him as her lips curved into a mockery smile.
“Then stay away from me and my friends. We don’t want to be your friends. If you try to act smart with me, I’ll teach you a lesson” Kylie said and turned to her friends.

“Let’s go girls!” She said and walked away from there.
They stood up and followed her behind.

Madison secretly waved at Max as she followed Kylie out of the canteen.

“Who the hell is she?” He murmured asking his friends.

“I don’t know but she looks scary to me”
Max stared at him and walked away.

“Bye Kylie! See your tomorrow” Cindy waved at her as she entered into her house.

She waved back and walked towards the door.
As she searched for her key, her elbow pushed the door open.

“What? I locked the door this morning” she said and entered into her house.

She felt someone’s presence but don’t get who.

“Hello!” She called out.

“Ouch!”
She heard someone groaning in pain and it was coming from the kitchen.

She frowned and went to the kitchen only to find new Jasper cooking.
“Why are you here?” She asked.

“This is also my house remember. I lived here” he replied.

“I can’t believe you are doing this Jasper” she said.

Jasper turned off the gas and faced Kylie.
“What?” He asked.

“After everything, you still choose to be close to me. I thought you were actually dead. I never wanted to love anyone again” she spoke softly, wanting to cry.

Jasper moved close to her and held her face.
“You can never stop loving me no matter how you try”

Kylie heard that and chuckled in tears.
“Don’t make me laugh Jasper”

He smiled and hugged her.
“I really missed you” he said.

“I missed you more. We can stay together and I promise to always protect you all the time”

Kylie smiled broadly and sat on the little table in the kitchen.
“So, what’s cooking?” She asked.

“I’m making spaghetti with meatballs and hot sausage” he said.

“Argh! That sound so yummy. Can’t wait to have some of that” she said.

“Go change into something. It would be ready very soon” he added.

“Sure, yes sir!” Kylie jokingly said and ran to her room.

Jasper just smiled and continued with what she was doing.
He was happy that she’s back and that monster is away, also with the child.

If the child was with her, she wouldn’t have concentrated. Her mind would be on that child.
She wouldn’t have want to move on with her life.

Jasper sighed and dishes out the meal. He set up the table and sat down, waiting for Kylie.

“Kylie! Food is ready!” He yelled.
