Chapter 107 :- Bloody Retaliation

After teleporting out of the reserve with Chris and Morenike, Ebinoluwa arrives home within a blink of an eye after which she begins to cast a protective spell around the house. After that, Ebinoluwa turns her attention on Chris and begins to heal him before it was too late. The effect of the Succubus’s deadly gaze was very powerful and Chris who was still in a hypertonic state was on the verge of a painful demise but luckily for him, his fate was not yet sealed.
Morenike who had been speechless this whole time watched closely as Chris was being healed by her foster sister and as soon as everything was over, she suddenly burst to tears crying silently.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Why are you crying? Chris is okay.
.

Morenike ➡ But he almost died. I can’t take this anymore.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Enough of this already. This isn’t the time for you to be crying. You saw what’s happening outside don’t you? You need to be strong.
.

Morenike ➡ Strong?? Did you know a commercial plane fell right on top of Chris and I? . If it wasn’t for the necklace we would have been crushed and burning in flames right now.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Listen to me. I know this is too much but this isn’t the time for you to be whining. Chris is recovering and all you can do now is pray for him. Just count yourself lucky to be alive.
.

Morenike ➡ I don’t know. Everything that is happening outside remains me of the world’s end. Do you think this is it?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Don’t be silly. The world will end but not today. What we’re facing now is an attack and now is the time to retaliate. You stay here, I need to go check on Rotimi.
.

Morenike ➡ Be careful.

Meanwhile back here in the reserve, Rotimi finds himself in a stand off with Azrel after she had managed to slip from his grasp the moment he had tackled her. Azrel who was surprised by the presence of Rotimi began to sniff him out after which she began to play mind games towards him.

Azrel ➡ You’re a strange one boy. Who are you?
.

Rotimi ➡ Who am I doesn’t concern you. You’re going to pay for what you did.
.

Azrel ➡ You’re half breed aren’t you? Half human, half demon. Have you transformed yet?
.

Rotimi ➡ What?
.

Azrel ➡ I said, have you transformed yet?
.

Rotimi ➡ I don’t know what you’re talking about.
.

Azrel ➡ I can see that. You have great potential but you don’t know how to use it. I can show you.
.

Rotimi ➡ I’m not falling for your tricks. Why are you killing innocent people?
.

Azrel ➡ and why are you defending them, hmm? Why?
.

Rotimi ➡ Because, no one deserves to be victimized for no reason.
.

Azrel ➡ (laughs) isn’t this ironic? Tell me brat, weren’t you victimized by the humans as well?
.

After hearing what Azrel said , Rotimi remained quiet recalling his tragic past and the terrible ordeal he went through. In that moment, Rotimi lost his focus giving Azrel what she needed to pry on him.

Azrel ➡ Tell me boy, what protect these miserable humans after what they did to you? It doesn’t matter if you look like them, they’ll never accept you once they know your origin.
.

Rotimi ➡ Stop talking.
.

Azrel ➡ Join your own kind boy. Live like a demon. With your potential, you could rule over these insects. Make them suffer for what they did to you.
.

Rotimi ➡ No. I won’t stoop to their level. I’m better than they are.
.

Azrel ➡ That lovely witch you came with.. You love her don’t you? I see that she has turned your mind to mush. You can’t see past her breasts and her cunt. That whore has brainwashed you.
.

Rotimi ➡ Don’t you dare talk about Ebinoluwa that way.
.

Azrel ➡ (chuckles) Traitorous bastard. First, you defend human and now you’re in love with a witch. It’s time I taught you some manner brat and as soon as I’m done with you, that witch girlfriend of yours is next.

Infuriated by Azrel’s threats, Rotimi yells angrily and charges towards her with great speed trying to punch her head off and as soon as he gets close, Azrel rushes in with greater speed, grabs him by the throat and slams him hard on the ground.
The impact of Rotimi’s fall made an imprint of his back on the ground and the pain was very excruciating for the latter.
Azrel whose hand was still clutched around Rotimi’s throat effortlessly lifted him off the ground and then tosses him away like trash after which she continues with her mind games.

Azrel ➡ So pitiful. Is this how you’re going to protect your witch girlfriend? The only way you can save her is if you transform but unfortunately, you can’t. Perhaps, I was wrong to even consider you as a kin, you’re an inferiority and blight.

Rotimi ➡ SHUT UP!!!
.

Seeing that Rotimi was charging towards her once more, Azrel stands defiantly thinking that he was blinded by rage but little did she realize that he has an ace up his sleeve. As soon as Rotimi gets close, Azrel tries to stop him in his tracks but before she could do that, a small pile of sand from Rotimi’s hands lands on her bewitching face blinding her temporarily. Seeing the succubus had been stunned by his dirty trick, Rotimi immediately uses the opportunity to give her hell.
Tightening his fists with all his might, Rotimi proceeds to throw them at Azrel punching her hard and brutally. Realizing that Rotimi was starting to overpower her, Azrel gives him a taste of his own medicine by spitting her bloody saliva into his face after which she creates some space between them.

Rotimi who wasn’t blinded for long tries to charge at Azrel again but to his utmost surprise, he sees Ebinoluwa instead. Confused by what was going on, Rotimi decides to stand down and begins to contemplate if this was a trick or not. He didn’t want to do anything that he might regret later.

Rotimi ➡ Babe, is this you?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Of course, I came as soon as I could. You look awful.
.

Rotimi ➡ How did you get here? Just seconds ago, I was fighting the succubus.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Don’t worry love. I took care of her. Come to me, let me heal you with a kiss.
.

Stunned by the strange and alluring beauty of girlfriend not to mention her sexiness, Rotimi goes right ahead into her open arms and shares a romantic kiss with her. The kiss felt so good that Rotimi was soon lost in it to the extent he was unaware of the danger he was in.
Suddenly in that moment, Rotimi falls on his knees gasping for breath and at the same time feeling weak. He then proceeds to collapse on the ground feeling weaker than ever and in that moment, he looks up and sees the vicious smile on Ebinoluwa’s face but what came next shook him completely. Seeing that her plan was a success, Azrel reverts her to her previous form and then transforms into her real form. Slowly and gradually, Rotimi watches as Azrel’s fair skin becomes so smooth and silky like that of a snake, her eyes too had changed into that of a cat. Another thing that emerged from Azrel’s body were large raven black wings and long tail that matched her skin. Long claws emerged from her hands and feet. Despite this transformation, Azrel was beyond stunning. Her supernatural beauty was that of a goddess.
After her transformation, Azrel stares down at Rotimi with disgust and begins to kick him hard in the ribs after which she matches his head with her right foot. Rotimi who was mad with rage tried to fight back but the pain in his body wouldn’t let him. He tried to heal but nothing was working.

Azrel ➡ You fool! Did you honestly think you can take me on? Don’t even bother trying to fight. You’re already dead, the kiss I shared you with is called the *kiss of death*. If I wanted I could snuff out your pitiful life right now but I’m just going to let you suffer first.

Rotimi ➡ I’m going to kill you.
.

Azrel ➡ (laughs) Kill me? And how do you intend to do that huh? Show me?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ LIKE THIS!
.

Startled by the sound of Ebinoluwa’s voice, Azrel tries to react but before she could move a muscle, tree roots emerged abruptly from the ground and binded her. Azrel struggles to break herself free but the more she did, the more tighter the root coiled her. In that moment, Ebinoluwa appears instantly in front of Azrel and begins to assault her viciously. She slaps and punches the succubus but her efforts only worst Rotimi’s condition.

Ebinoluwa ➡ How dare you hurt my boyfriend?
.

Azrel ➡ Foolish witch! You better stop now or he does. His life is in my hands.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ What did you do to him?
.

Azrel ➡ Oh we shared a kiss. He was going to kill me so I decided to use what he loves to most to destroy him. (laughs)
.

Ignoring the mocking remarks of Azrel, Ebinoluwa focuses her attention on Rotimi who was flinching with pain. Without hesitation, Ebinoluwa uses her healing spell on Rotimi so as to heal him.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Don’t worry babe, everything is going to be alright.

Azrel ➡ Your healing magic won’t work. Only I can end his pain.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Cancel the effect of your kiss or suffer the consequences.

Azrel ➡ You can’t kill me. I’m the only one that can save your boyfriend.

Ebinoluwa ➡ You can’t negotiate your way out of this. Save him now or suffer a fate worst than death.

Azrel ➡ (laughs) Do you worst bitch!

Infuriated by Azrel’s defiance, Ebinoluwa tries put a curse on her but before she could do that, she was interrupted by an unexpected presence. Coming to her aid of her love interest, Xeira uses her water whips to slash off the roots that binded Azrel and as soon as that was done, the duo suddenly lurch themselves towards the young witch from both sides. Reacting quickly to the situation, Ebinoluwa quickly casts a defensive spell around herself and Rotimi by creating a barricade of flame.
Seeing that their plans had been ruined, Xeira and Azrel retreat to a safe distance after which they begin to taunt Ebinoluwa to lower her guard.

Xeira ➡ Well, well, well. If it isn’t the girl with all gifts? Ebinoluwa!
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Xeira, one of these days I’m going to smoke the life out of you.
.

Xeira ➡ Is that right? I see your half breed bastard of a boyfriend is itching with pain. Shouldn’t you be worried about him?
.

Azrel ➡ He’s under the influence of my death kiss. He should be dead any moment now.
.

Xeira ➡ Some girlfriend you are! Standing by as your lover’s life is on the balance.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ SHUT UP!!!
.

Feeling enraged by Xeira’s mocking words, Ebinoluwa disperses her wall of flame conjuring it into hundreds of flaming birds after which she unleashes on both the mermaid and her lover.
In that moment, Xeira positions herself and unleashes a powerful burst of water trying to snuff out the flames. As for Azrel, seeing that Ebinoluwa was preoccupied with Ebinoluwa with her lover, she then flies around and tries to attack her from behind.
Unfortunately for the succubus, Ebinoluwa had sensed her presence and intentions so she laid out a trap for her. Thinking that Ebinoluwa’s attention was still on Xeira she charges in with full speed from behind trying to kill her. Just as the succubus was about to get close, Ebinoluwa absorbs Xeira’s water and then uses dark alchemy turning it into acid after which she unleashes on Azrel. After being splashed with acid, Azrel yells in pain retreating with haste. Xeira who had noticed the brutality unleashed on her lover charges towards Ebinoluwa trying to kill her with her powerful sonic scream but just as she was about to do that, Oliver appears out of nowhere and blasts her with powerful burst of flame.
Despite getting burnt, Xeira manages to retreat towards Azrel to check on her. Much to Ebinoluwa’s surprise, Azrel had already healed from her wounds but the one thing that she couldn’t heal was her burning rage for the young witch.

Oliver ➡ Ebinoluwa, are you alright?

Ebinoluwa ➡ I’m fine uncle but my boyfriend needs help.

Azrel ➡ You will pay for this witch. Mark my words, your boyfriend will die.

Xeira ➡ One of these days, I will have your head little witch starting with your mother’s.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Why wait that long? I’m right here.
.

Xeira ➡ Come on Azrel, let’s go.
.

In that moment, Azrel grabs hold of Xeira and takes off into the sky with incredible speed and as soon as they were gone, Ebinoluwa tends to Rotimi whose condition had gone from bad to worst. Trying her luck one last time, the young witch casts a different and powerful healing spell on her boyfriend whilst praying silently in her mind.
After casting the spell, Ebinoluwa places Rotimi’s head on her laps waiting to see if the spell had worked on him. For a while, Rotimi was silent but eventually he places his hand on Ebinoluwa’s chin expressing his gratitude.

Rotimi ➡ Thanks for the save, babe.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Oh Rotimi, thank God. Are you alright?
.

Rotimi ➡ Better than I was moments ago. How’s Chris?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ He’s okay.
.

Rotimi ➡ What about the succubus?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ She’s gone.
.

Oliver ➡ Alright Ebinoluwa, let’s get going.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Where to Uncle?

Oliver ➡ This isn’t over yet. Ibadan is chaos. It’s up to us to restore order.

Spending time with Hadiza is one of the things I cherish in the world but sometimes too much of a good thing can be tiring for a while. Ever since Hadiza learnt about the massacre of the Anti-magic users, she had taken it upon herself to train me how to fight and defend myself . At first, I was excited about it but then I realized it wasn’t what I expected.
Besides being sweet and all, Hadiza is a strict teacher. Ever since we began to train in her community, she has been pushing me to the limit. I wanted quit this training of hers but then I realized she was doing this out of love and this could help me out a lot in the near future. The first thing Hadiza taught me was channeling my Anti magic into objects and weapons. It was easy to master but the next thing she taught me wasn’t easy at all and that was the use of weapons.
Hadiza’s favorite weapon was her whips. No one in her community could come close to her when it comes to using whips. Her mastery of the whips was known all over the north especially when she dances with it and because of that, many wizards had come to seek for her hand in marriage but they were all disappointed when they found out it she was engaged to me.
Another reason why Hadiza decided to train me was because of duel challenges that i will soon face from the wizards from the norths. According to their own custom, any wizard that seeks or desires another wizard’s female companion shall challenge him to a death duel. Whoever wins takes the spoils of the loser which includes his property, land, wives etc. Hearing about that custom motivated me to train hard and become strong cause not only do I not want to die but I can’t lose Hadiza either. I rather bend than to do so.

Presently, here I was out in the desert oasis with Hadiza training with her as usual. It’s been a few days since we started training and so far I’ve been making steady progress. My main problem however was using weapons in a fight but then again, I’ve managed to secure a couple of daggers which I realized I was quite handy with. After training for nearly an hour, Hadiza decided to give me some time off.

Riley Jr ➡ Ah. I don tire o.
.

Hadiza ➡ Take your time and relax. You still have a long way ahead of you.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Remind me why I’m doing this again?
.

Hadiza ➡ Because if you can’t defend yourself. You’ll lose everything including me.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Oh God. Isn’t there any exception for kids?
.

Hadiza ➡ (laughs) You’re past the age of 10 so.. I’m afraid not. Care to join me for some fura?
.

Riley Jr ➡ Sure.
.

Hadiza ➡ Excuse me for a moment. I need to cool myself off.
.

One good thing about this hard training is getting to watch Hadiza getting sticky. I always drool seeing how her body gets wet especially around her cleavage. The best part is watching her splashing the oasis water on her stunning figure. Ahh, I can’t wait to be old enough cause Hadiza is going to get one hell of a wotowoto on our wedding night.
As Hadiza was about to splash some water on her body, the sky suddenly grew dark and the atmosphere was filled with strong powerful wind. In that moment, a big sandstorm emerged and began to head our way. Seeing that the sand storm was closing in, I quickly rushed towards Hadiza and teleported us both back to my parent’s house by mistake. As soon as we appeared there, we noticed Morenike with teary eyes praying over Chris who was unconscious. Morenike was usual was startled by our presence that she screamed out loud as if she had seen a ghost.

Riley Jr ➡ AH, do you want to burst out ear drums?

Hadiza ➡ Calm down Morenike, it’s us.
.

Morenike ➡ I’m sorry.
.

Hadiza ➡ What happened here?
.

Morenike ➡ Wait? You don’t know what has been going on?
.

Riley Jr ➡ Not exactly.
.

In that moment, Morenike briefly told us what had happened in Ibadan and what she and Chris had went through. Hadiza and I stared at each other after she was done telling us everything.

Riley Jr ➡ So the storm that occured in the desert..
.

Hadiza ➡ Yes. That’s no coincidence. I felt something unnatural about it.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Is your community going to be safe?
.

Hadiza ➡ Don’t worry, they’ll be fine. In the meantime, it’s time for you to put your training to good use.

Riley Jr ➡ You can’t be serious?
.

Hadiza ➡ I am but don’t worry, I’ll be by your side.
.

Morenike ➡ What are you talking about? He’s just a kid.
.

Hadiza ➡ Maybe but he needs to learn to protect himself incase there’s no one around. Besides he’s no ordinary kid.
.

Riley Jr ➡ So when do we head out?
.

Hadiza ➡ Night fall.
