I sat on a bench that was in the corner of the swimming class
“here is a towel ” Leo said and handed me a towel.
He had saved me from the pool earlier
“thank you, I didn’t know you were going to save me ” I said and he sat beside me
“It’s okay, I’m also sorry for telling you you are nosy, I just don’t like getting in trouble ” he said and I smiled
I looked around and saw other students staring and whispering
That crazy bastard left the swimming class after Leo saved me
I’m gonna make you apologize, just wait and see
“Kids in our class can be scary at times, whenever they are giving you hærd times, come to me, I will protect” he smiled and walked out of the class
Zoey ran to me after he was gone
“Is my eyes deceiving me? ” she asked scrubbing her eyes

“Was that really Leo? ” she asked and I gave her a weird look
“Leo never speaks to anyone not to talk of saving you from the pool” she paused and stared at me suspiciously
“Don’t tell me you guys are couple ” she whined and I scoffed

I walked to the Male’s restroom and saw Mj washing his hands in the wash hand basin
“You have no conscience ” I said but he ignored me
“Harassing my father is not enough? Why are you doing this to the new girl? ” I asked and he looked at me with a smirk on his face
“Do you want to be harassed too? Stay out of it! ” he said and turned to go but I stopped him
“Your egos are so huge so much that it’s has stretch marks ” I said
“I don’t have time to waste with common folks, is there more to say? ” he asked and I grab the collar of his clothes
“That girl……. If you touch her one more time, I won’t let it slide” I said and he removed my hand
“Too bad! I am not yet done with her ” he said and I wanted to punch him but some students entered
“I will let it slide today” I said and turned to leave
“Have you forgotten? Without me, what will your family eat, without me?, where will your family stay? Without me, you are useless and hopelessly vain ” he said and walked outside

Manager Tim drove me to my father’s house, he told me to come home
But I don’t know the reason yet
I came down from the car and walked in,side the house
I saw him in the living room and beside him was a lady
“Why did you want him home? ” I sat down and crossed my leg
” I guess you haven’t been able to visit your father because you are busy ” he said and I looked at the woman
“Who is she? ” I asked and he held her hand
“After your mom’s death, I decided to re-marry ” he said and I found myself laughing
“Why are you laughing?” he asked and I brushed my hair out of my eyes
“you can’t be serious right? You are really joking ” I said still laughing
“I’m being serious right now ” he half yelled and I stood up
” I decline, you want to re-marry so that you can forget my mother forever ” I said and he shook his head.
“That’s not true Max, I’m doing this for you ” he said
“No thanks, my schedule is tight, don’t you ever call me for something like this again! ” I yelled and turned to go when my chest started to ache
I gro-ned in pain and held manager Tim
“Are you okay? ” the lady asked and wanted to touch me but I jerked her hand away
” Who said you can touch me, don’t get your hopes high, you are not getting married to my dad so just leave” I managed to say cause my chest was aching a lot that I could barely stand
“Is it your heart disease again? You need to go to the hospital ” Dad said and I looked at him
“I will disown you if you marry her, I really mean it, I……….” Manager Tim covered my mouth
“Sir, I will take him to the hospital ,take care ” he said and helped me in,side the car
“You know you don’t have the ability to talk too much or yell, why are you punishing yourself ” he said and started the engine
“Just shut up and drive” I winced in pain

After doing all the part time jobs i have, I walked home and collapsed on the bed

We both walked down the Street but I still wondered how he knew my house
“I’m sorry if I surprised you” he said and I looked at him
“It’s okay, but how did you know where I live? ” I asked
” I have been following you after your part time job was over ” he said
“Do you have something to say to me?” I asked and he stopped walking
” No….I was just feeling bored at home” he said and I nod
We both sat on a bench
“Zoey told me you are quite close with Mj” I said and he scoffed
“Mj used to my best friend ” he said and I gasped
“Best friend? ”
“Yes, but after his mother’s death, he suddenly turned to a monster” he said and I sighed
“I suddenly feel bad for him, but why did you stop being friends? You should have stayed with him after his mother’s death”
” I couldn’t stand the Way he treated my dad, it was so annoying and embarrassing, I can’t be friends with someone who treats my dad like That” he said and I couldn’t say anything for a while
I stood up and smiled
“it’s so cold this night, you should go home, cheer up Leo ” I said and turned to leave but he suddenly grab my hand
“Wait a minute ” he said and took of his jacket and covered me with it
“Thank you for chatting with me this night” he said and smiled
“You can return my jacket later ” he said and walked away
I walked back home and took of his jacket
You are the only one who is nice to me in that school
The next day, I walked to my seat and sat down when two girls, Sophia and Sage walked up to my seat and sat on my table
“Hey New student, I saw you with Leo yesterday night, what was that all about ” Sophia said and I sighed
” I don’t have time for this, can you please go” I said and they smirked
The other one, sage move closer to me
“you had better not flirt with my Leo, I will make your life hell if you do so ” she said and they both sashayed away

I walked to the cafeteria and sat alone on a table eating my food
“Aren’t you bored the way you are alone? ” Manager tim asked and sat opposite me
“Who said you can sit down, stand up ” I said with a command tone and he sighed before standing up
“Mj, will you let me sit at least for a minute, I have been working all day ” he said and I looked at him
“You don’t look someone who has been working ” I said and continue eating
I looked up and saw the new student coming with her food
I smiled and placed my leg on the way
However, I was happy when she fell down with her food
“You did that intentionally right? ” she half yelled and I looked at her all innocently

“You are really annoying……” she stood up and dusted her clothes
“Apologize ” she said and everyone turned their attention to us
“Are you kidding ” I chuckled
“Do I look like someone who is kidding right now! You are always ruining my things, I haven’t seen my necklace ever since you threw it in,side the pool!” she yelled at me
” I can’t blame you, it’s because you are comfortable, you have never lost something precious to you ” she said and walked out of the cafeteria

“It’s seems like you have someone to shut you down ” he said and walked away

After lunch, I was in the classroom when Jane, the class vice president walked up to me
“Irene, do you wanna play a dare game?” she asked and I shook my head

“You are the only one refusing, everyone are waiting for you ” she said and pointed to the girls in our class
“You See. You are the only one who is not there yet ” she said and dragged me among those girls
“Okay so let’s start the dare game ” Sage said and spined the bottle
She was going to dare Zoey
“I dare you to be my errand girl for two hours ” she said and everyone started to laugh
“Why should I? ” Zoey whined and spined the bottle
It turned out she was going to dare me
“Hm, Irene I dare you…..to…… Kss the first guy that will open that door ” she said and everyone became silent waiting patiently for the first guy to open the door

“guys, you know games like this are not meant for high school students ” I said and wanted to stand up but Jane pinned me back
“Where do you think you are going? You have to kss him ” she whispered and I sighed with frustration
