Nicole’s POV

Hearing her voice reminded me of those days when we went to the karaoke on her tenth birthday

I loved hearing night core from childhood so she made it a point of duty to learn every song from nightcore by heart

This song she was singing now was the exact song she sang for me when I turned sixteen

Her pleasant voice renewed its way through my heart, tears gathered around my eyes like it used to whenever she sang this particular song to me

She stopped singing and the calm class which listened rapidly to her voice stood up in a standing ovation for her

They clapped and clapped for her like she was a princess but one thought bothered me
Why did she sing this song all of a sudden?

She took her back pack and ran out of the class to every one’s amazement
Then, I saw Chloe stand up and leave too….

Bella’s POV

I ran out with my backpack ready for home, I shouldnt have sang that song knowing fully well that I used to sing it for Nicc

I’m bitter, I feel that way. I cleaned my tears still walking my way out of the school gate when I noticed that someone was following me

I turned around to see Chloe with his backpack going home like me
“Where are you going? “I asked him and he shrugged coming closer to me

“Well, school is boring and… ”

“You need a medication for that swollen face of yours “I finished up what he wanted to say and he nodded

“Come here”I pointed so he would come closer
“What”

I pointed at a space before me and he shifted nervously towards me
I examined his red swollen face and pitied him

“Is it painful? “I asked and he nodded,
“I’m sorry, you shouldn’t always make out ruining your face in it”I nagged and he nodded again with admiration in his eyes

We began walking in silence, no one spoke to the other, each of us busy on our own thoughts
I sighed taking a glance to him to see that he was watching me carefully and smiling to himself

“What is it? “I asked him seeing the amusement on his face
“Is my face that funny to you? “I added thinking maybe he was staring at my scary ugly face and he shook negatively

“No, you are just simple and I like simple girls like you”
He replied counting his words and I nodded as we walked slowly along the road

Few minutes later, the sky made a loud noise as everywhere began to tighten up for a big rain which will soon surface
“Oh dear its a rain coming!! “I yelled staring at him with awe-stricken eyes

“Yes and I have no umbrella “he added and I sighed in frustration
“We shouldn’t have left school don’t you think? “I asked and he nodded touching the loose ends of his hair

Chloe’s POV

Her face read fear and scared which made her look much more beautiful
I wasn’t scared of the rain, the only thing I think I was scared as of now was getting separated from her when we both reach our destination

Maybe the rain should fall after all so she won’t leave me in a hurry
I was still thinking about that when a heavy thunder struck the sky and she cried out running into me for protection

Her soft br**st touched my chest slowly and softly which made me gasp before her whole body landed into me
“Ahhhh, a thunderbolt!! “She exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around my waist

I couldn’t think anymore, all I could hear were faint sounds coming from all directions, all I cared to hear of was her soft cries over the thunder bolt which hit the sky without stopping for a moment

What is she doing to me? Why do I feel this way about her? Her hair scent penetrated its way into my nose and I took in those pleasant scent wishing it never goes away

Will she stay with me like this forever? I wish this rain will fall on the both of us like this
Soon, the thunder stopped and a distant sound of a rainy noise was heard

She looked up from my chest with her eyes widening before crying out
“Its a rain Chloe! ”

As I wanted… I thought grinning at my own thought when I felt her palm grabbing mine as she broke into a run making me run after her

Her palms are as soft as pillow, I wish this rain gets harder so she won’t leave my hand alone

Her hair knot undid itself and it came all the way down to her shoulders and the rain rushed into it making it instantly wet as it flung about as she ran

I smiled watching her body get all wet, she looked pleasant with her wet skin
We stopped running when we reached a garage, she disengaged her hands from mine

I took my eyes off from her blouse, it was enticing tho cuz the wetness exposed her brā and her bøøbs which stood out of it

I panted heavily still my eyes were on her,
“Damn! I’m so wet”she murmured and I almost coughed at the word WET, I looked up at her again and she was coming close to me

Fear gripped me for no reason that I took my steps backward even though everywhere turned cold cuz of the rain that was falling, I felt instant hotness traveling around my body making me sweat all over

She advanced the more coming so close to me until she lowered herself infront me, I looked down to see her sitting down on a mound of stone which was infront of me all this while

I exhaled loudly but still, I was shivering lightly
She looked at me
“You caught a cold! You’re shivering!! “She cried getting up again and making me sit down on the stone she was sitting few seconds ago

She felt my forehead with her palm
“Oh my bad! You’re burning!! “She cried again throwing her wet back pack down from her back

If only she knew that I wasn’t burning cuz of cold, I was burning cux of her, if only she knew that
She ran to the edge of the garage and came back again in a hurry

“The rain is falling so badly Chloe, you have to endure through okay? ”
She assured feeling my forehead again before she rubbed her palms with mine to keep me warm

It did made me feel better, why won’t I feel better when she was holding her hands with mine?
The feeling was out of the world

She blew her breath into my hands making me become lost staring at those lips which I really wanna kiss someday

An urge over took me that instant, I grabbed her waist and sat her down beside me leaning my head on her shoulder

That wasn’t what I intended to do, my body wanted hers but I kept my urge down by doing what I did

“I will be okay Bella so stop making noise”I said coldly to her and she stopped talking

Soon, there was silent between us as we both listened to the torrent voice of the heavy rain

Hour later, the rain stopped making everywhere become calm for a moment
She sighed taking her eyes to me, I looked away immediately cuz she caught me again looking at her

I don’t know why I can’t control my self from staring at her, she keeps catching me each time I look at her, jeez!

“Are you okay now? “She asked and I nodded lightly

“Thanks”I muttered,
She groaned slightly and I stood up nervously wondering what might be wrong with her that made her groan like that

“What’s wrong? “I asked touching her neck but she pulled my hand away
“I’m fine”she said with her face reading out the shyness in them

I shrugged still worried about her, she squeezed her face a little but will check herself when she dart her eyes to me to see me staring at her

“Let’s go then “I said getting up and she resisted for a while before getting up

She took up her back pack moving out earnestly in a rush and that was when I noticed a blood stain at the back of her skirt

My eyes widened after seeing that, she’s on her period! Oh my bad, I think that’s the pain she felt earlier followed by the shyness

“Bella there is a blood stain at the back of your shirt”

Bella’s POV

“There is a blood stain on the back of your skirt ”
Made my legs freeze from moving, I’ve been having that feeling minutes ago but I didn’t know it would be this bad to the extent of staining my dress

I felt like crying or maybe the ground should open so I could enter and the worst of it all, the rain started again adding to the pain I was feeling in my lower abdomen and the embarrassment I just got

I felt his steps coming closer to me and I fidgeted badly
“Are you okay? “He asked me but I didn’t speak or even look at him in the face

He took off his sweater and turned me around so that my back was facing him
He tied his sweater around my waist covering the stain while the hands of his sweater hung loosely infront of me due to the way he tied it

He turned me around
“Does it hurt so much? do you have a pad in your backpack? “He asked curiously looking into my eyes, I looked away from him
I’m so embarrassed and shy to even speak

“You don’t have to be shy, it wasn’t your fault”he said calmly appearing to have read my expression
“Now come here”he added holding my hand and making me sit on a little seat on the garage

Another cramp made me get up swiftly
“Does it hurt that much? Let me see “he squatted down to my tummy area and touched it

I pulled his hands away really surprised that he was worried
Why would he be? Nicc was never bothered whenever I had my period
He will say that am so careless not to know my periodical table and all that crap

He went to his bag pulling out his tissue and I looked away from him
What does he think he’s doing?

“Its badly wet cuz of the rain”he said to me coming back to my side again
“Can you endure? “He asked and I nodded nervously

He sighed looking down to my laps area, I covered my legs
“Your skirt will be stained the more before you get home right? “He asked after he took his eyes away from my skirt

“Yeah”I mouthed with my gaze still far away from him,
He sighed again
“… And the rain is falling again, we can’t enter the rain don’t you think? ”

Why is he getting worked up about this? He’s making me look so embarassed, a girl who can’t tell when she will be having her next period and prevent an embarassment is not qualified to be called a girl

Soon, I caught a cold and I shivered terribly coupled with the pain and my dirty skirt
This is the most embarassing day of my life

He was startled when he saw me shivering cuz of cold
“Oh my bad! You’re shivering?! ”
“You know what, wait here okay? Lemme go out there and get a pad for you”

What! In the rain? Or don’t he see that the rain is falling? Does he want to catch a cold like me?
“No, I will be fine, I have some at home”I spoke but he was far from being persuaded

“Wait here okay? “He said before running out into the rain before my very eyes making me more baffled than ever
Nicc never did this to me

I ran to a nearby store twenty paces away from the garage, I was so drenched but I didn’t care as far as I got her something she wanted for the moment

“Oh my bad! Highschooler! Can’t you see its raining”the seller nagged when I came to her store panting for breath and cold

I will definitely get catarrh when I get home, I won’t care!
I walked in to the store looking for something I wanted

I went back to the store and picked out some canned foods (noodles) for the both of us
“Here, name the price “I spoke dropping what I brought infront of her table again

She eyed me
“Your family must be rich ”
“Hurry can’t you see I’m going back into the rain”I reminded rudely

She called the price and I paid off again rushing out again with what I bought into the rain, rushing to go meet her

Few minutes later, I was back in the garage and I met her squatting instead of sitting
My footsteps got her alarmed that I was back

She turned to me really surprised by the look on her face
“Oh my God! Chloe you will catch a cold”she said but I smirked

I was happy cuz she was caring about my health now
“I won’t”I replied smiling briefly as I brought out the pad I bought for her from the leather bag

“Here, I don’t know the type you… ”
“Thanks so much Chloe, I really appreciate “she cut me out really happy

That’s what I wanted, for her to be happy with any little thing I do for her
My own happiness was tripled when I saw those smile spread across her cheeks again

My heart thumped harder
“Thanks Chloe “she repeated fumbling with it
She’s really happy about it? I laughed a bit watching her cute little face

I brought out the canned foods I bought and her eyes dilated into a wider gaze at me
“You bought food! “She cried happily

“How did you know I was hungry? “She asked
“Well, I am hungry too”I replied showing her my own food and she smiled again

I noticed that she was feeling uncomfortable maybe cuz she wanted to wear her p*d, so I turned to another direction

“You can change am not looking “I said, it was tempting tho but I had to hold myself from looking at her

“I’m done! “She shouted to me few minutes later and I turned my face to her again
She undid the cap of the flask digging into the noodles with the fork which came along with the food

“You like it? “I asked when she took two to four spoonful
She nodded her head at me before breaking into a smile

“But… “She added
She pointed to a space beside her for me to sit down
I sat down like she wanted and she continued
“You forgot something”she said looking closely at my face

I couldn’t lie that those gaze never had effect on my cheeks, it was burning red and I was so shy by those looks of hers

I looked down from her face staring at her neck thinking it was safer if I looked at her that way but those little beads of water and strands of hair which gummed to her neck making it look so sexy to kiss made me look away immediately going down to her chest area…

“Hey Chloe”she jolted me back to my senses
“Huh… “I replied out of the blues
“I said you forgot something ”
“Oh… Something like what? Sweater? Are you that cold… “I felt her forehead… “you can endure right? ”
She giggled showing those wonderful teeth of hers again

“Nope, I wasn’t gonna talk about that
You forgot water! You forgot to buy one”she said chuckling and I got what she was saying

“Oh! Let me go and… “She held my hand from leaving again
“You really want to catch a cold? “she kinda nagged and I felt loved, does she like me too? Ofcuz she can’t when Nicc is there… My subconscious said and I immediately went down

She noticed my mood
“What’s wrong? “She asked me but I shook my head
“Its nothing its… ”

“Ahhhh”an instant sharp cry of pain coming from her made me cut my speech off, I held her to myself

“What’s wrong? Is it painful? ”
I asked getting so worked up by her painful mood
She was holding her tummy and groaning

“This noodles I ate made it more ahhh… ”
“Damn! Let me rub your tummy huh, hey! ”

I sat her down carefully, I didn’t wait for any permission from her before I began rubbing her tummy gently massaging it for her till she was calm again

“I’m sorry I am embarassing”she apologized with strain of tears in her eyes
“You needn’t cry, its not your fault “I replied and she didn’t seem satisfied with that answer

“Here let me sing for you”I suggested and she looked at me with admiration in her eyes

“I can sing”I assured her and she gave a small laugh before nodding her head which meant that I should go on

I cleared my throat suddenly getting nervous until I started singing
“🎶Mummy has a child,child has a teddy bear, daddy got a car… ”

She started laughing at the funny song I was singing….
