THE QUEST (A Quest for Power)

Chapter 14
Paa: (Bowing down to the king) My king, I couldn’t find the man you told me to go in search for. His brother, told me that Omiku has long gone to the forest for hunting.
King: Okay then, you can go. (The guard went back to his post).

Dontizu raised up her hands in the air, a magical cage appeared and caged Dona in it. Dona was still processing what Dontizu had revealed to her.
Dontizu: (Laughing) Watch as I destroyed Ampoka Kingdom (She raised her hands once more and started chanting out some incantation. Her hands glows a bit green as her chant increases the more.
Some alien figures appeared in form of wolves. They were lean, has the face of lion, their eyes were four each.) After waiting for thousands of years the time has come for me. (Laughing out again, then turned to face Dona) I won’t end you now, but after my victory, my nameless destroyers will be the one to end you. (Turned to look at her nameless destroyers) Go and destroy the kingdom of Ampoka, do not let any living being out of your sight. (They all ran out with inhuman fastest speed as they all ran towards the kingdom of Ampoka).

Tashaina felt the presence of the nameless destroyers as they approach the kingdom. She smirked as it showed on her face. Having making sure her room was tightly secured, she magically made a huge mirror appeared in front of her. She saw as they speed coming towards the kingdom.
Tasha: (In a strong commanding tone) Stop!! (Surprisingly the nameless destroyers all came to an halt as they heard a new stronger voice in their head) I am your new mistress and you will have to do what I say. Go back to where you are all coming from, kill any living being there and wait for me there. That would be your new home. (Without saying a word, the nameless destroyers turned back the previous way and ran with inhuman speed towards Dontizu).
Tashaina laughed out loud to her heart content. Dontizu has forgotten that the creature has been the creation of her father in the first place, he had taught Dontizu how to unlock the nameless destroyers and also taught his daughter, Tashaina.
Tashaina once remembered when she asked her father why the creatures were given that name and her father reply was:
They were made to forget their names because, once they remember who they really are then they are free. They were placed under a curse to roam round the world as a nameless creatures. Although their cursed state gave them powers, powers to destroy.

Chapter 15
Omiku got up to see a human lady smiling down at him.
The strange Lady: You freed me from my cage Omiku, thank you.
Omiku: (Omiku looked surprised) How did you know my name strange Ms? (Omiku wondered greatly).
The strange Lady: (The lady laughed out softly) Why won’t I know the names of my people that are from Ampoka Kingdom. In case you don’t know who you just freed, I am Dain.
Omiku: (Expresses shocked) Our missing Queen of Ampoka Kingdom, the mother of our reigning king. (Knelt down and bows his head) Greetings Queen of Old.
Dain: (Nods her head In appreciation) You are kind, but I feel trouble is about to begin. Let’s go home.

Tashaiana smiled to herself, her plans will work. Once Dontizu and Dona is gone, Ampoka Kingdom is hers and hers alone.

Dona smiled as She blocked the ray of light coming her way by raising up her hand.
Dona: (A scornful smiled embedded on her l-ips) You are not the only one with powers, Dontizu.
Dontizu: But I have the magical stone which automatically makes me the stronger person with magic between us.
Dona: (Rolls her eyes) You are too full of yourself Dontizu and it would lead you to your grave.
Dontizu: (Laughed) Well said Dona, let’s see who has the last laugh. (Before any of them would attack, the nameless destroyers made their presence known, surprising Dontizu who turned to look at them) I command you to go to Ampoka Kingdom and destroyed, no, shærds that kingdom into pieces. (The nameless destroyers growled at Dontizu the more and attacked).
Dona: (Speaking to the Princess through her mind) What just happened? Why are they here to kill us? (Dona asked as she use her magic to blow one creature away from her).
Princess Shaba: I think it is the hand work of Tasha, I feel her controls in them. They are in her command.
Dona: This is serious, how can we defeat this nameless destroyers. (Dona asked as she slice through one of the creatures).
Princess Shaba: I am going to give you the real Magical stone, though I feel help is on its way.
Dona: (One of the beast nearly cut through her throat for her distractions when the Princess told her what she just heard). You are going to give me the Magical heart-stone (She has to be sure she heard right).
Princess Shaba: Yes Dona, be prepared it is going to put you in a lot of pains.

Dain and Omiku rushed to the Palace, Dain flew in the air holding of the arms of Omiku as they flew towards the Palace.
They landed in,side the compound as all the guards looked shocked to see her.
Not affected by the reactions of the Palace guard, she and Omiku went in,side towards the throne room.
The king, his wife and the elders were swept off their feet when they saw Dain, in fact they were rendered speechless.
King: (Mouth opened in bewildered as he stares at his long lost mother. Of course he cannot forget that face) Mother (he whispered mostly to himself but Dain l-ips went upward as she was pleased her son recognized her after so many years).
Dain: My son (Whatever she had wanted to say was rudely interrupted by a hand clapping. Everyone turned to know where it came from. Dain face squeezed in disdain) You.
Tasha: (Still clapping. Her face changed totally) Yes Dain, we meet again.

Final Chapter
Chapter 16
King: Mother, do you know her? (The king was in a midst of confusion as his mother stares at Tasha with utterly hatred in her eyes)
Dain: (Nods her head) Yes, I know her. She is the person who took me unawares and trapped me for a long time. This lady standing before us is a witch, a very cunny and dangerous one. I wonder how you opened doors for her without finding her past first.
Tasha: (Smirking) What a lovely introduction Dain. I must confess you look good too. After all I kept you in a confined place. Well enough of this chit chat Dain, you know why I am here.
Queen: You still have the nerves, the effrontery to talk back to my mother in law, are You nuts?.
Tasha: Geez too much of noise (She flip up a finger and everyone except Dani freezed, she turned back to Dani) Now that we don’t have any disturbance can we continue. I asked you where did you keep that heart stone Dani, I won’t repeat myself.
Dain: Are you done yet, because I am ( Dani raised her arms up and sent a ball of light towards Tasha who dodged it and sent hers back.
This continued for a while.
Tasha was so engrossed with her fight that she didn’t noticed when Dona crept behind her and place a palm on her back. Tasha couldn’t move no matter how hærd she tried too.
Princess Shaba was holding a very unconscious Dontizu on one of her shoulders. She was walking without the aid of anyone, she had regain her sight.
They had fought with Dontizu and the nameless destroyers. When Shaba gave her the real stone that has been kept hidden beside her heart. With the powers unleashed in the stone, Dona saw herself in a tower, lifeless and worn out. In the middle stood a table and a book, the very size of the table itself. There was an old writing on it which says.
‘Call thy wolfs name’
She saw a spelling beneath it and said it out.
When she said the name out, a bright light emulates around her, it’s ray light almost blinding her as it surrounds her.
Once her closed eyes which had closed on their own accord opened she was surprised to to see Dontizu unconscious and the nameless destroyers in wolves form all transformed into humans. They were once the people of Ampoka Kingdom when Queen Dani was ruling. Dontizu planned and kidnapped them then turning them into those these creatures with the help of Tasha father.
The cage which they were, dissolved and they were free. Princess Shaba came out of the body Dona.
And the most surprising thing was when the Princess shouted she could see again.
They had hurried up towards the kingdom, Shaba carrying the unconscious Dontizu while the freed nameless destroyers were up close behind them.
Dain used a spell to unfreeze everyone that was freezed. Finally she turned to face Tasha.
Tasha: Do you really believe this is over?
Dani: As long as you breathe it isn’t over, so I am going to inflict on you what you did to me but this time around no body will free you. (Turning to face her grand daughter, Shaba) Make sure she (Pointing at Dontizu on her shoulder) is kept secured till I am back. (So saying, she walked up to Tasha, placing her hands on her shoulder. They both disappeared.
Epilogue:
Dani: It’s good to have you back. (She turned and smiled at the lady in front of her).
Dontizu: (Smiling) Yes it is. I am sorry Dani for what I did to you.
Dani: It’s okay sis, remember It was the handwork of Tasha and her father to drift us apart in the first place.
When Dani appeared back and Tashania wasn’t with her, she had wanted to cast a spell of forever sleeping on Dontizu, when she felt something probing at Dontizu back. She pushed the cloth to one side and saw a black tiny stone fasten on her middle back. She grab hold of it and removed it with inhuman strength. Dontizu gave out a loud hideous shout and she passes out.
Princess Shaba: The stone makes one forget everything about his or her life, this stone makes Dontizu hunger for the magical stone, thus making her having wrinkles on her, the more she desires for it, the more it pour out its venom in,side her.
When Dani had held it, it showed the face of her dead lover and his daughter Tasha. They had all planned it well.
Dontizu: I know, I just keep thinking of the things I did to you, your daughter, and the whole of Ampoka kingdom.
Dani: Everyone make mistakes you know, but what matters is that we learn from it and move on with our lives.
Dontizu: I hope so Dani, I hope so.
