Honey? What does that mean? It can’t be what he’s thinking, right? He must be mistaken!
“Soph–Sophia… I’m so happy that you are alive! I thought I would never see you again!!” He hugged her tightly. “This is the best day of my life, I am so excited!”
Sophia looked at West who was all confused at what was going on as he looked from Justin to her.
She quickly pushed Justin away. “Don’t touch me! I don’t know you, so get lost!!” She held West immediately. It wasn’t easy for her to do that, it felt as though she’s pushing her heart away, but she has to let him go for good.
She wished they would understand and leave before West recalls who he is and captures them, he had told her what he intends to do to anyone that relates to Smith. Her heart thudded.
“What? Sophy, this is me, Justin. What happened to you? I have been looking all over for you. We were robbed as we were searching for you and we had to come work so we could feed because I didn’t want to give up on you. Look at your… friend, Alex!” He pointed out.
“I’m sorry, gentlemen. My wife says she doesn’t know you two. Oh wait, are you by chance Mr and Mrs. Smith’s son, Justin? Wow, I clearly get it now. But I am very sorry my wife and I have to go now.” West said pretentiously.
“What do you mean your wife? She isn’t married yet! See, I know she must’ve been hurt or… did she lose her memory and you decided to use it against…”
“The last time I checked, you were the one who lost your memory. I’m officially married to the love of my life,” she showed off her ring. “So don’t get in my way again. Honey, let’s get out of here”
Justin was too shocked to say a word out. He went dumb immediately. Alex, who had been quiet, grabbed Sophia’s hand when she turned to leave with whoever the man was.
“You are not serious, right? Sophia, you and I know that the only person you love is Justin. You two might have been through a lot in the past, but I still see that your heart beats fast for him. Don’t joke around with something so serious as marriage, okay? We are here because of you and…” Alex’s voice trailed off when Sophia knocked his hands off her.
West saw this as an opportunity. Wouldn’t tonight’s meeting be a good one if their enemy is captured and put to suffer in their midst? How come he didn’t think about this and almost let him go?
“Guards!!!” He shouted and his men surrounded them. “This is going to be fun. Sweetheart, don’t you think so?” He held Sophia close, he felt her shiver.
Alex and Justin were captured and taken to the meeting place. There, Sophia was surprised to see Celina.
She started to understand something too, the soldiers they went to eliminate are all present except one. Now that she thinks of it, he must be the one controlling them to be against the nation. Who exactly is West? Is he for her, or against her?
“Sophia? Alex? Justin? What’s going on?” Celina asked surprised when she saw them. Alex and Justin were tied to an iron pole in the middle of the empty room.
Someone came from behind her and strangled her, she made a muffled noise and ceased to breath. She was dragged out of the room.
Alex and Justin gasped at the sight as Celina was taken away. Their mouths were tied up, so they could only watch.
“What… why did you…” Sophia shrieked, looking at West’s face.
He laughed. “Her services are no longer needed, so she has to go!”
“This is not the way…” Sophia started again, she doesn’t know if he is a friend or foe.
“Let the meeting start!” He dragged her to a seat and sat down too. “Tonight, we have two things to look into. But first, how are the ladies doing?!” He asked, looking at the faces of the soldiers.
“Sir, one of them didn’t make it alive. We only have one under the care of the nurse. She’s barely alive, we can’t tell if she’ll make it.” One of the soldiers said.
“So you guys lost that man? Not to worry, luck is by our side… here with us is his son. Since we have him, we already have him and his ex-wife!” West laughed.
“You mean he is that Justin? There are two of them here, who is who, sir?” Another soldier asked.
“Don’t worry, time will tell. Here beside me is my lovely wedded wife, Sophia Williams!” He roared and laughed out loud.
The soldiers laughed and clapped for him as he stood up and hugged her forcefully.
Everything is getting clearer to her now, but she can’t go back…

Molly stood by the door and peeped at Tyler as he talked with his grandma. The first lady of the Meyer empire is still as young as her own mother, or even younger… The rich never ages.
Early in the morning, her parents had left as usual to their working places. It’s weekend, so it isn’t a school day. She would spend the day with him.
They were playing over breakfast when a car horn interrupted and he went out to hear what she has to say when they found out it was her. She listened attentively to what they were saying so she wouldn’t miss any word.
Mrs. Meyer tried to touch Tyler, but he shrugged her hand off and leaned against her car stubbornly. “Say whatever you want to say here, though I would advise you to stay out of it.”
“Tyl, you know that I love you, right? Your grandfather and parents loves you as well, and that’s the reason why everything we have worked our ass out for is for you.” She said worriedly.
“I don’t need it. I’m very fine here. I will look for a job and help myself…”
“Do you think life is so easy out there? If it was, then that girl’s parents would be rich too. Also, do you think if she was the rich one that she would want you?” She cut him off.
He sighed. “Yes, I am very sure. When I was following Sophia Williams around like a lost puppy, all of you were very happy and when her parents fell, what happened? No condition lasts forever. I love Molly and I am ready to sacrifice that wealth for her!”
“You are really a stubborn child. You must’ve watched a lot of fairy tales where the prince marries the poor girl for you to be blinded by it and not see reality. It’s not like that in real life, status matters, Tyler. I am a fan of love, but I don’t want you to do something you will regret one day.”
“There’s nothing to regret. I know what I want and I must stand by it. Grandma, go home and enjoy your wealth with your husband, daughter and son-in-law. You can’t control me with your wealth the same way you have been controlling my father.”
Tyler walked away and went in,side to meet Molly. “Are you sure about this?” She asked him sadly.
He smiled and k×ssed her passionately. “I’m more than sure. Come here,” he hugged her.
She can’t believe he is going to walk away from wealth to start from the scratch because of her. She pulled away from him, went on tiptoe and k×ssed him. Her heart fluttered, her cheeks was hot, she loves him so much.

Mrs. Smith called for an emergency meeting very early in the morning. When she came out to the training ground to address all the assassins, she made sure no one was left in,side. Not even the trainers, guards, servants or programming team.
She looked at the faces of the people she has worked with, trained, advised, saved, employed, etc and knew that it’s time to separate the sheeps from the goats, and know those that are ready to lay down their last breath for the organization.
With a snap of her fingers, two men were dragged into the scene. Mrs. Charlotte Smith watched Gena’s face whiten as she gasped knowingly. When she looked up, their eyes met.
“Unfortunately, some green snakes in green grass are going to leave us today. I had considered for them to be kîlled, some innocent members has lost their precious lives because of their foolish mistakes, but I will be no different from them if I do that. Someone made me understand that. Sophia set a good example too, she never fumbled no matter what they did to her.”
She signaled the guards and they pushed Stella, Gena and Ivy out to the front of the other members. A murmur erupted from the others, Mrs. Smith shunned them.
“When I said I have ears and eyes in,side and outside this country, it wasn’t a child’s play. This organization haven’t been stable and running smoothly for years with just a few people running around this camp. I would have loved to hurt you, but I understand your plight.
I’m also letting you guys off because Sophia is safe, Celina was alive, but she failed to see that she was being used and now she just paid for her mistake with her life. Words came to us last night and I know this is the right thing to do before we go bring Sophia back to us.”
Another whispering and incoherent noise filled the air as everyone was thrilled to hear the truth. Their boss obviously ignored everything happening as if she has no idea and now she is suddenly taking action against the backstabbers.
Mrs Smith ordered her guards to throw the two girls out. “Take them out of my sight! Their services are no longer needed in this organization!!”
“No! I can’t go like this… I’m very sorry, ma’am, it was the two of them that started this war… whatever they call it. I just… oh no, please!!” Ivy begged.
Gena laughed. “How pathetic! I don’t have regrets at all. Sometimes, I just sit down and wonder why I came here in the first place. I’m too stupid to think that I can cling to Alex for the rest of my life, and I end up being a looser in the end. Why don’t you kill me?!”
She stood up and gave Mrs. Smith a push. The older woman stumbled, someone held her from behind so she wouldn’t fall.
Mrs. Smith gave her a backhand slap that brought stars to her eyes. She fell down and started crying. “Please, kill me. I won’t go anywhere without Alex. I really love him, everything I am doing is for him.”
“You are a coward! Do you think a man will love you if you present yourself to him so cheap? Have you ever thought about what he really wants and if he’s worth the sacrifices? You are just obsessed!!” Mrs Smith lost it.
She ordered the guards to do their jobs again. They were still on it when a man came out from the hallway, w-t and dirty. Everyone was surprised because no one has ever intruded into the organization.
When Mrs Smith recognized the face of Smith’s right hand man, she went pale and the whole camp had news to share.
“Lock them up for now!” She commanded the guards that are forcefully dragging the girls away, looking suspiciously at Flying dragon. “What is this about?” She asked him.
The guards turned towards the hallway and dragged them to the cell. Mrs. Smith went closer to Flying dragon and asked him again why he came in that state. The other assasins left one after the other.
“Mr. Smith is in,side and he needs urgent medical attention. I’m sorry, there’s no other safe place I could take him to,” Flying dragon replied. He pointed towards the house.
She doesn’t look perturbed or react the way he must’ve expected. “By chance, did you guys see Justin?” She asked instead.
“Please, my boss is dying, he really needs…” Flying dragon was still talking when her phone rang.
“I must take this call, excuse me.” She said and brought the phone out of her pocket. “Hello? Who am I speaking with?” She said immediately she picked up and seeing that it’s a private line.
“Oh, hello, Mrs. Charlotte Smith! Hahaha, you are speaking with your worst nightmare!! Your son is with me here. My lovely wife, Sophia is right here too. Did your nosy spy tell you about those two current events?” A male voice said mockingly.
She gasped. “What the hell are you talking about?! What did you do to my son? What happened to Sophia?”
“Sorry I didn’t invite you to our wedding! I’m inviting you now to come dine with us and get a chance to be with your son for the last time because he will wave all of us goodbye soon!!”
“You dare not do anything to my son!”
“Huh? Come on, I’m waiting for you at the base, you might get a chance to save your son. You must come alone if you want to live. Bye bye!”
