There at Joe place, as they were taking thier dinner Clara phone was heard ringing, she went to the room and saw it was a strange number, “hello, she picked. ” hi Francisca, you remember me? Clem said on phone and Clara swallowed, “yea any problem? She asked. ” sorry are you still mad at me? He asked. “All I’m asking is why are you calling? She asked. ” ok can we see tomorrow? Please don’t say no, he pleaded. “Look I don’t love this game, I’m a busy person and I have a lot to do with my time, Clara said. ” but I promise I won’t take your time, just few minutes please, he said. “Fine, I’ll just have to check my schedules for tomorrow. Is that OK? She asked. ” anytime is OK, just call me, he said. “Alright bye, Clara said and ended the call. She left the room to the dinning meeting the rest there, ” it’s Clement, he’s asking to see me tomorrow, she said as she started eating not looking at anyone. “Sure you’ll meet him, Jay said as Clara mind was far away.

Nora men already knew where Natasha stays. Natasha tired from work had something to eat and slept off. The sound of her phone woke her up and she saw it was her sister who flashed her, ” when will you ever call me? She angrily said and dropped the phone then she remembered Clara and checked the wall clock to see it was few minutes past seven. She then called Clara, “hey aren’t you coming again? Or do you love going out late So you won’t spend enough time with me, Natasha said immediately she picked the call. ” I was about calling to ask if you’re at home, I’m on my way then, Clara replied smiling and ended the call. “Ok Natasha is already waiting for Me, Clara said to Joe and he picked his gun, ” what’s that for? She asked him surprised and Joe scoffed, “now is not a time for jokes, I’ll keep on saying this, everyone should be on alert! Joe said and left the house while Clara followed behind armless. Joe drove her down to Natasha place and decided to park the car few miles away from her compound, ” why? Is not here, Clara said to him as he killed the engine but Joe ignored her and came out from the car. Clara shook her head and came out too and they strolled to her compound, “seems her compound is not a large one and it’s being occupied by people who goes out early in the morning and returns back late, Joe said to Clara. ” yes I noticed that too, she replied as they entered her compound and saw a car parked outside. They knocked on her door but heard no reply, “my friend open this door now, Clara playfully said and Joe touched the handle and saw it was not locked, he pushed the door open and immediately the light was turned off, ” what was that, Clara said but she heard a hit and saw someone fell beside her, before she could realise what happened the light was turned on and right before them was Natasha with strange men holding rifles, “welcome to our world, you’re doe good in darkness that you dodged such blow from my man, one of the men said to them. ” what has she done? Joe asked. “Nothing, we are only here to ask her some few questions but she’s giving us hærd time, he replied him. ” let her go, Joe said and the men burst out laughing looking at themselves, “I’ll advice you to leave and pretend like you didn’t see anything, the guy replied and Joe smiled ” by now you should know I’m not a coward, Joe said and surprisingly pulled a silent gun from the back of his trousers bringing down the guy who held Natasha. Before the two other guys could pull their trigger Joe brought one down and Natasha hit the other on his head using her flower vase and Joe held him as he staggered to stand up, “who sent you? He shouted on him, “I’m not telling you anything, he said. ” it’s Nora, they were asking me about the whereabouts of Clara, Natasha came in. “Go tell her in hell, Joe said and shot him. ” I’m so sorry you’re involved in this, Clara said to Natasha. “It’s nothing, she replied and Joe kept looking at her, ” why? Natasha asked him. “You really surprised me, you hitting that guy the way you did is something amazing, Joe said and she smiled, ” thank you for coming in time, to be sincere I was so scared, she said as she watched the bodies on her sitting room. “What are we going to do with the bodies? Clara asked and Joe was confused, ” we can’t take this three bodies out now because of the security on the road, what if we throw them on the street and drive away? He asked. “That means no one must see us dropping them because it gonna be a different case, Natasha said. ” sure we’ll be careful and you know you’re not gonna stay here anymore, Joe said to Natasha. “Let’s take care of this first, Natasha said and went out to see how the outside is, ” is this your car? She asked them as she entered. “Yessss good one! We’ll park them in,side and I’ll drive the car to a place and leave it there then join you guys in our car, what about that? Joe asked. ” cool, alright let’s do it, they said and helped Joe carry the corpse into the car they brought with them. While Clara and Natasha stayed back in mopping the blood stains on the tiles and Joe left to bring the car closer so Natasha can pick her things into it. Joe then called Chris and asked him to bring the other car so they can help Natasha with her remaining belongings since it couldn’t contain in clara car. When Chris came with the car he was told what happened and he esc-rted joe to dropped the corpse together with the car in a place where Their car won’t be checked by police men on the road. They came back to see the ladies were already through and they left. .

Joe narrated what issued there to them and Andrea was already scared, “ermmm this is my suggestion, I think we should forget about Chris payback and Clara should carefully tell him everything. Remember what Clem did to Nora when we told him something about her, Clara please take everything bit by bit and let him know that Nora knows you’re alive and she already sent someone to shut you and Natasha up. I know Clem will get to his feet and we also should be prepared for anything because we won’t be hiding anymore, Jay said as everyone watched him silent. ” hellooooo, somebody should say something Na, its only a suggestion, Jay said after there was so much silence in the house. “Your suggestion is good anyway and it will be more good if Clem is a wise type and if he will be able to play it well along side with us, Chris said. ” make he no bring police matter come oo because everything go scatter, Joy came in. “Clara you’ve heard it all, I know by now you should know what you’re going to say when you meet him tomorrow, Joe said to Clara who was quiet all this while and she slowly nodded. ” let’s have our rest then, you know tomorrow is a big day for us, Joe said and they all got up one after the other to thier various rooms.

Natasha who couldn’t stop laughing because of what Tessy and Joy was telling her about Clara ran out from the room and met joe standing by the curtain looking outside, “it’s late you know, she said slowly approaching him and he turned, “I know those madams won’t let you sleep peacefully, if you’re tired you can sleep here, he said covering the curtains.” They are fun to be with, do you also have a fight with Nora? She asked and he smiled and sat down too on the sofa, “yes, he replied. ” but what did she do? She asked. “You know you’re going to work tomorrow, you should be sleeping by now, Joe said. ” forget about me, I want to know why, she insisted. “Ok she killed my innocent fiancee, she could have killed me instead not her, he replied ” oh I’m so sorry for that, Natasha said “go to bed, Joe said standing up. “Sweet dreams and dream of bedbugs, Natasha said and Joe stopped and looked at her smiling at him, he shook his head and went to his room, ” those words, It’s been long someone told me that, Joe thought as he remembered his girl.

The next morning Natasha prepared for work, as she was about leaving Joe stopped her, “don’t you think you need a guard, he asked. ” ermmm won’t it be suspicious I mean I don’t know, Natasha said scratching her head. “Marcus please go with her, Joe said and he nodded and got prepared quickly. Clara took her phone and called Clem after Natasha left for work, “hello Francisca good morning, he said on phone, ” morning, she replied him. “I’m happy to see your call, How was your night? He asked. ” we’ll be seeing by 10:am, is that OK? Clara asked ignoring his question, “sure, at where please? He asked. ” I’ll text it to you, she said and ended the call looking at her friends, “it’s not necessary you two can get back together if you don’t want, as long as he will deliver Nora to us that will be cool, Chris said to her and she nodded texting the address to him.

Natasha went in first and took her seat before Marcus came in, spoke with Natasha pretending his there to see Clement then he sat down where Natasha pointed to him. She saw only a guard of Nora who was looking at her suspiciously, she smiled to herself and winked at Marcus who noticed the guy too but played cool. Soon Clem arrived and told Natasha to meet him immediately in his office which she followed him, ” good morning sir, she greeted again as she entered his office, “yea I answered you already Na, I’ll be meeting that lady I told you of yesterday by 10:am, do I have appointment by that time? He asked and she nodded. “You’re gonna cover it up for me and fix another time for that OK, Clem said and Natasha was just looking at him, ” what’s the problem? He asked. “Do you really believe that is Clara? She asked. ” yes, I know Clara I can’t forget her never! even if she has changed a lot, I’ll make it up to her, for all that I’ve put her through, he replied and she nodded and left his office. Soon a client booked to meet him that early arrived and she directed him to Clem office, “ma this is a surprise, Natasha is here sound, the guards silently called Nora. ” have you heard from the other guys? She asked and immediately the news popped up on the television showing the dead bodies dumped in the car, “can you see that? Nora shouted on the guy as the guy also saw it on the television there at the reception, ” I’ll call you back, he said and ended the call and looked at Natasha who wasn’t looking at it but concentrating on her work. Nora was mad as she saw the news and how the bodies were taken out from the car, she took her phone and dialled Francis number, “what exactly are you doing? She shouted on him angrily. ” what do you mean? He asked. “Can’t you see the news? Those are my men I sent to Natasha place so she can tell me the whereabouts of Clara but they were killed and dumped on the road, they have taken all my men! Nora shouted in frustration and Francis smiled and ended the call which Nora felt like killing herself. Francis switched on the television and saw the bodies for a few seconds before another information was displayed, ” you can see for yourself this set of people is tough and wise but we will outsmart them, we’ll be giving them a surprise visit this morning so be prepared, Francis said to the new gangs he summoned and they all nodded and left his presence until he calls.

Clem rushed the discussion with his client and even left the office with him, as he reached the reception he waved at Natasha as a sign that he has gone, already Clara left the house with Joe to where she arranged with Clem. She sat down there nervous looking at Joe who sat down alone somewhere helping himself out with dubic beer. Soon she saw Clem rushed in and he sited her immediately “I’m so sorry I’m late, he apologised as he took his seat facing her. ” a bit late, she replied and sipped her drink. “I’m so sorry, he said and the waiter came to him, ” exotic juice please, he said to her and faced Clara, “thanks for accepting to meet with me, I’m so grateful, he said to her and Clara just heaved a sigh not knowing what to say. The waiter returned with his order as they just sat there looking at themselves saying nothing, ” thanks, he said to the waiter, ” I know you love exotic juice, that has always been your favourite Clara, Clem said. “Excuse me, she said.” Sorry, he said and brought out thier wedding picture showing it to her, “that is the woman of my dreams and the only lady I ever loved. Though I was asked to Marry someone else because of the friendsh¡p our family shared, to make my family happy I decided to play along but you see the heart already know where it belongs. Then I saw her, it was love at first sight. There were so many challenges but we soar through and we happily got married but we didn’t know what was coming ahead of us. First our daughter got kidnapped and I got myself into a big mess by sleeping with the lady I was to get married to, and that was where my wh0le world collapsed. I wish I can turn back the hands of time but since I can’t I pray everyday to make things right, I want to show her how much I truly loved her. I want to fight for her now more than ever even when I couldn’t fight for her then when she needed me most, I want to tell her how sorry I am for hurting her then and let her know she still remains my number one, Clem said and looked up to see Clara already in tears, ” that is so touching you know, she said cleaning her tears. “Clara, Clem whispered. ” what makes you think I’m Clara? She asked. “Because you’re encrypted in my heart, he replied. “What a bloody lie Clement, after what you did to me because I was poor right? She asked. ” I never saw you poor Clara, I loved you just the way you are, Clem said. “What did our love do? Nothing, Clement nothing but pains and brought the same to my innocent daughter, Clara said in tears and Clem stood up and held her on his knees, ” please I’m sorry, he pleaded in tears. “That’s not necessary now because someone wants my life, soon I may be gone and you’ll continue with your life so please forget about me, she said and Clem looked shocked. ” what exactly do you mean? He asked. “So you don’t know who was behind everything huh? She asked back and Clem stood up, ” if I should know such person, won’t that person be dead by now? Clem asked. “Well the person is Happy right in your house all this years, she took my daughter from me and used another man pregnancy and sent me to jail, that was not enough she paid some police men there to give her men free entrance to kill me there but I was lucky the prisoners I was with already planned for their escape that night and I was taken with them, Clem did you look for me or our daughter? She asked with tears streaming down her cheeks, “Clara did I swear I did, he replied. ” liar! Clara shouted on him, “please believe me I did, when I heard you were no longer in the prison I tried searching for you but I couldn’t find you, yes I know I left the country but I was under the influence of Nora, Jesus I was such a fool! Clem said rubbing his head as Clara sniffed. ” what about our daughter? She asked.” I’m so sorry Clara, I had no idea it was Nora herself though some guys told me some weeks past but I don’t know I don’t know, he said covering his head, “you better know now because Nora has her eyes on Natasha because she knows where I stay, she almost killed her yesterday night. My life is in danger ok, Clara said and he looked up surprised, ” Natasha knows about this? He asked and she nodded, “she was attacked yesterday all because of me, Clem do something please I still need to look for my daughter, Clara said with a pleading eyes, ” can I call the police…… His phone began to ring interrupting him, ” excuse me please, he said to Clara, “hello James, he picked the call, ” sir there is a problem, some men came into the company shooting anyone that crossed thier path including the securities, he said as Clem heard panicking in the background, “what for? He shouted. ” they came for Natasha but a saviour stood by her but he is seriously shot though he killed some men who attacked but Natasha is being taken, James said on phone. “Jesus I’m on my way, he said and ended the call looking at Clara, ” what happened? She asked “gun men attacked the company Taking Natasha with them, Clem said and Natasha stood up on his feet making Joe who sat watching them knew something is wrong, ” that’s Nora handwork! She shouted. Joe heard that and dialled Marcus number immediately to know what’s wrong, “Natasha is taken and I’m seriously shot, Marcus whispered weakly as he finally picked after many rings. ” hold on ok, you’ll be fine, Joe said to him and he saw Clem and Clara leaving. He knew already Clara will be entering Clem car so he decided to let them be while he will follow behind, has he drove behind them he kept dialling his friends number at home but no reply, “this is unusual, he thought while Clara dialled Natasha number but it was switched off.
