Witches might be creatures of darkness and evil but they’re also an example of why God’s creations are so vast and unique. Never in my life did I thought that a time would come where I would be adopted and raised by these beings.
Ever since I began to live amongst them, I’ve seen things and gone to places where no human being has ever been too or even thought it existed and among one of the this places is the Witches realm.
The Witches realm is dimension where the witches live but they aren’t the only ones who live there. I could still remember the first time I came here, I was 15yrs old at the time. I really didn’t have the luxury to tour the place cause I was ordered by my foster mom not to do so. It’s not like she was restricting my movements or anything, its just that I had stepped into an unknown territory and in a place like this, I’m nothing but food.
Although I didn’t enjoy my visit to the place, I have to admit that I’m really fascinated by the place. Time runs differently in this dimension and if I should stay here for quite a long time, I might not even age at all.

So presently, here I was in the Witches realm together Robin. I was surprised when he told me that his family wanted to see me ; at first I was excited but now I’m just nervous. Despite staying by Robin’s side, my body began to tremble with fear as I saw the sinister eyes staring at me. Most of the supernatural beings we met on the way began to licks their l-ips hungrily as they fixed their gaze on me, the cruel smile on their face made me realize that I was on my food menu. Robin noticed how disturbed I was and began to calm me down.

Robin ➡ Babe, relax. You’re safe with me.
.

Morenike ➡ Can’t you just teleport us to your parent’s house? I have a feeling that I’m about to be eaten.
.

Robin ➡ Great Lucifer!! We’re not that savage.
.

Morenike ➡ Blood of Jesus, quit saying that name.
.

As soon as I said that, all eyes around the area turned on me. I stuck myself closer to Robin in case on of this monsters try to grab me. Seeing that I was causing unwanted attention, Robin held onto my h¡ps and teleported us directly to his parent’s house.

Milliseconds later, Robin and I appeared in front of his parent’s house, it was quite a big and nice place but the dark ugly thorn trees I saw around the place made me twitch with fear. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Lola and some elderly witch showed up behind us.

Lola ➡ Hey Robin, 😏❤

Robin ➡ Lola, sup? E don tay.
.

Before I could realize it, the sly b-tch rushed in and bear-hugged my main squeeze right before my eyes. I felt embarrassed and insulted on the account that she pretend to not to see me as if I wasn’t even there at all. Witch or not, I decided to let her know her boundaries.

Morenike ➡ How revolting! Why can’t you keep your hands to yourself?
.

Lola ➡ Well, well 😒. If it isn’t the christian sl-t human, Morenike. What cursed wind blows you to this place?
.

Morenike ➡ (chuckles) Sl×t ke? See who’s talking o? You’ve failed to get a man and now you want to take mine. Baba rẹ ko le gbiyanju o.

Lola ➡ You b-tch!!
.

Robin ➡ Lola, Morenike, ENOUGH!!!
.

Omnira ➡ Daughter, enough! Mind your manners.
.

Lola ➡ Yes ma.
.

Robin ➡ O dara aṣalẹ ma.. (good evening ma)
.

Omnira ➡ Evening Robin. It’s been a year (10yrs) since I last saw you. You’ve grown into a fine young man. How I wish my daughter would concentrate on men like you instead of some halfbreed b-stard.

Lola ➡ That’s enough MAMA, you’re embarrassing me.
.

Words couldn’t describe how infuriated I was. I may not be as powerful or strong the witches but I deserve at least some respect. They have no right to treat me as if I’m some kind of piece of trash. The way Lola and her mother talked to Robin in my presence was nothing but a sign of insult.

Morenike ➡ Robin, can we go in now?
.

Robin ➡ Oh sure.
.

Omnira ➡ Hold on Robin . So this is human I hear that has been clinging to you like a mosquito. What’s your name girl?
.

Morenike ➡ Morenike and I’m Robin’s girlfriend. Nice to meet your acquaintance.
.

As if I had slapped her cross the face, the old witch glared at me murderously with her vicious eyes. I glared back at her too letting her know that I’m no patsy. I may be human but I won’t be disrespected.
.

Omnira ➡ It seems you’ve found yourself a feisty one, Robin. Although her insolence is quite annoying.
.

Lola ➡ It seems that boyfriend snatcher has rubbed off her attitude on her. Better watch your step b-tch. This is our territory, the weak have no chance here.
.

Sensing the tension rising between us, Robin smartly excuse himself from Lola and her mother and dragged me into his parent’s house.
.

Robin ➡ Women! you’re all the same no matter the species you appear from.
.

Morenike ➡ What was I supposed to do? You saw how they treated me.
.

Robin ➡ Just be careful. Lola’s mother is sleeping tigress. Don’t provoke her. Her magic is a nightmare.
.

Morenike ➡ What kind of magic does she possess?
.

Robin ➡ Curse magic.
.

Morenike ➡ Oh.
.

Robin ➡ Just don’t let them rile you up cause they’re waiting for the slightest opportunity to strike and if that happens, I don’t know if I can protect you.

Morenike ➡ Alright. I hope we won’t take long here.
.

Robin ➡ Relax, just be calm, everything is going to be alright.
.

I really wanted to believe what Robin am had said but the probability of everything going smoothly was 0%. As we passed through the halls of the house, my eyes roamed about observing the place. The house was more like a horror house than a normal one, I also noticed that there were bats hanging on the ceiling not to mention the big rats that zipped past us. Another alarming thing that I saw were white smokes in that shape of humans penetrating the wall as if it wasn’t there. There were other unbelievable things that I saw as we passed through the halls but the biggest surprise was yet to come.
Just as Robin and I were about to enter the leaving room, an elderly witch instantly showed up in front of us. I nearly scre-med the moment I saw her terrifying face. She wasn’t ugly or anything in fact she was quite beautiful but the look on her face was enough to make even the strongest man piss on himself but despite her scary looks she was nothing compared to the dreaded Aunt Rose who’s looks was enough to make one drop dead instantly.

Segilola ➡ Hello son.

Robin ➡ Greetings mom.
.

Segilola ➡ May Lord Lucifer be praised, is this the human Morenike? She looks more stunning up close. You really found a real gem.
.

Robin ➡ Thanks. Babe, this is my mother Segilola.
.

Morenike ➡ It’s nice to finally meet you. (extends handshake)
.

Segilola ➡ Me too.
.

Some appearances are deceiving while some are exact the way they are, I was really hoping that things would be different with Robin’s mother but as I extended a handshake, she instantly pricked my palm with one of her long sharp nails drawing blood from me. I held back my anger and kept a calm face but what happened next made me realize I was really in the lion’s den.
Right before my eyes, Segilola licked my blood that was stuck on her nail. She swooned excitedly as she felt the taste of my blood in her mouth, her cat-like eyes opened widely as a predator that had found it’s prey. I thought she was going to pounce on me but then she calmed herself down and smiled maniacally.

Segilola ➡ Oh my! Who would have thought that you’d have a tasty morsel for a girlfriend? Her blood tastes exquisite, if she were a V-rgin she would have tasted more better.
.

Robin ➡ Mom, that’s enough.
.

Segilola ➡ It’s remarkable that you’ve resisted this long having such a tasty dish.
.

Robin ➡ MOM!!!
.

Morenike ➡ Robin.. I think I’ll be going now.
.

Robin ➡ But we just got here.
.

Segilola ➡ What’s this? Don’t leave just yet. If you feel unease by my words, I was just joking with you. Dinner is about to be served and I would like you to join us.
.

My instincts told me that this devilish b-tch was lying but then I also didn’t want to hurt Robin’s feeling. Since I made it this far, I might as well go through it and pray to God to deliver me safely from this place. Just as I was about to answer Robin’s mother, Lola and her mother appeared right next to us. They both exchanged pleasantries with Segilola before turning their attention on me.

Segilola ➡ Look omnira! This human is our guest and her blood would make a fine wine.
.

Omnira ➡ I’ve met her. She’s quite feisty.
.

Lola ➡ (hisses) Mtchew!
.

Segilola ➡ Why don’t we all go in, Dinner will be served soon.
.

Omnira ➡ I don’t want to stay here long. I came to see him. I hope he’s around.
.

Segilola ➡ Oh, he is. Let’s head to the dinning table. I’m sure he’ll join us shortly.

🎃 OMNISCIENT_POV 🎃

Sitting quietly around the dinning table next to Robin, Morenike prays silently in her mind as she notices the eyes of her boyfriend’s family guests staring at her. Lola who was right across Morenike begins to tap her long nails on the table trying to intimidate her while her mother constantly frown at her.
Before long, Segilola appears to the dinning hall with a company of a company of zombie like corpses carrying the trays of food. Upon seeing the undead around the table, Morenike’s legs begins to shake with fright wishing that she had no come to this house of horrors. Once the tray of food had been kept on the table, the undead corpses began to serve to the food. Hoping that she would see blood and flesh, Morenike sees variety of human food with all the delicacies in it, there was rice and beans which was assorted with fried goat meat, there was eba and stew with cow meat, and there was jollof rice assorted with fried chicken. All the kinds of Nigerian main dish was served on the dinning table and they all smelled deliciously that Morenike’s stomach began to rumble.
Watching her human guest’s reaction, Segilola laughs and then speaks up mocking Morenike’s expectations.

Segilola ➡ You look surprised? Were you hoping to see blood and flesh? We witches too have variety of tastes.
.

Lola ➡ Did you really go through all this trouble to make this for her?
.

Segilola ➡ Why not? After all, she’s my son’s love interest. It’d be rude not to show her good hospitality.
.

Robin ➡ Thank you mom, although I’m surprised too.
.

Segilola ➡ Well, I do have a gentle side that is when I’m in a good mood. Why don’t you all dig in. The lord of the house will soon join us soon.
.

Despite relishing the food before her, Morenike decides to pray just in case the food might be poisoned or drugged. So as the others were busy serving themselves, Morenike begins to pray but her actions didn’t go unnoticed.
Segilola who had noticed that Morenike hadn’t started eating glared at her as she saw her holding a cross while praying and as soon as she heard the word *Jesus* from Morenike’s mouth, she loses her cool.

Segilola ➡ Human!! What are you doing?
.

Morenike ➡ I’m praying. Is that a problem?
.

Segilola ➡ It is. This is not a church!!
.

Morenike ➡ But it’s essential that I pray before I eat. That’s the way it is.
.

Segilola ➡ I DON’T CARE!!!
.

Robin ➡ Mom, let her pray!
.

Segilola ➡ SILENT YOU DOG!! Having a christian ✝ in my house was bad enough but now she wants to stain our ears with her rotten christian faith. I won’t have that.
.

Morenike ➡ Alright fine. I won’t pray out loud. Is that okay with you?
.

Glaring at Morenike with murderous intent, Segilola scratches the table with her claws angrily for some seconds before allowing Morenike to pray silently. Whilst everyone was eating, Segilola continues to stare at Morenike. She never liked the idea of her son loving a human, if it was up to her way she wanted Robin to set his sights on Lola.
Segilola hated anything that had to do with humans and Christians and now that her son’s girlfriend is both human and Christian, Segilola decided to hatch a plan that would ruin this union.

Segilola ➡ So tell me Morenike.. How strong is your love for my son?
.

Morenike ➡ I love him so much that I could sacrifice almost anything for him.
.

Segilola ➡ Almost?
.

Morenike ➡ Yes, I can’t sacrifice my faith for his love. The love of God should be the first thing on everyone’s minds.
.

Segilola ➡ You hear that son? She loves her God more than you. She may as well marry him instead.
.

Morenike ➡ Shut your mouth lest may God’s wrath strike down upon you.
.

Robin ➡ Morenike!
.

Omnira ➡ Insolent little b-tch. I knew that she was trouble.
.

Segilola ➡ You dare say that to me in my own home?
.

Morenike ➡ I’m a christian and I won’t let anyone say foul things about the almighty creator.
.

Segilola ➡ Son! I can tolerate anything for your sake but this Christian b-tch is too much! I’m afraid that this union must end. I can’t allow her to influence her damned faith on you.
.

Robin ➡ I can’t allow that mother. I love her.
.

Segilola ➡ BUT DOES SHE LOVE YOU?
.

Morenike ➡ I do.
.

Segilola ➡ If that’s true then she must prove herself. I’m sure you want to have this weakling as your bride 👰 in the near future but there is something she must do first. She must cast out her faith and then renounce her humanity before I accept her into this family if she doesn’t then I’m afraid you have to let her go. If she truly loves you then this won’t be so hærd for her to do ; after all, Love is sacrifice.

Robin ➡ Morenike understands, of course she would.
.

Morenike ➡ (softly) No..
.

Robin ➡ What?
.

Morenike ➡ I’m sorry Robin.. I can’t.
.

Robin ➡ You can’t what?
.

Morenike ➡ I love you, I truly do but my faith comes first. I’m a christian and I’m proud of that. I don’t see why I should change my faith? Don’t you love me as I am.
.

Robin ➡ It’s not enough.
.

Morenike ➡ What?
.

Segilola ➡ My son’s right. It’s not enough. You’re human and you probably have a short lifespan. Let’s say you get married to him, in the next couple of years you might get old and frail but he won’t and in the next couple of years, you’ll die. Seriously how is that fair?
It’s not like we can’t use reincarnation spell to bring you back but it’s forbidden and even if you are brought back to life, you’d still be old and wrinkly. Cast your humanity and faith aside and live her with us, Time in this world ours slows the life span of humans. Do this and I shall accept you with open arms.

Morenike ➡ Your offer is tempting but I won’t go for it. It doesn’t matter how long one lives cause sooner or later everyone dies. I’m proud to be human and I’m proud of my faith. If you can’t accept me the way I am then I’m afraid there’s nothing for me here. Ebinoluwa’s family took me in when my parents died and despite my humanity they still treated like I was part of them.

Robin ➡ How could you do this to me? After all we’ve been through, why can’t you do this one thing so that we can be together?
.

Morenike ➡ If you can’t have me the way I am then I’m afraid…. it’s over between us.
.

Robin ➡ I’d never thought you’d be this selfish. You hurt me with your decision but that doesn’t mean I would resent you. Since you’ve made your decision, here’s mine. I don’t ever want to see you again cause it would hurt me alot more to think about the moments we’ve shared if we crossed paths again.
.

Saddened by this sudden development, Robin leaves the table and heads up to his room, Morenike who was sad as well quickly wiped the tears welling up in her eyes but that wasn’t over for her.
Seeing that her plan had worked, Segilola decides to torment the young lady by inflicting pain on her but just as she was about to do that, Robin’s father appears instantly preventing his wife from her evil scheme.
Widely known for centuries because of his mystic ability of seeing the future, Robin’s father (Ayinde) isn’t a very social wizard. After turning 800 years old decades ago , the wizard has confined himself in his house so to avoid being disturbed by his other kind for a glimpse of their fate.

Ayinde ➡ Segilola!!

Segilola ➡ My lord! (bows)

Omnira ➡ Greetings great one (bows)
.

Ayinde ➡ Enough!…Take your daughter and go home.
.

Omnira ➡ But..
.

Ayinde ➡ I know why you’re here and tell your daughter that her union with that half breed is null and void. As for you wife, mind the way you treat our guest.

Segilola ➡ Of course my lord.
.

Ayinde ➡ Get up and go into your chamber, I’ll be with you shortly. You, human.

Morenike ➡ Sir?
.

Ayinde ➡ Come with me. There’s something I want to discuss with you alone.
