CHAPTER SIX: THE CONTRACT 1

Entering George’s apartment, he inquired about the new place. I avoided his question, immersing myself in thoughts. Shedding my jacket, I lit a cigarette, contemplating how winning Lacey wouldn’t be as straightforward as I had presumed.

Pulling out the drawer, I light some cigarettes then take off my jacket, acting this sweet and kind is also not part of me, I don’t fool around with women? I go straight and take whatever I want from them and mostly is sex.

” Arthur”

It’s quite easy to know that making lacey fall for me, or let me touch her will be difficult, I just need to think about something that will make me have full control over her, if we were in the ancient days, buying her will be quite easy.

“Arthur,” George called, attempting to break my reverie.

Navigating the complexities of making Lacey succumb to me proved challenging. My usual direct approach with women, focusing on immediate desires, wouldn’t work this time.

George’s hand rested on my shoulder, pulling me from my thoughts. “Are you okay?” he inquired.

“Did you find anything about Lacey’s father?” I questioned, changing the subject.

“Yes,” George responded, placing a file on the couch. “He’s involved in drugs, and I have evidence of his criminal activities. He’s also connected to his son’s death.”

“Releasing this information could severely impact his company,” I mused. ” Am sure you have done just that ”

“Yes,” George affirmed. “Investors are pulling out, and the police are reopening investigations.”

“Good,” I said, acknowledging his efforts. “Have you scheduled the meeting with him?”

“Yes, tomorrow morning,” George confirmed. “Mr. William will meet you for coffee.”

“Why am I doing this?” he queried.

“I realized I can’t win her over with conventional dates,” I admitted, taking a drag from my cigarette. “I’ll do things my way.”

“What’s your plan?” George asked.

“Nothing much,” I replied, folding my arms. “Did I tell you to buy a building?”

“You did,” he chuckled. “This building, so I won’t have to pay rent anymore.”

“Now I’m your landlord,” I teased.

“And my best friend,” he added.

“Just go to the grocery store and get some yogurt,” I instructed. “I’ll cook something up.”

“You’ll cook?” George raised an eyebrow. “Something’s bothering you. You only cook when you’re stuck.”

“Stop speaking nonsense and go,” I retorted, watching him leave.

Entering the kitchen, I turned on the stove, prepared the pot, and began boiling spaghetti. My thoughts drifted to Lacey’s inexplicable attachment to Edwin. What had transpired between them? Do Edwin really despise her? It seemed surreal.

Am sure the look I saw in his eyes were that of disgust so why? Pulling out the cigarette from my mouth, I drop it on the kitchen counter and exhale, all these is frustrating…all I want is to get in that pants so why is she giving me such a hard time.

But same time, I won’t want to do it just once, I will want to own her, fuck her whenever I want and however I please….the sound of my phone ringing alert me, pulling it out of my trouser, I stare at the name, why is William calling me?

” Hello ”

” You did this? Why….I already agreed for the wedding”

” That’s certain”

” Why this? You are planning on destroying me?”

” On the contrary” I take off the cover of the pot and turn it a little, move to the refrigerator and grab the chicken from the freezer ” I want your daughter to become my property”

” What!”

” This will be better over a cup of coffee ” after that, I cut the call and frown at the knock on the door, opening it I stare at William ” you want that coffee now?”

” Yes ”

Letting him in, I had to turn off the gas cooker and hand him his coffee” what do you want with my daughter ”

” I want to own her”

” You mean like a slave?”

” Indeed ”

” I can’t let you do that to my own child ”

” Your child life or yours?”

” Definitely my life ” he growl and somehow I feel disgusted at how he doesn’t care about his daughter ” what do you plan on doing ”

” Quite easy ” I move a piece of documents ” I want you to make her sign this, don’t give her the chance of reading it….that way I will have her in my hands and everything I have and have done to you, I will fix it ”

He pick up the file and stare at it, after reading it, he gasp ” any confusion?” I ask and he shake his head ” good, you can go now ” watching him leave, I shut the door then smile, I couldn’t help grinning, it feels like I suddenly have the upper power

Just for six months, I will own her for just that long….am sure after then I will have my full of her and move to the next, ever since those wet dreams started, I just knew I had to have her.

Looking down I gasp at my now huge cock, just the thought of owning her excites me this much. Fuck.

“Lacey?” Edwin gasped, scrutinizing me. “Why are you here?”

“Arthur told me you were injured,” I replied.

“I’m sure that has nothing to do with you.” He furrowed his brows, leaving me puzzled.

“What do you mean?” I frowned. “I came here to see you and find out why you’ve been avoiding me.”

“Lacey.”

“You can’t just make me feel this way and then vanish from my life!” Growing frustrated, I noticed his face lacked any emotion.

“I told you, Lacey, I only…” He hesitated, “I only want someone untouched.”

“It wasn’t my fault!!!” I yelled, clenching my hands. “It’s not like it really happened. It can still be my first time.”

“I don’t care,” he mumbled, looking disgusted. “I don’t want to love someone who has been through that. It’s disgusting.” His words pierced my heart. “Please leave. I’ve been through enough pain.”

“Why?” Tears welled in my eyes. “I love you.”

Edwin got up, hands on the bedside table. “Did you think I didn’t love you? Do you have any idea how many times I asked you to let me touch you?”

“But?”

“But what? You let Gavin touch you and then call it rape? If you’ve always loved Gavin, why date me?”

“What are you saying?”

“Get out, Lacey. Leave before I call the nurse.” The hatred in his eyes made me retreat. I walked out of his room and the hospital, called a taxi.

All I could think of was the look in his eyes, the way he stare at me, how much he hated me, I always knew Edwin fantasy, he always say that he was glad I was untouched. He loved the idea of him being my first.

What happened wasn’t my fault, it wasn’t in my control, I didn’t want that to happen…..no body wished to be raped, at least not on their first time. Tears swell in my eyes but I refuse to let it fall.

Arriving home, I found my father in the living room. “Lacey,” he said, throwing a file on the table, “sign it. It’s you being out of my will.” I looked at him, feeling only half of myself present.

“What do you mean?” I asked. “You’re kicking me out?”

“Yes.” I stare at him, the seriousness in those eyes, I always knew this day will come, who am I kidding, my father never loved me, he only care about himself and since he knows I won’t dance to his to es, am sure this is a way of threatening me…. expecting me to beg.

What a father, today has been too painful to listen to more from him, Tears finally fell from my eyes. After wiping them away, I signed the papers, dropping them on the table and heading upstairs to my room. Blinking, I saw the servants packing my belongings outside.

I know he is kicking me out but this is late, he can’t do this now, where will I sleep?

“What’s happening?” I asked, but no one replied. Running downstairs, I searched for my father, but he was nowhere to be found. I rushed outside to see him handing over the file to Arthur.

“What is this?” I walked closer, watching my father walk back to the building, avoiding my gaze.

I looked around. All my clothes were outside, and there stood Sir Arthur, dressed in his customary black suit. This time, his blue eyes seemed dark and scary.

“I never knew you would actually sign this,” he grinned. “Lacey.” Stepping closer, my entire body trembled with fear. “You’re mine now.”

What did I just do to myself? Tears drop from my eyes at the sight of all these, my world is keep crumbling and falling, it’s unbelievable.

CHAPTER SEVEN: THE CONTRACT 2

Walking around, I couldn’t help but hum my favorite song; the BTS concert would be held tomorrow, and there was absolutely no way anybody could make me miss such a thing.

Looking around, I proceeded to select fresh veggies; I was sure Father would be excited to eat something different today. The sound of my phone buzzing made me stop, drag it out of my pocket, and pick up the call. “Have you seen the news lately?”

“Oh no,” I mumbled. “Did something new happen?”

My father sighed. “How come it’s this late, and you’re still out?”

“I told you, I plan on getting some new items for dinner.”

“The news is about Lacey’s father again; I’m sure he is up to no good.”

“What do you mean?”

“You can always find out, but first of all, try to reach out to your friend; she might need you today.” He hung up, and I immediately tried calling Lacey. No matter how many times I tried, she wouldn’t pick up. She wasn’t the type to ignore my calls.

Is something really wrong? Is she okay?

Not convinced, I dropped what I picked up earlier before running out of the grocery store. My heart was racing, and the thought of her selfish father doing something to her couldn’t vanish from my mind. Why wasn’t I getting to the parking lot faster?

“Help, someone help me!” Hearing that voice, I stopped, my feet coming to a halt before hiding behind one of the cars. I stared at the scene in front, put my phone in camera mode, and began to video. A man on the ground, seriously injured, while someone wearing a black shirt and black shorts stood before him. I couldn’t see the face.

“What do you think?” He mumbled, his voice surprisingly calm. “You did say something about killing me, why don’t you do that?” He bent down, grabbed the injured man’s hair, and lifted him up. “Or should I?”

“Forgive me,” he cried. “I didn’t mean to.”

“Damn bastard.” He let go of the injured man and watched him run away. “These days people need to learn their place.” I stared at his hair, dyed green, deciding I had seen enough. I slowly turned around to leave, but his voice stopped me. “Don’t move.”

My heartbeat increased with the sound of footsteps approaching. “Did you happen to video that?” He asked, but I just stared at my phone in my hand. I hadn’t even paused it. “Hand it over.” Inhaling, I quickly turned around with the phone to capture his face, but then I stood still.

Blinking my eyes thrice, I couldn’t believe it. How could someone be this good looking? “What are you doing?” he growled in anger, bringing me back to my senses. Good-looking men are always murderers.

“Stay back!” I yelled. “Or I might—”

He stopped walking with furrowed brows. “You might what?” Having no idea what to do next, I looked behind him and acted shocked.

“Oh my God!” I gasped, and just one time he looked behind, and then I hit the road, running with all the might in my body towards my car, his footsteps also seemed to be approaching.

“Stop right there!”

“Sorry, but I’m not dying, not yet!” I yelled back, got into my car, shut the door, and he approached, hitting the glass, probably with the intention to break it. I quickly started the engine and drove off. I survived; I can’t believe I survived that.

Laughing, I nodded to myself. “I should be proud.” It took hours to arrive at Lacey’s house. I packed the car and rushed in. “Lacey!!!” Yelling her name, I moved to her room, empty, not a single person.

“Lacey!!!!!!”

“Stop yelling,” hearing her father’s voice, I moved towards his bedroom. “She isn’t here.”

I furrowed my brows. “What did you do to her!!!!” I almost lost my mind. “What did you do to her”

“Leave my house, Monica,” he looked at me with anger. “Enough things have happened today; don’t add to it.”

“You have to tell me where she is.”

“I don’t know.”

“Sir Williams?”

“Take her away,” before I could say more, two huge men held me, dragging me out of the mansion.

“I will report this to the police; you will never find peace if you don’t return her to me!” I yelled, my anger resurfacing. “You bastard of a father!!!” They threw me out, my butt hitting the floor hard. I have always hated that man; everything about him is evil.

Tear drops from my eye. “Lacey, where are you?”

“Where are you?” Hearing George’s voice, I looked at a sleeping Lacey, still laying down on the bed. “You said you would cook.”

“Something came up.”

“Aren’t you coming back?”

“I will be staying in the mansion.”

“What do you mean?” One could tell that he is confused. “I told you, I already bought this whole building.”

“Keep it; it’s yours.”

“You hated that mansion,” he replied.

“I hated it because I was alone.” Sitting down on the chair, I looked at Lacey. “I am no longer alone.”

“What happened, who are you with?”

“Nothing you should worry about.” After that, I cut the call, not wishing to hear more of his complaints. My gaze moved back to Lacey; after reading the file, she really lost consciousness. I wonder if she will be able to accept everything.

I do not want to hurt her.

“Please don’t,” hearing her voice, I stood up and moved closer, sitting at the edge of the bed. A tear dropped from her eyes. “Stay away, let go!!!” She shook her head, and I watched her. “Let me go…I beg of you, please.”

“Lacey.” Shaking her for the third time, she jolted up, looking scared and worried. “Lacey.” I watched how she tried to catch her breath. “You’re safe.” Moving closer, I tried to touch her face, but she flinched, that pale and scared face back.

Dropping my hand, I clenched it. That bastard Gavin, the death was too simple for you. “Why am I here?” She looked at me. “With you.” Her eyes looked around, fear creeping into her face. “In your room.” She moved backward until her body touched the wall, far from me.

Even from here, I could see how scared she is. “I won’t touch you,” I promised. “Not without your permission, so please calm down.” I tried to demonstrate how to breathe since it seemed like she had forgotten. “Just like that.”

She nodded, did exactly what I said, which made me smile. “Good.”

“Why are you doing this to me?” She looked at me confused. “Using my father to make me sign such a thing? Am nobody’s property.” I watched her grumble. “Haven’t I been damaged enough? Can’t I at least live a decent life?”

“Lacey.”

“I can’t give you what you want; I won’t consent for sex.” She gasped. “Except you plan to rape me; it won’t be new…just another horrible experience.”

“I am not a rapist.”

“Then let me go!!!”

“If I do that, will you agree to keep seeing me?”

She furrowed her brows. “No!”

“Will you let me touch you?” The look she gave me explained everything; this is the only way I can get what I desire, this way she will warm up to me. “I plan to go slow, Lacey, don’t worry…six months is a long time.” She parted her lips to say something, but I beat her to it.

“Go to sleep.” Standing up, I pointed to the milk on the drawer. “Drink that; it will make sleep quite easy for you.”

“Arthur!!!”

“We will talk tomorrow, Lacey.” I looked at her. “Good night.” Walking out of the room, I ran my hands through my hair and looked at the dark and empty hallway…am I doing the right thing? Is there any other way to get over this? Even when she looked so scared, how her shirt were buttoned slightly down I could get a glimpse of her cleavage, just the slight sight of her will make my blood boil in anticipation.

The way she bit her lower lip from fear makes me excited, the fear that I might someday touch her without her consent scares me; is this becoming too much?

Lust usually doesn’t work in such a way, or does it? Covering my mouth, I gasped; I am sure even her shadow might be able to turn me on…my eyes lowered to my cock; this is not normal. I have never felt like this before.
