He commanded and I got more scared,

I knew that leaving there as the guy said can never be an option, how can leave a school because of my fellow student, that’s not happening, I just stood there like a statue and waited for his reaction,

So you think am joking right? “The guy yelled and walked closer to where I stood?
He grabbed me by the collar, his grip was so tight that I found it difficult to breathe, I was even starting to suffocate,

Oh God please help me, “I prayed in my heart.

What’s going on here?” I heard a male voice from behind and wished he was a saver sent by God,

Paul why are you holding him like that, do you want to kill somebody in this school?”, “the man asked as he got closer to where we stood, the guy freed his hand from my collar and I coughed breathlessly.

Hey, who are you and what are you doing here?,” the man that approached us asked and maintained a mean expression, I became extremely surprised, this was the same man, I’m sure I saw this face on the day I was awarded the scholarsh¡p, he even shook hand with me, asked my name and even said that he would be glad to have me as one of his students,
So how come, he’s now asking who I am,

I said who are or have you suddenly gone dumb? “The man asked again and this time putting more vigor in his voice.

My name is prosper maxwell,” I answered and wanted to tell him more but he cut me off,

Oooh, prosper the “brain box,” welcome to the bright future academy he said and I smiled shyly,

Please pardon me for not recognizing you, I’m usually not good with that.

No problem Sir, “I replied and felt so relieved, my system to functioned normally.

Paul, he faced the guy that almost ruined my first day in school, Paul is not even a matching name for someone like him, he should have been named something else like Goliath,

Yessir,” he answered politely like he was an angel,

Mind how you treat people in this school, don’t forget you were once a junior, am I being understood?

Yessir, ”

Show him to the Jss3 class,” the principal said and left
,(That was when I noticed the students were already dismissed from the assembly ground)

Ok sir, “Paul replied and watched till the principal was out of view,

He looked at me with a frowned face, you bush meat, you got lucky today but tomorrow is another day, “he said and walked away,

I meant to follow him but he stopped and gazed back,
and where the hell are you following me to?” He asked smirkingly(✖)

Please show me to the jss3 class,” I pleaded, ignoring the fact that the principal told him to,

You must be mad you bush meat, if you move an inch to follow me as I leave right now, you will regret it till the rest of your life, “he threatened and walked away,

I stood there and wondered what to do, there were two long buildings there, and there was no way I could tell which one is Jss3 cuz I’d never been to the place before,

Well thanks to God a boy that I guessed might be in Jss1 came out, maybe he could be possibly going to ease himself or something else, I called him and asked him where Jss3 class was and he showed me,
I thanked him and left.

As I got in,side the class, the students were busy discussing and laughing, only a few people noticed my presence,

When one black boy with a big head saw me, he started laughing, pointing at me and calling the attention of others,

See the suitcase boy, he said and the whole class up roared with laughter,

Do you have some bush meat in that your suitcase, “another eyed black boy said and the rate of the laughter increased,

Only if I had a shell like a tortoise, I would have just shrunk in,side.
I wished the ground could just open and swallow me 😞

Only if I had a shell like a tortoise, I would have just shrunk in,side.
I wished the ground could just open and swallow me,

The black boy with a big head stood up and walked up to me,

Mr rusty suitcase, you can use the seat at the extreme,” he walked back to his own Seat and another round of laughter was activated but I cared less about it.

I slowly walked to the place he showed me, after settling on the seat, I kept my suitcase by the side and it made a distractive noise that triggered another hell of laughter but I didn’t care a bit,

The type of Seat in bright future academy was a double (2in1) desk, which means that two persons were to use one desk and the seats were also built together,

I discovered that males & females were even allowed to sit together, even the black boy with a big head was sitting with a girl

I thought that I was the last person to enter the class that day till all the laughter quenched automatically and everywhere became dumb and ghosty,

I reasoned that a teacher or a senior student was entering but it was obviously not,

just a student,

but
I beheld something more than
just a student,

I beheld glory,

power,

beauty,

elegance,
uniqueness, all combined to produce an alluring creator,

She was walking like a queen, even though she wasn’t smiling but beauty was visible on her face,

Where is the author of
“The beautiful ones are not yet born?

Please come quickly and see for yourself,
the beautiful one is finally on Earth,

No wonder the whole class froze,
imagine a beauty that was admired by both genders,
ever since I was born, I have never come across someone that was 1% similar to her,

I wasn’t used to noticing girls but that one was different, even the blinds can testify of her,

I was still lost in thoughts when a resounding slap landed on my cheek and some of the students laughed inwardly,

That was when I came back to reality, what? I can’t believe she was the one that slapped me, now I know that every one of them in this class is just the same.

I held my cheek and looked her in the eyes and they were shining like crystals, I didn’t know what I did that triggered the slap or why she just stood and kept looking at me with a mean expression.

Am sorry, “I said but still not aware of what I committed that triggered the hot slap.

She stared at me for quite some time and then finally removed her classy bag from her back and sat in the same place I was sitting,

That was when I realized what I did, I sat on her chair, but that blacky(×) big head is the cause, why would he show me a seat that belongs to this angelic being,

I’m sorry,” I said again but she just ignored me and rested her face on the desk.

What kind of person is this, “I wondered as I observed her with one eye, the whole class became cold immediately after she walked in,

No one laughed again, some were stealing a glare at me or possibly her, and some were even murmuring incoherently,

A beautiful young lady that was very young walked in, I thought she just came to see a relative cuz I never expected a teacher to be that young,

Good morning students, “she echoed happily as she stood in the front middle of the class was,

Good morning teacher, “the students chorused,

She wrote something on the whiteboard and faced the class again
That was when I realized she was an agricultural science teacher,

Before we move on to what we have today,
Who can remind me of the topic we discussed last week?” she asked and scanned the whole class, I hid my face immediately cuz I wasn’t even in school last week,

Yes, precious tell us,” she said and pointed at a girl,
The girl stood up and said,” the topic we had last week was Farming systems,

Wow, that’s nice of you, give her applause,” the teacher said and the whole students clapped,

Now who can explain what we meant by farming systems,

Teacher someone is raising his hand here, the black boy said and pointed at me,
That was when I realized that the boy was bent on disgracing me, first, he alerted everyone when I entered the class, second, he told me to sit on a seat that was the reason for the resounding slap, now he just pointed at me that I raised my hand when I was hiding my face so as to not be noticed.

Wow, that’s good of you, stand up and tell us, “the teacher let out and

My heart raced a million times, what am I going to do now?

I stood up and heard inward chuckles around the class,
