CHAPTER EIGHT: THE DATE 1
Elia arrive home in a hurry and for only two reasons, one is for date and the other is what she still couldn’t find out, the question keep bugging her, why is she so anxious about this date, feeling enthusiasm, joy, excitement, confusion, all for one guy.
Lucian.
Is it that I like him?
We talked only once.
Maybe those red eyes of his has a charm, charm of drawing women close to him ” mother ” mumbling I drop my bag in the living room then move to the kitchen k-ssing her cheek ” am home ”
” how was work today ” she smile still chopping the onions.
” it was awesome, just like always ” I can’t tell her I got spanked ” you didn’t go to work today ??” Asking I watch her shake her head.

” mother ” muttering I move close to her ” you did the right thing, you don’t have to lose your dignity for this, I will ask for my salary tomorrow, the man I work for is a good man, he will help, stop worrying ” my mother has always been young, she practically married when she was fifteen, gave birth sixteen so right now she is just thirty four, still young and beautiful.
” I don’t want you doing things that will put you in trouble Elia, you’re still a child” she shake her head ” I will find a job tomorrow and….” Shaking my head I look at her.
” no mother, from now on I want you to rest, gain some weight and start looking young again” cleaning her tears I bend down ” you’re my mother and my best friend, I will do anything to make you okay, you have lost a lot of weight and I hate that…if father is to see us now he will be angry ”
Mother chuckle ” is true, he always liked his women with flesh on their body ” mother never talk about dad before, she hates it because it makes her cry ” I better get to cooking then”
” oh mother, I have a date so I need to get ready “she nod and I stand to my feet moving out of the kitchen but she said something to stop me on my tracks.
” thank you Elia, I couldn’t ask for a better child ” smiling I move to the living room and k-ss jack head before running upstairs to my room, walking into the shower I take my bath slow but when my eyes glance on the time that its almost eight I had to rush things.
Coming out of the bathroom I rob some lotion on my body, put on my underwear then pick up a red short dress, handless and has a v shape at my chest, putting my cle-vages out.
Brushing my hair, I apply my hair spray, did a natural makeup then put on some lip gloss.
Staring at my reflection on the mirror I bite my lower lip, it looks like am sed-cing someone, this dress is a little too tempting ” Elia, your date is here!!” Hearing mother voice I shake my head, no time to change anymore.
” coming ”
Grabbing my purse I walk downstairs to the living room, when Lucian gaze land on me I watch him stand to his feet, he is putting on a red suit that complement those eyes, the jacket of his suit on his shoulder, his hair combed nicely.
Approaching him I smile ” how do I look ” he shake his head then smile.
” amazing, I mean you look beautiful ” laughing I watch him bring forth his hand ” shall we go ” nodding I k-ss my mother and jack before leaving with him, I stare at the limousine he brought.
” you have a limo?”
” yes, since today is special, I decided to bring it ” he wink before opening the door for me ” my lady?” Laughing I step in and so did he ” which restaurant will you prefer” he stare at me and I had to tuck a hair behind my ear to hide my nervousness, he is really close.
” am not really good at selecting restaurants” mumbling he nod.
” I figured so we will be going to the casa restaurant ”
” isn’t is too expensive ” I mumble ” I mean its the biggest restaurant in new York, we shouldn’t ”
” my love” he smile ” is okay, I own the restaurant so it isn’t a big deal ”
” you own it”
” yes I do ”
Lucian walk behind her as they step into the VIP section of the restaurant, food already placed on the table, slow music, the windows open and the door shut, leaving the both of us alone ” its beautiful ” she mumble staring through the window ” you can see the wh0le city from up here ”
” it is beautiful ” my gaze didn’t move from her face and when she notice I was referring to her she blush which made her more beautiful ” hungry? ”
” starving ”
Helping her sit down I pull out a chair and sit opposite her which guarantee me a good view of that lovely face ” aren’t you hungry, you are not eating ” she asked while eating her fried rice and chicken.
” am not really hungry ” placing my elbow on the table I rest I head on my palm ” I will like to know what work you do, your job ”
” my job ” she lift her head and stare at me ” am a maid, I work in em…a huge mansion, the Bertillon residents ”
” I see, I have heard how strict that man is, hoping he isn’t laying a finger on you ”
” no,he is a good man actually ”

” yes ”
Watching her eat I notice that she is really hungry but they is something sed-ctive with the way she drinks that wine, it goes down her throat then she bring her tongue out to lick her l-ips ” can I k-ss you ” the words came out before I realize it.
She look shocked, face flushed down to her neck ” what??” She asked looking confused, I watch her lick those l-ips of hers again.
” can I k-ss you?” Repeating my words I sit properly ” I can’t think of anything else since I saw you stepping down from the stairs this evening ” standing up I move towards her direction and lean close, our face one inch apart ” can I?” She said nothing, just kept staring at me so I took that as a yes but when I close the final space between us, she swiftly turn her head and my l-ips land on her cheek.
Maybe I was taking things too far and too soon.

CHAPTER NINE: THE DATE 2 ( I HATE YOU)
Elia remain still as Lucian withdraw back with confusion in his eyes, l-ips part to say something but I beat him to it ” am sorry, is not like I don’t like you but I barely know you, I only know your name and where you work ” mumbling I watch him move back to his seat and run his hands through that brown wavy hair of his and then it hit me, we both have same colour of hair which means nothing.
” I understand Elia, I was taking things too fast for you, this is our first date, I shouldn’t be thinking that ” he smile ” go on ask me whatever you wish to know ”
” are you sure?”
” yea why not, they is nothing I wish to hide ”
” who is aqua ” mumbling I relax back on the chair ” I remember you calling me that name which means, she is someone close to you and I look like her?” He nod and I purred ” tell me about her ”
” she is beautiful, the most beautiful in our village back then, men flocks around her, asking her hand for marriage, throwing gifts and different other things to get her attention ” Lucian look so sad as he narrate the story of this woman ” we were suppose to get married but someone murdered her ”
” am sorry ” moving my hands over to his I hold his hand ” did you find the killer??”
” no Elia, I don’t even know his name ” Lucian exhale ” that is in the past now Elia, though I can’t denied the fact that you look exactly like her but your characters aren’t same ”
” alright “the atmosphere around him already turn dark and sad, changing the topic I mumble ” tell me about your family, mum, dad, siblings ”
” am an orphan ” he mumble ” I was an only child, my parents died when I was a baby, killed by lycans ”
” lycans??”
” yes” he nod ” it was a long time ago, I can’t remember the details tho ” I had nothing to say because lycans means werewolves and werewolves are human that can transform to wolfs at night, they don’t exist so how did that happen? Maybe he heard wrong ” tell me about your father, I didn’t see him today when I arrive at your house ”
” he is in heaven ” shoving a piece of meat in my mouth I exhale ” he had a car accident when I was young, don’t really remember him but my mother does, she feels heartbroken anytime we talk about him ”
” I know how she feels” Lucian mumble and I know he is talking about aqua, the suppose wife to be ” okay, this room has turn to small sad heaven, let’s head out…I have something else to show you ”
” now?”
” yes now ” he hold my hand and we move out of the restaurant into the limousine ” I want to take you somewhere else, a place you will love ”
” what is it ”
” ice cream shop ”
” how did you know I love ice creams!” I practically yell the ice cream when we arrive, the shop look huge, getting in we sit down and wait for them to serve us.
” all girls love it so I guess you would ”
” oh I love it ” when the waiter arrive with it I dig in almost immediately ” I just hope I don’t get fat from it one day ” the moment I finish talking Lucian chuckle, holding his stomach laughing ” what’s funny?”
” the ice cream…” He talk while laughing ” is like a mustache on your upper lip, moving my hands there I couldn’t help but to laugh with him.

” how was your first date ” Lucian mumble when he walk to the door ” hope you liked it ”
” I loved it ” smiling I move into his arms and hug him ” thanks, it was fun” k-ssing his cheek I wave him before moving into the house and shutting the door, the lights off which means everyone is asleep.
Moving to my room I stare at the time and its three AM, I know fully well if I sleep now I will be late for work so I didn’t sleep, I stayed awake, change clothes and when its time, i walk to mansion.
My eyes must be really red.
After the assembly I move to the pets, feed them, water the flowers ” you’re quite” rose ask and I nod ” did the master hurt you really bad yesterday, I mean your eyes are red ”
” oh no, he didn’t do anything to me ” smiling I mumble ” I just couldn’t get some rest last night, I went out on a date ”
” a date?”
” yep ” smiling I keep watering the plant ” and trust me, it was awesome, amazing and dreamy ” telling her some interesting part and where he took me, we chuckle and within no time am moving upstairs with materials to clean the masters bedroom.
Today is the last day of the week, which means i won’t be cleaning the maters bedroom next week but today I have to ask some money from him just like I promise mother.
Opening his door, I step in and shut it ” you have no manners of knocking Elia ” hearing his voice I move my gaze to his direction, putting on a black long sleeves, black trouser with a cigarette in his hand.
” forgive me master, I thought you will be in your army today ” when I remember what happened between us yesterday my face turn flush, he spanked me and it did hurt so why am I blushing?
” your eyes are red” he furrow his brows ” did you cry?”
” oh no” dropping the equipment down I look at him ” I couldn’t sleep last night ”
” and why was that?” He stand to his feet and move towards my direction, why is he so tall?? I had to lift my gaze up for me to look at his face, he said he hate lies but what do I tell him, the truth? So what if I went on a date, is not like we are dating? ” I asked you a question Elia ”
” I went on a date” the moment the words left my mouth I step back and cover my arse with my hands, moving backwards.
” what are you doing?” He title his head to his right, studying me.
” I don’t want more spanking ”
” why did you think I will spank you Elia ” he inch his right brows high ” so you do know you did wrong by going on a date with someone else ” stepping closer I could feel my body touch the wall but he only took two steps then stop ” come ” when the words left his mouth I open my eyes shocked, he is really going to spank me ” Elia!”

Why can’t I lie to him, I just don’t know why I feel this way, am sure if Lucian is to touch me this way I will slap him or push him away but with Alexander it feels like I am meant to be close to him, with him, to stay with him.
To be committed to him even if I don’t want to.
” No” I finally answer, he didn’t smile and those eyes didn’t move from me as he lean close and whisper to my ears ” good girl Elia, you have been a good girl” withdrawing he mumble ” but going to this date still annoys me, what part of you belonging to me, don’t you get?”
” am sorry ” the words came out before I realize it, why am I apologizing? Oh yes, I need to calm him down before I ask for the money.
” apology accepted ” he shrug then withdraw” do your job Elia, we are done for today ” I watch him move towards his table, sit down, t-rn on his laptop then put on his ear pod.
He lacks rom-nce.
He is annoying.
He is too proud.
He needs scolding.
I hate him.
And with all these things in my head I had no idea when I mumble ” I hate you ” loud and clear, no body needs to tell me what will happen next, the question that should be asked.
Is your arse ready for round two?
” what did you say?” He furrow his brows and turn his full attention to me, right now he look dangerous but that didn’t bother me today.
” I hate you, I don’t like your attitude, I don’t like your proud self, your need for accuracy and submission, I don’t like you and this relationsh¡p you are building in your head is never working ” yelling he didn’t move from his seat, just kept staring at me ” and you know what, if not that I need this job, I will slap you at the face and quit ”
” are you done?” He yawn before putting his cigarette back into his mouth but his gaze didn’t move from mine.
” no am not done ” moving close to him I pull out the cigarette, drop it on the floor and step on it ” I need you to give me my salary early, I need it and am not just taking it, am borrowing it…will pay you later”
A smile form in the corner of his l-ips ” are you done?”
Confuse with his character I frown ” yes, am done ” and with that he turn around, back to the laptop and that’s when I realize he was on a conference call.
All the board members mouth open wide ” did she just yell at the boss”
” the boss did nothing but smile at her ”
” the boss has a woman?”
They keep mumbling but all my focus was on Alexander, he didn’t rise his hand or shout at me, just smile and get back to work ” Elia, go back to work, we will talk later ” his tone like always, you won’t know if he is happy or sad.
This man confuses me.
