💦Olivia’s POV💦

We got to the cafeteria and he told me to order anything I want… but stupid me, I was so shy.
He chuckled and turned to waiter.
“Chinese meal, eggs mayonnaise and fried chicken.” he said and I kept staring at his l-ips as he talked.
He turned to me, “Would you like Milkshake or fruit juice?” he asked.
I swallowed..
“Uhmm.. fruit juice.” I mumbled.
“Fruit juice, pineapple. A bottle water and a Coca-Cola drink.” he said and I still kept staring at his l-ips.
Soon the waiter in chef gloves carefully dropped a tray of a rich smelling chinese meal. The chicken is so big. Ahh when did I eat such?
Then fruit juice, bottle water, coca-cola drink, chopsticks and a knife stood and layed beside the plate.
Uhmm.. I hate chopsticks.
I looked at Noel, then at the waiter.“Please fork.” I mumbled at the waiter and he nodded with a smile, took the chopsticks and replaced them with a fork..
Noel took out his wallet and payed.. The amount was huge.
What’s so special about the meal?
Noel took the drink, and I carried the tray as we went for a seat.
We sat close to the window.
“All the meals here are really costly.” I said.
“Just eat up, you are hungry.” He said.
I shut my mouth and began eating.
He began going through his phone and once he isn’t looking at me, I ate hurriedly because the meal was too delicious and also because I was so hungry. but if he glance at me, I pretend to be eating slowly.
I kept doing this till he stopped glancing and fixed his eyes on me.
Ahhhh… if I keep eating this slow, the meal would get cold. Mr handsome just look away please. Ahh.. How do I even eat this big chicken comfortably in his front.
Ahh I wish I could take it home where I won’t care how I eat it. Ahhh!
He narrowed his eyes and then chuckled. He likes chuckling.
“Eat the way you want Olivia. You are more than slow.” he said and I giggled shlyly. That type of giggle one does when she is shy.
He smiled and then faced his phone again.
He haven’t even finished up his drink. If it’s me. That can will be empty empty in five seconds.
I began eating quickly again

💦Noel’s POV💦

I chuckled within.
She think I can’t see her eating so hurriedly… Then when I glance at her she pretend.
All my life I’ve never seen someone as funny as this girl.
Ahh… Could poor people be this funny?
This is the first poor person i’ve ever been close to. I’ve not associated with any before except her.
Do all of them behave this way?
I find it really amuzing but also interesting.
But she’s cute. Yeah. Really cute and lively.
And my dad, I wonder why he’s calling.
Few days ago that I called him, he didn’t pick up my call.. I called him the next day only for him to pick up and then click on me.
I wonder why he was calling now.
“Thank you.” I heard Olivia’s voice mumble.
I looked up and she was done with everything including the juice.
I smiled.
“You want more?” I asked and she raised her brows and then shook her head negatively.
“Alright. So we stay here a little then leave.” I said and she scratched her hair.
“I haven’t tidied up slg.” she said.
Oh that’s right.
“Alright. We should go so you can do that.” I said and she nodded.
I stood up and she did too.
“Your drink.” She said.
“I don’t wanna drink anymore.” I said and she hesitated before nodding and we headed out.

I waited for her to get the wastebasket and when she came back, we headed together to slg.
I watched her pick every litter..
She did it with so much zeal and smiles.
I really wondered what’s the reason behind her smiles but I couldn’t guess right.
After she was done, with smiles she came back to me and wiping sweats off her forehead..she breathed out.
“I miss my friend today.” she said.
“Your friend? who?” I asked. I wondered if I really have to know.
“Prissy, my colleague. She didn’t come to work today and I’m really worried. I had to do her own work and mine too so Mrs Summer doesn’t get really mad at her.” she said and I watched her.
“Ohh I’m sure she’ll come tomorrow.” I said and she nodded.
“Let’s go.” I said and she nodded again.
“My bags is still in my locker. Wanna go with me to get it?” I asked.
“Yeah.” she said with a wide smile that I found really cute.
After she disposed the litters and kept back the wastebasket, we headed to the hallway.
It was quiet and the sound of our step kinda echoed.
“This is really a beautiful school.” Olivia said.
“Yeah. Was built with lots of money.. and still kept good each day with so much money.” i said.
“With the millions of dollars the students pay.” She said and I smiled.
“It’s worth it, I guess.” I said.
We got to my locker and I unlocked it and took my backpack, and locked it back and we turned and headed back outside.
“Can I tell you something?” She said.
“Yeah, if you want to.” I said.
“I love your headset.” she said and that made me smile.
“Thanks Olivia.” I said.

“My bag” she said when we got outside.
“Go get it then. You wanna ride with me?” I asked.
She shook her head. I know.
“Alright.” I said but I swear, I was kinda upset. I really don’t know why.
“Maybe I could go with you today, I can’t really trek.” she said and I didn’t know why a smile crossed my face.
She ran off to get her bag..
What if I just have this girl as a friend? Maybe I’ll have to smile each day.
She’s really fun to be with. So clumsy and pretty.
She came running back with her bag.
I Wonder why she doesn’t change her work dress.
She care less of this things.. People like this, do they exist?
“I’m back.” she said with a grin.
We headed to the parking lot and she kept smiling.
“Olivia you have been smiling. Why?” I said.
She smiled more.
“Nothing.” she said.
I sighed…
We got into the car and I drove off.
“Are you okay?” I asked when I realised she was still smiling.
She gasped and closed her mouth with her hands and nodded.
I chuckled.
She stayed that way for minutes.
“Get your hands off your mouth. Wanna ask you something.” I said and she did.
“Do you have a sister?”
She shook her head.“Just me, my kid brother, my mom, my dad.” she said.
“Okay..” I said.
“Can I tell you something?” I said.
“uh?” she raised her eyebrows.
“Can we be friends?” I said and she gasped and went silent, staring at me.
Then a wide smile came accross her face and she nodded.
“Yes I will be your friend my pr” she clutch her hands on her mouth.
“Complete it.” I said, peering into her eyes but she faced down.
I breathed out.
“So you will be my friend?” I asked.
She nodded.
I smiled..
Now I just made a clumsy cleaner a friend and it feels cool.
“So, what if we start by going to see a movie tomorrow. I’ll get two tickets.” I said.
She smiled.
“I will think about it.” she said.
Think about it? Did I ask her out?
“You have to tell me now cos I’m buying the tickets online tonight.” I said.
“I don’t know if I could go.” She said and I sighed.
“Fine,” I said and soon I stopped at the s₱0t she told me to.
“Goodnight” she said.
“Goodnight Olivia.” I said and she walked down and closed the door back.
She stood and waved at me as I drove away.

💦Olivia’s POV💦

Once Noel drove away.. I jumped up that I felt I was reaching the sky.
Noel and I are now friends.. So quick, so soon.
Olivia, your dream are coming trueeeee!

“Mom..” I called immediately I came in.
She dragged me into our bedroom.
“Olivia.. What did he say?” she whispered.
“He asked me to be his friend.” I said and she gasped.
“Amazingggg” she hugged me.
“Maybe he’s gonna help you into macHills. What if you open up to him?” Gboy said.
“He might hate me.” I said.
“It’s okay. We will think out something.” Mom said.

Through out that night, I held my pillow tight, thinking about my new friendsh¡p with my prince charming till I fell asleep…..
