” Where’s her mother?” the doctor asked. ” she’s outside, why’s your face like this hope she’s fine?” Chad asked.
” Am sorry, I can’t say anything until I see one of her family members” the doctor said. ” F*cking tell me what you wanna tell her family members, I paid for the operation” Chad said.
” Mr Chad you need to calm down, you aren’t one of her family members” the doctor said.
” is like you wanna die” Chad said and brought out his phone. ” Am listening what happen to her? ” Chad asked.
” there’s nothing much sir, we discovered she’s pregnant, but we aren’t sure sir” the doctor said with fear written on his face. Chad hissed out loud and dropped his gun.
” have you did the operation?” Chad asked the doctor. “No sir” the doctor replied and Chad open his mouth in shocked. “what are you guys doing in the operation room since you left this place?” Chad asked.
“We are sorry, we are trying to check her well before starting the operation, and now that she’s carrying a baby the operation will be 50 50 because it’s very risky” the doctor said.
“what did you mean by fifty fifty?” Chad asked. “Mr Chad you need to take it, am not also happy because I really like that lady” the doctor said.
“like her as how, don’t tell me you’re planning to ask her out” Chad said. “no she’s too small for me, am more over I am happily married” the doctor replied.
“you guys should go on with the operation” Chad said. ” no we need to inform her mum first” the doctor replied.
” Did you wanna kill her mother, don’t you know she can give up, if she heard her daughter chance of survival is fifty fifty” Chad said. ” but we have to inform her” the doctor said.
” go in,side and treat her, I will make sure I lock this office and also kill you if anything happen to her” Chad said. ” Alright sir” the doctor replied and went back in,side the operation room.
Chad walked out of the reception. he saw madam Cassie crying. “Did I really hurt her with my words?” Chad asked hiself.
” should I go and console her? no I don’t even know how to console people” Chad said.
madam Cassie stood up from the floor and clean her eyes with her palm. ” ERM…..” Chad wanted to talk madam Cassie hissed and walked pass him.
“is she angry, I thought she don’t get angry easily, anyway that’s none of my business” Chad said and went back to the reception.
madam Cassie pac to and from in the reception. she walked closer to one of the nurses and asked.
“how’s my daughter, and where’s the doctor, the doctor told me they will be done in two hours time and they have spent four hours in the operation room, what’s going on?” madam Cassie asked.
“madam you need to calm down, the doctors are still working on your daughter” the nurse replied.
“working on my daughter for the past four hours, you people should talk to me!” madam Cassie yelled.
” madam calm down you daughter will be okay” the nurse said and madam Cassie walked closer to Chad.
” hey Mr heartless can you see what you did to my daughter, my daughter have been in the operation room for the past four hours, aswear with my mother grave, it anything happen to my daughter I will kill you and kill myself, I don’t care who you’re” madam Cassie said and Chad scoffed.
” madam relax yourself, hypertension is real” Chad said.
” it your mother that will have hypertension, since you don’t have respect for elderly people” Chad said. “I don’t care if she have hypertension or not” Chad said.
“oh I see, so you don’t even have respect for your mother” madam Cassie said. “she doesn’t deserve my respect” Chad said.
“oh I see, am sure you lacked mother love, because you won’t be this heartless if you have mother love, or should I say home training” madam Cassie said.
” madam Cassie phone ring out loud and she picked it up at the first ring. “Hello madam” the caller said. “Pamela, how are you doing?” madam Cassie asked.
“Am doing good ma’am, Mr Chris is here waiting for you” the caller said. “tell him am not interested in the offer, you guys should close the club, make sure you don’t open it till I come back” madam Cassie said.
” Madam, you can’t do that to us, how did you expect us to survive, you can’t do this to us” the caller said.
“You guys should find something reasonable to do with your lifes, and you all can go with my charges” madam Cassie said.
” this is bad” the caller said. ” Pamela, I need to do this I just realized am not helping you guys at all, so I need to release you all, you guys should pray for my daughter, because I really pray she survive the operation” madam Cassie said.
” she will survive, because you have always been a mother to us” the caller said and end the call.

” peace, I really need you to help me talk to your friend, I really love her and I can’t avoid to loose her” Ben said. “Sorry to dissapoint you, you have already loss her” peace said.
” who’s the b*stard that take her away from me” Ben asked. ” you better don’t kill yourself, just accept you have lose” peace said.
” no I can’t just lose her like that, you can help me win back I love, I promise to appreciate you In a way you will never forget” Ben said.
” get out of my way” peace said and pushed him away. ” Where are you going to?” Ben asked. ” Am going to where you sent me” peace replied.
” I will go with you” Ben said. ” do I look like code to you?” peace asked. ” I knew you aren’t code, I just wanna go with you, because am sure you’re going to her place” Ben said.
” I thought you said you’re just coming from her place?” peace asked. ” yeah, she’s not at home and am sure you knew where she’s” Ben said.
” you must be crazy” peace said and walked away. ” wait up…” Ben said and ran after her.

” f*ck, I have been calling her number for the past two days and isn’t recheable, hope she’s fine?” Jeff asked.

” yeah, she has been in the hospital for the past two days” Pamela replied.
” no wonder, what happen to her, and can you kindly give me the hospital address?” Jeff asked.
” oh, you’re very lucky because am on my way to the hospital” Pamela replied. ” wow, that’s nice” Jeff said.
” Are you the owner of that car?” Pamela asked pointing to Jeff car. ” yeah, let go” Jeff replied. ” oh, my transport fare is safe” Pamela said.

Madam Cassie sat on the floor and face palm herself. Chad look at her and felt pity for her, he move closer to her and raised her head up with his hand.
” what are you doing here?” madam Cassie asked cleaning her tears. ” Am here to console you” Chad said.
” thank you I don’t need you, just pray to God that my baby survive the operation” madam Cassie said.
” Madam, am sure you’re just trying to be strong, I just want you to know she will be fine, we are in this together” Chad said and madam Cassie raised her head up to look at Chad.
she smiled at h and Chad clean her tears with his palm and also smiled at him. rose and Vivian walked in,side the hospital and they were surprised to see Chad, cleaning madam Cassie tears.
rose clear her throat and Chad remove his hand from her face. “what are you doing here?” Chad asked.
“I brought food for you and your friend mum” rose said and Chad look at madam Cassie. “madam, you need to eat” Chad said.
“Am not hungry” madam Cassie said. “you must be hungry!” Chad yelled and madam Cassie shift back in fright. “,Am sorry” Chad said. “oh, did you just say sorry to an outsider” rose said.
“She’s not an outsider, I like her” Chad said and madam Cassie look into his face and smile.
“And why did you come here with her!” Chad asked point to Vivian. “she said she wanna come with me” rose said. “she should stop following you, like an obedient goat” Chad said.
” Ahh that’s too harsh” madam Cassie said. ” I don’t just like her” Chad muttered and went to sit down.
” madam come and sit here” Chad said and madam Cassie move closer to him. the doctor came out with a smile on his face and madam Cassie stood up immediately.
” Doctor, how’s the operation hope my daughter is fine” madam Cassie asked, trying to go to the room the doctor came out from.
“madam, relax she’s fine but you can’t go to the ward we will move her to another ward ten minutes time” the doctor said. “Are you sure, my daughter is fine?” madam Cassie asked.
“yes she’s, she’s a very strong lady” the doctor said and madam Cassie jumped up happily. “can you eat now?” Chad asked. “No I need to see my daughter first, I don’t trust the doctor” madam Cassie replied.
“oh, you need to trust me, code is like a daughter to me” the doctor said. “I Know and I really appreciate your effort, you’re a good doctor thanks for saving my daughter” madam Cassie said.
“you’re welcome madam, I just did it because I like her” the doctor said. “you can just go straight to the point, tell us you love her” Chad said and the doctor smile.
“I thought we have talked about this before, I don’t love her am only doing this for God” the doctor said. ” thank you very much doctor Steve, don’t mind him” madam Cassie said.
” she need Alot of rest and food to regain her lost strength” the doctor said. “Thank you doctor” madam Cassie replied. ” And one more thing, there’s a good news your daughter is few days pregnant” the doctor said.
” what..” pregnant, what have I done to myself” madam Cassie said and placed her hand on my head. “Doctor, you mean code is pregnant” Jeff said said entering the hospital.
“who’s he?” Chad asked madam Cassie. “Am the father of code unborn baby” Jeff replied.
