Monalisa’s POV

Grrrrrrgh the sound of an alarm woke me up from my sleep but I was wondering how the alarm was ringing cause I couldn’t remember me setting it…I so much hate alarms even though it’s useful sometimes🙄
The sound become more audible and I opened my eyes only to find my annoying elder brother Maxwell bringing it closer to my ear. I gro-ned and yell at him… Why the hell did you do that bro you know how much I hate alarms he only smiled and told me mom is expecting me downstairs to join in the packing.😳
Ooh I forgot Mom told me the previous day we’ll be relocating to California in two days time which is tomorrow jeez! I so much hate relocating😞. I’ve got no choice tho…

In case you don’t know I’m Monalisa Thompson the second and the last child of my parent cause we are just two. I’m Beautiful,intelligent, calm,smart in fact I’m just me. I’m in my last year in high school🏫
My older brother Maxwell who is outta high school and is in his first year in college.We love each other so much my brother is so overprotective he doesn’t tolerate any trash from any dumb guy that makes advances towards me🙄 I love him like that tho he can be so annoying sometimes trust me I’m also always in for any prank of his anytime.

Enough of the introduction.

I lazily stood up and went to freshen up in order to go meet my mom downstairs trust me you don’t wanna get into mom’s trouble.🤗 Even though my parents are filthy rich they brought us up in the best way they don’t pamper us like other rich parents does…

Good morning mom I greeted her as I went to the kitchen and met her preparing break fast of pasta and chicken broth🍽🍝🍝trust me you wouldn’t wanna miss the taste of my mom’s food cos she’s the best cook ever and that’s what she’s training me to become too… In no time we were done cooking and ready to eat with my dad and brother👨‍👨‍👧‍👧

Few minutes later

We were off to the grocery store mom told me earlier we’ll be going to get some groceries.
We got there and A beautiful old woman attended to us we payed and left the store.
On getting home Max was almost through packing his stuffs and told me to join him to go pack our parents stuffs as well .
Though I was tired buh I decided to help him out since we don’t have much time left and I’ll soon join mom in the kitchen to prepare dinner.
We were done packing and we both headed downstairs only to meet….😑

🔰Monalisa’s POV🔰
We both headed downstairs only to meet my worst nightmare uncle Raymond dad’s younger brother grinning and laughing with my dad. I wonder what he’s here for this time around I so much hate his presence in our house cause there’s this strange aura I feel whenever he’s around which I don’t feel in any other family member🙄and I’ve always wondered if he’s intentions are clear to my family. In fact I’ve talked to mom about it times without number buh she keeps telling me not to bother.more so he’s dad only living kid brother. Max knows I so much hate him and he looked at me in He’s here again manner..I told him it’s okay and we proceeded to meet them..
Good afternoon uncle Raymond we greeted and he smiled and said afternoon Darling. Who is your Darling I muttered silently so no one heard me…Dad told me to go get him a glass cup of juice 🍹which I did almost immediately. I left them and headed to meet mom in the kitchen.

🌫The Next day🌫
We all packed our baggages and headed to the airport of course it’s my nightmare that drove us. He used the opportunity to bid us goodbye and promise to come visit is once we settle-..Gosh who cares🙄

*Raymond POV*
I watched as their plane took off and smirked cause this is just the beginning I wonder why my elder brother has it all he’s loved by people and he’s among the richest people in the country…
I’ve tried as much as possible to get his daughter…All I want is their downfall and this time around I won’t hesitate to start my well planned act which I’d make sure it doesn’t fail. I laughed hysterically and said My Dear brother be prepared for war. I’m so glad he’s so dumb he trust me so much cause I’m his brother and pamper me with everything buh to me it isn’t enough..I must have all what is yours even if it means me taking your lives🤗

We arrived at the airport and got picked up by a relative that stays here.we got of our destination and finally settled down.

How time flies it’s almost a week now we got here and I’m glad the street is peaceful as our former one.

Mona’s POV
💫Saturday💫
We went to get things at a supermarket we were about paying for the things we purchased The daughter of the supermart owner came in sulking,her mom asked her what the matter was. i was so eager to know buh mom wouldn’t wait so we left.
We got home and dad got a call which he went to receive outside after some minutes he came back smiling and we were curious to know what is the reason why he’s smiling strangely and he said we should guess.
