💋 Chapter Twenty💋

Mr Brooks smirked and walked to the bed.
“Well, I have something better doing than looking at your daughter in law” he said and laid on the bed, trying to sleep.

Mrs Brooks shook her head, watching the car as it drove off again.
.
Sunny was at the club. She was on the table dancing, holding a bottle of drink in her hand. She enjoyed the way the men there were touching every part of her body and she didn’t care.

“Come on everybody! Woah!!!” She s¢ræmed.

Hazel walked into the club and saw her friend on the table.
“Oh Sunny” she murmured and walked towards Sunny.

“Hey Sunny!! Sunny!” She yelled because the music was too loud. She pulled her leg. She almost fell so she looked down.

“Hey Hazel baby” she said and jumped down from the table. She hugged her tightly and k×ssed her cheek.

“That’s enough” she said. They walked to a couch and sat down comfortably.

“Congratulations sweetheart. Finally, you’ll be getting married to a billionaire”

“Isn’t it amazing? I’m so f*cking excited” she squealed happily.
“But wait, I have a problem. His sister knows that I’m a p*rnstar. What do I do?” She asked.

Sunny smirked.
“That shouldn’t be a problem. After you’ve signed the paper, you are gonna be with him. There’s no f*cking way he’s gonna divorce you. And even if he’s gonna do that, it’s gonna take about a year” she said.

“Sunny.. you are the best! You just gave me a brilliant idea. I love you, i love you” she said.

“So, now that you are here. Why don’t we satisfy some customers together?” Sunny said, biting her lower l-ips.

“I miss the old ways” Hazel said and they giggled.

The next morning, everyone was ready to leave for the studio.
“Do you have the bag ready?” Cora asked. Thelma nodded.

“Take them to the van. We’ll be going to the airport from the studio” she said.

“Sure” Thelma said and left with the luggages.
Cora turned and stared at Asher.

“I guess we’ll see again” he said.

“Well, I hope not” she said, smirking.

“Bye” he said slowly, s×¢king his lower l-ips.

“I know you want to hug me, just do it” she said.

He scoffed.
“Why on earth would I want to do that? Just leave already” he said.

“Okay” she said and turned. As she took a step forward, she felt someone grabbing her hand, pulling her hærd.

Asher pulled her and wrapped his arms around her. A weird smile crept on her face.

“What are you doing?” She asked.

“Just keep quiet” he said.

When it was time to shoot the last scene, a curtain was blocking the set.

“What’s behind the curtain?” Asher heard someone asking him. He turned and stared at the person behind him.

“What are you doing here Xander?” He asked.

“Came to see Cora” he said, smiling.

“It’s better you leave” Asher said.

“Why should I? You aren’t the boss of me” he said.

“I know, but I’m the boss of this place. So, leave” he said.

His gaze diverted to the curtain as it opened. They both shot their eyes wide open as they stared at Cora lying in a tub filled with water and flowers.

“Okay, Cora you know what to do” the director said. Cora nodded. She lowered her gaze into the water, playing with the water. She poured it on her naked shoulder, doing it slowly.

They both closed their mouth and swallowed hærd.
“Wow”

“She’s so good”
They murmured.

After the shoot, the curtain closed and Cora walked out with a towel tied on her chest.

“It’s a wrap!” The director yelled.
Everyone cheered happily.

Cora walked straight to her room and changed her clothes.

She walked out after some minutes.
Thelma was with her.

“Hey, we have to get going. Out flight is in two hours” she said.

“I could drop you off if you want” Xander said.

“Oh, yeah, that’s very helpful. Thelma take the luggage from the van to Xander’s car” she said.

“No, I will take you with the van myself” Asher said.

Thelma already left with Xander.

“It’s okay Asher. Bye” Cora said and left.
He was speechless as he watched Cora as she left.

“Boss, come take a look at the commercials” someone came to meet him.

“Sure” he said and slowly diverted his gaze from Cora.

“Hazel, Hazel. Wake up you moron!” Sunny slapped Hazel’s arm. She slowly sat up from the bed and looked round.

“Where are we?” She asked.

“You should leave. Your wedding” Sunny said, almost yelling. Hazel shot her eyes wide open she got out of the bed.
She quickly wore her dress and arranged her hair like nothing happened.

“See you at my mansion” she said.

“Sure, I’ll be there” Sunny replied.

She opened the door and left. Sunny sighed and laid back on the bed.

Hazel got to the house and alighted from the car.
She walked into the house and saw Jack.

“Hazel!” He said and walked towards her.

“Hey baby” she said and hugged him.

“Have you been drinking?” He asked. He perceived some scent of alcohol on her body.

Oh, not really. Just to celebrate our union, we had a little drink” she replied.

“Oh, that’s good” he said.

“Come on, let’s hurry and get ready for the wedding” she said, running towards the stairs.

“You don’t have to worry. He’s coming from another town so, he would come later in the day” he said.

“Why?!” She yelled.

“Huh?” He asked, giving her a questioning look.

“I mean, why am I then rushing?” She laughed sarcastically and walked to the room. Jack shook his head. He has been trying to call his sister.

“I should send her a message on social media” he said and went online. He frowned when he saw that his sister didn’t accept his friend request.

“Naughty girl!” He gr0×ned. His mother walked towards her.

“What’s pissing you off?” She asked.

“I can’t get through to Hazel” he said.

“Me too. I don’t know why. Let’s try with your father’s phone” she said.

“Yeah” he said and they walked to his home office.

Cora leaned her head when she was in the plane.
“I’m so tired” Thelma gr0×ned.

“Yeah, I’m gonna sleep” Cora replied.

“We are taking off now. Please, all phone and other devices should be switched off” they heard the voice. Cora switched off her phone and tried to sleep again.
Thelma also switched off her phone. They both dozed off.

“It’s switched off” Jack said.

“Try again” Mrs Brooks said. Jack tried again but it was still switched off.

“Can we call Asher?” She asked.

“I don’t have his contact” he said.

“I’m meeting with his father tomorrow. We are going to plan for their wedding. I’ll ask for Asher’s contact” Mr Brooks said.

“Why not now?” Jack asked.

“Relax, I know you are worried about your sister. But she’s fine. If I go to Mr Greg now, I may miss your wedding” he said.

“Fine dad, tomorrow” he said and hand over the phone to his father. They both left the office.

After some hours, Cora wanted to do a live video but she knew her brother would see it. She wanted to surprise the whole family. Cora wore her sunglasses. She walked to the road and flagged down a cab.

Thelma and Cora got into the cab and they drove off.
“How are you going to tell your family about Hazel?” Thelma asked.

“When we get to the water, we’re gonna know how to cross it” she said.

“Nice” Thelma said.

Hazel was getting ready for her wedding. She stared at her reflection on the mirror and adored her skin.

Jack walked into the room and k×ssed her cheek.
“You have a guest” he said.

“Who’s that?” She asked.

“Ta-da!” Sunny appeared. She was holding a bottle of wine and wearing something that was really revealing.

“I’ll leave you two alone but be down in thirty minutes” he said and left.

“Sure handsome” Sunny said, licking her l-ips as he Jack left.

“Gosh! He’s so hot” Sunny said.

“Forget it b!tch. Just help me with my hair” she said.

After some minutes, Hazel slowly walked down the stairs with Sunny behind her. Mrs Brooks stared at Sunny and rolled her eyes.

The lawyer was around already. He was holding the papers in a suitcase.

She got down already and walked towards Jack. They k×ssed and walked towards the lawyer.

“I’m not a pastor but I pronounce you husband and wife” he started. They all chuckled.

They sat down and he tried opening the suitcase.
“Why is he taking so long?” She asked in a whisper.

“Relax, there’s a passcode” he replied in a low tone.

“Arh.. it’s opened already” he said and brought the paper.

He read what was written on the paper. Hazel was feeling so excited. She turned and stared at Sunny. Sunny gave her a thumbs up.
Mrs Brooks saw them and rolled her eyes.

After spending minutes reading the papers, he placed the paper before them and pushed it to them.
“Here, sign it” he said.

“Who’s gonna go first?” The lawyer asked. Hazel quickly grabbed the pen from Jack and signed.

She passed the paper and pen to him, smiling at him.

He positioned the pen, ready to sign. He wrote the first letter of his signature…

“Stop!”

Hazel shut her eyes wide open when she saw Cora. Her heart started beating fast as she started sweating.

“Oh yay! Cora’s back. Come on, sign quickly” she said.

“Don’t sign it Jack” Cora said and walked towards them. Sunny saw her and rolled her eyes.

“B!tch” she murmured.

“Why?” Mr Brooks asked.

“Yeah, why?” Jack asked. Without hesitation, Cora grabbed the papers and positioned her hands to tear it apart.

“No!” Hazel yelled.

“What is wrong with you Cora?” Jack asked, standing up.

“I’m trying to protect you Jack, from her! And also your reputation, my reputation and this family reputation!” She yelled back at her brother.

“What in the actual f*ck are you talking about?” He asked. He was getting pissed off already.

“Why don’t you allow Hazel tell you herself?” Thelma said as she walked in. She folded her arms and stood beside Cora.

Everyone diverted their gaze to Hazel, waiting for her to talk.

“What are you hiding from me Hazel? Tell me” Jack said to her slowly.

Hazel s×¢ked in her l-ips not wanting to cry.
“I’m sorry. It’s never my fault” she said.

“Just tell me” he said.

“Promise me you won’t leave my side” she said.

“I…”

“Don’t promise her anything Jack. You’re just blinded by love” Cora said.

“Just give us some moment” Jack said as he shot Cora a hærd glare.

“It’s a long story. I never wanted this for myself. I was from a very poor family and.. I lost my parents at a very tender age. My uncle decided that he would take good care of me but he did the opposite. He never sent me to school or give me three square meals a day. I hærdly dress nice. It got to a point that he couldn’t take care of me anymore, he made me sleep in the washing machine. He punished me so hærd, even for the offense I never committed. When I was twelve, he dresses me nice and locked me in a room. I never knew what he was up to, until I saw two men walk into the room. They handed my uncle some money and he left. They assaulted me but there was nothing I could do. There was no one I could tell. I was used to it when I was sixteen. I would even beg men to f*ck me. It was like hell for me. I became a signed p*rnstar when I was nineteen. I enjoyed my job till I breech my contract two months ago. That was when I met Jack. I knew there was no way to survive except to get married to a rich man. I’m sorry Jack” she said, holding his jacket. Jack shook his head and moved back, away from her. They were all touched by her story but they can’t allow her get married into the family.

“Why do you lie to me?” Jack asked in a low tone.

“I’m sorry Jack. I’m really sorry” she said.

“Just leave please. Leave” he said and walked away. He ran up the stairs, hurt.

Cora tore the papers and walked to her parents. She hugged them and walked up the stairs with Thelma. Mr and Mrs Brooks shook their head and also walker away.

Sunny walked towards her friend and squatted in front of her. Hazel was crying.
“It’s okay Hazel. Just stop crying” she said.

Hazel on the bed in Sunny’s hotel room. She was drinking, crying and also wiping her tears.
Sunny was pacing about in the room.

“Can you just stop crying already? Come on, you can’t cry because of a man” Sunny said.

“He’s not just a man. He wanted to get married to me. He almost…”

“Yeah, I know. I was there. And it’s because of that Cora he didn’t get married to you”

“No, it’s my fault. I should have told him the truth at first than him knowing the truth at the bad time” she said, sniffing in.
Sunny rolled her eyes and sat beside her friend.

“It’s not your fault. Cora made it worse. Don’t you get!”

“Just let me be. What do I do now?!!” She gr0×ned and continued crying.
Sunny fumed and grabbed her laptop. She went online.

“You’re so dead Cora” she mumbled under her breath.

Cora was having dinner with her parents. Jack wasn’t in the dinning room. Everyone was still not feeling comfortable. They pitied Hazel but they didn’t understand why she had to lie to them. What would the public say when they see her in a reputable family like theirs.

“I’m going to see Jack” Cora said and stood up.

“Are you sure? He must be mad now” her mother said.

“It’s okay mom. I can take care of it” she said and went away. She walked to Jack room and saw the door was unlocked. Jack never enjoyed locking his room. She walked into the room and closed the door behind. She saw him smoking.

“Jack?” Cora called out. He turned and stared at her, puffing out the smoke. He diverted his gaze away from her and stared at the plain sky. She gathered courage and walked towards him.

“I’m sorry” she said.

“It’s okay. At least, I got to know the truth about her on time before signing” her brother responded.

“I tried calling you but I don’t know why I couldn’t get through to you” she said.

“I also tried reaching you. I thought you blocked my number” he replied, staring at her.
He checked his phone again and saw that he blocked his sister.

“I never knew I blocked you” he said.

“It wasn’t you. It was Hazel” she said. She noticed the look on his face at the mention of Hazel.

“How was the shoot?” He decided to change the topic.

“It was fine. I had to share a room with Asher, how disgusting” he said.

“I know you’re still mad at him but you have to forgive you and move on. Dad is planning your wedding with him with his father tomorrow” he said.

“How can I forget the fact that he used me? It’s f*cking annoying”

“Hazel also used me. I’m going to have to move on also, you know” he said.

“Yeah, but I have a problem” she said.

“Tell me, what is it?” He asked.

“I don’t want anyone knowing we are married. If the public gets to jnow know I’m getting married to someone, especially Asher. I have no idea what will happen. Think about dad’s company. They would think dad sold me to Greg’s household” she said. Jack smiled.

“You know that’s not true. Well, you can have a secret marriage” he said. Cora furrowed her eyebrows, giving her brother a crazy look.

“You can just sign the contract that you are getting married. You can do the ceremony whenever you’re ready. You just have to keep it a secret” he said.

“That could work. But… I don’t know if I’m going to get married to Asher” she said and rolled her eyes.

“Since we are both depressed, why don’t we go to our regular joint?” He asked.

“You are the depressed one here but, sure let’s go. I really miss their ice cream” she said.

After some minutes, they got to the ice cream house. They alight from the car and smiled at the building. Cora saw some people pointing at her and staring at her in such irritating manner.

“Why are they staring at you?” Jack asked. They even took pictures of them.

“I have no idea” she replied and ignored them. She walked into the ice cream house.

“Hello. How can I… Argh, it’s you. What do you want?” The owner of the house walked towards them and quickly changed his mood.

The customers were even glaring at her.

“How do you feel being a secret wh*re?” He asked.

Jack and Cora stared at each other confused.
“What are you talking about?” She asked.

“You don’t have to act innocent. We’ve seen the video” He said. Cora quickly brought out her phone and checked it. It had almost ten million views in just three hours. She saw the video and closed her mouth in shocked.

“That’s not me” Cora said.

“You don’t have to hide it hunny. You even have some p*rnstar that testify that they’ve had it with you. And I don’t want a wh*re walking into my building. So leave!”

“You are mistaken. You’ve known us since childhood. Do you think Cora would ever do that?” Jack asked.

“I don’t know and I don’t care. Leave!” He yelled again. Without hesitation, Cora ran out of the ice cream house and went into the car. Jack shook his head and went after her sister.

“Let’s go home!” Jack said to the driver. He started the car and quickly zoomed off.

Cora cried her way home. She couldn’t believe someone would make up lies about her.

“Relax Cora, I know this is embarrassing. We’ll figure out what to do when we get home” Jack said.

“No one came save me from this shame. Loom at the views, I even lost half of my follower. I’m doomed!” She said and cried.
