📚Chapter Thirty Four📚

🌀🌀LINCOLN POV

“Am sorry Lincoln,I didn’t mean to yell at you”.Madeline said when she saw me going home.The restaurant has closed for the day.

“I understand why you did all that Madeline but we got suspended,isn’t that great?”.I scoffed,there was a hint of anger in my voice.

“Am sorry,I won’t do that again”.She said and I rolled my eyes before I continued walking.

I got suspended for the first time because of her and now she is apologizing. Gosh!!

I opened the door to the house when I got home and I saw Belle watching TV.She looks bothered.

“Hey Lin”.She said as she turned to look at me,she was just noticing my presence.

“Hey”.

“Lin I got something to discuss with you but you should go freshen up first,you are looking so sweaty”.She looked serious saying this and that made me feel confused.

What does she want to discuss with me? Is it anything important?

I wondered but still I gave a nod before going to my room.I took off my clothes and bathed before clothing myself with a hairy blue pajama with some strips of white.

I walked back to the living room and thankfully Belle was still there,so I just sat on a couch ready to listen to whatever she wants to say.

“Lin,I think I saw Samantha today”.She said and I felt a sting in my heart.The painful memories were flooding back to me and I gritted my teeth.

“Sam…antha? What does she look like?”.I asked,not letting my face show the anger I was feeling.

“Well,she has brown hair and dark eyes,she is also a bit taller than me and she is slender”.She said and I chuckled slightly.

That’s is not the Samantha.Samantha is a Blondie with brown eyes and she must be in the same height as Belle.She is also not slender,she is plumb.Though I don’t know if she had dyed her hair or grow taller or even reduced weight.

“She is not the Samantha I know”.I said and she nodded.

“I thought so too,the one I met was nice”.She said and I stood,heading to the kitchen.

“What are you going to prepare?”.Belle asked as we both got to the kitchen.

“I don’t know,why don’t you choose”.I said and she smiled.

“Hmm..noodles,Noddles will be okay for dinner,right?”.She asked and I nodded,setting the pot on top of the gas cooker before I turned it on.

“Bel..”.I called and she turned to me. “I was suspended today at the restaurant,I won’t go to work for three days”.

“Why? What happened?”.She asked and I began recalling all that happened.

“I had a fight with a waitress and my Boss suspended the both of us”.

“Really? You had a fight with a waitress?”.

“No,don’t think of it that way.The waitress had a fight with me,I didn’t get into a fight with her”.

“Uh,okay.Can i ask you something?”.

“You already asked,Bel”.

“Come on Lin,be serious”.

“Am serious”.

“Fine! Who is a waitress?”.She asked and I gro-ned.

Then my phone began ringing and I realized someone was calling.I stared at the caller ID and it was an unknown caller.

“Hi”.I said when I answered the call but the caller didn’t speak.

“Hi,who are you?”.I said again but the caller still didn’t speak.I was about hanging up but a voice came up.

“Lincoln,it’s me Abby.Don’t you dare hang up”.Abby yelled and I immediately disconnected the call.

Yuck! She even had the guts to call me.

I turned back to Belle but flinch when I saw her hands reaching to the flame.

“What are you doing Belle?”.I yelled as I drew her hands away from the flame.

“Am sorry,I was only trying to touch it.I couldn’t resist it”.She said calmly like if she was only trying to do the right thing.

“You shouldn’t try that next time,the flame will hurt you”.I said and she giggled.

“I will heal, remember?”.She said and I sighed heavily.

“It will heal after you feel the pain,right?”.I asked and she nodded.

“So then don’t touch it if you don’t wanna feel the pain”.

“Am sorry Lin,I would try to resist it next time”.She apologized.

“Yeah,you should”.I added and turn back to the pot.

📚Chapter Thirty Five📚

I woke up the next morning and smiled seeing Belle close to me on my bed.She wore a Tee shirt and mini skirt,her laps were visible.I took her closer to myself and began car-ssing her.

“Lin,what are you doing?”.She mouthed,her eyes sparking with desire.

“Am doing what I should have done”.I said and took her l-ips in mine. She bit my lower lip slowly and wrap her hands around my neck.

The k-ss got really intense and when we both couldn’t catch our breaths,we pulled away and fell back on the bed.

“I love you Lin”.She said and drew me closer to me before k-ssing me roughly.

My eyes flew open as I p-nted heavily.Damn! It was just a dream but it looked so real.

I stared at the half closed window and realized it was morning.

“Lin,I brought you tea.I hope you like it”.Belle said as she entered my room with a mug of tea in her hand.

She wasn’t wearing a Tee shirt and a mini skirt like I saw in the dream but a long sleeved shirt and dark p-nt. That made me glad,I don’t want what happened in the dream to come true in reality.

“Lin,you should brush your teeth and take a bath and please stop staring at me like if am some sort of food you wanna consume”.She said shyly and I nodded,feeling embarrassed.I didn’t know I was staring at her for long.

“Am so sorry”.I apologized.

“It’s okay”.She said and handed me the mug of tea which I took without hesitation.

“Thank you Bel”.

“Oh please Lin,don’t thank me.Am doing what I should have done”.She smiled and I almost gasped.

‘Am doing what I should have done’.Those were my words in the dream.

‘I Love you Lin’.Her voice resounded in my ears and I smiled.Those words of hers in the dream feels so real…it felt like she was saying it to me in reality.

“Hey,why the smiles?”.She asked and my smile dropped.

“Nothing”.

“Alright then,I will go heat up the noodles we didn’t eat last night.Their is still much more remaining that we didn’t consume”.

“Thanks Bel”.

“I don’t thank me Lin”.She beamed and left my room.

I walked to the bathroom and brushed before gulping down the tea she made.Ah! Refreshing!!

I decided to take a bath and that was what I did before clothing myself in a white shirt and dark short.I wore a slipper before going to the living room.

I sat on a couch and switched on the TV, I began watching an horror movie.Hmm…Vampires! Interesting!

“That look scary”.Belle said as she walked to the living took,her index finger was pointed at a Vampire s-cking blood from a child who was whining loudly.

“Yep,that’s why I love it”.I said and she gasped.

“You love scary things?”.She asked surprised and I shook my head.

“I meant that I love scary movies”.I said but she flinched suddenly.

“Lin,you should save the child,that scary thing wants to eat her”.She yelled,her gaze were on the TV.

“Come on Bel,it’s just a movie.I can’t possibly go into the movie,it’s impossible”.I said with a chuckle.

“But how did they end up in the TV? If they were able to get in,then they can get out right?”.She asked and I busted into laughter.

Oh my Geez! So funny!

“Bel..it was acted and everything you see in there can’t come out”.I explained and she nodded embarrassed.

“Sorry Lin,I didn’t understand it earlier”.She apologized.

“Fine! Is the noodles ready?”.I asked and she nodded.

“Yes,I came to inform you about it but I guess I got distracted by the movie”.She said.

“It’s okay,let’s go eat”.I said and we walked to the dining room.

“You are on morning shift,right?”.I asked as we ate.

“Am always on morning shift,Lin”.She said and I sighed.

“Oh! I forgot”.I said and watch her eat before I continued eating.

When we were done eating,Belle went to dress up for her work while I washed the dishes.When she done,she was about leaving but I stopped her.

“I should accompany you”.I said but she shook her head.

“No Lin,you shouldn’t bother yourself”.She said.

“Um…okay but hope you still remember the way?”.I joked and she huffed.

“Of course Lin,am not a kid anymore”.She said and I smiled.

“Goodbye Belle”.I said and she blushed a bit.

“Goodbye Lin”.She said and pecked me on both cheeks before running away.
