Green Eyed Devils
Chapter 13
 
#LYRA
 
You wanna know the bad thing about one’s mother dying early, they get stuck with their dads. Sometimes, they get stuck with stepmothers and sisters or brothers but unfortunately for me, I got stuck with a dad with the brain of a five years old. Dad stood with arms akimbo staring at my heap of clothes, he was grumbling to himself.
 
‘You need to get a new wardrobe, your clothing s-cks.’
 
‘Dad you s-ck at female dressing.’
 
‘Have you forgotten I was a model before? I can handle this.’ He said stubbornly.
 
‘Yeah, just like you handled my first flow.’ I said sarcastically. He whimpered.
 
‘You can’t blame me, I saw you bleeding and I panicked. I was scared you would die like everyone else.’
 
‘You fainted, if I was going to die, wouldn’t I have died during your fainting episode.’ I scoffed.
 
‘I’m a man, how was I suppose to know women bleed most times.’ He defended.
 
‘Didn’t you go to high school? Didn’t you attend health classes? Didn’t you have girlfriends? Didn’t you have mom? You are making excuses dad.’
 
‘You think it’s easy to raise a daughter?’
 
‘Heh, heh, you tried.’ I smiled. He cursed under his breath.
 
‘Just put this on.’ He threw me a gray sweatp-nts and matching gray s₱0t b-ra I laughed.
 
‘Who told you I needed a dress up again?’
 
‘Oh come on! I’m trying here. That’s it, in getting you a stylist.’
 
‘Again, don’t need it.’
 
‘Yeah, but I need someone that can cook better than you.’
 
‘It’s not my fault your tongue is confuse.’
 
‘I have never been more insulted.’ He said dramatically. In conclusion, we ended up arguing for hours and betting again before I lost.
 
# VIOLET
 
I smiled as I walked to the roof, I was back in school for one reason, to get my boyfriend back, Xeris. We haven’t exactly dated exclusively because the stupid boy won’t love me back but I was determine this time to get him to love me no natter what. The student were pointing at me and murmuring, obviously surprise I cane back.
 
‘Are you sure you want to throw yourself on him again?’ Drizella asked worriedly. I rolled my eyes.
 
‘What do you mean by I throw myself at him? Xeris loves me, he just don’t know how to show and admit it.’ She sighed.
 
‘Sure he don’t,’ she said sarcastically. ‘And I’m sure you haven’t forgotten what Xena did to you the last time? She warned you to stay away from her brother.’
 
‘Just shut up Drizel, Xeris belongs to Violet and that’s final.’ Sasha said admittedly. I smiled, she and the other one, Kenzie always told me what I wanted.
 
‘Sure, whatever you said.’ Drizel said uninterestedly. I walked into the roof where they were holding a party, the popular ones that is.
 
‘Hey Xeris,’ I purred. He was standing at the edge, his body leaning on the rail. Everyone gro-ned.
 
‘You’re becoming a leech to everyone girl, stop it.’ Drizel whispered in my ear. I pushed her away.
 
‘Violet, you’re back.’ Xeron said disappointedly.
 
‘Did you expect me to spend forever in Hong Kong.’ I scoffed
 
‘I was hoping your plane will crash on your return and you’ll die.’ Xeris said plainly, everyone laughed.
 
‘Why did you survive again?’ Xena asked chucklingly.
 
‘I told you before, I’m the only girl for you.’
 
‘I don’t think leftovers are things.’ He sighed. Drizel shook her head. He was humiliating me again but I will never let him go.
 
‘What’s your problem Violet, why can’t you use your head for now.’ Xena sighed.
 
‘Violet, I have a girlfriend now, stop bothering me.’ Everyone looked at him. ‘What? I’m serious.’
 
‘Hey Xeris, it’s Uncle Lake!!!’ Xena shrieked excitedly and covered her mouth, ‘oh my God!’ She ran out squealing, since when does she squeal?.
 
‘You think I’m lying? That’s my girlfriend.’ He pointed to a girl coming out of the car, she had long hair, very long hair. I gulped, she was beautiful, more than me.
 
I hate her.
 
# LYRA
 
‘I still say I’m hotter than you.’ Dad argued, we’ve been arguing over random stuffs all morning, I was three hours late for school but we were still arguing. I stepped out of the car and c*cked my h¡ps.
 
‘Dad, I’m a girl and I look like mom, why are you arguing!’ I exclaimed rolling my eyes. ‘Why does it even matter.’
 
‘Because of this babies,’ he said wiggling his brows and flexing his muscles. I’ve never seen a business man who wears crazy shirt with ripped jeans to work everyday. He always wear gold chain and gold forearms chains. He also wear chain belts.
 
God I miss my mother.
 
‘Why don’t we trade age?’ I asked with a sigh.
 
‘Then i have to GI to school again!’ He panicked holding his head. ‘No way!’ He shoved his hands into his zip pockets and leaned on the car door with a flirtatious smirk and raking his hands through his tousled blonde hair. He’s like my hot teenage dad.
 
‘You need to get fired.’
 
‘I own the business darling, I can’t get fired. What do you say we ditch school and go shopping, I’m bored.’
 
‘Dad, go to work, you’re my dad, you’re not suppose to be advising me to ditch school.’
 
‘I don’t wanna go to work,’ he cried sliding down a little. ‘So many paperwork to complete, my head is going to explode!’ He whined childishly. ‘It’s been long since I went clubbing, let’s go together and get drunk.’
 
‘Dad,’ I drawled.
 
‘I miss you.’
 
I’m right here! We really need to get you laid before you run mad.’ I sighed, he grinned and nodded.
 
‘Oh come hug me baby.’ I rolled my eyes but he hugged me anyways. ‘You smell like your mother, I miss her so much.’ He really needs a girlfriend before the devil pushes him to me. I patted his back.
 
‘There there big man,’ he stood up straight and giggled. ‘Did you drunk this morning?’
 
‘Maybe,’ he whispered and laughed. ‘I’m getting you an assistant.’
 
‘Are you sure she’ll be my assistant and not yours?’
 
‘You know me, I’m hot.’ I rolled my eyes, he winked at me.
 
‘Uncle Lakey!!!!’ Xena shrieked running to us, I moved out if the way before she bulldozed me out. He hugged her while spinning her around. ‘Oh Lakey, you look young as ever,’ she said obviously ogling my dad. ‘You’re like my dad but only hotter.’
 
‘You can say that again,’ he said smirkingly and winked at her. She blushed. ‘And you look really bad in a very s€×y way, I like s€×y bad girls.’ She giggled and twirled her fingers around her hair sheepishly.
 
‘Are you seriously flirting with my friend! She’s like 16!’
 
‘I’ll have you know that I’m 25 and no longer a kid. Just because I look like a teenager doesn’t mean I am one.’ She battered at her at dad, he chuckled. I blinked in shock.
 
‘And that’s why you’re the prettiest cutie I know.’
 
‘Oh my God,’ I breathe and paced around. ‘Seriously Xena?’
 
‘What did I do? I was just complimenting a sweetheart.’
 
‘Dad, she’s your friend’s daughter!’
 
‘Geez Lyra, we’re not doing anything, why are you exploding.’ Dad said with a frown, okay I was overreacting, my dad was a born flirt so it was in his nature to do so. ‘Hey! X-Men!’ He shrieked waving his hands. I looked behind me, the guys were strolling to us with a smile. ‘Looking goof X-Men.’
 
‘Looking s€×y as always Uncle Lake, you rock off the s€×y world more than my dad.’ Xeron said smilingly. Dad winked at them s€×ily, Xena almost fainted. I huffed, opened the door and pushed him in. ‘Get out, now!’ I slammed the door shut, he laughed and stuck his head out of the window.
 
‘What, no k-sses?’
 
‘Get lost.’ He pouted, I sighed and k-ssed his forehead. He squealed and fanned himself dreamily. ‘Drive this toy away!’
 
‘Yea yea I get it. You want me gone so you can spend more time with your Romeo,’ he said teasingly wiggling his brows at Xeris. I went crimson. ‘Bye s€×y Xena and Xino junior, break my baby’s heart, she need to live and learn….or you can just f-ck and dump her, either way, she cries.’
 
‘Dad!!!!’
 
‘Bye baby love!’ The car drove away fast.
 
‘I hate you!!!!’ He brought out his hand and gave me the middle finger, my cheeks were beyond red. I huffed and turned around, the guys were staring at me amusedly while Xena as in cloud nine. ‘What?’
 
‘Tell that to your costume, what are you wearing?’ I was wearing an Egyptian queen outfit. I sighed.
 
‘We argued, he won and I wore this. Life is hærd guys.’ Xeris looked at me one more time and laughed, Xeron joined him. I rolled my eyes even though I was embarrassed. ‘Xena can you atop drooling over my dad?’
 
‘Your dad is so dreamy.’
 
‘You still have a crush on him, Xena he’s like hundred.’
 
‘Me jeeps getting hotter,’ she said blushingly. ‘Your mom is lucky, I wonder how his power in bed is….’ She trailed off, clearly imagining it. Xeron slapped her, a very hærd one and ran away. ‘Come back here you bald idiot!!!’ Xeris was on the ground now laughing as he pointed at me.
 
‘It’s not that funny,’ I said folding my arms. He stopped laughing, looked at me again and continued. I hissed and walked away. ‘Hey honeybee!’ He shouted. Everyone was looking at us, me to be precise. I just walked out of Lake Ocean’s signature luxury Lamborghini sport. ‘Hey babe, wait up!’
 
The sound of him calling me that was tingling, he caught up to me and grabbed my wa-ist, closing every space between us like Xeron did the previous day but unlike Xeron’s, my stomach shunned and fluttered with multiple butterflies. The s₱0t he held sending electricity through my body, my knees were getting weak, I couldn’t think of anything other than the guy holding me so close.
 
‘What are you doing?’ I gasped trying to push him away but his grip was tight.
 
‘Come on babe, we have a very long week ahead of us, this is just day 1.’ He said smirkingly as he wiggled his brows.
 
‘Can you not be so close? You’re making me uncomfortable.’
 
‘Oh yeah, this is just the beginning.’
 
‘Oh Rapunzel.’ Wells called in a singsong as he ran to us, it happened in slow motion,  he was intentionally running in slow motion as he waved. Oh his shirt was an Italian writing “I’m Lyra’s best friend, stay away from me.”
 
I forced myself away from Xeris and ran for my life.
 
Why am I surrounded by idiots.
