EPISODE 7

“Good morning Mamy” Marie squeaked walking out of the room
“Mamy?” Gloria asked
“Oh sorry, Mommy” she beamed again
“But you call me mom”
“Oh I do? I just feel like part of my memory was wiped out somehow. But it makes me feel good” Marie added
“Okay, come help me pack up these laundry to the Washing Machine before you eat your breakfast”.

Marie hummed as she walked her way through the locker hall
“Hey hey” she heard someone yell. She still kept walking humming.
“Marie, wait” she heard the male voice yell again. ‘That Marie must really have ear problems’ she thought
“Marie.. Marie”

‘Wait a minute, I’m Marie’

“Oh Hey” she finally said turning and starring at the boy.
“I’ve being calling you to wait”
“Sorry” she beamed
“How was your night?”
“Good” she replied almost instantly
“So ready to be a friend now?” He asked again
“Of course am friends with everyone. Your name please?”
“Oh you’ve forgotten? It’s Jake” he replied
” Yeah yeah Jake. I remember” she said with a faux smile.

Classes went boring for Marie, she felt the topics were too hærd. Somehow she was expecting to be taught simple arithmetics and lettered words.

Finally school was over and she found herself waiting with Gina in the scorching sun for Freddie.
They finally sighted him walking out with three other students, a guy and two girls. As they approached closer, Marie felt familiar with one of the girls. The girl giggled and it dawned on her who it was, it was Rainbow her sister.

Surprised? How could Rainbow possibly be Marie’s sister?

Remember little ghost Aria possessed Marie .
Aria has being the one controlling Marie’s body all day long. She couldn’t just feel it but she felt different and alive. But now that she has set her eyes on Rainbow, she knew what her mission in Marie’s body was.
They kept walking towards Gina and Marie (or perhaps Aria). Anger grew in Aria, she was willing to choke Rainbow to death.
“We’ve being waiting for so long” Gina mumbled
“Sorry, had to wait for them” Freddie replied “Dylan meet my sisters Gina and Marie. Girls meet a new friend Dylan” Freddie introduced
“Hi girls” Dylan said
” Oh hi. Pleasure to meet you” Marie (Aria) said offering a handshake with Dylan. Freddie starred at her in surprise, normally she’d just roll her eyes then start walking home. But he waved the thought away.
“Let’s get going already, the sun’s scorching” Rainbow said bluntly. At the sound of the voice, Marie became angry again.
“I’ll be taking the bus, my house is pretty far” Dylan said walking away.
” See you tommorow man”.

They all started walking but surprisingly Marie wasn’t walking fast this time. She walked with them and was listening to their conversation. How much she wished to lay her bare hands on Rainbow’s throat.

ONE WEEK IN⬜⬜

Everybody was talking about Marie Corvette, she was surprisingly nice and her sour expression had changed to a brighter one. She hanged more often with Laura and Jake. The Students has given her the nick name ‘Miss Nice’
Aria seemed to forget the main reason she possessed Marie, she was enjoying having a life as a young teenager.

“I can’t believe they chose I and Rainbow to be team” Freddie yelled for the upteenth time
” What team?” Marie (Aria) asked
“Not really a team, but like group members. We’ll be working as partners for our upcoming science project”
” So? ” Marie (Aria) asked again curious
” So like we will be going to each other’s houses every weekend or after school” he explained further
” Hmmmm interesting”
” What’s interesting? ”
” Great” she said and ran to the room
” That’s not great. I wished it would have being Ronnie” Freddie muttered to himself

“I can’t last any longer in this body, she’s getting weak. I have to strike now that Rainbow and Freddie will be working together as whatever partners” Marie (Aria) said starring at the big standing mirror; talking to herself.
“Why are you talking to yourself in such scary voice?” Gina asked still standing at the door.

Marie startled and turned to see Gina starring at her. She walked to the mirror beside Marie and was shocked to see another girl’s reflection instead of Marie’s.

“Marie…….why is your reflection like that?” Gina asked again
Marie turned and see what she was talking about, her reflection was Aria’s. ‘Gina has found out already’ she thought
“Uhm…. I can explain” Marie (Aria) began
“Start explaining ’cause am getting freaked out”. Gina almost scre-med “First you were talking to yourself in some different scary voice, and now your reflection on the mirror is a girl with blood stains on her dress”

” Okay okay you don’t need to tell Gina. I’m not who you think I am. I’m a ghost that borrowed your sister’s body. But trust me am not using it for evil.” Aria explained.
” You’re a what now?” Gina half-yelled
“Shhhh someone might hear us. My real name is Aria …………… ” and blah blah blah Aria explained it all to Gina.
” Whoa! Interesting, so you have a kind of super power now?” Little Gina beamed
“Aria has powers but Marie doesn’t. So promise me you won’t tell anyone and I would be your friend” Marie (Aria) said curtly
” I promise, I pinky swear” Gina said again sticking out her pinky finger.

DAYS LATER⬜⬜

“Hi Rainbow welcome to our humble abode” Marie (Aria) beamed as she let Rainbow in. She was going to be studying with Freddie. This was Aria’s chance.
Rainbow looked round the living room, it had changed so much but memories of her, her brother and Aria filled her thoughts. This was their former apartment, but after Aria died they moved out.
“Have a seat. Freddie went to the store with my mum but he will be back in minutes” Marie (Aria) added
” Okay thanks”

” So you care to tell me more about yourself, your life? If you don’t mind we should get a conversation before he comes back”
” I don’t see a reason why you should know my life. But anyways for proper introduction my name’s Rainbow Stallone, last child of my parents” Rainbow began
” Oh, last child? Don’t you have a younger sibling? Like a sister?” Marie asked smirking
“No , it has always been just me and my brother” Rainbow replied

” Ohkay, I see” “Well it might just be a coincidence but I met a young girl named Stallone too. Stallone Aria” Marie smirked
“Sta……Stallone Aria? Well I don’t k..now who that is” Rainbow stammered
“Oh really?”
“Yeah. Just coincidence as you said” Rainbow added

Marie stood up, her eyes now red starring at Rainbow
“Why did you kill me Rainbow?” Marie said, now in Aria’s voice.
Rainbow starred at her too in confusion.

“Why did you kill me?” She said again,still in Aria’s voice

” Aria? ” Rainbow shivered
“Yes it’s me, glad you remember my voice. Oh why won’t you when you see me almost every week in your dreams” Aria said giggling
” You thought you could runway forever by telling Mom to move away from this house” Marie (Aria)’s voice now echoing
” But…. Marie.. ”
“I’m not Marie, can’t you see I possessed her?”
Rainbow scre-med as she ran to the door but it was locked.

” You gave me a mirror, Rainbow. Why? Why did you want me dead?” Marie (Aria) said still echoing
“Aria please…. please… you’ve haunted me enough in my dreams” Rainbow scre-med and dragged the door knob. Finally it opened, she rushed out and kept running

She didn’t see the incoming vehicle which was moving in speed. Just before the driver could clutch the break he had hit her. She slumped to the floor, unconscious…………………..
